Chaos Cozy sees the future and sees it's impossible for them to win. Therefore, her plan takes a much different shape.

Chaos magic is a breeze to control for somepony as mischievous as Cozy Glow. With the power to control the cosmos, and alter space and time itself, what better of an idea than to peer into the future and get a glimpse of your inevitable victory?

If you could see the future, and knew exactly when and where you would die, how would that change your daily life? What if you found out that day, was today? That would probably be scary. No less, be stressful.

Would you try to prevent it? That's the dilemma Cozy Glow is faced with, when using Discord's cosmic chaos magic, to peer into the future. She sees the moment they are defeated, and the moment they are turned to stone for their crimes. She also sees that they spend a very long time in stone. How long? Longer than most ponies alive today will live for.

Knowing exactly how this day will end completely alters how Cozy plans their attack.

This one minor detail has a cascading effect that drastically alters how Twilight Sparkle and friends would deal with their toughest threat yet.

Chaos Cozy, a being of unimaginable power, used the magic to peer into the future, and catch a glimpse of her obvious upcoming victory.

But what she saw

"...That's it?" she wondered.

"Golly, Headmare Twilight wouldn't leave me in stone forever, would she?

Cozy watched the future and years pass by

"Is this... how it ends? Is there anything I can do to prevent this from happening?

The two rang the bell, taking all the chaos magic from Cozy. She returned to normal size, but still an alicorn.

"You couldn't control the chaos magic!" Tirek teased.

"Uh, yeah. Heh. Nope. No way sirree. Discord's magic is way out of my league." Cozy lied.

Cozy didn't just look tired from recently wielding the chaos magic, she also looked scared.

*pant* *pant*

"You look like you saw a ghost." Tirek said.

"I did, sort of..." Cozy said.

I can't tell them. If I back down now, they'll think I'm weak. I may use this cursed knowledge to my advantage, but i have to keep it a secret from them. That makes two secrets I have to keep from them.

The second secret is sort of a few secrets but all built upon the same idea. First part, she loves them, full stop. Second, she was personally hurt that Twilight put her in Tartarus so quickly, and never checked on her. School Raze was necessity. Ending is reactionary.

"Cozy!" Chrysalis exclaimed.

"Huh, what?" she asked.

"Wake up! Now that we're invincible, what is the plan?" Chrysalis.

"Hmm, the plan?"

Cozy thought about the future, and how they would lose.

You have a choice to make Cozy. Hmm. You don't lose yet, so I suppose it's fine to follow through with the plan for now.

"Alright, I'll take the bell, and take Twilight head on! Tirek, secure the perimeter. Chrysalis.

"Say hi to Starlight Glimmer for me." Cozy grinned.

"We're going to attack Manehatten first!"

Chrysalis flew around, trapping everypony into goo.

Cozy held the bell, rang the bell, and sapped magic from everypony who crossed her path.

Tirek walked and sapped magic from every pony he saw.

"So long as Discord's chaos magic is in here, we're kind of stuck at this level of power."

Twilight preparing for battle scene (why is this different from canon? idk)

"Pinkie Pie, having the party launcher ready!

"Eye eye!

"Applejack, have that rope in tow.

"Spike. If any of them get close, you have a license to torch

"Torch them? Even Cozy Glow?"

"I said, all of them!" Twilight exclaimed. "I can't have those three ruining my coronation!"

"Huh?"

"I mean, I can't have those bad guys stomping on Equestria...

Cozy Glow, cold

looked to the vista, and there they were

"Twilight Sparkle!?

"There she is!" Chrysalis exclaimed.

"

"On second thought, let's not attack Twilight.

"Then what do we do?"

"I d-don't know..." Cozy said.

The future she saw was so far coming true.

"Why are you misleading us, Cozy Glow?!" Chrysalis asked.
"I can't tell you! It's bad enough that I know!" Cozy replied.
"Know what? What kind of secrets are you keeping from us?!" Chrysalis asked.
"Several. But trust me, none of them would be to your interest." Cozy said.
"Come on, no secrets between us." Tirek said. "No hiding anything that could lead to treachery between us."
"NO!"
*HISS* Chrysalis hissed at her.
"Fine! I'll say it! We can't attack Twilight Sparkle because if we do, we're going to lose!" Cozy exclaimed, flailing her arms up.

The news created awkward silence in the roofless throne room.

"Our failure rate is 100%." Cozy saddened. "Yeah, it doesn't matter what we do! If we fight Twilight Sparkle again, we lose, and we suffer a terrible fate!"

but not everyone was convinced

"I've had enough of this superstition!" Chrysalis snarled.
"It's not a superstition! It's warning! How many times has Twilight saved the day? HOW IS THIS GOING TO BE DIFFERENT!?"

"Because we're..." Tirek said.

But the two thought about

"I saw it, the three of us, we lose to Twilight Sparkle!" Cozy said again.

Chrysalis thought hard about how to best assure their victory. And being the ruthless queen she is, she came up with an unsavory idea.

"Maybe the reason we lost in your vision... is because we've spread our magic reservoir too thin." Chrysalis said, glaring at the filly.
"What are you getting at?" Cozy asked.
"If you're not going to help us, then you're against us!" Chrysalis said.
"You wouldn't dare!" Cozy exclaimed.

"Gimmie!

"NO!"

Chrysalis swiped the bell and-

*RING*

Chrysalis rang the bell, and it zapped Cozy Glow, and started to drain her of her magic. The massive beam latched onto Cozy, and sucked all the magic from her.

"STOP!" Cozy cried.

"Dividing Grogar's magic into three was never going to work. But now that I possess two thirds of Grogar's power, they won't stand a chance."

"You should split it evenly!" Tirek said. "Each of should get half of Grogar's power."

"As if!"

"Stop arguing!"

"She's right! We're accomplishing nothing by killing each other!" Tirek said.

*ugh* "Fine! Let's clean up Twilight and her friends before they have a chance." Chrysalis said.

"Don't go! Twilight's gonna put me in stone when she finds me! *sniff* and you guys are soon to follow." Cozy 's going to punish me. And if you guys don't accept me, then I have nothing!" Cozy cried.
"You'll have nothing regardless." Chrysalis said.

"What do you have to gain by lying to us?" Chrysalis asked.
"I don't have anything to gain, even if I was lying, *sob* I just don't want to lose you guys..."
"I'm willing to take the chance." Chrysalis said.

Tirek put his hand to Chrysalis,

Cozy's sad eyes were impossible to ignore.

"If you're so concerned about losing, we'll let you sit this out. But my point still stands, we're handling this ourselves.

Chrysalis pointed the bel at herself.

*ring*

"Chrysalis you..." Tirek said.

Chaos Chrysalis

"I'm comiscly proportioned!" she exclaimed.

*ring*

Chrysalis returned to normal Ultimate Chrysalis.

"We can't absorb the magic, remember? Discord's chaos magic-"

"But, I just put Cozy's portion of Grogar's magic into here! Now we can't use it!?" Chrysalis asked, agitated.

"It would appear to be that way." Tirek answered. "You know, Discod's magic doesn't have to be a dead end, what if-"

"AAHH!" Chrysalis screamed

*RING*

Chrysalis pointed the bell upward, and a massive plume of magic expelled upwards.

"What did you just do?" Tirek asked.
"I ejected that Dipcord's chaos magic! No more bottle necks! No more blockades! All the magic in this bell is now mine!" Chrysalis exclaimed.
"And mine too, right?" Tirek asked.

Tirek looked at Ultimate Chrysalis, and the weak Cozy Glow, panting on the ground, then at his muscles. Is all the strength in the world worth it?

Chrysalis pointed the bell at herself, but despite ringing the bell, it's magic luster seemed to have come and gone.

*ring...*

Chrysalis opened one eye, and observed nothing came from the bell.

"It appears I ejected all of our magic..." Chrysalis said.
"Including the alicorn magic?" Tirek said.
"I just said, ALL THE MAGIC!" Chrysalis exclaimed.
"Well, why'd you do that?!" Tirek asked.
"Because I was TRYING to actually use the stupid magic we've acquired!" Chrysalis exclaimed, frustrated.
"Well great! Thanks to your reckless handling of the bell, we're no stronger than we were before, and we're out one of our own!" Tirek scolded.
"AAHHH!" Chrysalis screamed in frustration. "We just gave away all the magic we worked so hard to collect!"
"YOU just gave away all the magic we worked so hard to collect!" Tirek corrected her.
"Shut up!
"No, you shut up!"

Little weak Cozy Glow watched as they argued with each other.

*poof*

Discord appeared.

"Whoops..."

"I must thank you guys dearly for returning my magic to me." Discord said. "I see you never came to grips with the power of chaos magic."

"We had to eject it! Having your stupid chaos magic made any other magic we collected impossible to use for ourselves!" Tirek said.

"Hmm. Tirek. Did you ever think to lend my chaos magic to another creature, and then use your natural magic sucking ability to absorb said chaos magic? You already proved that doing it that way was no issue."

"Oh sh*t he's right. Why didn't we think of that?" Tirek said.

"Before I wanted Twilight to defeat you and have a satisfying end, but this has gone way out of hand, so I'm just going to clean up my own mess." Discord said.

"You three are in for a world of hurt." Discord said.

"No! Stop! Don't turn them into stone!" Cozy pleaded.

"Turn them into stone? Great idea!" Discord exclaimed.

"NO!" Cozy exclaimed.

*oof*

Cozy Glow flew up and whacked Discord's face.

"Stop it!"

Cozy Glow tried to fight against Discord.

Discord took his bear paw and pinned Cozy against the wall, clenching her body in his talons.

"AH!"

"STOP! I'm just a f-"

His talon was frizzling with lightning, as his spell activated.

"

Cozy turned to stone from the top down.

(I was going to have the other two kill Discord, but that wouldn't be received well)

"Absorb chaos magic directly? Great idea!"

*SAP*

Tirek ate Discord's chaos magic, and left him drained.

*BOOM*

Discord was sent flying away. But the damage was done.

"Cozy Glow..." Tirek said.

Cozy Glow had been turned to stone by Discord.

In a cruel twist of irony, by trying to save them all from being turned to stone, she was the only one in stone. (revise this sentence)

"Maybe there's a way. You have his magic, use it to unfreeze Cozy." Chrysalis said.

"Just because I have Discord's chaos magic.

"But Cozy inherited his attributes when she absorbed his magic.

"That's only if you use the bell to steal magic. With my abilities, it's neutralized into usable magic." Tirek explained.

"I hate these arbitrary rules..." Chrysalis said.

Tirek put his mouth to Cozy Glow, and attempted to flow some of his magic into her. His magic slowly flowed into the statue, but it seemed to have little effect.

"It didn't work.." he said.

Tirek took the yellow blanket Cozy had used to keep herself warm, and laid it over Cozy's stone body.

*sniff*

"They're still coming."

"If we run, then Cozy's loss is for nothing." Tirek said.

"Then let's fight to the end. Perhaps to win, we have to be a little dirtier. If you get close enough to Twilight, go for the neck." Chrysalis said.

Mane 6 and Spike walking.

"Canterlot..."

"Don't you think they would have seen us by now?" Rainbow Dash asked.

Portal opened.

Tirek and Chrysalis walked through. Tirek was carrying something wrapped in a yellow blanket around it.

*plunk* Tirek dropped the wrapped statue to the ground.

"Uh... what is that?" Twilight asked.

Rainbow Blast

Tirek and Chrysalis are defeated. (they are weakened. they have no more magic

"I'd call this a job well done!" Twilight said.

"Now that that's done, what say we-*WHACK*

The bell knocked itself against Twilight's face.

"OW!" she cried.

"Runaway bell!" Pinkie exclaimed.

*RING*

Indeed, the bell seemed to have a mind of its own!

"The bell still has Grogar's magic!"

*RING*

The bell rang above the Cozy Glow statue, and surrounded it with a bright magic orb.

Cozy's horn was the only part not turned to stone. The horn glowed, and projected an orb of light.

The mane 6 looked at it, nervous, but battle ready.

"Stand back." Twilight said, affirmative.

Cozy Glow's last stand.

"Heh HA HA HA HA HA!" a voice echoed.

"Cozy Glow?

"You're... you're...

"

"A projection spell!

"Yep. It's amazing just how much your school taught me. Really prepared me for the real world!" Cozy said.

Every creature in Equestria booed and hissed at the Cozy projection.

The dragons blew fire, while the yaks threw rocks.

"Thank you! Thank you! I love the roaring crowd!" Cozy said. "Let's wrap this up for good!"

"AAH!"

Cozy used her magic to push back every creature except for Twilight.

"Hey!" Twilight exclaimed.

"I'm pushing aside all non-magic users!" "This is between us two, Twilight!"

Every creature in Equestria

*MAGIC*

*SLAM*

Cozy created a magic dome that encapsulated herself and Twilight Sparkle.

"Twilight!

"Come on every creature! We have to help Twilight!" Ember exclaimed.

"YEAH!"

Every creature crowded around the magic dome. They pressed against the dome, attempting to break through, I guess...

Cozy showed fatigue as she struggled to keep the dome in tact.

Twilight saw the as Cozy struggled, the statue cracked.

"Well?" Twilight asked.

"Well what?" Cozy asked back.

"You have my attention. What do you want, Cozy Glow?" Twilight asked.

"I want you to SUFFER!"

*MAGIC*

"AH!"

*BAM*

*MAGIC*

Cozy fired a huge continuous beam of magic at Twilight. The massive blast pressed her against the dome

"AAHHH!" Twilight barely withstood the magic blast with her own magic to block it.

Twilight got out of the spell,

Back and forth combat between them.

"I've got to get that bell!" Twilight said.

"Oh, you want THIS TWILIGHT?" Cozy asked.

"I would like to*GASP*

*BAM* *SHATTER*

Cozy Glow destroyed the bewitching bell, and shattered it into a hundred pieces.

"That's right, Twilight! No more transfer of magic! I'm staying this way till I die!" Cozy exclaimed.

"Don't you just loathe me Twilight?!" Cozy asked.
"Yes!" Twilight replied.
"Don't you just hate me, Twilight?" Cozy asked.
"Hate's a strong word, but-"
"So you do!"
"I-

"I love how much you hate me. I think it's absolutely delightful you don't even stop to think about the fact you're fighting your favorite student." Cozy teased.

Twilight

"I mean, I don't care. I'm just surprised you don't care as well." Cozy said. "Princess of friendship? I think you're shaping up to be a very compassionate princess, judging by how you handle your final test of friendship!"

"Enough talk! Too much dialogue!" "Go ahead, Twilight, FINISH THE JOB!"

"FINE!" Twilight exclaimed.

As Twilight and Cozy's fight raged on, and

It was abuntantly clear.

The smaller the dome got, the more Cozy showed signs of fatique.

"NO!"

"Then I'll FINISH YOU!"

*MAGIC*

Twilight swiped away Cozy's magic blast.

"I see what you're doing, and i'm not going to entertain your fantasy!" Twilight exclaimed. "I won't fight you!"

"Okay, now you're REALLY MAKING ME MAD!" Cozy exclaimed. "FINE! I'LL HAVE TO SETTLE FOR A ONE SIDED FIGHT!"

"AAH!" Twilight cried in distress.

"The more I fight you, the more it hurts you! I don't want to kill you!"

"But you're content leaving me in stone for generations! MAKE UP YOUR MIND!"

"I wouldn't leave you in stone." Twilight said.

"You say that now, but it's a shame future you doesn't abide by your false sense of sympathy." Cozy said.

"What are you talking about?" Twilight asked.

*projection*

Cozy projected a view of the alternate timeline.

"Hahahaha." everypony and every creature laughed at Cozy in the statue. A completely humiliating defeat.

"But, I'm sure I wouldn't leave you there for long." Twilight said.

The projection went into fast forward. The sun and move raced in the sky, as months, years passed by. But despite all the time that passed, the statue stood in place. It was then that Twilight realized the severity of the punishment she would go on to bestow upon Cozy.

"It's funny how being a dictator does to your mind." Cozy said.

Twilight Sparkle was in awe,

"You can keeping going forward. I checked. There's no happy ending ahead for me." Cozy said.

The dome was shrinking.

"What are you doing?!"

Twilight used magic to make the Cozy's projection of the past go backwards.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!"

Flashback to Cozy's backstory.
"How was school, Cozy?"
"Fine...

"I don't have any friends."

"If you don't come back from school tomorrow with at least one friend, we will heavily consider sending you off to learn about friendship elsewhere."

"Tying them up and dragging them here doesn't count by the way!"

"You want me to make friends. *giggle* "I'll make friends. I'll have more friends than any other pony in Equest-*DOOR SLAM*

Cozy was fuming hot.

"Why didn't you just say so, Cozy?" Twilight asked.

"Simple. You never asked." Cozy replied.

"Cozy, I"Forget it! You didn't care back then, and you sure as heck won't care now!"

*ZAP*

"AAH!" Twilight cried.

"Since you're gonna die, I may as well say it."

"The truth is, is that it REALLY hurt when you sent me away to Tartarus so quickly after my first ever takeover attempt."

"Cozy, I didn't know..." Twilight said.

"You didn't realize that sending the filly to Tartarus would hurt her feelings? Some princess of friendship YOU TURNED OUT TO BE!" Cozy exclaimed.

*EEGHH*

As the pressure on the dome increased, and its size decreased, Cozy Glow was getting weaker, and the statue cracked more and more.

"YOU THOUGHT TARTARUS WAS AN APPROPRIATE PUNISHMENT FOR A FILLY!?"

"A filly who attempted to destroy all the magic!"

"Is that a yes? If you think I truly can't be redeemed, then I don't see why I should bother trying to earn your respect!"

*zap*

*oof*

"If I win, Equestria is mine. If you win, then you'll forever feel the guilt of my death."

"Or, a third option.

"What are you waiting for, Twilight? If I'm just some obstacle in the way of your coronation, then finish it!"

"You're not just some obstacle in my way. When you first invaded, I saw you as a force to be defeated. But now that you've explained everything, I know you're much more than that." Twilight said.

Twilight, wasn't going to let this happen.

The dome was so small, there was barely enough room for both of them.

"IF YOU THINK STONE IS WHERE I BELONG, THEN SKIP THE STONING PART, AND GET TO THE GORY BIT!" Cozy exclaimed.

"I won't grow to be a dictator. At least, now I know what to look out for."

"Well, secret's out. What are you going to do, Twilight?" Cozy asked.

"I..." Twilight was hesitant.

"FINISH THE JOB.

*huff* "You want me to kill you Cozy? I'll kill you, WITH KINDNESS!"

"NO, the most potent of weapons!"

"N-n-n-n-NO!

"DIE, TWILIGHT!"

Twilight withstood Cozy's most furious magic blast. She swiped it away.

"I thought you wanted to change the timeline, Cozy!" Twilight stated.

"I DO! Thing is, I wanted to change the outcome so that YOU LOSE! NOT SO I CAN JOIN YOU IN THE EVER GROWING CAST OF REFORMED BAD GUYS!"

"I'm trying so hard to kill you! WHY DO YOU INSIST ON HELPING?!" Cozy exclaimed.

"Because everypony deserves a second chance!" Twilight exclaimed.

"I'm not buying it!

Twilight walked forward.

*pop*

The dome popped, and every creature fell inward, and piled upon each other.

"What happened?" Rainbow asked.
"Did we win?" Pinkie asked.
"Any more threats?"
"Is it over?" Ember asked.
"Where's Twilight!?" Spike asked.

*sob*

Every creature was piled up together. And in the middle, Twilight Sparkle, held a little crying filly in her arms.

*sob*

"It's okay, Cozy Glow. I got you." Twilight said.

Twilight Sparkle held Cozy Glow in her arms, as she pressed her head against the princess, and cried her heart out.

*sob* "Please don't tell any pony about this. Please keep it a secret."
"Well...

Twilight looked around, she was literally surrounded by every creature in Equestria.

"Sorry, Cozy, but every creature already knows." Twilight said.

"What do you want, Cozy Glow?

*sniff* "You can start by unfreezing my friends..." she replied.
