June 2017 p4ntz update!

Alright! Quick little update since its been a bit and I'm sure some of you would like to know whats going on, what my plans are etc.

So first things first! The bit goal broke once again, which is making me all mad and sad! So I'm starting it from scratch, setting it to 50,000 bits and adding the deadline of June 24th. BUT if it is met, i will start the run on the 25th. I'm mostly adding the deadline due to it probably breaking about the numbers of days, and it'll be a nice send off before i go to SGDQ for 9 days PLUS having guests in my house for the next 2 weeks after SGDQ, making streams a lot more sporadic in those 2 weeks. So in short, 50k bits and i do BOTW hundo starting on the 25th of June.

So you may have noticed near the end of may streams were a little more scarce. I'm going be straight up honest and fully admit that i was going through a bit of depression. I absolutely hate letting people know that kinda stuff, as i like to try to be strong and happy for everyone to improve everyones moods. Its not that i was getting bored of streaming or anything, i just lacked a lot of motivation to do, well anything. I am good now, excited to get streaming more and more, but i thought i would let the people that care enough to read these pastebins to know whats going on. on top of that ive been working a lot more on my health lately, and some days its a struggle, but a lot of you have also been really supportive of this and it helps so much! Thank you! you guys really help my health, both mentally and physically!

so stream plans! I took a small break from BOTW, but I'm getting ready to do some more, but i do plan on mixing it up with a lot of other stuff! I've kinda been dabbling in a bunch of things at the moment and its been a lot of fun, and I'm kinda getting a better understanding of what i want to run, so here is a general list of what i want to focus on learning and running in the near future!

Breath of the wild: All Shrines, MSRTA, AMQ
Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door: Any% English, 100%
Super Mario 64: 70 star, 120 Star
Puyo Puyo Tetris: Any%, 130%

Now some speedruns i will probably run every once and a while

Mario Golf: 100%
Diddy Kong Racing: 100%
Donkey Kong 64: 101%
Banjo Kazooie: 100%
SUPER MYSTERY GAME (should be doing this run sometime this week)
I dont know there's a lot lmao, i should take a picture of all the games i do own

So outside of speed plans, i want to hit up the casual games a lot more. SKYWARD SWORD IS COMING FIRST, I PROMISE! i held back on it due to all the capture card issues i was having, but i recently picked up a new capture card and i should be able to resume the casual play through. After that i have a ton of games i wanna play through, but i think ill do a quick playthrough of bomberman 64 and do another bit war during that one to decide my next casual game! ARMS also comes out in a couple days, and i will probably stream it a lot on release, then probably do some ARMS with viewers after a run or 2 some days when I'm feeling it. That said, more casual after runs, which means longer streams! I still need to figure out what i can do about running on my N64, but I'm sure ill find a way that works!

So i have a list of events i will be going to, and going give you all the heads up! the dates I am stating are the days i will not be home. If you do see me at any of these events, please come say hi!

The only one i dont have all my plans sorted out for is PAX west, and right now its depending on getting tickets to the event. But if i dont go to PAX i will participate in the mario party octothlon!

So my youtube hasn't had too much uploaded recently, plan on fixing that shortly! i wanna go through all my clips again sometime (starting from when i did AC hundo back in February) and making a video highlight once again! I will also be uploading all my casual playthroughs and PBs like always! I'm going to probably hold back on uploading stuff until SGDQ, so there is content there while I'm away. I am also thinking of putting a vodcast up of every PB i have up to this point, but only if they fix up vodcasts. I dont want autohosts while i have a vodcast up, and i want it to be much much more clear that i am not around. If those happen before i go, yea expect a vodcast of that while im gone.

so the last thing i wanna talk about, is where the money is going to from the amazing people who are giving bits, donating and subbing. Aside from the living costs and the trips, i plan on buying 4 things once this busy season of trips ends and i have a better idea of where I'm looking money wise. First up is a New super powerful PC. I want to be able to have absolutely no limitations of what i can stream. Speaking of limitations of streaming, i want a 3ds capture card that i said i would get forever ago. i tried waiting for a 3dsXL cap card, and even trying to stream off the wifi with a modded 3DS. I dont think waiting is a good idea anymore and the quality isnt good enough for my standards doing the wifi method. After that i want a mixer to be able to have better control of the audio going into my stream. and finally, i want to get a HDMI modded N64, so N64 games look even better!

Also as a reminder, I am part of a new team known as synthesis, and it would mean a lot to me if you checked out all the team members! a lot of us are busy right now, but expect a lot of fun events in the future!
