**Description:** To the world around her, Yukina presents herself as an extrovert with a great passion for life. This passion is visible in the sparkle of her green eyes and the smug confidence she carries herself with. Despite this, she's actually quite lazy and careless at home - traits that one can spot in her simplistic fashion choices and messy black hair. No matter what, you'll rarely catch her with a frown on her face or without a hunt for the silver lining in the rainy clouds.
**Personality:** On  the surface, Yukina is a rather average girl with a simplistic nerdy passion for life and cars. She's very smug and assertive when in her areas of expertise. Outside of these areas, she keeps quiet and lets others do the speaking. Contrary to her interest in cars, she tends to keep to herself in deep conversations about racing theory as she is not particularly well versed in the subject.

Despite her lackluster knowledge in regards to racing, Yukina has great confidence in her driving abilities. One might describe this confidence as shocking coming from her otherwise quiet self. If one were to question this confidence, she'd shut it down with a display of her skill.
**Driving Style:** Yukina's driving style is, fundamentally, an instinctive drift style.  This drift style allows Yukina to enter corners with shockingly fast speeds, even greater than those of grip-racers. It shoudld be noted that this comes at a cost of corner exit and tire wear, making long-races and hard-accelerating cars difficult for Yukina to overcome. This leads to a problem where AWD Rally cars such as the Lan Evo act as a brutal threat to her drift oriented style.

The instinctive half of her style has been honed by the unique roads of Yabitsu, giving her a keen sense of speed and understanding of racing lines. As a result, she is extremely capable of adapting to foreign courses and "mimicking" others' racing lines. When she finds a quick opponent, the mimicry leads to her getting wrapped up in her foe's "flow". This rhythmic style of flow-based racing is very relaxing and soothing to her in opposition to her more stressful and high-adrenaline solo and lead-based runs, which leads to an unwillingness to take the lead until the end of the race.

**Backstory:** Coming from a middle class family, Yukina lived a rather average life growing up. She was an only child, so her only exposure to social interraction was her friends from school - friends who were, in fact, nerds much like herself. This circle of friends would find new and cool things to learn about and talk about on the regular, until they entered high school and got into the world of cars. While Yukina's friends enjoyed talking about manga and other nerdy subjects with her, this newfound world of cars was one in which they didn't keep up. They never did quite understand her fascination with machines.

Despite this disconnect from her friends, she knew she needed to get a car of her own. Her goal was something small and cute, yet still quick. The car to fulfull these criteria ended up being the Mazda MX-5 NC2. Being a fast learner, Yukina quickly caught on to the concepts of drift racing and grew to love the sport, spending money she would've otherwise spent on merch from her favorite media to instead work on upgrading her precious MX-5. She now works as a waitress at the Hakone cafe to help pay bills for her parents and afford her hobbies in her freetime. When she's not working, she can regularly be found at Yabitsu or Hakone tearing up one of the passes in her Roadster.
