  1. King character notes:
  2. Bastard
  3. Kinda ugly, more or less from a design point, but work to make that appealing.
  4. Grew up fighting, loves to fight
  5. King is not too intelligent, he can be very thick-headed, but he is a brilliant fighter.
  6. Can be distracted easily, easily procrastinates, wastes time
  7. Incredibly powerful, years of fighting, getting beaten up, and becoming stronger have led to incredible fighting speed, prowess, strength, and durability.
  8. For the most part, is more or less for himself, but at times he will feel sympathetic towards others, especially others he feels he can relate to.
  9. Shares characters traits to hot headed, prideful, ambitious, proud characters (kuwabara, vegeta, raoh)
  10. Is up for challenges, as is willing to struggle to overcome such challenges if it seems worth it to him
  11. King has made mistakes in his past and has lived to deal with those mistakes, his main philosophy is to accept what has happened and move on.
  12. Loves leisure, drinking, eating, smoking, gambling, which is his main motivation for becoming a bounty hunter or arena fighter, to make money and continue feeding into these activities. In general, money is the motivating factor because they open the avenue to these other things, so King values working and earning money to reach these ideals, but he’d rather do something he’s good at to make the most money with the least time/effort as possible (although usually he ends up working quite hard and getting quite beat up trying to catch a bounty or something)
  13. King can be extremely lazy, but when he needs to, he’s willing to put in the work and effort he needs to accomplish a task/goal/dream. If he’s demanded by the supporting character to train, he is committed to training, whether he likes it or not.
  14. In general, King is somewhat of an anti-hero. He doesn’t have all the traits to be considered a “good guy”, but for the most part he can be a reliable ally, although his intentions are usually fueled by something to gain from it, or for his own interests. but he’s never one to betray someone whose trust he has, and for the most part has loyalties for those who are loyal to him (especially his friends/partners/gang)
  15. King is somewhat selfish in that his motivations are all mostly self-gain for status and/or wealth, he values strength and power and if there’s a way to prove himself he’ll take it, this can usually result in misunderstanding the gravity of a situation or engaging in a fight with someone who might be more powerful than him.
  16. King can have somewhat of a short-temper, although most of the time King isn’t too angry and more so heated, itch’n for battle, anger often fuels his power, which can result into him going into the enraged state: Red Rage, a powerful form where much critical thinking and consciousness is gone, but speed/durability/resistance/strength are increased 10-fold, making an unstoppable/immovable object of the wielder, a byproduct of dark influences from his race’s past.
  17. Since King was young, he has always valued strength and being strong, always looking up to his father, being chieftain, and renown strongest in his village, he always looked up to the ideals his father had set.
  18. King’s mother died when he was young, after the birth of his younger brother, although this moment was his first experience with loss, and a contempt for his younger brother, as he got older he began to move on, and grew a tight bond with his younger brother in the process, seeing that he could learn from these understandings and grow from them.
  19. After his mother’s death, King was determined to become stronger, asking his father for help. King’s father obviously agreed, being the strongest in the village, he put King through rigorous training, and a few years later his younger brother joined along, constantly sparring and pushing his strength and stamina to its limits. For a special training session, King’s father left his children in the wilderness, to fend for themselves for 3 months. This experience is what helped King and his brother grow their bond, and ultimately learn how to be independent and survive with only their strength and wits (King is the strength, Kyle is the wit, they each compliment each other and without the other they would both be helpless)
  20. To decide the successor to king’s father, strong individuals battle in a tournament, the last one standing is determined strongest in the village. If there is someone who claims they are stronger than them, they are then encouraged to challenge said nominee to an honor duel, a 1-on-1 public display where the combatants utilize their skills/strength, until one is unable to fight, the victor is free to execute the other if he/she so chooses.
  21. King’s excellence in battle comes from his innate ability to constantly improve while fighting, instead of slowing down and becoming fatigued as a battle is prolonged, he continues to adapt and even become faster/hit harder. Which is one of King’s strongest traits when combating difficult to face foes. When the chips are down, King knows to go all out, and often struggles to exceed his limits when pushed to the edge.
