Q4 2016 Plans

Future Plans (from October 2016)

Okay, so we seem to be making steady progress toward the things I said I wanted to be able to do on my stream, and I would be remiss not to mention Youkai420 by name; he has mostly paid singlehandedly for the dance pad, and has bought most of the higher-up items on my Amazon wish list.  Let's review progress since the last time I made a plans pastebin, and see how plans for the future compare to where I thought/hoped I'd be.

Plans changed drastically due to the new window, and money was wasted on pool- and camp-going supplies I had it in good faith would see usage.  These things ended up sitting in my closet for next year (so at least now I've got them).  I did get the mechanical keyboard; I'm typing on that right now.  The incentive for World 2 Blindfolded was also met, so I did that on the 21st.  I'd say aside from the inability to go to camp, this month went well.

September was a month of significant progress, aside from not being able to English-patch MH3P (I have the game iso, but it's in Japanese, and I haven't managed to find a way to patch it).  However, it was somewhat replaced these last 2 months by Xenogears, which I've made fair progress on for the few days I've chosen to play it.

I also managed to acquire Trauma Team; I put it on my SD card.  So, through the Homebrew Channel, I did exactly as planned and hoped: I did a casual playthrough of Trauma Team.  It was very fun; I liked it quite a bit.

Youkai also showed up and started gifting half my wish list, as well as making notable donations toward the dance pad, which earned worlds 3 and 4 of Mario 3 Blindfolded; both these incentives were delivered on successfully.

Current Situation

The dance pad incentive is nearly met, and in effect, we are working on World 5 Blindfolded.  Advancement is way ahead of where I originally thought I'd be (which is much appreciated).

The Mario 3 poster has arrived and is visible on my wall in my streams, and the headset just arrived yesterday, so I'll have that for doing creative stepcharting streams in the future.

October (This Month)

There's likely no way the dance pad won't be met by the end of the month.  It'll be ordered sometime this month.  The pad has a 60-day shipping period, and if that is anywhere close to accurate, this means I should expect to actually have it in my possession sometime in December (in time for Christmas!).  Until then, we'll all have the satisfaction of knowing it's been ordered and is on its way.  Once that's the case, we can put up the PC incentive again (and within that, Worlds 5, 6, 7 and 8 of Mario 3 Blindfolded) and start working on that.

My 2-Year Streamiversary, the one thing I had really planned for this month according to the old paste, remains planned for the 7th, and will include StepMania, and Tirkiss: Princess Shade.  It may also include things such as Mario 3, we'll see.

If I can manage more progress in Xenogears, I'll continue and finish it before I think much about Monster Hunter 3rd; I still need to English-patch it.  Those things aside, expect more Mario 3 and New Blood speedruns - the typical things seen on my stream.

If I hit 500 followers this month (I hope I hope!), then I'll do the 500 Follower Special.  That'll probably take at least a week.

I'll start Amazon Prime this month, starting with the free trial.  Aside from typical Amazon Prime benefits, this will also allow me to start giving back to other streamers by getting a free sub each month.  That's right, giving back starts NOW.

November (Next Month)
---------------------

I predicted in my previous paste that I'd have bought the dance pad by now; that is very likely accurate at this point (although I won't actually *have* it yet).  We should be working on the PC incentive by this point, and more Mario 3 Blindfolded should be unlocked as the month transpires.

The only thing I previously planned was a Thanksgiving Special, and hopefully the 500FS will have also happened either in October or sometime early on in November.

Otherwise, Xenogears and/or MH3P will continue through November if they need to (hopefully Xenogears will be done before November).  I don't think anything on my Steam wish list that I could actually play on this laptop would be of any real note if it happened in November, aside from the possible ability to play Fibbage with my viewers.

This month will be when I start actually paying for Amazon/Twitch Prime.  No prob Bob.  And by this point I'll probably be making a good amount of use of it, so it'll be duly good to have.

December
--------

Blue Santa Hat Month will be awesome in ways that aren't me wearing the blue santa hat in question (which I will); many good things will be coming in the month of gift-giving.

The dance pad will arrive sometime probably mid-month if all predictions are accurate (if not, possibly sooner or later, hard to say), and I will finally set up for streaming dancing games in the basement, and do my first on-foot dancing game stream.  Having the dance pad at this point will really push me to want to write more stepcharts, so more Creative streams will start happening to that end.  Be prepared to see a sweaty Ace.

Simultaneously, I will plan the 12 Days of ChristmAce, as I had done last year; I'll figure out a schedule for 12 days of streaming.

I remain wanting to do a $25 giveaway on either Christmas Eve or Christmas Day, and should be in more than sufficient a position to do it easily.

Year-End Goals:
