      ¤ nayoung's childhood was fairly simple, raised by a mother and father who allowed her freedom to choose the path she wanted to follow. because of her freedom, even though it had its limits she was able to learn who she was and what she wantdd to be. even though her family was part of the upper-middle class, nayoung was raised to be humble and modest.
      ¤ she discovered her love and talent for singing at the age of 13, when her friend dared her to sing at a karaoke bar in front of a group of friends. it surprised her when everything went smoothly, receiving a loud applause and multiple suggestions to audition for a company. she took this seriously and, along with her already present love for dancing that started when she was five, auditioned for bighit ent. to her happiness, she was accepted and put under their training program.

      ¤ perservering - she is a huge perfectionist. she won't ever settle for being just 'good'. if she has to, she will practice for more than the specified/recommended time.
      ¤ groggy/tired - nayoung's hard practices almost always lead to her overworking herself, causing her to be fatigued most of the time.
      ¤ insecure - she's hard on herself. always thinking that she can be better and that she should be. though she hides her insecurities by being positive and cheering/encouraging her members.
      ¤ impatient - she's a person who knows what she wants and when she wants it. her impatience sometimes causes tension, since she also has a quick temper, but she will always apologize in the end.
