  6. +nationalparksign __ Wow.. that video is hilarious!

  11. "Kate Rubins" mentioned in a recent video that "ground control" edits the videos and not the "astronauts". So there must exist really long videos which are then edited down to bite-sized pieces so the audience doesn't get "bored". Fish tanks are popular things that people have but watching more than 30 seconds of fish swimming in space is "boring".
  12.
  13.
  14.
  15.
  16. Notice that the longest part of the video was soon after he started shaving his head and the clippers "jammed". (That part of the footage seemed potentially "slowed down" when compared to later segments.)
  17.
  18.
  19.
  20.
  21. A few things:
  22.
  23.
  24.
  25.
  26. 1. If he is shaving his head now then this was arranged from the outset. So why not shave his head from the outset? Of course you would shave your head before going aboard the "ISS". Apparently the "astronauts" make many sacrifices just to get there - but they won't sacrifice their hair?
  27.
  28.
  29.
  30.
  31. 2. The guy seemed puzzled by the jammed clippers. Not exactly an expert with them. Surely an "astronaut" would be skilled with unjamming/cleaning it (especially if it is something he regularly does).
  32.
  33.
  34.
  35.
  36. 3. The fact the clippers seemed to jam gave a convenient excuse to add a hard cut. The first of many.
  37.
  38.
  39.
  40.
  41. 4. The videos are edited by "ground control".. so they decided to include the part about him f_kcing about with the clippers for (seemingly) a minute. That would normally be edited out. But I'm sure we'll be told that Japanese audiences are amused by that kind of thing and that's why it got left in..
  42.
  43.
  44.
  45.
  46. 5. The speed of the video seemed "more normal" after the initial segment and the hard cuts become more frequent.
  47.
  48.
  49.
  50.
  51. 6. Some very bad Russian got spoken by the Japanese guy (I think that's what he was trying to speak). The Russian guy spoke English to him because he knows the clown doesn't really know any Russian.
  52.
  53.
  54.
  55.
  56. 7. He speaks some English at the end. Why bother trying to speak Russian if his English is better (except to "prove" he "knows" Russian).
  57.
  58.
  59.
  60.
  61. Can you imagine these people in an emergency? They cannot even communicate effectively with a hair cut.. how would they handle a genuine emergency?
  62.
  63.
  64.
  65.
  66. *More tomfoolery and proof of nothing*.
  67.
