- Invisible actors that can be picked up:
- - Invisible Makar in WT, invisible pots when you pick up a pot trapped in ice. Picking them up makes the actor snap back to Link, storing a lot of speed.
- - Invisible bombs (works with any actor, throw an actor before the island fully loads). Picking up the actor crashes. The actor corrupts DYN and GAME permanently, you can try to pick them up on a different map (since the coordinates are saved) but that still crashes.
- - In TWW, holding an item over your head and going through a room transition leads to the item changing room with you. Also works with Morths lached onto Link.
- - The camera plays a role in how some actors react in TWW. Trying to destroy a pot with a bomb that is outside camera view just doesn't work. Trying to break a wall with the mirror shield without looking at the wall doesn't work. Trying to pull a headstone down without looking at it doesn't work, but this property also causes hookshot actor displacement.
- About room transitions:
- - There are not many loadings that are not loading zones in TWW. The only instances of such a thing are within dungeons and the overworld + Stonewatcher and Overlook.
- - On the overworld, changing quadrants is a room transition
- - Inside dungeons, rooms separated by a door have a room transition. With text storage, you can load 2 consecutive rooms at once, and even 3. The game however checks your last safe position (I think? It's about stepping on solid ground at least). If you step in a room, then every room that is 2 doors away will unload. There are however exceptions to this rule: in Stonewatcher and Overlook, you can load 3 consecutive rooms at once and step anywhere you want without the rooms unloading. In some big rooms there seems to be an invisible loading plane which can also cause rooms to unload. This is most easily seen in TotG floor 1, or in the ET first song stone room.
