Magic Training with Cecil

Cecil looked towards Gin. "So that's what happened, huh? She beat you down like a little bitch? Well you know why you lost right?" He asked, pointing towards the beastkins sword on his back.

His head shook, left, then to the right. "I can't say I do. She was just faster."
(Gin Fujiwara)

A tome appeared, seemingly out of nowhere, and was handed to Gin. "Read this, and learn from it. You can't just use a sword to get through life. People use magic, and magic beats swords. Every single time. You'll never amount to anything if you don't learn how to fight with this. Do you understand me?" He asked, taking a few steps back, allowing Gin to soak in the said knowledge from the books.

He sat down. The book he read with filled with ripe knowledge, and each page he read he soaked in much like a sponge. An hour passed, and then two. Eventually, he managed to pick up the basics. Putting his hand up, he allowed energy to soar throughout his body and then into the palm of his hands. In the next moment, he released the said energy, allowing a wave of energy to explode from the palm of his hands.

"Good. You've got the hang of it. Now, it's time to put it into practice." Cecil spoke, before preparing to engage Gin in battle to further hone and train his magic potential, all to ensure he'd never fail again.
