  1. Glitches/errors that I have stumbled upon:
  2. 1. Upon pressing 1 to equip the machine gun, my character's mesh distorted, launching my arms and upper body forward briefly. No physics applied.
  3. 2. Upon sprinting across user created blocks, I have on numerous occasions gotten my foot to go through the geometry and cause my character to fall over.
  4. 3. Upon having multiple creatures on the field, the sound of my machine gun no longer worked, as the maximum number of sounds was reached it seems.
  5. 4. On numerous occasions, creatures have spawned partially inside the world geometry, making them completely sedentary. They are in some cases even immune to damage until the terrain is reshaped enough to allow their hitbox to be visible.
  6. 5. If I alt+tab out of the window, then return, my mouse cursor is still visible until I enter and exit the menu (windowed mode)
  7. 6. If I alter the terrain under a tree, the tree is completely unaffected, meaning I can have floating trees everywhere.
  8.
  9. Problems which cause a severe hindrance:
  10. 1. Climbing structures is nearly impossible because momentum is required to move in the air, and running then jumping onto platforms more often than not causes the player to hit the box and be unsuccessful in their attempt to get on top.
  11. 2. The menu for making objects is extremely confusing and muddled. While it is creative, using the same type of thing Dead Space did, it does not work as well as I'd hoped. A more universal menu, maybe one which works similar to the escape menu, but for blocks, would be more effective. Also recommend a universal delete button instead of block.
  12. 3. Jumping is almost completely inconsistent. One jump will be a couple centimeters, the next will rocket me up to near treetop levels. This seems to be completely independent of my momentum and how long I hold the jump button.
  13. 4. There is a lot of visual lag, causing the game to feel very stiff and slippery. Recommend making the mouse directly turn the character, rather than the current delay it has, simply to make things less frustrating. Sure, it will make it less graphically appealing in that the characters won't turn as fluidly from an external perspective, but the trade-off is worth it in my opinion.
  14. 5. While placing blocks on the ground floor, it is extremely difficult to manage placing them effectively. Recommend moving the placement outline to the actual ground floor, rather than the top potential space of a block.
  15. 6. Turrets will fire at things continuously even if they are unable to see or reach target. This causes most turrets to be rendered ineffective if even ONE enemy is hidden behind a tree, and they decide to lock onto that one. Recommend using line of sight for turret aiming.
  16.
  17. Miscellaneous recommendations:
  18. 1. Increased air control if the character has not been thrown. Being able to jump and then move forward slightly to get onto a block directly in front of the player is invaluable.
  19. 2. Recommend a better menu for block selection.
  20. 3. Recommend spawning enemies slightly above the ground to prevent them from getting trapped in the world geometry upon spawning.
  21. 4. Recommend making the mouse controls less laggy. Make direct mouse movement controls.
  22. 5. Recommend adding a roll function to character. I.E. I am launched by a rocket, and upon impact, I press this roll button to control my impact and recover faster.
  23. 6. Recommend making block placement and removal simpler through a better menu system and a universal block delete button.
  24. 7. Recommend an "editor mode" where player is unaffected by gravity, and can simply move around in three dimensions for building of bases and bunkers (at least in sandbox mode)
