Push and Pull

I see a disk on the horizon,
hidden by golden rays saying their final goodbye.
Holes filled as the night moves on,
a summer haze clears, illuminating the mid-night sky

I can see clearly by its silvery wash over the sea caves.
No clouds obscure my view tonight.
The ocean spray from the obsidian waves,
dazzle in the starlight, sparkle in the moonlight.

Mesmerized by crystals' clear,
Enchanted by a soft crashing sound.
Here I lay, out on a pier,
as the waves, my waves, run softly aground
