The Silverman introduction

Covet: Tae was in the kitchen making some Stir fry on the stove, She had gone to Panda express to get the chowmein for the dish, but was doing up the vegies and chicken fresh. She was adding the mixture together and getting it mixed together. She had a beer out on the counter as well. She was making dinner for Noah, before she had to go to work, getting it dished up onto a plate for him.
Alexithymiaa: -Noah was slumped down on the couch with his chin essentially in his chest as his feet kicked up across the couch. He'd been feeling pretty shitty after yesterday and all he'd wanted to do was lounge and watch tv and feel sorry for himself. His interest was peaking though when he started to smell the food going in the kitchen, casually glancing over in Tae's direction periodically to check up on her and what she was making.-
Covet: Turning off the burners, Tae grabbed the plate and stuck a fork in it, and then brought it and the beer over to him. "Here you go. Thought you might want something to eat. Nothing special, but should be tasty al the same." She said smiling to him.
AlexithymiaaAlexithymiaa : -He looked up at her when she walked over with the plate of food, raising his brows and sniffing the air before putting his hands out to take the plate from her. "Thanks. Whats in it?" He asked, but didn't exactly wait for her to answer before digging in. // Alan, Cynthia and Cameron had pulled into the driveway moments earlier, Cynthia unbuckling Sadie from her safety seat in the back seat and holding the little girl on her hip as all four of them made their way up to the house to ring the bell.-
Covet: "Chowmein, Chicken, Onions, Peapods, Red pepper, and mushrooms." She said to him as he started eating it. She looked over at the door, "I will go see who that is," Tae said getting up to go answer the door. Whens he opened it up she stood there a second, then blinked. "Um, Hi can I help you?"
Alexithymiaa: "It's good." He mumbled through the food in his mouth, shoveling it in a bit faster because he was enjoying it. "What time are you going to work?" He asked her as she walked off to answer the door. // Both Alan and Cynthia took one look at Tae answering the door and had to force some sort of polite face. Cynthia was a bit better at it and Alan was barely trying to hide his distaste with Tae's outfit. Cameron on the other hand was pretty much gawking at her because hot. "We're looking for Noah Silverman?" Alan asked, stepping up a bit because THE MAN in the family.-
Covet: "Oh, wait are you his family?" She asked then started to smile. "It's so nice to meet you, Come inside, he's just eating right now. I'm Tae by the way she said with a smile, then turned around speaking up to Noah, "Hey babe, Your family is here." She said, leaning over the couch where he was sititng.
Alexithymiaa: -He nearly choked on the food in his mouth when he heard his father's voice from behind him, leaning forward to set the plate down on the coffee table and pushing up to his feet to turn and see them at the door. "What are you doing here? You're early..." He said, somewhat startled. // The group walked into the house and out of the cold, Cynthia forcing another smile at Tae. "Thank you." She leaned down to put Sadie on her feet, watching the little girl run off full speed at Noah's legs to hug him. Alan walked forward, intending to sort of bypass Tae altogether because she was clearly a harlot, slapping a hand on Noah's back. "We took an earlier flight. We were able to rearrange some appointments and come out a little earlier. // Cameron was busy lingering by Tae, slipping his hands into his pockets. "Tell me you're the girlfriend."-
Covet: Tae heard Noah's brother and smiled, "I am. It's really great to meet you all, even if it is a little early." She said "I'm just sad I have to go to work soon, and can't enjoy the company."
Alexithymiaa: "You should have called..." He started awkwardly, leaning down to pick Sadie up and swing her up onto his hip. "Hey little one, miss me?" He asked before looking over at his mother and his brother. "Well uh.... this is Tae. My girlfriend. Tae, my parents, Cameron, and Sadie." He wanted to die a little bit. // Alan took another look at Tae, not actually addressing her and just going back into Noah. "We thought a surprise might be fun." Cynthia finally stepped over, offering a hand to Tae. "It's nice to meet you, Tae. We understand if you have to go to work and can't stick around." And she IMMEDIATELY assumed Noah was dating a stripper because who goes to work this late, dressed like that, that isn't a stripper. Nice. // Cameron was not at all shy, walking over to stand next to her. "I'm sure we'll have plenty of time to spend together over the next few days. More than enough time to dish on all the dumb crap Noah's done and sufficiently embarrass him."-
Covet: [She's kind of a stripper. Stripper light. lol]
Covet: Tae smiled at the interaction between Noah and his little sister. "Nice to meet you all as well. " She said taking Cynthia's hand for a quick shake. Looking over at his brother, she laughed, "Well, sadly that's going to be a boring conversation because he really hasn't done a lot of dumb embarassing things. He's kind of been really awesome." She said trying to help boost his appearance.
Alexithymiaa: -Hoisting Sadie up a bit more, he quickly looked over at Cameron. "No. We're not doing this." And then looked at Tae. "Yeah, see. I'm awesome. She thinks I'm awesome." He sighed because he knew he was sort of in for it the next couple of days, leaning down to put Sadie on her feet, watching her jump up onto the couch and bounce on the cushion with her butt. "So what exactly are you doing in town until the wedding?" // "We thought we'd explore a bit and spend some time with you while we're here." Alan said, eyeinng Tae again and judging hard. // Cynthia walked over to the couch and put her hand on Sadie's shoulder to keep her from essentially jumping on the couch. // Cam practically snorted, shaking his head. "Yeah, I don't believe that, but don't worry, I've got plenty of stories for you."-
Covet: "Oh really? Well I look forward to hearing them all." She said with a laugh. "But I won't be contributing any more. He's been nothing but a hero so I can't exactly talk bad about him." Even thoug this bitch gave him endless shit when his sister visited. "There's lots to check out here, I'm sure you guys will have a great time."
Alexithymiaa: -Noah let out a groan, walking over to grab his plate before sitting down on the couch again to dig in. "Why do I get the feeling this is going to be a very long week?" // Alan scowled, staring at Noah. "You're eating on the couch? What kind of animal did I raise? Go sit down at the table and eat like a civilized human being." He said, sliding his hands into his jacket pockets before glancing around. "I'm glad to see the rent for this residence is worth it." // "Oh Alan, take it easy." Cynthia told him, trying to brush off his scolding as she stroked Sadie's dark ponytail. "We should all go to dinner Thursday night. Wouldn't that be nice? Olivia won't be out until Friday because she couldn't get off work, but it's most of the family together." // Cam smirked, rocking back on his heels. "This oughta be good."-
Covet: "Awwh, That's sad that Liv can't get out sooner, but it will be nice to see her again at the wedding." Tae said with a happy smile, trying to ignore Alan's chastising of Noah. "I would love to go out to dinner on Thursday, I'm not working that night."
Alexithymiaa: -Noah sighed, ignoring his dad's comments about how uncivilized he was being by eating not at the table. "It's fine. We all eat on the couch here. No one cares." He said as he set the plate down. "Yeah, I guess dinner is fine... if we have to." // Alan nodded, taking another look around the living room to admire the framing of the room because he's a dad like that. "Then it's settled. Dinner Thursday night. We should probably be getting back to the hotel to put Sadie to bed. It's pretty late." // Cynthia leaned down to pick Sadie up, hugging the girl to her chest. "Maybe tomorrow when you get out of class we can do a little sight seeing together." // Cam grinned, a devilish look in his eye. "Yeah and after sight seeing, I can come over and beat you down in some one on one."-
Covet: "One on one?" Tae asked unsure of what he Cameron was meaning.
Covet: [woops forgot to hit enter]
Alexithymiaa: "Yeah... sight seeing..." He grumbled, not excited for that either. "Hockey." He clarified for Tae before nodding at Cam. "You're on, but I've been practicing like crazy and there's no way you're winning." He got up from the couch to lean in and kiss his mother goodbye, giving Sadie a matching kiss. "I guess I'll see you tomorrow then." // Alan give him a curt nod, turning to gather his wife and Sadie and start for the door. // "Yeah, in your dreams. You could practice every hour of every day and you'd never beat me." He said on his way out to follow his parents, tossing behind him. "Later, Tae!"-
Covet: "Bye, See you all later!" She said with a wave then looked at Noah, "Well they all seemed nice." She said after they walked out.
Alexithymiaa: -As soon as the door closed behind them, he let out a loud "HA!" Sinking down into the couch again to finish eating his dinner. "My dad was judging this place the second he walked in. It's a good thing this house isnt crap otherwise he'd probably be yanking me out of here."-
Covet: "He did seem to be oddly interested in the look all around." Tae said as she sat down. "Your little sister is adorable too."
Alexithymiaa: "He thinks architecture is a hobby." He rolled his eyes, scooping the remaining food off the plate and into his mouth. "Sadie is the best. She's the cutest thing ever and she's the only one who doesn't suck. And you finally met Cam, I guess. He's kind of a dick."-
Covet: "I take it he really likes those home shows, where they're building, remodeling, or showing off the houses?" She asked him. "He didn't seem like he was that bad." Tae said with a laugh.
Alexithymiaa: "Yeah. It's all he watches. That and sports." He set the plate down, leaning back into the couch. "You think he's not that bad because you're used to me. I've really just been conditioning you."-
CovetCovet : "Oh have you now? So he's worse than you? Because he seemed to be the sweetest and friendliest out of all of your family, sub your little sister." She said, with a snicker.
Alexithymiaa: "Who do you think I learned it from?" He asked with a grin, crossing his arms over his chest. "He's only being nice to you because you're hot."-
Covet: "Ah, Gotcha..." She said then laughed, "Hey, I'm not going to complain about that perk. Maybe I'll come watch the two of you facing off. Could be pretty hot"
Alexithymiaa: "You mean watch me kick his ass? He's in denial because I've always been better than he was. Now isn't goign to change shit." He snickers, stepping on the backs of his shoes to kick them off. "I doubt he has skates here though so we'll probably just play in the driveway."-
Covet: "Why not take him to the hockey rink?" Tae asked him raising an eyebrow.
Alexithymiaa: "Because he's not going to be able to do jack shit in rented skates and he's just going to try to use that to justify why I beat his ass. At least if we play on foot, it's an even playing field and when I slaughter him, he has no excuses. Its all fair."-
Covet: "Ah, gotcha." Tae said then stood up, walking over to him, "I need to get going to work, but I'll see you in the morning." She said leaning over to give him a kiss, before she walked off to get her jacket and keys.
Alexithymiaa: -He leaned up to kiss her in return, calling out to her before she headed off "Make a lot of money!"-
Covet: "That's what this ass does!" She said to him as she walked out.
