Kamigaflamy 1.5: Chain of Memories

Nouveau Archaides - A city lying on the coast of California. A new hub for ideas, people, and commerce. It is no small secret that there are many benefactors interested in the continued prosperity and development of Nouveau Arcades. Indeed, even for this otherwise insignificant city, a number of important figures have taken residence or otherwise established businesses here- Whether for new business ventures, or simply to meet new people.
* The philanthropist Alba Renatus, well-known for promoting and funding organizations related to children's health.
* Sumire A. Blackeagle, West Coast representative of popular clothing company Schwarze Adler-wear, a subsidiary of worldwide freight and transportation conglomerate Black Eagle Group.
* Gordio Linnaeus, traveling reverend and former pastor at St. Peter Martyr Church, currently presiding over sermons at the St. Anne's Academy for Fine Young Ladies.
* Edward C., famed author and poet. Has allegedly taken a break from penning new books in order to "take in life once more".

The true secret, of course, lies in the nature of the game they play: Beneath the surface of the city, under the nose of modern society, lies a powerful and intricate network of ley lines that spread all through Nouveau Archades, sites where Spirit Energy gathers most, attracting the supernatural. The investors each seek to acquire influence and power over the city, and they contest one another through solving the various 'incidents' that plague the city- When Awakened, whether Aramitama, Mononoke, or Godhunter, seek to tip the balance, and tear open the peace. Of course, with the size of this city, and how little they can tip their own hands, some do slip through the cracks.

This story is about the new generation of Godhunters that start their journey at the dawn of these turbulent times, who protect the city from those threats not handled by any faction in particular.

- Devil May Care, a private detective agency that seems to struggle to pay its bills, despite having a neon strip club sign on its storefront. It's run by "Devil Hunter" Leonardo Kendrick. Category 1.
- Ezra Linnaeus. A young man who unquestioningly serves as Gordio Linnaeus's personal assistant. Often seen hanging around Sundown Park. Category 2.
- Randall Howard. A courier that seems to be everywhere you go, always on the move. Despite usually having a package or envelope or mail to deliver, he seems ever willing to help you out with a math problem or your cat. Category 2.
- Saria Love. A classmate of yours and a fellow Godhunter who incidentally seems to be holding a bit of baggage behind her name and why she refuses to fight alongside you. Category 1.
- Fleurdesel Caramelir. A university student that has traveled abroad to study environmental science. Category 2.
- Sheena Chevalier. A bartender that seems to get a lot of talk from both locals and Godhunters alike. Category 2.
- Kazue Fujiwara. A young woman frequently found tending to the gardens at Sundown Park. You're not really sure what her job is, but she frequently gives encrypted messages through haikus to you, which sometimes involve reputable information from her "lord". Category 2.
- Celine Suzuki. Secretary working under Alba Renatus. Stern, clinical, but perhaps a bit too personal. Category 2.
- Naomi Suzuki. Celine's son, and working at a maid cafe, but it's secretly a front for Schwarze's operations. Category 2.

Category 1: Totally clueless about the inter-faction politics or only barely aware that they exist.
Category 2: In the know of what's REALLY going on, but either powerless to stop it, or too deep in the system to do much about it.
Category 3: They are in the system. They are the problem. They propagate the problem.
