Fixing leg

[09:33:39] Magnus Brakkacia: We can do it here.

[09:38:46] Magnus Brakkacia: Sure. <*He waves his hand and the wooden floor raises up to form a long, contoured slab of wood for Kyrian to sit on*>

[09:54:08] As the floor would seem to raise towards Magnus's commands. Kyrian couldn't help but ask him.

"What kind of magic do you know to do such a thing?" he said outloud as he sat down on it. He would then pull back up the leg of his pant to reveal his metal limb.

 "It's nature magic. The floor is made of wood. It might be dead right now but with the right mana flowing into it it sprouts again. You can never really kill off plants, not without complete destruction. Especially wood. The stuff just needs a bit of water and a bit of life to start back up." He made another seat for himself and began to examine the prosthetic leg. It didn't seem to be in great condition though that could easily be fixed. Well, not really easily, but simply.

"So then, time for me to ask you a question. Who made this for you? It'd be nice to learn their techniques, they've got some interesting stuff going on down here." He began to gently clean off the metal, with water for now, he wanted to make sure that Kyrian was alright with doing more than that before proceeding. "Anyway, why don't you tell me about anything that's wrong with it? It should be an easy enough fix."

 As he sat back he looked upon his leg as he listened to Magnus talk.

"Nature magic huh. . . ." he said silently to himself as he watched Magnus analyze his leg

"Rene. Rene had made it for him. The last time that I saw him was in Danarium, so you might want to look around there. Or. . . If your fond of Nostvale" he said with a chuckle at the end. Then he would continue to reply to Magnus's last question.

"It's uhh. damaged as you can tell. Each time I've encountered something that seemed to be hostile. I kinda kicked it's face in with this very leg. Heheh. It's been a while since I've actually had two legs so. . . "

Magnus couldn't help but laugh. "Rene, huh? Heh, I may need to go speak to him again someday then. I never expected him to overtake me in some areas. He's an old friend of mine. We travelled the world together years ago. Nostvale you say? I should go and meet him sometime soon then." Anyway, enough about the past, time to get to work on this scraggy mess of a leg.

There was dirt, muck and even blood trapped in the far corners of it. "I'm no metal mage, but I can tune it up so you can take it to someone who can reforge some of the metal for you." He held his hand over it and a fine mist began to spray out. The metal began to sizzle slightly as the mist engulfed it. The outer layers of the metal was being slightly stripped away. He made sure to avoid the area with the runes on it, it would be best not to tamper with that.

He created a stream of water and began to wash the metal off again. Now that the metal itself was shiny and unscathed he could have a proper look at the mechanisms. The joints seemed a little still so he loosed them up a little, applying some rather serious lubricant to it. This stuff wouldn't wear or wash away easily and would likely stick around for at least a year.

"Right, that's probably the most I can do for now. It'll need some replacement metal, hopefully something better than the stuff its made out of. Should be easy enough to replace. Rene would know how to do it properly. In the meantime I need to look at where its been attached. Gotta make sure its not causing you any problems there."

"Ahh you know Rene aswell? Well it's good to know that he has such a good friend."

He said as he continued to look at what Magnus was doing.
"That would be awesome!" he repiled

And only a heartbeat later would mist soon transform from his metal leg. Which seemed to have peeled away some of the layers of the metal, but he felt that the mana flowing within wasn't troubled with at all. Which made him feel all the more safer with his leg in Magnus's hands.

The water would once again be washed against his metal plating. Then some more series of stuff before Magus would speak again. Which he responed with as he pointed to his lower thigh.

"Well you see, My entire leg was eaten off by those half human half yokai things. So he built in a metal like thigh for me aswell, before attaching the knee part in, then the leg into the knee section. Thats about all I remember from the operation really. hehe." he said as he looked towards Magnus.

"Thank you for doing this by the way. I appreciate it!"
