- CHANGELOG 2024:
- Update 16.06.24:
- - Added an Edifier MF200 mini soundbar to my setup. It is used when quality is not as important as convenience, usually when watching streams in the summer
- Update 25.05.24:
- - Added a Noctua NV-FS1 as desk fan
- - I am now maining the Razer Viper V3 Pro
- Update 27.04.24:
- - Added a new, secondary PC (for LAN parties mostly, will likely be used as file server or backup server when not needed otherwise)
- Update 28.03.24:
- - Bought an Endgame Gear OP1WE mouse (white). The combination of this shape and coating is incredible, I really hope there is going to be a lighter OP1W with a 3395 sensor and a Nordic MCU at some point
- Update 02.03.24:
- - Received the MSI MPG 321URX a few days ago. This monitor is insanely good, I love the (semi) glossy coating, OLED and 4K resolution. Easily one of the best buys of all time. I calibrated it (with a proper correction for QD-OLED panels) to improve the white point and gamma, but in general, the monitor is very usable in the sRGB mode already. The perfect blacks and the perfect motion clarity are pretty insane and the 32 inch size is fine for me at least. I do not see this as a competitive disadvantage and for singleplayer/general usage, it is clearly much better than 27".
- - I am now using a Lamzu Maya (black color). I don't know if I prefer it over the Atlantis Mini Pro, but it is a very good mouse and I love the coating on the black color
- Update 10.02.24:
- - Replaced the 512GB Steam Deck with the 1TB version because I prefer the reflection handling of the 1TB version. It is still very obviously glossy (which is good) but it is not a mirror like the 512GB version. In my opinion, it is better even when using indoors in controlled lighting (which is my most common use case)
- - Preordered the MSI 321URX (4K 240Hz OLED) to replace my main monitor (Gigabyte M27Q-X). I hope I will be able to get used to the size, that is the only thing I am unsure about but I did not want to bother with fringing on the 27" 1440p OLED models and wanted to upgrade to 4K anyway
- Update 04.01.23:
- - Bought a Steam Deck OLED 512GB (mostly for VNs)
