- FANTASY
- BACKGROUND;
- Kinoshita Lyosha was born to a Japanese cardiologist, and a Korean waitress, during the autumn of 1995. Her parents settled in Japan during the 1990's, and decided to raise her there.
- She often made friends at school due to her unusual name: Lyosha is typically used for Greek girls. It drew attention to her, which she honestly loved. She would cause mischief, hide everyone's toys and generally be an annoying fuck who most teachers hated.
- When she turned six, her younger brother, Chani, was born. Lyosha did not like that, since she wouldn’t be the centre of attention anymore. So she ignored her parents, ignored her brother, and anyone that would talk of him. It was as simple as that.
- It had to end, eventually, because you can't go through life being a salty asshole who can't go through little changes. She tried to be nice to him, but earned herself a shitty nickname (“lettuce”, which often followed after “beep beep”) and in return, started calling him “Chani bitch ass”. “Chani bitch ass” did not go down well, and she earned herself a massive grounding.
- Upon turning nine, Lyosha broke her leg after falling from her friend’s tree house. Bad luck? A few months later, she broke her wrist, when she took part in a sprinting race and slammed her hands against the wall to stop her from running straight through it. There were no benefits from being in a cast.
- Then, when she hit eleven, her parents revealed they were splitting.
- Most people get affected by this only a moderate amount, and get told it's because of adult reasons, and not to worry. That isn't what happened in the Kinoshita household. Her mother seemed intent on outing her father as someone who “couldn't respond to her emotions”, and he seemed fine with responding with “bitch you don't have any emotions”. This tore Lyosha apart, and listening to the arguments and teary phone calls from downstairs took its toll. she stopped speaking, socialising, and smiling.
- “Parents are supposed to stay together! that's your one job!”
- That's what she'd say. It wasn't really true, but she repeated it until it became a dreary metronome, a string of words that meant many things.
- Her life was just a series of unfortunate events. Her friends left her since she'd always snap at them, nobody understood why she was so angry all the time, and her grades slipped. She needed to do something, fast.
- So she changed, on the exterior. She tried to smile, she tried to be happy, she tried to block out everything while she was studying. Sure, it left her to rot inside, but it all proved worthy when she got accepted in college in Seoul, where her father lived.

- OCCUPATION: Studying at university in Seoul, majoring in Psychology.
- CHARACTER:
- Kinoshita Lyosha, somebody who is living the greatest cliche of all times — introversy, dysthymia, and shyness, hidden behind starry-eyed smiles that feel painfully forced.
- She’s made it a permanent rule to never let her facade slip, not even one bit. She can’t bear to think about the tedious ways they might try to help, or how embarrassing it would be to confess how she really feels. All the hardships in her life have taken their toll, and she’s essentially used up all her positivity.
- That's why she hides behind her alias as every teacher's pet, with painfully forced smiles, immaculate grades, and the dare to go as far as clinging to boys' arms, gazing up at them as if they held the key to the universe. It's almost cringey to watch, as she constantly asks questions in order not to be left alone, and laughs that high-pitched giggle that makes her spine shiver. Her parents believe that she's like this as well, and when they ruffle her hair and tell her she's amazing, she has to pretend that doesn't make her feel any less guilty. Why does she do this, I hear you ask? Because she's fucking stupid.
- Sure, she’s happy sometimes, hence “dysthymia”. This usually happens when she’s out with friends, curled up on the sofa watching Doctor Who, or simply talking to someone who’ll listen. Happiness for Lyosha is soft smiles, loud laughs and involuntarily biting her nails. How often will you see it? that’s up to you.
- Usually, the people she relies on to be happy are often gone within a heartbeat, and the hours she'd spent telling them ways to get over their fears and keep that radiant smile, are suddenly worthless, because they aren't here to do that to her. They are technically still around, they just don't wanna hear it. That saddens her, but you'll never find her denying you help, because she still believes people change.
- Lyosha does not stay in contact with confidence: they used to be friends, but nowadays they hardly see each other. The prospect of speaking in front of an audience, or confronting someone, practically scares her to death. So you can expect her reaction when she stumbles upon a motel so horrifically scary it's like a nightmare. Being forced into situations she’s not comfortable with is common, when you consider how most of her friends have no idea about how much she'd shake in her boots if she had to do something like that.
- She sucks at anything practical. Leading, communicating, anything that includes her taking any position of authority. Stutters and long pauses are always threats, and so is the constant looming idea that she isn’t talented in most things. So when working together with other people — she often fails. However, that doesn't meant she's not smart. In fact, she's the most intelligent one in most rooms, her mind always racing with intellectual stuff (when it's not doing other things).
- When talking, Lyosha tends to make it awkward — with the aforementioned long pauses, unnecessary comments, and long long stories about things no-one cares about. Can you relate? Maybe. A bit. It’s never going to be as bad as Lyosha makes it. Negative traits often come hand in hand with positive ones, and one of these is her long-temper. Have you ever seen her mad? I doubt it. She packs in all her anger, and when she lets it out, it disappears. I mean, yeah, you have to go through a few hours of hysterical screaming, breaking and whiny sobs, but then the timer resets! However, getting to know Lyosha won't be the biggest mistake in life.

- TRIVIA;
- • Lyosha believes films with Hugh Laurie in them are guaranteed to be ten times better than they would have been without him. • She’s lowkey a fan of TØP and definitely has a thing for Tyler Joseph. • Her first word was “no”. She literally said it every five seconds until it drove her parents up the wall. • The first alcoholic drink she tried was vodka, at a birthday party she attended back in Japan. Since then, she's had a liking toward spirits, and always manages to steal a sip of her father's glass while he's not looking. • Closeted foot fetish, enough said. • She always stays up to date in the gossip floating around the uni, but would rather die than get herself involved. • When she was younger, she won a contest for eating eight bowls of noodle soup in five minutes. • She's registered as a christian, but has long since abandoned all religious practises. I guess you could call her a heathen. • Lyosha went out and got herself a tattoo the day after she turned eighteen. What was it? A dream catcher — all down her back. - CHAINED UP
- ( LOVE INTEREST INFORMATION )
- FULL NAME; Cheon Jiyong.
- NICKNAME(S);
- • DOGE; because he talks about dogs so friggin' much. His friends call him this as a lowkey insult.
- DATE OF BIRTH; January 19, 1994.
- AGE; 23.
- ETHNICITY; Korean.
- NATIONALITY; Japanese.
- HOMETOWN; Kyoto, Japan.
- FACE CLAIM; oddhw
- BACKUP FACE CLAIM; stalkerofmidnight
- OCCUPATION; Trying to become an actor, but is kind of failing at the moment.
- CHARACTER;
- Jiyong is a major hypocrite. You leave things to the last minute? You'll get shouted at. If he leaves things to the last minute (which he does a lot), it's not his fault and he's got a lot of things on his mind. But if he messes up, he'll repeat his "it's not my fault" line and leave the room. He's the cheapest guy of them all and doesn't like to spend much money on his friends. Despite that, he still expects hundreds to be spent on his gifts. You can't win with Cheon Jiyong.
- He's very loud. He won't hesitate to shout, at the strangest of things. If he drops his ice cream, he'll stop walking and shout. Gets a thorn stuck on his jacket? He'll shout. He's a drama queen, and pretends to be affected by anything and everything. This gets on many people's nerves a lot of the time. He's very blunt and almost never lies to your face. His honesty often comes across as insults.
- He also refuses to admit when he's wrong, most of the time. He will churn out tons of excuses just so you can't get a word in edgeways, make a loud noise and sit in another room to "think things through". His attitude is problematic and he's hard to work with. Jiyong is surprisingly accepting with his behaviour but makes no move to change it.
- And I bet you're thinking, Jiyong and Lyosha are no match. But Jiyong charmed his way into Lyosha's heart and started paying rent. Lyosha changed him into a better person, and trust me, it was for the greater good.
- LIKES;
- • cherry blossoms.
- • stacked rings.
- • being complimented.
- • the TV show “Friends”.
- • travelling.
- • sweater paws.
- • peaches.
- DISLIKES;
- • romantic comedies. • wearing earrings (his ears are pierced but he hates it) • horses. • small dogs that bark. • sleeping in the same room as someone else. • actually doing work. • painting.
- TRIVIA;
- • His ideal type of partner is someone who can give nice hugs and has an adorable smile. • He identifies as a Buddhist. • He'll flirt with anyone — literally. Old man? Yep. Weird teenager with a lisp? Yep. Annoying baby? Yep. Anyone. • His fashion style is very basic. He often wears vintage T-Shirts and ripped jeans, and doesn't do that "aesthetic" style the others have. He's also very chill with looking like an idiot, surprisingly. • He's jealous of people that can compose music well. • His favourite thing to do is put on a sweater & fluffy socks, and sit in front of the fire watching TV. Preferably with company. • He believes in love at first sight. • When he was 7, he owned three pet fish. They died a month upon getting them, due to him not feeding them properly. • His role models include Dean, Troye Sivan and G-Dragon. • He often leaves cups, ice cream tubs, and bowls in his room and never takes them back into the kitchen. That's their problem now, not his.
