crystal was born in los angeles, california and stayed there until she was 15. she moved over to south korea only because she was casted and was asked to audition for pledis entertainment by pledis entertainment themselves. she was supposed to debut with a girl group that has already debuted however, they pulled her out last minute and because of disappointment, she left the entertainment and audition for MS entertainment and eventually got in.

Personality:
crystal is a total crybaby even though she's smiling and jumping around like a little girl. she's also extremely dedicated to music and often seen trying to improve herself, be it her vocals or her dance, by listening to older idols sing or watching dance videos and trying basically every way possible to make sure she gets the fame because she earned it. also, because crystal came over to south korea with her friend in pledis and without her family, she often feels lonely as she has not much company.
