  1. An amalgamation of Wyrd and stone.
  2. The shadowy outline of a twisted forest casts a dark gloom here. The cold stillness of the bleak stone platform is strangely in concert with the encroaching plant life here. At every crack and seam in the iron hued rock, shoots of verdant vine and leaf erupt in verdant bursts of multihued green and purple growth. The stone has shifted here, giving way for the foliage in such a manner that the platform remains, if overgrown, fully intact. Vines snake along the short half-wall which serves as barrier between solid ground and the staggering emptiness beyond it, tendrils closely clinging to the stone as roots take hold. Many of the plants are budding or in bloom, with hearty looking flowers in deep shades of indigo and pink in evidence that give off a faintly sweet scent, like decay. There are 2 muted slaughs here.
  3. You see exits leading northeast, southeast, and southwest.
  4.
  5. A muted slaugh looks you over coldly before turning her gaze elsewhere.
  6.
  7. An eerie silence settles across the floating realm as it sails through the inky darkness of the night.
  8.
  9. Faintly buzzing, you whisper, "Sorry."
  10.
  11. You crease your brow in a frown.
  12.
  13. Her covered face held high, a muted slaugh continues off to the southwest.
  14.
  15. You have emoted: Gurashi looks up, scanning the skies above closely.
  16.
  17. Faintly buzzing, you whisper, "Everything ... LOOKS fine..."
  18.
  19. You have emoted: Gurashi looks this way, then that, increasingly nervous.
  20.
  21. Faintly buzzing, you whisper, "Can tell Lady Rancoura looks O-K ...er, no worse for wear, least."
  22.
  23. Bizirik, the leothin snorts.
  24.
  25. **Running around trying to find way out WHERE IS THE EXIT**
  26.
  27. You flail about helplessly.
  28.
  29. The Sacrifice.
  30. The shadowy outline of a twisted forest casts a dark gloom here. The broad basalt staircase rises up from the northwest, meeting the long stone chamber here. On either side of it, thick green vines entwine to serve as banisters, lesser tendrils splaying out to root them to the walls, craggy and broken here at the entryway. The foliage creeps in from below at other points as well. Dark ferns, fronds veined with deep purple fan out across the floor and the spiralling stems of some flowering plant droop overhead, dotted with vivid fuscia blooms. A solid band of onyx threads the walls here, encircling the cavernous room entirely as if bisecting it, and acting as halting point for the wild growth which encroaches no further. Just past this line a creeping rose bush has been planted, pristine blooms of deepest indigo nestled amidst the ebon threaded leaves, the plant stretching overhead to form an elegant bower.
  31. You see exits leading southeast and down.
  32.
  33. Faint whispers linger in the air around you, suddenly interrupted by the crash of platforms collapsing onto the temple.
  34.
  35. You have emoted: Gurashi jumps at the sound of the collapsing platform, nearly leaping off the edge of the platform in response. He skitters back towards the middle of the aisle, antennae trembling.
  36.
  37. You think to yourself: ... is NOT fine.
  38.
  39. You think to yourself: Is definitely not fine...!!
  40.
  41. You have emoted: Gurashi clasps a hand on his chest, stilling his heart.
  42.
  43. **more frantic running WHeRE is ThE EXIT**
  44.
  45. A voice whispers in your ear, soft and flat in tone, "Enjoying My realm, little one?"
  46.
  47. You have emoted: Panic visibly appears on Gurashi's face as he scrambles around. "Uh--" He whips around, looking for the source of the voice.
  48.
  49. Buzzing loudly, you say, "N... mean - a-a-am sorry for entering b-but did not know what else to do...! S-so thought would come see if was ... in..."
  50.
  51. Bizirik, the leothin snorts.
  52.
  53. The temple shakes, glimmering dust dropping down from the ceiling above.
  54.
  55. You have emoted: Gurashi looks up towards the ceiling again. "...t-thought, if could see how was doing... then, could tell Lady Rancoura, when see next..."
  56.
  57. Bizirik's head begins to droop. It opens its great maw and curls back its lips to allow its forked tongue to unfurl as it yawns before snapping its mouth shut.
  58.
  59. "For Rancoura? Why?"
  60.
  61. Doing his best to calm himself, you say, "Well, and for Esei... they aren't awake... and, do not know if are coming and checking and..."
  62.
  63. You have emoted: Gurashi clenches his hands into fists. "Uhm." He bunches his shoulders. "Did... not know how else to help."
  64.
  65. Looking up into the darkness, you say, "Many ... apologies."
  66.
  67. Another tremor shakes the temple, the sound of collapsing stone echoing from deeper within, "Why do you wish to help?", the voice asks once all falls still once more.
  68.
  69. You have emoted: Gurashi's legs shake, though it's unsure if it's from the trembling of the temple or from his growing anxiety. Almost dumbfounded, he replies: "Because, am worried?"
  70.
  71. Voice wavering, you say, "B-because, cannot imagine what feels like, and..."
  72.
  73. You think to yourself: Ishra -adored- You.
  74.
  75. Insistently, you say, "Are... important to Glomdoring - and, Glomdoring is also important to me...!"
  76.
  77. You have emoted: Gurashi falls quiet again, antennae twitching this way and that.
  78.
  79. You think to yourself: Is ...a coincidence.
  80.
  81. An overpowering floral fragrance fills the air as the voice whispers from just behind you, "Why is the Glomdoring important to you...?"
  82.
  83. You have emoted: Gurashi blinks, looking too frightened to turn. Beside him, Bizirik lolls its head back, tail slapping the ground happily.
  84.
  85. You have emoted: Gurashi lifts his head, starting to turn and look but stopping himself. "...mean, is my home," He explains quietly. "Is... what helped free me from Hives, is why can..." He trails off a bit, "be."
  86.
  87. Bizirik, the leothin continues to stare at the space behind Gurashi, tail eagerly slapping the ground and nostrils flaring at the familiar, once-kind-to-it presence.
  88.
  89. The air cools as the voice whispers, "And yet you tremble when I only ask you questions. And yet..." You feel a hand on your shoulder, the voices words punctuated by each finger coming down to grip it, "I sense conflict within you still. Doubts. And questions."
  90.
  91. You have emoted: Gurashi blinks, finally turning his head enough to look at the hand upon his shoulder.
  92.
  93. You have emoted: Gurashi clears his throat, letting loose a nervous whistling cicada sound. The noise echoes throughout the abyss louder than intended, and he flinches as a result.
  94.
  95. Nothing is there, though the floral scent remains overpowering.
  96.
  97. You have emoted: Gurashi stares at his bare shoulder. "...uhm, a-am sorry," He tries to explain, "Is n-nothing personal against You! Have not..." His voice wavers in volume, "uhm - many apologies."
  98.
  99. You think to yourself: Doubts...?
  100.
  101. You think to yourself: ....questions?
  102.
  103. After a terrible pause, you whisper, "...conflict...?"
  104.
  105. "Do you disagree, little one?"
  106.
  107. You have emoted: Gurashi's mandibles click against his face. Another pause, then finally, "...does, answering this question count as conflict, because am conflicted about it?"
  108.
  109. You have emoted: Gurashi immediately grimaces after he speaks. "M-many apologies - words came out wrong. Uhm."
  110.
  111. Weakly, you say, "Don't ... know. Just - care most, about Glomdoring and the peoples and things OF Glomdoring..."
  112.
  113. You think to yourself: Am sure of this...
  114.
  115. You crease your brow in a frown.
  116.
  117. The hand releases your shoulder, patting it once as the voice whispers softly, "I see... I am pleased to hear it, little one."
  118.
  119. You have emoted: Gurashi stares at the idol before him, visibly relaxing. "...Lady Rancoura, and, ehm, Esei - they..."
  120.
  121. "When the time comes, I look forward to seeing how you make her hurt for the crimes against us."
  122.
  123. Faintly buzzing, you whisper, "They keep seeing... things - weird... things that are and are-not - things that give them visions. Things..."
  124.
  125. You have emoted: Gurashi trails off, lifting his head in surprise.
  126.
  127. You think to yourself: ...hurt?
  128.
  129. You think to yourself: Her?
  130.
  131. You think to yourself: Who is her - wait.
  132.
  133. You have emoted: Gurashi suddenly turns, confused.
  134.
  135. You think to yourself: Lord Silence....?
  136.
  137. You think to yourself: Is a coincidence ...
  138.
  139. The voice whispers, "Yes, little one?"
  140.
  141. You have emoted: Gurashi stares at the space before him now. The fear is unmasked upon his face. "...who?"
  142.
  143. You think to yourself: No no no ask about the thing... the... thing-not-thing.
  144.
  145. A strange tone creeps into the soft voice - exasperation? Amusement? Pain? "Hmm? Do My words confuse you?"
  146.
  147. Blankly, you say, "...lots of things confuse me."
  148.
  149. Faintly buzzing, you say, "But..."
  150.
  151. You have emoted: Gurashi shakes his head quickly. "Lady Rancoura and Esei are of Your order, and they keep having visions from that thing-not-thing, but me - w-why did it come to me?" He says suddenly, all at once. "Lady Rancoura says is because have ties to You, but - h-have no more ties than anyone -else- in Glomdoring."
  152.
  153. Faintly buzzing, you say, "Er... MAY... have, stronger ties to, than..."
  154.
  155. You have emoted: Gurashi looks confused, reaching up and clasping his hands over his face in frustration.
  156.
  157. The favour of Viravain has worn off, gifting you with increased essence.
  158.
  159. Faintly buzzing, you ask, "Is coincidence ... right?"
  160.
  161. "Perhaps they were attracted to the many, many thoughts in your head. A link to Me may prove a powerful lure, but not the only one..."
  162.
  163. Softly, you ask, "Many thoughts...?"
  164.
  165. Faintly buzzing, you ask, "Why do they ... want more thoughts...?"
  166.
  167. You think to yourself: Do not think that much...
  168.
  169. You think to yourself: ....do I?
  170.
  171. You think to yourself: ...maybe..
  172.
  173. Softly, the voice whispers, "You are o so full of thoughts, little one. Thoughts like the question you do not want to ask... the question you fear the answer to."
  174.
  175. You have emoted: Gurashi stares into the surrounding darkness, a shudder passing through him. He looks torn, before asking quietly, "...but why?"
  176.
  177. You think to yourself: The question... that fear answer to...
  178.
  179. You have emoted: Gurashi flinches at the thought, as if having some realization.
  180.
  181. "Because that is what's required, little one", the voice replies matter-of-factly.
  182.
  183. Faintly buzzing, you say, "...required - by, them? Or..."
  184.
  185. In awe, you ask, "By You...?"
  186.
  187. Eyes wider still, you say, "....or Both."
  188.
  189. You think to yourself: ...ask.
  190.
  191. You think to yourself: Ask...!
  192.
  193. Bizirik, the leothin rises to stand, shaking itself out, wings flapping as it turns and circles Gurashi, thrumming softly.
  194.
  195. "You know the answer, Gurashi An'Ryshe."
  196.
  197. Startled first by Bizirik, then by the response, you ask, "W-who is... her?"
  198.
  199. "And it is a simple one to accept if you remember one simple fact - Nothing matters but the Glomdoring."
  200.
  201. You have emoted: Gurashi frowns, mandibles clicking anxiously.
  202.
  203. You think to yourself: ...Nothing matters but... but Glomdoring...
  204.
  205. You have emoted: Gurashi continues to stare intensely into the emptiness around him, clasping his hands together to calm his nervous limbs.
  206.
  207. No longer voice, but more a clear command in your thoughts - "Nothing matters but Glomdoring."
  208.
  209. Weakly, you say, "N-nothing matters but Glomdoring...!"
  210.
  211. The floor shifts underneath you as something rumbles in the distance, and you feel the presence leave you.
  212.
  213. You have emoted: Gurashi shifts a bit, waiting several moments, before calling out, "Who is her?!"
  214.
  215. You have emoted: Gurashi clutches his hands near his chest, antennae slowly sinking.
  216.
  217. You think to yourself: ...also where is exit.
  218.
  219. You think to yourself: How can... help...
  220.
  221. "You know, little one."
  222.
  223. You stare blankly into space.
  224.
  225. You think to yourself: ...no do not know where the ex-- oh.
  226.
  227. Pools of black waters.
  228. The shadowy outline of a twisted forest casts a dark gloom here. Air blows across the mouth of the cavern here to cast a strange sibilant hiss, the low tone reverberating in the crystal flecked walls that they seem to thrum with life. A short stair leads down to an icy black pool, the depths of which are indiscernible. It seems to cast its coldness throughout the cavern as a fire casts warmth, and upon its mirrored surface flashes of light sparkle, golden flashes reflected from above. The cavern roof is mica, crackled and sparkling. Natural light flows through layer over layer of the thin, glassy crystal to cast a smoky bronze glow throughout the cavern. Breaks and natural fractures in the fragile roof leave bands of shadow cast across the floor and walls in irregular, static patterns. The dull hum seems to resonate the discord of this place. The warm glow from above and the chill from the pool, the closeness of the cavern and the sense of vast emptiness beyond mark this spot as the cusp of two worlds. Surrounded by glistening shards of crystal, a pool of icy black water is here.
  229. You see exits leading north, south, and through a pool of icy black water.
  230. You are transported by the power of the Divine.
  231.
  232. You blink.
  233.
  234. You have emoted: Gurashi staggers as he arrives at the pool, quickly gasping and turning to look for his leothin. He starts to raise his fingers to his mouth to whistle, then thinks better of it, looking instead up towards the inky blackness around.
  235.
  236. Faintly buzzing, you whisper, "T...thank you..."
  237.
  238. You think to yourself: Her...
  239.
  240. With a stiff, apologetic bow, you whisper, "Am sorry for intruding Mister Lord Silence."
  241.
  242. Beneath ancient relics.
  243. Large wyrden roots have broken through the walls of this underground cavern, slowly expanding around its circumference. Broken bits of stone litter the ground, sparsely broken by the remains of several statues overtaken by vines. Veins of amethyst run overhead, glimmering faintly in the dim light. The entire wall along the back is covered by shattered pillars and a mammoth archway that stand guard over the ancient ruin. An ancient archway of cracked stone sits here, overrun with wyrden growth. The heady scent of Wyrden foliage surrounds a shrine of pitch black crystal that stands here. A mature sheep stands here looking bored and boring.
  244. You see exits leading up and through an ancient archway of cracked stone.
  245.
  246. You have emoted: Gurashi steps through the archway, lifting his head to inhale fresh, Basin air.... before buckling over and hugging himself tight, wings twitching stiffly against his back.
  247.
  248. You think to yourself: Am going ... to vomit ....
  249.
  250. You think to yourself: ....not on Lord Silence's archway.
  251.
  252. Faintly buzzing, you whisper, "Bizi.."
  253.
  254. You think to yourself: My thoughts...?
  255.
  256. You have emoted: Gurashi quickly raises his hands, greeting the leothin as it enters with a tight embrace. He strokes the skin on the leothin's face back with a frown. "Am sorry," he whispers, shaking his head. "Did not mean to leave behind. Are O-K?"
  257.
  258. Bizirik, the leothin snorts, staring blanky in response. Its tail rises and slaps the ground once.
  259.
  260. You have emoted: Gurashi frowns, staring at the leothin before reaching out and embracing the creature with a sigh, shoulders sagging.
  261.
  262. The wind whistles eerily through the branches overhead.
  263.
  264. You think to yourself: ...does mean ...
  265.
  266. You have emoted: Gurashi's eyes open, and he slowly releases Bizirik, staring at the leothin intensely.
  267.
  268. Almost afraid to say it, you ask Bizirik, the leothin, "... Miss Lief...?"
  269.
  270. You think to yourself: But she is just a persons. Are other way worse persons.
  271.
  272. You peer about yourself unscrupulously.
  273.
  274. You have emoted: Gurashi stands up straight finally, swaying on his feet.
  275.
  276. You think to yourself: My thoughts....
