  1. I’m a third-year student, interested in concurrency programming and distributed systems. I've only entered computer science faculty with one thought – to become a Game Developer. And I hope that now my skill level is high enough to apply to your “Software Engineer Intern” position.
  2. I’ve been playing Hearthstone for 2 years, Heroes of The Storm since its beta-version and Star Craft some years ago. And since Overwatch has been launched, I’ve been hearing rave reviews of it and watching streams. For me, gaming is not just a fun pastime. It is much more than that, as you always improve your strategy, get involved into the community, dive deep in all the characters’ lore, watch movies based on the game and sometimes feel a bit envious that people in the world are working on those projects and creating new games, which will definitely gain a massive cult of followers because of not only the company’s reputation, but also the excellent quality of the product.
  3. In Blizzard Entertainment, the most amazing thing is the intricacy of every game. This is firstly about each universe having its own complex stories for every character, where even a little murloc has his own biography. Secondly, the multiple perks to make the game more worthwhile: missions in HoTS, a lot of hot keys in StarCraft, events in HearthStone and its small corner zones, where you can click and change some cute stuff (and, of course, the random, which is admired by all players), different languages in World of Warcraft, unusual classes in Diablo, which can hardly ever be encountered in any other MMO RPG. This great variety of genres and approaches engages players of every type described by Bartle’s taxonomy. To sum up, I really want to be a part of such a great community, which makes people all over the world happier.
