DSWD Assistance

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) provides various forms of assistance to Filipinos in need. These may include:

Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps): A conditional cash transfer program aimed at providing financial assistance to the poorest of the poor, especially in terms of health, nutrition, and education.

Disaster Relief and Rehabilitation: DSWD provides assistance during disasters such as typhoons, earthquakes, and other calamities. This includes relief goods, shelter, and livelihood assistance for affected families.

Social Pension for Indigent Senior Citizens: Financial assistance given to indigent senior citizens to augment their daily subsistence and other medical needs.

Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situations (AICS): Provides financial assistance to individuals and families in crisis situations such as medical emergencies, burial assistance, and transportation assistance for medical referrals.

Recovery and Reintegration Program for Trafficked Persons: Support services for victims of human trafficking, including shelter, psychosocial support, and livelihood assistance.

Livelihood Assistance Grants: Provides support to individuals and families to start or sustain livelihood activities, particularly for those living below the poverty line.
