  1. Based this off a troll love song another anon shared in the egg girl thread.
  2. >Be troll in Scandinavia during middle ages.
  3. >I want to get married really bad to a human. Male trolls are rough and crude, I just want a human I can dote on and who will love me back.
  4. >Everyone down here is super religious and considers trolls "from the devil" so I don't have much of a chance.
  5. >Know a q.t. squire that gets passed over by a lot of the girls in the village.
  6. >He's super nice. He talks to me whenever he sees me, and occasionally gives me treats from the village.
  7. >I spend a whole week getting ready to convince him to marry me.
  8. > I round up a dozen wild horses, their backs never touched by a saddle.
  9. >I use my gold I've been hoarding to buy a beautiful mill in the countryside.
  10. >I give several flowers from my body to the forest goddess to gift me with a beautiful gilded blade.
  11. >The day has finally come. I approach my love's cottage and knock on the door.
  12. >He greets me with a smile and asks why I've come into town.
  13. > I ask him to marry me. I tell him I will gladly give him anything I have that he desires. He must only answer yes or no.
  14. >I offer him the dozen wild horses, singing songs of their beautiful silky coats and their wild lovely manes
  15. >He says no.
  16. > I offer him the mill, with a water wheel of brass and the finest cottage in the Barony.
  17. >He says no.
  18. >This is it. My trump card.
  19. >I reveal the sword from my pack, letting the sunlight catch the blade, sending rays of light throughout his cabin.
  20. >I sing songs of the forging of the weapon by the forest goddess, the fine gold rings on the crossguard, and the jewels plucked from the bowels of the earth.
  21. >He gently pushes the sword back into my hand and covers it with the clothe.
  22. > He says no again.
  23. >I start to cry, my knees buckle and I fall to the floor.
  24. >He reaches down and puts his hands around me while I bawl.
  25. >In desperation I ask one more time. If he will not accept my gifts for his hand in marriage, will he just be happy with me?
  26. >Yes.
  27. >He said yes.
  28. >He looks into my eyes and wipes a tear from my eye and he begins to speak.
  29. >"Fine horses, a beautiful home, an indestructible weapon…those are all wonderful things. But I would never marry for those reasons.
  30. >"I refused your gifts, as generous as they were, because I didn't need them."
  31. >"The only thing I want is you."
  32. >He brings my lips to his and we kiss deeply and passionately.
  33. >All my flowers open at once, fanning the air with the fresh scent of spring and love.
  34. >This is the happiest day of my life.
