  1. A small scene as this would have taken place just outside of Osrona where the group has finally found the THING they were looking for. The Wraith of Barsburg, a being of the undead, one who showed no hesitation to cause harm to anyone who passed through the forest. Even though, they came extremely, and I say, extremely close to victory, they would fall...And Uri's attempt to achieve the primordial was a total failure as it caused him to freeze up...Leaving nothing but opportunity for the Wraith to bring him down. This caused Everygreen to have a great injury, one Uri will always feel guilt from even after he would mend it.
  2.
  3. [20:15] Uri would fire off a beam of cosmic energy into the sky to try and draw the Wraith to them.. "Come on out you Wraith bastard!" He shouts, to get the attention of the gods and hope, they bless him with the meeting of a cursed being.
  4. (Uri Sanctum)
  5. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  6.
  7. [20:17] Uri Sanctum exclaims, "Agh!"
  8. [20:17] Uri Sanctum asks, "Is it still so sound asleep that it doesn't want to face us?"
  9. [20:18] Uri Sanctum says, "Hm..."
  10. [20:21] Uri Sanctum exclaims, "!!!"
  11. [20:23]
  12. {LOAD GAME}
  13.
  14. [20:29] {NARRATION} Uri and company stumble upon the wraith as it is seemingly at rest- sat upon on of the pillars of rock, its massive blade leaned up besides it.
  15.
  16. As they approach, it rises from its rest- taking up and brandishing its blade towards them with a wide flourish- its ethereal lips grinning menacingly.
  17.
  18. Yet it's not immediately charging them. Instead, it seems to await them to take their first strike- or, their attempt at a first strike.
  19. [20:33] FInally! Even though his friend Jin had started his journey upon Rebirth road... Uri would continue this journey for him, he would bring justice to this Wraith if he could...If him and Uhli could combine their strength with that of Miura... There were many things to consider...
  20.
  21. Was he afraid...Who wouldn't be? But, now would be the time, to show Faira that he was more than a bookwork as he activates his fire shroud, hoping to surpass his current state of heat. "We've been looking for y'...You're one huge fellow... A legend in your days, perhaps..." He would assume the stance of the Iron fist, hoping it would be enough.
  22.
  23. "Uhli...Miura...Whatever happends… I trust you guys with everything that's about to happen," said the young Medic.
  24. (Uri Sanctum)
  25. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  26.
  27. [20:37] They had been wandering for some time...
  28.
  29. Walking through the woodlands in search of the Wraith of Barsburg, his body tremors with excitement. He'd heard the rumors about the vicious specter knight. Powerful enough to rival many dozens of normal men on their own--
  30.
  31. It explains why he came with Uri and Miura. They couldn't underestimate the strength of the wraith. And when they finally happen upon the one they search for...
  32.
  33. He can feel that they warrant the three of them together. Occultic energy leaking from their person, a dangerous large sword at their back, and with time and metal at their command... The latter which he only knew by information given by Uri.
  34.
  35. Quickly he reaches for the sword at his back and summons the elements under his control. The winds accelerating and lightning humming about him in an uncontrolled manner. His golden eyes wide and grin wider as he stares at the already-prepared knight.
  36.
  37. "Hehehe! Move, Uri and Miura!"
  38.
  39. And with that? He goes forward!
  40. (Uhli)
  41. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  42.
  43. [20:39] There it was. The bastard that beat the aspiring group of Hunters. Infuriated, Miura's veins protruded out the skin at his forehead, pounding deeply. Thump. Thump. As did his heart, which hurried its beat all too well, in front of the Wraith.
  44.
  45. Before even moving, his immediate thought was rage. Thereafter, a sweaty palm gripped the fabric that was his hood, removing it instantly in a sharp tear, unveiling his scarred face.
  46.
  47. Finally, he gripped the hilt of his Sword, lacing it with an aura residing of fire.
  48.
  49. "I'll... end your pitiful existence."
  50.
  51. Foam sprayed out of his mouth, beckoning him to attack in a hurried frenzy.
  52. (Miura)
  53. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  54.
  55. [20:42] {Won Dangerous RPB against Wraith of Barsburg}
  56. [20:59] Observing Amalia once more she would be intrigued by her method of applying glyphs. With a nod and smile she was truly amazed by the display of her work once more. After the enchantment was finished the looked over to Cetta and then returned her crystal clear gaze to Amalia.
  57.
  58. "Thank you, I appreciate this. I wish you well on your return to Myllenoris. Safe Travels. She stated.
  59.
  60. With a glance over them once more she made an assumption.
  61. I do hope you're both alright..? Or another time?" Evergreen would ask.
  62. (Evergreen Solstice)
  63. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  64.
  65. [21:07] Uri Sanctum exclaims, "Geh!"
  66. [21:17] {Lost Dangerous RPB against Wraith of Barsburg}
  67. [21:39] {NARRATION} The wraith seemed to take joy in their own mirth- responding with outspoken vigor, for a spirit long-dead. Its blade was swung with a flourish to its movements, and it truly seemed to be enjoying itself.
  68.
  69. Yet mortal combat it was still. It was very close, at times- the wraith mere moments from inflicting the final wound, itself mere inches from being beaten back.
  70.
  71. Within the end, however- Uri was swiftly dispatched by a blow that did far, far more damage to the Sanctum than otherwise should. He had been saved from any true injuries, luck smiling upon him- hit, by the back of the blade. Uhli suffers a similar fate, yet it is Evergreen whom suffers the most.
  72.
  73. The blade slices into the side of her form- a shallow wound, yet the spirit's ethereal chill would reach out into the Teraphim's flesh. Yet, worse so- moments after, that same greatblade swipes down to execute her. She successfully evades, yet...not enough. As though her life remains hers?
  74.
  75. One of her ears does not.
  76.
  77. The wraith wavers now, however- its form gently flickering, and it seems as if...exhausted. Replacing its blade upon its back, it flees off Eastward- and the ethereal chill that had been left in its wake at all times afore feels...lesser.
  78.
  79. Perhaps its time within this place is waning, yet it has not done so yet.
  80. [21:45] After the great battle with the Wraith of Barsburg. She hand sustained two injuries this day. One brutal slash at her side. And something else that she would remember for the rest of her life. Her ear had been removed entirely. This... was incredibly unfortunate. The amount and anguish she felt at this moment was unbearable.
  81.
  82. Either way.. she was still alive.
  83. (Evergreen Solstice)
  84. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  85.
  86. [21:46] Miura arrived fashionably late, due to tripping on the way.
  87. (Miura)
  88. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  89.
  90. [21:51] They had been right to bring three...
  91.
  92. The Wraith of Barsburg dominated the trio, with them unable to maintain an advantage for long. Rattling chains bind their movements. Oppressive occult energy drains their essences. Time accelerates for them. And a sharp sword strikes down.
  93.
  94. He finds himself luckier than the Solstice woman.
  95.
  96. As hard as he tries he is not able to overwhelm them with his quick attacks. Their spectral vessel acting as if they hadn't taken any damage. Instead he is beaten and then knocked away by a powerful swing of the blunt end of their sword.
  97.
  98. He is lucky it had been the blunt end. Otherwise it would have been his life -- ripping his body two.
  99. (Uhli)
  100. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  101.
  102. [21:52] Uhli exclaims, "Tch!"
  103. [21:52] Evergreen Solstice says, "..."
  104. [21:54] The fight was one that... They were not expecting, nothing they could truly plan for. Sure, Uri had assembled a team capable of truly fighting the Wraith, but, in the end... He would be both cursed and blessed by misfortune as he was dawned without a sweat, without even taking his first step into the fight... What was this? He did so well the first few rounds, why now? Why now of all times did he freeze? How was it that his stamina dropped so rapidly? What hex, what curse was he suffering from?!
  105.
  106. And just like that, he would have been thrown to the side, suffering no true injuries, just very minor ones if anything, nothing sufficient at all. "Evergreen!" He shouts as the fight came to a very close end, so close to victory but...The attacks of the Wraith were too great...And Evergreen, just like Uri and Uhli would fall, but, she suffered the worse from it all.. Her ears would have been sliced off by the undead being.
  107.
  108. "Evergreen no!" Could she even hear him at this point?! Uri felt some guilt, he dragged her into this. He brought her into a field of battle of which she knew nothing of truly... "I should've just...Left you in peace... Evergreen, I'm sorry my colleague..." he speaks to the fellow researcher, in tears for what happened to her...The blood or pieces of ear he saw there on the ground...
  109.
  110. His flames...They were not hot enough, they did not burn as hot as he thought they'd burn... His flames were not primordial just yet... "Evergreen!" He shouts, trying to see if she could hear him..If hearing was a pain for her or if...She couldn't perform the act at all... That's when... Uri would have lead the crew of his, to the clinic where he could mend her...After all, he had the technology and skill to do so. "I--I'll mend you Green! Don't worry!"
  111. (Uri Sanctum)
