  1. In order to save a skin as a .rmskin file you need to add ALL files to 1 single folder in the Documents\Rainmeter\Skins folder.
  2.
  3. Lets say the folder name will be "camxus' skin".
  4.
  5. When you have made sure that ALL files you want to include in the .rmskin file are located in the single folder named "camxus' skin", open up the rainmeter menu (left-click the task-bar icon for rainmeter).
  6.
  7. You dont need to navigate anywhere from here, just find the text "Create .rmskin package" and click it.
  8.
  9. It'll bring up a new window where you'll be able to type in the information for the file.
  10.
  11. Type in the name of the skin, your name as author (or the original creator if you want to let that person keep credit) and the version if you like to be organized and feel like you may work more on this skin later on :)
  12.
  13. (You don't need to type it all in, since this info will only appear in the file-name of the .rmskin and not in the .ini files.
  14. For example: "MinervaAnimeUpdater_0.13.rmskin" is the name of one of my gadgets)
  15.
  16. Then you click on the button "Add skin...", and it will show a drop-down menu of all folders currently in Documents\Rainmeter\Skins.
  17. Choose the folder that you want to make into an .rmskin (camxus' skins)
  18.
  19. If you have saved a layout, you can add that aswell, so all the skins will be loaded automatically as people install the .rmskin.
  20. (Add layout...)
  21.
  22. Then just click next and check that "After Installation" is correctly marked if you have added a layout.
  23. Else, if it is a single gadget you can make it auto-load that single .ini file or you can make it do nothing (default).
  24.
  25. Then click "Create package" and you're done.
  26. The .rmskin file should now be located on your desktop :)
