As a petty background character, Reiji Nishimura's story is not one worth telling. If "mediocrity" had an avatar, then he would no doubt be the avatar in question. He is neither a saint nor a sinner. Neither strong nor weak. Neither a believer nor an an atheist. Neither beautiful nor unsightly. Neither loved nor hated. Neither heroic nor tragic. But not quite "normal", either. An antithesis of partiality yet at the same time, the faithful embodiment of neutrality. A walking paradox. Nothing but a pitiful being who is unable embrace anything, not even his own worthless self, for if he had been able to, then he would not have been granted a role in the Grand Guignol, let alone a name. Just as the Maiden of Dusk was born with nothing and granted nothing, he too was baptized in the twilight of emptiness. It goes without saying that Reiji harbors no ardent desires, nor any grand ideals to boast of.

Being the pathetic man that he is, Reiji blames God's will for his worthlessness and ineptitude.

>Assiah:
Reiji's Assiah allows him to lower the metaphysical value of anything he touches down to his own worthless value of "zero". Despite the fact that Reiji is a user of Die Ewigkeit, he is but a simple human and his shoddy third-rate body would surely crumble were he to suffer even a single gunshot. However, by diminishing the value of a fatal attack or a mortal wound, he can prevent the violation of his untainted inferiority. By nulling the distance between himself and a destination, he can achieve ungodly speeds. By tarnishing the sanctity of a diamond with his unworthy touch, he can lower the pure gemstone to the level of mere talc.

>Yetzirah: Creatio ex Nihilo
Reiji’s "Ahnenerbe" takes the form of various constructs, such as nameless swords or invisible spears, created out of nothing. His creations can act as catalysts for his Assiah and he can control their movements telekinetically. The quantity of items that he can materialize at the same time depends solely on his almost non-existent will but the quality of his creations will be poor regardless of the circumstances. In addition, perhaps as a result of his pitiful wealth of knowledge, Reiji is unable to create anything too complex. Because Reiji considers himself to be a worthless existence that will never be loved, he supposes that anything forged by his petty hands must also be worthless. Therefore, no laws of equivalent exchange will be violated with the usage of Creatio ex Nihilo. To be able to truly create something of value out of nothing, one must upturn the laws of the very universe. In order to do that one must be truly special, unlike Reiji.

"So I have magical powers. What of it? They were probably just given to me on a whim by some asshole up above. Probably all a part of a script of some sort, no doubt. It won't surprise me if I get killed off as an insignificant side character for the audience's entertainment. Not like someone like me can tell, though."

Well, that's what Reiji wishes he could say.

Midas' Beri'ah which incorporates both Gudou and Hadou, his craving being "I want to be special". Once Midas realizes that he may in fact be worth more than waste by the wayside, he will slough off his old skin. So what if his creation figment only exists as a gift handed to him on a silver platter by a predetermined script? He does not mind. When the Transmutation of Gold is completed, Midas will never be able revert back to his former, lackluster self.

Zero multiplied by ten is still zero. Zero multiplied by a googolplex is still zero. But what if Midas were to throw in the concepts of "infinity" and "endless" into the mix? "Ain Soph - Aurum Ouroboros" allows Midas to increase the metaphysical value of anything without limit. True to his name "Midas", anything -- even the cravings of others -- gifted with his touch shall turn into gold. His golden touch, of course, can also engolden his prior abilities as well.

Once the Golden Serpent approaches his apotheosis, he will be able to create and destroy anything and everything, even concepts and dimensions, at will.

Midas had always loathed destiny for the cards that it had dealt him. His cards were poor ones indeed, but they were far from the worst. He was far from being a tragic hero, after all. However, that in and of itself was the root of Midas' fanatical and absurd craving of wanting to be the "protagonist". He detested the conductor, but the task of replacing him was one that was far too arduous for Midas. Instead, he simply wished to be the concertmaster. The leading actor. The center of the multiverse.

With the activation of "Tempora Heroica - Acta Est Fabula Aeternam", Midas will become the protagonist of every story that exists and the hero of every tale that has yet to exist. Rather than claiming the Throne for himself, he instead smothers it with his law.

The genres and themes of the stories that Midas shall lead in matter little to him so long as he can be the protagonist. Any universe shall be satisfactory so long as he can be at its center. Midas will become the Hyper-dimensional Throne itself and will remain as such until its absolute end. Any and every other law will be welcomed by Midas with open arms, but they will have no choice but to play second-fiddle to his egocentric law. Ultimately, the playwright is ironically nothing but a slave to its cast and the audience.

Kinzo's (Midas) Kamungara, the physical manifestation of a Hadou God's Law, takes the form of an enormous Sephirot tome confined by a lemniscate shaped by two coiling mystical and gargantuan serpents, one golden and the other darker than black, biting each other's tails. As the protagonist, Kinzo can unknowingly receive virtually unlimited power and providence directly from the will of the "Creator", the story's architect, either gradually or through sudden bursts of overwhelming superiority, allowing him to crush opponents that for all intents and purposes should be utterly beyond him. The transcendent Creator, Kinzo's benefactor and prisoner, possesses absolute dominion over all aspects of the multiverse in which Kinzo exists in, and can freely alter its nature, content, inhabitants, history, destiny, etcetera. All rules can be changed on a whim or flat out ignored, as the Creator is literally the one dictating them. The Creator controls the plot of the story as it goes, be it the setting of the story, whom the plot revolves around, how the plot progresses or the reasoning of the world. It governs every decision the characters make and every consequence of those decisions and essentially controls the whole timeline of their reality.

"The treacherous Harbinger of Beguiling Light; unknown to defeat, nor known to decline."

The Fallen Angel Lucifer. He possesses many other names including but not limited to: The Light-Bringer, The Dawn, The Morning Star, The Shining One, The Devil, The Prince of Darkness, The Golden Beast, The Golden King, The Monarch of Destruction, The Child of Venus, The Rebel of God, The Usurper, Beelzebub, Satan, Satanael, Helel, and Mephistopheles. But the name given to him by His ordinary and typical parents was none other than “Cyrus”.

Cyrus was a man who had a sterling reputation for healing the sick, helping the poor, speaking kindly, and ministering to all in need. He possessed a beguiling charisma and was equally loved and admired by all. Cyrus was a “wunderkind” through and through -- He was a leader, a fighter, a teacher, a scholar, a doctor, a lawyer, a philosopher, and much more. “Perfect” would be the perfect word to describe Him. Cyrus excelled at each and every thing that man could possibly excel at, and He did it all without ever giving it His all. Despite all His glory, His achievements never once granted him satisfaction nor a strong feeling of pride or vainglory. Indeed, for He strongly felt as if it had all been preordained. He did not particularly enjoy looking down on others nor did He dislike the act of doing so, but being above others was as natural as breathing to Him.

But despite all His exalted splendor, Cyrus was but a mortal man. He began to lose his health. When He got sick his friends visited Him, but there was nothing that they could do to save Him. They could give naught but good words, and they wished they could be more like Him. People prayed for Him day and night for everyone believed that Cyrus was the nicest person anyone could ever meet.

Mortal intervention from all quarters could not save He who had saved so many other people. The priest who came to Him was unable to hear Him confess any sins that were not already confessed. Or rather, He had no sins worth confessing. The priest left, saying he had done all he could do, "But with the Lord's help, he may yet regain his health."

Yet Cyrus died, and the mourning began.

When Cyrus’ remains were taken to the cathedral and prepared for its last rites -- namely, a blessing in the nature of a viaticum -- and was laid out on the stone table there, it managed to cry out three times in three days, each time prompted by the priest saying His name, and each time leading to an ever-larger crowd of onlookers to witness what was happening.

No sooner had the priest begun to perform His last rites, and started to say "Cyrus" than the corpse jolted, opened Its mouth, and -- moving Its departed lips -- cried out to interrupt the services. Each time this happened, the priest considered it to be a bad omen, and delayed the man's last rites by an extra day.

On the first day, the Priest said, "Cyrus was a good man," and He cried out, "I have been accused".
On the second day, the Priest said, "Cyrus was a good man," and He cried out, "I have been found guilty".
On the third day, the Priest said, "Cyrus was a good man," and He cried out, "I have been damned to Hell Eternal".

The onlookers witnessing this event were dumbfounded, as they could not think of anything Cyrus had done warranting damnation. He was not known for swearing, cheating, or coveting. He was in fact so generous with everything He had, that He had nothing when He died. They did not understand why Cyrus would have cried out the things that He did.

Christian Rosenkreuz was one of Cyrus' many friends, and like all the others he had been in the crowded cathedral when Cyrus' body cried out His last words. Seeing this with his own eyes, Christian was beside himself with confusion as to why these things had happened, and why Cyrus -- of all people -- should have met with such a stern judgment.

Christian ended up surmising that perhaps doing good deeds for others generally tended to magnify pride, or superbia -- a kind of haughtiness or vainglory -- that is immaterial in the long run, and, as such, being a misplacement of priorities, is a kind of deadly sin that will permanently bar entry into Heaven.

Regardless of whether it is the Sword of the Stone or the sword bequeathed to King Arthur by the Lady of the Lake, it is nonetheless the holy symbol of the right to the sovereign Throne forged by the planet as the golden crystallization of the wishes of mankind stored and tempered within the planet. None other than Lucifer may touch the holy sword for he is the rightful King of Heaven. Aside from Lucifer himself, those who dare to look upon the Sword itself will have their minds burned and their souls erased.

The holy sword is always faster than its target, never misses, and kills whatever it hits on a physical, mental, spiritual, and conceptual level. If Lucifer were to get serious, a single, gentle arc from the holy sword would be able to release a godly flood of golden light powerful enough to easily wash away the sun itself.

To take the sword into one’s hands is to form a covenant of promised victory. As such, Lucifer is guaranteed to be the victor of any and every trial there is, regardless of whether that trial exists in the past, present, future, or even a higher plane of existence. Contrapositively, without regard to logic or reason, the concept of “loss” simply cannot be imposed upon Lucifer no matter what. One cannot even resort to flipping over the chessboard against Him. Even the Golden Serpent can barely stir Lucifer’s almighty power.

>Clarent - Rebellion gegen meinen schönen Vater
Mordred's sword, originally stored away by King Arthur in the armory of Camelot. Described as "more dazzling than any silver", it is an ornate, sparkling white silver sword adorned with splendid decorations, acting as a symbol of kingship denoting the right of succession of the divine Throne.

Just as Mordred once used to it rebel against and slay his beautiful father, King Arthur, He too will wield the Sword of Rebellion to overthrow the Allfather, “_ _ _”. However, with the sister sword Excalibur in His other hand, He will not fail nor shall He be slain like Mordred once was. In His hands, the Sword of Rebellion will be branded to ascend to claim the title of Sword of Revolution. It is the divine symbol of kingship denoting the right of succession of the Throne of Heaven. His destiny is none other than the overthrowing of “_ _ _”. Lucifer shall show “_ _ _” how it is done by creating a better world. Without question, He shall create his Paradise of Avalon. In his perfect utopia, saints and sinners alike need not suffer.

As the Sword of Revolution, Lucifer’s Clarent signifies the concepts of innovation, improvement, ingenuity, inspiration, and inventiveness. Hence, Lucifer is able to easily make anything He wishes rise above and beyond the peak of its apotheosis. If Lucifer were to somehow find Himself in a hypothetical scenario where His undeniable victory is denied to him, all He needs to do is elevate Himself even further. Even the mighty Nebrophonos' aptitude for transforming and evolving cannot hope to hold a candle to Lucifer's revolution.

“Ad infinitum, et Ultra.”

Just as He turned the Sword of Rebellion into the Sword of Revolution, so too can He transcend the speed of light to graciously vouchsafe the preeminent luster of the Morning Star upon Sirius so that it may produce a hypernova powerful enough to overshadow even the supposed Big Bang which created the universe.

Beri'ah ― Ragnarök Morgenröte - Exodus zur Arche des fünften Weltall!"

Lucifer’s Beri'ah, His craving being “I Will Save All and Everything!” His craving initially establishes itself as a city-sized heavenly castle composed of the Earth and its residents' souls. The castle will spread to envelop the Swastikas opened around the planet and eventually the entire world shall serve as the Ark in which his subjects will ride upon to conquer the laws governing all of existence. Lucifer’s leadership is not one of dictatorship or subjugation, and as such all of his subjects will willingly abide by his benevolent rule.

Lucifer is capable of inviting others into His Ark and anyone that is killed within the Ark or is slain via Lucifer’s Holy Swords will become a part of His Legion of Angels, giving Him all of their memories and powers. His Legion is immortal as long as they are bound to him. The Ark has a passive effect of distorting space and coordination, making it impossible to get close unless one is invited to the Ark itself by Lucifer. Additionally, the Ark can be detached from the universe, allowing Lucifer to instantly teleport anywhere by using it as a launching pad. He can also summon the Angels He's gathered to do battle alongside Him, giving Him an advantage through sheer numbers via this method.

If He so wishes, Lucifer can have His castle transform into a gigantic and indestructible mobile titan large enough to dwarf mountains. The Goliath of the Ark can produce more energy than every earthquake in history combined through its movement alone.

>Atziluth: "Goldenes Zeitalter - Dies Irae"
The manifestation of Lucifer’s law, one that follows through with his desire of “liberating everything at full-power”. He saved everything and everyone when He was but a simple mortal man and He shall continue to do the same as a God. Through His Atziluth, He will embrace each and every being whose name is recorded in the Books of Life and Death. That is to say, all the victims of foreknowledge and predestination -- everyone. No one shall be discriminated against.

No man under the light of the Morning Star shall be denied their entry to His glorious Garden of Eden. Lucifer shall be the one to free everyone from the chains of foreknowledge. He shall be the one to bestow the gift of free will, which the conman of an Allfather had lied to them about. If he must erase the hyperverse itself in its entirety and recreate it from scratch, then he shall do so determinedly and without hesitation. Lucifer's Heaven is one of free will in which everyone can choose their own fate.

Every man and woman that has ever lived will be brought to His level of existence by His embrace so that they may claim their triumphant victory together. All of their abilities and wishes will become His and will be brought above and beyond to become conceptual in nature.

Akenomyōsei's Kamungara, the physical manifestation of a Hadou God's Law, takes the form of a six-winged lion.

Shakyamuni’s interminable Yetzirah, which takes the form of its own soma. Shakyamuni is the monstrous and mindless chimera composed of the failed Übermensch and homunculi of Lebensborn; its “magnum opus”, if you will. Even a humble wordsmith such as myself can hardly describe this abortion of nature. It is as if someone chucked a herd of people into a blender and constructed Shakyamuni’s body with the resulting excrement. From its hulking body protrudes and innumerable amount of appendages and its head is occupied by several malformed faces. Its sex is indiscernible for its body possesses dozens of genitalia unique to both genders.

Shakyamuni’s core is that of the singularity who possessed no cravings, no desires. The Shakyamuni would never have been born if the vessel that constituted its core had been filled with even a single earthly desire beforehand. In a sense, its core’s existence may be more worthless than that of Midas’, as its container originally possessed nothing.

Shakyamuni’s chimeric corpus can call upon and manifest the cravings of each and every individual that dwells within it. It has the potential to create up to eight lesser small-scale creation figments at the same time. Naturally, any who is felled by Shakyamuni’s claws and fangs shall have their cravings plundered by its clutch of Nirvana.

>Beri'ah: “Vijñāna Asura”
Shakyamuni’s Gudou-type Beri'ah, their craving being “We want to be human”. Upon completing the incantation of its Beri'ah’s mantra, all the minds and souls flowing within the chaos that is the contents of Shakyamuni’s vessel will congregate at its core.

Under “normal” circumstances, such a being achieving Beri'ah would be impossible. Shakyamuni’s core had possessed no desires when he was alive. On the other end of the spectrum, the core’s cohorts’ desires are constantly at odds with one another. However, ever since the inception of Shakyamuni, all of them have shared the craving of wanting to be human again. To that end, Shakyamuni will be a berserk amalgamation of meat and bone no longer with the coalition of its collective consciousness.

"They" will join forces and combine their efforts to reclaim their humanity all while ignoring the futility of the noble wish that not even the miracle of Gold can grant. Their grotesque monstrosity of a body will reform itself into the incarnate of a divine Asura. As a titan of the Kāmadhātu Shakyamuni has six arms and three heads with three faces. “Vijñāna Asura” is their way of becoming human by regaining their abilities to think and feel -- their intelligence, knowledge, wisdom, and emotion. While the martial and physical prowess that the form boasts is indeed impressive; it’s true power stems from their reclaimed minds. Each and every soul will meld together to become one. The resulting unified mind is ascended to a point where even the feats of reading minds, accurately predicting the future, and moving objects by nonphysical means are no more difficult than breathing. Shakyamuni's psychokinetic might is strong enough to grind the planet's rotation to a halt and dexterous enough to disassemble atoms one by one. Correspondingly, even the “gift” of foreknowledge would not stand a chance against the Asura's perfect trinity of foresight, insight, and hindsight.

>Atziluth: "निब्बान"
The manifestation of Shakyamuni's law, his craving being absolutely nothing. After activation, the quenching of all cravings and desires shall begin its cessation of the multiverse. The complete emanation of Shakyamuni's law is equivalent to the elimination of all suffering, as suffering is brought about by desire. Indeed, "निब्बान" will completely erase the minds and souls of everything in existence.

[III - Maheśvara]

>Assiah:
Shiba Genzō is a Japanese survivor of the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki that occurred during the end of World War II. He is a mutant -- an “Elephant’s Foot” whose unstable Assiah allows him to emanate colossal amounts of radiation. By concentrating, Maheśvara can emit particle beams capable of liquefying and vaporizing anything in his path. If an ordinary human being within Maheśvara’s immediate vicinity were to be exposed to his Assiah's radiation, several seconds would be all it would take for every cell belonging to the poor unfortunate soul's body to melt and hemorrhage into oblivion. Maheśvara is a walking cancer -- his footsteps leave behind naught but scorched earth condemned to a fate of never again being able to support life.

The indestructible Divine Vessel of Lucifer that coats Maheśvara's body and the presence of the third Sonnenkind, Kaguya, keep him from inadvertently turning his surroundings into radioactive waste. The former's ability to rein in Maheśvara's instability needs no explanation. The latter's, on the other hand, is inexplicable.

>Yetzirah:
Maheśvara’s Ahnenerbe which takes the form of an arsenal of peculiar and unique legendary relics. All of them are bound by a common trait, however. Can you take a guess as to what that trait is?

Tonbokiri - One of three legendary Japanese spears created by the famed swordsmith Fujiwara no Masazane, said to be wielded by the legendary daimyō Honda Tadakatsu. The spear has the ability to instantly cut anything into two. Regardless of whether its target is a dragonfly or an atom - it will split it.

Brahmastra - When the power of the arm cannon of Brahmastra is discharged, there exists neither a counterattack nor a defense that can stop it for a single blow from it can be likened to a nuclear blast.

Vimana - An ancient Indian aircraft that can leave the speed of sound in its dust. It is loaded with a variety of weapons ranging from ancient machine guns to ancient nuclear warheads.

"Ah, my beloved, dearest swan!

Beri'ah ― Vanaheimr - Göttlich Gralsritter Gawain!"

Maheśvara’s Beri'ah, which incorporates both Gudou and Hadou, his craving being “I want to shine like the sun”. He wishes to be able to do what his Lord can do; he craves for the power that will allow him to bring salvation to those in need.

Despite simply being nothing but a large mass of hot plasma produced by nuclear fusion, to Gaia, the Sun is an existence that is absolutely vital for life. Needless to say, however, being too close or too far is enough to escape the sun’s benevolent light. Before the bombing, Maheśvara was but a simple bounteous priest who only sought to help and save people in need; to be their guiding light. However, he was broken that fateful day when he lost the light of his children and his soul was shattered into two. One soul belongs to the good old kindhearted saint who seeks to bring salvation to all with his benign sunlight whereas the other belongs to a mutated, mad lunatic who only seeks to eclipse everything with his malignant sunlight and to blow everything to kingdom come.

"Vanaheimr - Göttlich Gralsritter Gawain" reflects the duality of Maheśvara's nature. After shedding or losing his Lord's adamantine Divine Vessel, Maheśvara will be able to call upon the righteous glory of Galatine -- the holy sword of sunlight and the shadow to Excalibur's light. Although a shadow, Galatine's power can rival that of Excalibur's and since it is not the King's sword itself but a sister sword, one does not need to be Lucifer Himself in order to wield it.

If Galatine is summoned during the night it will bring with it a warm brightening sun to paint over the moon, thereby turning night into day. Its user and his comrades will be constantly empowered and healed by Maheśvara's incandescent sunlight and the lustrous sword shan't hurt anyone except its targets so there is nary a need to restrain its radiance. A single ray is enough to save any ally from the brink of death and cremate any enemy with the force and heat of one-thousand suns at the same time. If it is drawn after dawn and the real sun is overlaid by Maheśvara's pseudo sun, Galatine shall also possess unlimited range, never miss, always be faster than its targets, and be able to decimate its targets on a conceptual level.

[IV - Magnum Innominandum]

Erik Weißmann is an albino man with a long criminal record who served as a First Lieutenant for the infamous 36th Waffen Grenadier Division of the SS. Despite having been born into a penurious family, Erik is a genius skilled in all sorts of fields but as a result he finds life boring. As a constant thrill-seeker, he is always looking ahead. Normally, such traits would be quite virtuous, but Erik is far from normal. The actions of turning back and facing forwards are mutually exclusive. Therefore, Erik only sees what he lacks and not what he has. As a result, he will never acquire satisfaction -- his greed will not be sated until there is nothing left. Such is the curse shackling the poor man's soul.

>Assiah:
Magnum’s Assiah allows him to rouse the dormant black blood coursing throughout his veins from its slumber. The black blood can harden in response to physical trauma, granting Magnum monstrous strength and speed that far exceeds the allowance of the souls dwelling with him along with nigh invulnerability that nearly rivals that of Brynhildr’s. So long as he doesn’t let the black blood get to his head (literally), his sanity and intelligence shall not be perturbed.

>Yetzirah: Qliphoth Adyeshach
Magnum’s Ahnenerbe, which is none other than his body itself. Upon the activation of his Yetzirah, the milk of the void shall corrode the majority of the cells that constitute his body. His blackened body parts are capable of flowing like water and cutting like obsidian without losing even a single drop of its fortitude. Furthermore, the versatile dark matter can analyze, assimilate, absorb, and replicate almost anything it comes into contact with, even antimatter. The dark matter can also separate itself from Magnum's body and act autonomously without any input from its master’s gray matter -- doing so will effectively double their combat prowess. And finally, it must be reiterated: so long as Magnum does not let the obsidian ichor reach his brain, his mental faculties will remain undisturbed.

It should be noted that his uniform is not actually authentic -- the Qliphoth Adyeshach is merely imitating the Obsidian Round Table's regalia. Whether that is due to poverty or exhibitionism is up for debate.

>Beri'ah: “Der Namenlose Nebel”
Magnum’s Gudou-type Beri'ah, ITS craving being “I want to consume all of creation”. Upon being forced into a corner and letting the milk of the void reach and consume his mind, Magnum’s Beri'ah activates. The tiny fragment of the universe’s dark matter -- Nyog'Sothep -- now has a suitable vessel to begin its conquest to envelop and devour the entirety of the cosmos. The incorporeal black mist indiscriminately engulfs and devours anything in its path and can even rend the fabric of space itself with its new body. It shall not stop consuming and growing until nothing is left.

>“True” Beri'ah: "Überfluß macht Geiz - Die Bürgschaft von Schwarzeschwan”
Magnum’s true Beri'ah which incorporates both Gudou and Hadou, his craving being “I want to make everything mine”. As the very embodiment of avarice, Magnum wishes to make everything he lays eyes on his.

"Women, riches, power, gourmet cuisine, immortality... all of it will belong to me! Don't expect my story to end ironically by thinking that I'm gonna let some small-fry of an alien nigger be the one to steal my very own body, of all things. Heheh, getting dominated just isn't my thing, you see. I'M the one who does the raping! The moment this fucking eldritch piece of shit lets its guard down will be the moment of its downfall."

Due to the similarity of the cravings that Magnum and the dark matter possess, Magnum is able to easily synchronize with the dark matter and take the reins by making the very craving of wanting to "consume all of creation" his. Moreover, upon regaining sanity and control Magnum will gain the ability to absorb and drain without physical contact. Everyone and everything within his domain will have not just their life force, but their very existence extracted from them. Forget blood -- the nucleic acids of his prey will be siphoned from their cells. The might, knowledge, abilities, and luck of those around him will become his. If the dark matter is a bottom-feeding mongrel that only knows how to be fed in order to satisfy its insatiable gluttony, then Magnum is the artisan gourmand who covetously seeks all the recipes so as to create his own food.

[V (Former) - Nikola Brynhildr]
Soul count: ~200 000

Born into a family with a history of knighthood, Hildegard von Wilhelm was raised to believe in honor and valor. As such, she dedicated her sword and shield to her Fatherland and was a member of the German army in the midst of World War II. She fought as a skilled soldier under Valentina Lächert until they both were recruited into the Longinus Dreizehn Orden as Nikola Brynhildr and Samael Antaeus. However, Hilde quickly became disgusted with the methods the group employed and began to plot to destroy them from within while hoping to free her former commander and best friend from the thrall of its leader.

Incidentally, Hilde is one of the few people capable of withstanding Valentina's sadistic disposition. Or rather, it appears that she in fact enjoys receiving her superior's verbal and physical abuse.

>Assiah:
Brynhildr - The Valkyrie Shieldmaiden. True to her name, she can reinforce her body and turn herself into a sentient shield -- a Sentinel, if you will. As the impregnable shieldmaiden, only the greatest and mightiest of attacks are permitted to bring her harm. As they all say, “the best defense is a good offense”. Brynhildr is also capable of discharging high voltage electricity and repelling and attracting objects like a magnet with the use of her Assiah.

>Yetzirah: Járnskjoldr
Brynhildr’s Ahnenerbe, which takes the form of the two twin shields of positive and negative. With Járnskjoldr equipped Brynhildr’s defense and her charge over electromagnetism are both amplified, granting her a variety of abilities. Her body can become the lightning rod to her opponents’ lightning or a magnet to attract and repel any and all harm so that no harm may befall her comrades. To supplement her already absolute defense, any attack that hits her shall have its energy and damage rebounded back to the assailant tenfold in the form of electrocution. Furthermore, rather than being slowed down by the weight of her two shields, Brynhildr's speed shall in fact increase with her boosted influence over electromagnetism. Any surface can serve as rails for her feet and no longer will her body be shackled by the force of gravity so long as her Járnskjoldr is donned. As such, Brynhildr will not hesitate to chase down her enemies if there is no one in need of her protection. If a fist from her Assiah stage were to be compared to a taser, then receiving a shield bash from her Yetzirah stage would be akin to being struck by thunder.

>Beri'ah: "Donner Totentanz - Walkürenritt”

Brynhildr’s Gudou-type Beri'ah, her desire being “I want to be the aegis that supports and protects my comrades on the battlefield”. Upon activation Brynhildr will be encased by her mechanical railgun clad armor, the Megingjörð, and become a literal mobile fortress. The Megingjörð is nigh-immune to change imposed by anyone or anything other than Brynhildr herself and contrary to its supreme defense, its power can tear her opponents apart down to the last electron. And in case you were wondering, Brynhildr's fullmetal form will not slow her down either. As a matter of fact, her armor allows her to become pure electricity so that she will always be fast enough to protect her allies.

>“True” Beri'ah: “Opfern Totentanz - Götzen-Dämmerung”
Brynhildr’s true Hadou-type Beri'ah, her desire being “I want to be the hammer that crushes the fools who dare to oppose me and my comrades”. By becoming the hammer of Thor, Mjölnir, Brynhildr embraces the adage “the best offense is the best defense”. Indeed, she would no longer have to worry about protecting anyone if she were to simply destroy everything. “Opfern Totentanz - Götzen-Dämmerung” turns Brynhildr into both an immovable object and an unstoppable force at the same time by having her root herself in place and granting her the ability to dragoon everything else into a Totentanz. The boundaries of the event horizon of thunder and lightning will close down on her and pulverize everything within.

It seems our Valkyrie is truly a sadomasochist down to her very core.

[V - Prometheia Aschfahl]

Tsubaki Tachibana is a descendant of a samurai bloodline that once fought against the Obsidian Round Table. She joined the Table to fill the spot left by Brynhildr, who died eleven years prior. Furthermore, her age -- contrary to the other members -- does actually match her young appearance.

Although Prometheia may be the youngest and greenest member of the Obsidian Round Table, she must not be underestimated. She is a master of both pyromancy and kenjutsu and furthermore, unbeknownst to the rest of the Table, her mind is in fact sharper than her blade. True to her moniker “Prometheia”, she is experienced in the art of forethought and as pyromancy is "divination by fire", Prometheia is certainly no stranger to foreknowledge.

Yetzirah: Kusanagi-no-Tsurugi
In the beginning, the world was unformed, shrouded by fog, colorless and bereft of light. But then, the advent of fire occurred. This created diversity and disparity in the world: with it came heat and cold, life and death, and light and dark. From the dark, came humanoid creatures. These creatures found souls within the flames, and took on the powers they gave.

Prometheus enacted the theft of fire from the gods and bestowed the spoils upon the world. This great sword was wielded by his deific manifestation. This coiled sword, found thrust in the bonfire and folded over 1000 times, existed long before the gods themselves. It has been said that the flames produced by this sword are hot enough outblaze the sun itself and that all that fall within its arc shall be razed to nothing but ash. With the Kusanagi-no-Tsurugi acting as a catalyst, the full potential of Prometheia’s pyromancy will erupt like the Krakatoa.

Beriah ― Mögen die Gesetze der Götter abgebrannt werden - Der Aufgehende Phönix!”

Prometheia’s Gudou-type Beri'ah, her craving being “I want my blazing passion to burn ever brighter”. With the emission of her Beri'ah, Prometheia shall perform her very own “Promētheus Lyomenos” by tearing apart the chains shackling her soul with might rivaling that of Heracles himself. Upon being extinguished in combat, Prometheia will resurrect as Suzaku -- The Vermilion Bird. A phoenix in the guise of man. As the immortal fire-bird, Prometheia’s inferno is magnified exponentially. Moreover, her rate of regeneration is increased and she is able to rekindle herself up to eleven times. Whenever she is reduced to cinders, she steps closer to the First Flame. The torches of her progenitors shall be passed on to her with each and every step. The embers that fed the fire before her shall pass on to her their burning ardor.

>Third Degree
With two deaths under her belt, Prometheia’s body is capable of becoming pure flame that can instantly vaporize any material known to man. This stage also makes it virtually impossible to strike her physically, as she is nothing more than fire.

>Fifth Degree
Allows Prometheia to unleash an almighty conflagration that will continuously expand until her targets are reduced to cinders.

>Seventh Degree
Albeit redundant, as Prometheia's inferno can now reach temperatures up to 80000000 Kelvin, her flames can now burn the very soul and bypass all resistance to heat and fire.

>Eleventh Degree: "Múspellsheimr Lævateinn"
Once Prometheia approaches her zenith, she can teleport her target into a realm of ceaselessly burning hellfire that is impossible to escape from. Furthermore, at this penultimate stage she will be able to grant the other members of the Longinus Dreizehn Orden their funeral pyres. Her fire is now conceptual in nature and she can dispose of the living dead permanently via cremation.

>Final Degree: "Der Rosenkavalier Akzeriyyuth"
The candle burns brightest just before it goes out; at this final stage Prometheia will gain total control over anything and everything associated with the color "red". Adam - The Child of Terra Mater. He is quite possibly the carrier of the strongest Oedipus complex in the history of mankind. His biophilia aside, his devotion to his dear Mother has manifested in the form of a yearning for the extermination of all the filth that dares to pollute Her heavenly body - mankind. That’s not to say that he is a tree-hugger however, for he is a walking natural disaster that can eradicate animals and plants alike. Erdenkind acts as Gaia’s leukocytes by purging all of its cercospora and parasites.

Erdenkind’s Assiah grants him a lesser authority over the four elements. He can create and manipulate fire, water, earth, and wind at will. The four elements are all he needs to conjure miniature floods, eruptions, tsunamis, blizzards, hurricanes, droughts, storms, heat waves, tornadoes, and wildfires at his leisure. Nonetheless, the thought of using the elements to assist anyone or anything besides his Mother or his Lord shall, not in at least 2 billion years, cross his mind.

>Yetzirah: Sichelzellenanämie
Erdenkind’s Ahnenerbe, which takes the form of a sickle forged from the bark of the World Tree. It is a replica of the scythe which Cronus used to castrate and depose Uranus, his Father.

If Erdenkind himself is a personified leukocyte, then the sickle is a weaponized erythrocyte. Sichelzellenanämie decomposes anything Erdenkind strikes and anything that touches him will rot to dust. In addition, everything that the sickle decomposes is converted to and stored as energy which Erdenkind can use to galvanize himself or anything that he touches -- decomposition and vitalization are two sides of the same coin. Sichelzellenanämie also permits Erdenkind to create, shape and manipulate oxygen, a colorless, odorless, highly reactive nonmetallic element and oxidizing agent that readily forms compounds with most elements, constituting 20.1% of Gaia’s epidermis by volume that occurs as a diatomic gas. O2 is essential for plant and animal respiration, and is required for nearly all forms of combustion. With the ability to manipulate oxygen, his authority over the four elements is naturally escalated as well.

>Beri'ah: "Apocalypsis Pandorae”
Erdenkind’s Beri'ah which incorporates both Gudou and Hadou, his craving being “I want to be with Mother forever”. Upon activation, Erdenkind begins the inversion of Pandora’s Box with the rape of his Mother by becoming one with her. The hope within the pithos shall flow outside, forcing the contents -- the evil -- which once escaped the box in the past due to the gaffe of a foolish whore from times past back inside.

The uprooting of “Apocalypsis Pandorae” will fuse Erdenkind and his Mother together, transforming him into a gargantuan golem. The will of an enemy to move mountains or die trying shall be no different from litter on the side of the road when Erdenkind is one with the Earth itself. After activation, the planet's living organisms, magnetic field, core, hydrosphere, lithosphere, and atmosphere will all slowly fall under Erdenkind's command.

In the presence of the Gold, Lucifer, Erdenkind will ripen and transmogrify himself into His Lord's heavenly castle.

Michael von Stroheim-- The One Who is like God and the Supreme Commander of the Heavenly Hosts. His true identity belongs to that of an accomplished German commander from World War II who was saved from the brink of death by being transformed into a cyborg. His perpetual Ahnenerbe allows him to emulate the traits of machines -- war machines, that is.

Michael’s Ahnenerbe takes the form of his own body -- the War Machine. He can become an aquatic U-boat to swim through and across any state of matter so that he may plunge his targets down to Davy Jones’ locker, a panzer to litter the battlefield with the scent of iron and gunpowder with its shells of death and destruction, and even a spitfire to rain down slaughter with its reign of terror. His modus operandi is not limited to causing barbaric devastation however, for his central processing unit can perform trillions of calculations per second. Michael can also summon up to a battalion of soldiers from his creation figment and have them carry out his will.

The sombre machine is the walking incarnate of "war" and "death". As a literal one man army, his parameters can become proportional to the quantity of his opposition. As the reaper, simply looking at Michael is enough to get an ordinary man instantly killed on a physical and spiritual level. The command of absolute death is further bolstered by his blows and it can even be used defensively via the "killing", or erasure, of incoming threats.

Beri'ah ― Miðgarðr Angurvadal - Gott Mit Uns!”

Michael’s Hadou-type Beri'ah, his craving being “I want to lead the glorious crusade of my people to its victory”. His creation figment drags his opponents into his inner world and takes the form of the entire Wehrmacht army. Rather than having to personally deal with his enemies, Michael will act out his role as a general by commanding his army. In order for one to reach Michael, they must first somehow pass No-man’s land by surmounting the countless hordes of infantry, cavalry, guns, artillery, tanks, planes, bombs, mines, warheads, warships, submarines, biological weapons, and barricades.

With "Miðgarðr Angurvadal - Gott Mit Uns”, Michael himself will not have to lift a single finger as he watches his enemies be razed to the ground. The firearms wielded by his infantry can each be compared to Ichaival, the bow possessed by Odin -- ten shots can be released with but a single pull of a trigger. The army's all-ending artillery, bombs, panzers, and warheads embody Odin’s Gungnir -- they are weapons that will never miss their marks. The position of each and every landmine is perfectly calculated with the intent of never letting anyone take a single step towards Michael. The trenches, barricades, and bunkers that protect his men have been bequeathed the absolute protection of Svalinn. Any and all wounds inflicted by his army will be cursed by the bane of the sword that gave wounds which never healed -- Dáinsleif -- and a bayonet or shrapnel inflicted wound will spread until it rips its victim apart, thanks to the curse of Skofnung. To top it all off, the blessing of Draupnir will prevent the Wehrmacht army from ever tiring and should one soldier fall, two will rise in his place. Nothing can escape, let alone survive, the wrath of Fáfnir's Luftwaffe, Jörmungandr's Kriegsmarine, or Vánagandr's Heer.

Michael’s No-man’s land cannot be crossed, and Michael cannot be reached without crossing No-man’s land. Should the battle somehow drag on, his army will only grow more powerful. The primitive manifestations of machines from decades past will develop and advance to become futuristic tools of devastation that the men of the present have yet to ever lay eyes upon.

>Beri'ah: “Deus ex Machina - Quis ut Deus?”
Michael’s second Beri'ah, his craving being “I want to triumph over evil! Sieg Heil Viktoria!"

Throughout history, the victors have been awarded the roles of heroes whereas the roles of the villains have been relegated to the defeated. If his army were to somehow be defeated, Michael would not, under any circumstances, allow for such a wicked injustice to taint his glorious Fatherland. “Deus ex Machina - Quis ut Deus?” -- Michael’s trump card -- allows him to become like God with the drawing of his sword and shield. Or rather, with the evanescent summoning of his Lord’s miraculous Dextera Domini from the heavens, as he is unable to wield it himself. When commanded by Michael, the holy sword will take the form of a giant levitating gauntlet that will always be more powerful than his opponents. By simply closing its fist, Michael can completely obliterate and erase the existence of everything in sight. However, the gauntlet cannot exhibit Excalibur's original range, accuracy, and speed. Nonetheless, His Hand is truly a dawn-bringer of miracles that can turn the tides of any battle as easily as it would the tides of the Red Sea.

[VIII - Tomás de Torquemada]

Tomás de Torquemada - A wretched, ill-fated girl who was forced to live her adolescence as a boy in order to avoid being branded and burned at the stake as a witch during the Spanish Inquisition. But alas, she was eventually unmasked by the Church. However, due to her exceptional circumstances along with her remarkable supernatural aptitude she was taken under their wing and was raised to become the Heretic Hunter.

Tamara’s relatively petite and delicate frame of youthful vitae betrays her age and wisdom. She is easily one of the oldest members of the Obsidian Round Table and she certainly does not lack the skills and resourcefulness to prove her seniority. Perhaps as a result of the one way road of her fate that she has walked over the course of centuries, she has earned the title of “master of all trades”. Born as a witch, raised as a knight, and lived as an assassin. In other words, she is well-versed when it comes to heretical grimoires, holy scriptures, and the art of the blade.

>Yetzirah: Probatio Diabolica
Probatio Diabolica -- a Holy Relic which houses other Holy Relics. True to its name, its existence is proof that the Devil does indeed exist. As such, the vast collection that resides within Tamara's portable pocket dimension of a storehouse consists of the numerous amount of magical items, mythical artifacts, cursed relics, Wicca instruments, and Church tools that she has gathered over the course of her life. In particular, her arsenal of Church tools includes but is not limited to the following:

A black hat which allows Tamara to mask her presence by becoming one with the world when worn.

>Vos Estis Sal Terrae
A crossbow which instigates the salinification of anything that its bolts pierce.

The chains which can bind gods and devils alike. The farther its target is from the realm of the natural, the stronger and faster the chains will be.

A flintlock pistol which rejects the existence of the occult with its lustrous bullets of silver. There exists no vampire, werewolf, or witch that can withstand its cleansing glint.

>Adolebitque ad veru
A cleric-blessed stake forged from robust oak that allows Tamara to sprout and launch hordes of stakes from within her territory when it is lodged into the ground. Those impaled shall have their very souls incinerated by the burning of the stake.

>Ferrum Crucem Frigora
A holy crucifix that is capable of warding against evil and danger with its powerful barrier.

>Uasis argenteis Sanctitatis
A never ending fountain of holy water that can heal all wounds, so long as its recipient is not accursed.

>Sanctus Ludwig Gladio
A righteous longsword that mimics the holy cross with its quillion. It can combine with its oversized rectangular sheath to form a greatsword that perfectly embodies the crucifix.

Tamara’s Gudou-type Beri'ah, (t)he(i)r craving being “I want to devote myself to something with no regrets.”

Tamara’s long life has been one laden with lamentation. She regretted living as a boy. She regretted ending her brother’s life just to preserve her own. She regretted taking on the role of the executioner. She regretted witnessing thousands of young girls’ faces cloud over with despair over the course of her life. Bloody hell, she even regretted betraying the syndicate.

A traitor to sex.
A traitor to kin.
A traitor to familia.
A traitor to life.
A traitor to Satan.
A traitor to God.

“Loyalty” and “devotion” are concepts completely foreign to her crossroads of history. But despite it all -- she wishes to pave her own path. Her own fate. A one-way road of devotion. Devotion to the girls she put to death. For centuries she has searched for a way to atone for her sins. She craves to return the gift of life to the girls that she executed, at the very least. To be their noble and chivalrous knight in shining armor on horseback is her dream. A childish desire perhaps partially derived from the idyllic tales of heroes and princesses that she read as a child. And so, Tamara pledged her loyalty to the Longinus Dreizehn Orden with no regrets, all for the sake of repentance. Nothing and no one shall get in the way of her one-way road.

Upon the vivification of her Beri'ah, Tamara will don her shining armor, mount a divine flying steed, and draw the Holy Lance of Olyndicus. “El Ingenioso Hidalgo Blanco Don Quijote de la Mancha” will allow Tamara’s speed and power to soar beyond heaven. When thrown, the Holy Lance of Olyndicus can pierce through time and space, allowing itself to skewer its targets’ bodies and souls BEFORE BEING THROWN with its unbending stria of certain demise. However, the lance will be irretrievable afterwards and her creation figment will collapse prematurely.

Should Tamara be empowered by the soul of her late brother Thomas, “El Ingenioso Hidalgo Blanco Don Quijote de la Mancha” will unleash its hegemony. He who favored the splendor of fantasy over the reality of foreknowledge will amplify the creation figment -- a power which overwrites reality with one's own desires -- even further. Thomas will support her sister’s indulgent fantasies by changing reality with the force of his own ideas. Once Tamara begins her joust, the tilting at windmills shall begin.

Any who oppose his sister shall have their desires deemed to be unfounded and vain. They will be the windmill to his beloved sister’s giant. The dragon destined to be felled by the blade of the chevalier. Nothing and no thing shall be able to harm his dear sister, for she is “fictitious” and “illusory”. All other fantasies will be rejected while the siblings’ fantasies will be propelled to even greater heights.

[IX - Samael Antaeus]

Valentina Lächert's surprisingly trite history betrays her frigid and stern countenance. Before joining the ranks of the Schutzstaffel, she was but a common woman who was madly in love. "Common" may be a bit of a stretch, what with her masculinity and perverted sadism, but a lovely lady nonetheless. However, the man she devoted her life to betrayed her and Valentina enacted a crime of passion by murdering the adulterous Don Juan and his wretched wench in cold blood.

>Assiah:
Samael’s Assiah allows her to emulate an ice age and hail down glaciers. She is a sadistic, cold-blooded ice queen capable of freezing and shattering everything in sight on a physical and spiritual level. There can be no life without warmth, and the heat produced by Samael’s Assiah approaches temperatures that can halt the movement electrons and photons in place. Though of course, she does not need to concern herself with petty matters such as speed or movement, for temperature is scalar. And even if Samael were to willingly allow her opponents the freedom of movement, their kinetic energy would be automatically and mercilessly siphoned from them to empower her.

Before her almighty cryomancy, all are but diamonds waiting to be shattered. When dealing with trifling and unworthy cur, however, Samael simply exterminates them by blooming crystalline frost flowers out of thin air at breakneck speeds to impale them.

>Yetzirah: Wärme bringt Leben, Kälte Tod
Samael’s Ahnenerbe which takes the form of stardust that was originally a glacial relic from a bygone ice age. The icy powder is the incarnation of absolute zero itself. It possesses a form that can transition between all 3 states of matter at will and enforces a perfect offense along with a perfect defense. Since her vessel is infused with the stardust, Samael's state of being is "frozen" and thus she cannot be melted or shattered like her ice sculptures -- her victims, that is. As an unstoppable void of thermal energy, anything that crosses it shall be swallowed whole by its hypothermic emptiness. One's resistance to cold matters not to Samael; warm-blooded and cold-blooded creatures alike shall all be frozen and subsequently broken.

The entirety of the stardust can be reunited to rebuild its original form -- a galactic comet of mass destruction capable of rendering all life on Earth extinct in the blink of an eye.

>Beri'ah: “Niflheimr Mistilteinn”

Samael’s first Hadou-type Beri'ah, her craving being “I want to rid the world of all its warmth”. “Niflheimr Mistilteinn” is Samael’s sword, which allows her to sap away and draw upon the energy of the entire universe itself. To put things into perspective: if the sun and the blade of Samael at her peak were to meet, the sun's heat and energy would be drained in no time. Additionally, the entropic sword can freeze concepts such as time and is capable of producing a microcosm of the heat death of the universe. If she so desires, Samael can release the energy absorbed and amassed over the course of her life as hellish heat blasts of ruination that can burn away her victims’ very souls.

>Beri'ah: “Neunter Kreis der Hölle: Cocytus”
Samael’s second Hadou-type Beri'ah, her craving being “I want to exile the betrayers to an eternity of punishment”. Once activated, Samael's enemies are dragged down into the frozen abode of treacherous sinners, the 9th Circle of the Underworld: Cocytus. A malefactor of treachery shall have his entire being frozen at a conceptual level. Their raison d'être will be to serve as garnish for the eternal hell that is completely devoid of life, death, and time. No salvation shall ever reach the sinners of Cocytus -- they will be forever stuck in a state of perpetual and eternal lamentation for they will never be allowed to repent.

[X - Rattenkönig]

>Assiah:
Konrad Geßner – The Rat King. The walking pestilence who is only capable of living off the scraps of others. The Rat King’s Assiah allows him to use his pores to discharge every virus in the book as well as pathogens that have yet to see the light of day. There exists no living organism that can withstand the Rat King’s terrible blight. Furthermore, just as one would expect, Rattenkönig’s body can employ all the physical abilities utilized by the common rodent.

>Yetzirah: La Légion de la Mort Noire
Rattenkönig’s Ahnenerbe, which takes the form of an endless swarm of deadly disease-carrying rats of various shapes and sizes. Crushing a single rat will do nothing to harm the army as a whole, thus one must eradicate the entire legion of endless rats should he or she desire to deal a mortal blow to Rattenkönig via Ahnenerbe destruction. The alternative fool's errand of striking Rattenkönig directly is in no way a wiser choice, however, with the reason being the sheer quantity of souls that reside within his vessel. Indeed, for he houses the souls of every single victim of the black plague. All 75 million of them. Though the quality of each soul is a different matter altogether. After all, the worth of a human felled by a measly rat is surely one that must be questioned.

The rats act as their King’s eyes, ears, and transceivers. By simply having a single one of his minions lie in wait on the opposite end of the world, he is allowed the option of instant disengagement from combat by taking the place of said minion. Furthermore, the rodents may be small, but the application of brute force is not alien to them. Their teeth can shred through superhard materials like butter and the act of killing a cockroach is simply elementary when compared with the daunting task of dealing with one of Rattenkönig's minions. Even without their fangs, durability, and deadly viruses, they are capable of overwhelming almost any foe with sheer numbers. With his seemingly infinite legion of pathogenic vermin, it would take Rattenkönig no longer than a week to reduce an entire country along with its people to mere ruins.

[XI - Corona Meretrix]

Lisa Dawn Goldstein -- Erdenkind’s true mother and one of the leading alchemists responsible for the creation of the magnum opus that is the resident of the Obsidian Round Table’s second seat, Shakyamuni. Although beautiful, she is but a blind cripple who has lost the use of her eyes and legs. Corona will forever be blindfolded and bound to her wheelchair. No thaumaturgy nor prosthetics may cure her body, for the stigma afflicting her eyes and legs seems to be a conceptual curse from a higher power. Perhaps her stigmata was a result of a failed experiment. Simple karma might also be the cause. Or maybe her legs gave out after bedding too many men. But alas, worrying about her roots will do little to change anything.

As a heretical harlot and a wise filius philosophorum, Corona is of course well versed when it comes to the Transmutation of Gold. With her Hermetic magic, she is able to freely manipulate the elements of the periodic table and create living golems. Interestingly enough, her body is a natural pseudo-drug factory capable of producing a variety of poisons, aphrodisiacs, medicines, performance enhancing drugs, and so on. To make up for her blindness, she has weaved as spell that allows her to see through the eyes of her familiars and golems. However, reclaiming her sight will impede her innate precognitive abilities.

>Assiah:
Corona’s Assiah allows her to extend ethereal threads which she can use to turn objects and people into her puppets. Outside of combat she mainly uses her threads to turn her own body into a marionette so that she may tread without the assistance of her wheelchair. When performing her duties as a member of the Obsidian Round Table however, she is tasked with using her strings to manipulate Shakyamuni and her golems. The threads of course can also be used to bind her enemies and to emulate telekinesis by moving objects with nonphysical means.

>Yetzirah: Rota Fortunae
Corona’s Ahnenerbe, the Wheel of Fortune, which takes the form of her wheelchair’s wheels. The Rota Fortunae passively tips the scales in Corona's favor and all negative karma in her vicinity can be directed towards anyone of her choosing. Additionally, the spinning of the Wheel can produce a variety of random and unpredictable effects, such as causing lightning to strike her foes in the middle of a clear night, and swathing a golem with the strings of fate can fortify its existence by solidifying its raison d'être and modus operandi. Furthermore, the Wheel grants Corona access to the Red String of Fate. By toying with the Red String, she can intertwine destinies. Besides having the potential to turn those bound together by it into lovers, it can cause them to share pain, emotion, and strength. Should Romeo be stabbed by a dagger, the damage will be mitigated and half of it will be transferred to Juliet. Should one of them die, however, then the other will follow suit without hesitation.

With the full potential of the Zodiac’s merry-go-round, Corona can enslave destiny by weaving her threads of fate with the quantum strings that make up reality -- she can make everything go her way and according to plan. She will be able to achieve any end she wishes as long as it is not completely impossible. Corona must beware though, since one who interferes with fate must pay an enormous price somewhere down the line.

[XII - Nebrophonos]
Soul count: ~1 800 000

Nebrophonos, or Amadeus/Diana Jäger, is the apex predator. The hunter of all things. As the hunter she must always be stronger, faster, and smarter than her prey. Her peerless senses which make even her very own all-rending fangs and claws seem dull in comparison allow her to track anything under any conditions and to sense the weaknesses of her prey in order to exploit them so that she may capture, kill, and devour her quarry by any means necessary. Although her hide's durability falls short of Magnum's dark matter and Brynhildr's shields, Diana compensates for it with her body's reactive adaptation and the power to emulate the abilities of almost any life form. Bellumque amor leges non habent.

It would be inappropriate to call her more beast than man, not because of her deceivingly delicate beauty, but rather because of the fact that man is “The Most Dangerous Game”.

>Yetzirah: Die Wilde Jagd: Asgårdsreien
Diana’s Holy Relics which take the forms of a chariot and her two curved sabers.

Elaphoi Khrysokeroi -- her chariot -- was forged with the corpora of the deer that used their horns of gold to gouge and kill all who sought to hunt them down. It serves its purpose as Diana’s limbs by chasing and mowing down her prey. For both prey and predator alike, speed is one of the main factors that determines who lives and who dies. Ergo, there exists no being that can outrun her -- the chariot boasts speed and power that easily exceeds that of VIII's Sleipnir.

On a side note, Diana is no stranger to the contemporary in any way and should she choose to, she can have her chariot take the form of a Zundapp KS750 motorcycle.

Echidna and Typhon -- her blades, each engraved by the Wolfsangel -- execute their duties as Diana’s fangs and claws by eviscerating her prey and turning them into nothing more than mere meat – their only remaining purpose to serve as nourishment for those higher up in the food chain. One cannot gain nourishment if they lack the means to kill and feed. Therefore, there exists no being that can withstand her jaws.

With the Storm Ruler of the Sturmwind, Typhon, Diana can create and manipulate an otherworldly zephyr to wreak havoc and ward away all harm. Her hurricane can prohibit anything from ever reaching or touching her; regardless of how much time one is given or how much effort one exerts, just as Achilles was unable to reach the tortoise of Zeno, nothing shall be able to best the spatial distortion of her hurricane and reach the eye of the storm. Diana's cyclone isn't limited to simply rejecting physical contact -- it can make her completely undetectable by refracting all forms of waves. By condensing her hurricane, Diana can become a tornado of terror capable of sucking up and shredding apart anything in her path. With the further compression of her wind, Diana can mold a razor-sharp gale that allows her to cut through anything both physically and metaphysically.

With the Hideous and Poisonous Mother of all Monsters, Echidna, Diana can become the nemesis -- the Achilles Heel -- of all who dare to face her in combat. The enigmatic venom which coats the serrated blade has no name, no identity. Consequently, it is able to paint over itself with the identities of others. That is to say, the sword's stigmatic poison can automatically become the weakness of anything it touches.

By connecting Typhon and Echidna at their hilts, they will fuse to form the three-pronged longbow -- Kerberos. Aside from being able to employ the combined might of its parents' wind and poison, the Bow of Kerberos can conceptualize and manifest the Twelve Labours of Heracles. The Ninefold Bolt of the Lernaean Hydra, for example, can extinguish nine of Prometheia's flames instantly with the pull of just one arrow. If Diana is in the right mood, she can have the bow take the form of a Karabiner 98k rifle.

Despite her supposed lack of a creation figment, Diana is one of Lucifer's Erzengel and she is doubtlessly the deadliest knight of the Obsidian Round Table. Anything less would disgrace her prideful status as the Gold's most faithful and loyal wolfhound.

Her all-powerful Lord and Father is the only one in existence capable of subduing her bestial wrath and her fellow Erzengel are the only ones that possess any hopes or chances of ever rivaling her. Everything else is essentially fodder. Or at least, that was what she had believed before encountering the second "Gold" -- Midas.

>Beri'ah: "Helheimr Mánagarmr - Die Rache des Actaeon”

Diana’s Gudou-type Beri'ah, her craving being “I want the hunters to become the hunted”. Her Beri'ah is one that can only manifest itself in situations where Diana becomes the hunted -- situations where she herself becomes the victim of beasts of prey superior to herself.

Natural Selection – The aimless and indiscriminate process whereby organisms better adapted to their environment tend to survive and produce more offspring.

The Food Chain – A hierarchical series of organisms each dependent on the next as a source of food.

Both systems are rather cruel and unfair, don’t you think? Just as sinners have nothing to answer for and just as saints have no true virtue to their name, there are those who survive, those who die, those who are at the top, and those who are at the bottom. But why should she be at the bottom? Who or what decided it all? In spite of the irony of her craving, Diana is not content with a world in which power is merely given, not earned – would you willingly bend the knee to a throne built upon such falsities? Nay. She will rebel against such laws with every fiber of her being. She will fight fire with fire. Unfairness with unfairness.

Earlier, I mentioned that it would be rather inappropriate to call her more beast than man, correct? Well, I would like to retract my previous presumptuous statement. Once Diana awakens her Beri'ah, she will transform into a pale moon-white beast that possesses the features of both a wolf and a deer at the time of activation. She will become the living incarnate of her enemies’ weaknesses, regardless of whether or not they are flawless, and will be capable of rapidly evolving in response to any and all competition, physical or conceptual. Hence why I said that she possesses the features of both a wolf and a deer “at the time of activation”. Growing wings, gills, two extra heads, a fur coat of fire, or even an entirely new body after being completely annihilated would be mere child’s play. Her body will constantly transcend and rewrite itself without limit and never again will she lose a game of rock, paper, scissors. As the ultimate, perfect life form, she CANNOT and WILL NOT be defeated.

>Atziluth: "Ex Aequilibrium - Pari Passu"
A pseudo-emanation manifested by the relentless evolution instigated by Diana's creation figment, her craving being "I desire true equality". After its activation every being will have their full power, true potential, and karma collected and evenly redistributed among one another. "Ex Aequilibrium - Pari Passu" will create a perfect hyper-dimensional equilibrium that balances all that exists.

Diana's Heaven is an idealistic world devoid of despair -- each and every soul will be bestowed an equal amount of hope and happiness. Even if someone fails to claim their share of happiness in one life, they will be able to reincarnate so that they may achieve bliss in their next life.

Heikō's Kamungara, the physical manifestation of a Hadou God's Law, takes the form of a giant pair of scales balanced by the Eastern and Western Zodiacs on both ends.

An ominous magician and alchemist who created Ewigkeit and established the Obsidian Round Table. He was the one responsible for turning its members from a clique of elite army officers merely dabbling in the occult into a den of genuine demons. Not only is Loki the one sworn friend of the Table's leader, he also stands as the only being capable of matching his sublime prowess.

Although his position could be considered that of a mentor and a father, the other members of the Table -- with the exception of their master -- shun him as a hateful taboo. His whereabouts have remained a mystery for the past six decades or so.

Not too long ago Shiro Azuma, our "Zarathustra", and his family suffered an unfortunate accident which resulted in his family's passing. Although he himself cannot recall the specifics of the accident due to the brain trauma it gave him, not a single day passed without Shiro blaming himself for their deaths and not a single night passed without Shiro being plagued by a horrible nightmare. He could not remember the last time he was permitted to have a pleasant dream; and thanks to the dementia he received from the accident, his everyday reality has been distorted by unspeakable delusions. Shiro loathes his present and he fears what the uncertain future might have in store for him even when he knows that he doesn't have much to lose anymore. He is unable to even take his own life to escape all the pain, since he dreads the thought of what might come after death just as he dreads the unknown future. Would he burn in hell or would he be reunited with his beloved family? Or perhaps both? There was no way for him to know. Change or stagnation -- neither are an option for Shiro. Truly a tragic and pitiful man with nowhere to flee to, what with every single one of his waking diurnal moments being just as deplorable as his nocturnal nightmares and all. Ah, if only he could just return to the good old days. If only he could see his sister's smile again. If only he didn't make that foolish mistake. If only they didn't die. If only he didn't kill them. If only his nightmare could end. If only he could wake up. If only his dreams could come true. If only things once lost could return.

"Cogito ergo sum -- I think, therefore I am". If Shiro wasn't allowed to do the impossible of returning to the past, then perhaps he could simply stop existing by halting his thought altogether. But alas, that too is nothing but a fool's errand. As a matter of fact, Shiro had even cackled at himself for considering such an impossible task. Even a good night's sleep was impossible for him, after all. Perhaps his sanity was not the only thing that he had been losing; for his rationality was questionable as well. The Azuma family's maid and Shiro's friends worry for him every day.

On a side note, Shiro and Reiji (Midas) happen to be unacquainted as yet. If the likes of Reiji were to learn of Shiro's grievous backstory and his harrowing situation then he would undoubtedly, for the lack of better words, "lose his shit".

One night, as Shiro finally begins contemplating suicide for the lack of better options, he meets a strange but beautiful girl who bears an eerie resemblance to his late little sister. In fact, the girl would be the perfect spitting image of his sister were it not for her surreal silver hair and spectral mauve eyes. She introduces herself as the Maiden of the Necronomicon, Geträumte Sünden, and states that she is looking for her älterer Bruder, Hänsel. Shiro is instantly entranced and does not want to be separated from Gretel, and asks her to live with him. She agrees.

And so begins the Sabbath, our Grand Guignol.

>Assiah:
Azazel’s Assiah allows him to project fractions of his astral body into the real world to perform menial tasks such as defending, attacking, jumping, grappling, etc. Furthermore, he can project illusions potent enough to cause actual pain and peer into the subconscious of anyone within his immediate vicinity. Should he chance upon someone while they are unconscious, he can invade their dreams. When Azazel is dormant, he can task his astral body with chores such as guarding his physical body, gathering information, or eavesdropping. Azazel’s astral body is however incredibly limited in regards to its ability to interact with reality when he is asleep. Every now and then he’ll even chance upon a prophetic dream in his sleep.

>Yetzirah: Necronomicon: Kinder und Hausmärchen - Träume von Hänsel und Gretel
The Necronomicon is a grimoire that appears in the stories of horror writer Howard Phillips Lovecraft and his followers. Azazel’s Ahnenerbe -- the Book of the Dead -- expresses herself by conceptualizing and manifesting the phantasmagorias of those present as either abilities or tools. The forms of the Necronomicon can range from the sweetest and most enticing of illusions that can enthrall any and all who bear witness to them to the most horrifying and revolting of nightmares that can make even the skin of the devil himself crawl. However, the Necronomicon's capabilities depend solely on what eidola are produced, making her quite the wild card. In addition, damage done to any of the manifested apparitions will deal no damage to Azazel himself unless he were to materialize his own psyche. As such, logic dictates that he should not expose his own soul and that he should instead weaponize the desires and phobias of others, if not his opponents'. If damage done to his own phantasmagorias is to be rebounded back to himself, then conversely, damage done to the phantasmagorias of his opponents should follow suit. That peculiar trait of the Necronomicon aside though, it would be rather strange for someone in their right mind to willingly reveal one's own desires and fears to their enemies.

Azazel himself is bedeviled by 13 main fears: aichmophobia, agnostophobia, algophobia, carnophobia, chronophobia, hemophobia, mysophobia, ommetaphobia, pragmatophobia, selenophobia, teraphobia, traumatophobia, and trypophobia. As such, his unholy relic Gretel will habitually take the form of a giant two-meter long butcher's knife covered by bloodshot eyes and filthy, rotten flesh. Its handle is linked to a six-meter long small intestine which Azazel can use to extend his range even further by wielding the ax like a flail. The gluttonous ax thirsts and hungers for flesh and blood; by focusing Azazel can have it ignore and phase through anything that won't satisfy its palate. Azazel's eyes coupled with his agnostophobia and chronophobia can bestow him with omnidirectional vision, the ability to perceive the near future, and heightened insight. His hemophobia amalgamated with his selenophobia and teraphobia can grant him the abilities and traits of a blood-sucking vampire and his trypophobia allows him to cleave open portals which he can use to teleport, hide objects or people, and divert or launch attacks. And finally, the Necronomicon can utilize Azazel's algophobia and traumatophobia to grant him monstrous strength and speed relative to the pain or damage that he receives -- even self-inflicted wounds can empower him. The celerity and thew of one arm shall be increased tenfold with the loss of the other and a sunlight-induced immolation of his vampiric body can magnify his power by a hundredfold. Alternatively, Azazel can instead opt to exploit his selenophobia to reflect attacks. This ability can manifest in more ways the one; his "reflection" isn't limited to simply bouncing his opponents' attacks back at them. For example, anyone seeking to excavate Azazel's insides must risk being welcomed by rib cage of the Eiserne Jungfrau.

Azazel's delicate, almost feminine appearance is simply bizarre when juxtaposed with his grotesque Ahnenerbe and his crude yet somehow elegant berserkergang fighting style.

>Beri'ah: “Bifröst Perspektivismus - Eine Faust Ouvertüre”

Azazel’s Hadou Beri'ah, his craving being “I want to be embraced by the cradle of sweet dreams”. With the activation of his Beri'ah Azazel will transform into a phantasm of unreality: his body will traverse the ephemeral rainbow path of Bifröst to reach the astral plane of dreams, all to escape the cruel and nightmarish reality in which he can find no repose. His “lucid dream” will have his entire astral body take his place in the real world and only a tiny fraction -- approximately 1/10th -- of the damage that Azazel’s astral body receives can be transmitted to his real body. Furthermore, his astral body is not bound by the laws of the physical realm and thus it can move and ravage however it pleases. Also, it must be made clear that "Eine Faust Ouvertüre" does not make Azazel himself stronger, per se. Rather, his surroundings -- including the fundamental forces of nature -- will be nothing but imaginary props to him so long as his creation figment of subjective reality is active. The Herculean task of shoving aside a mountain will be no different from the simple procedure of casually wafting smoke. "Reality" shall make way for Azazel and his lucid dream.

Once his dream is refined, Azazel and his surroundings can become anything that his imagination permits. His hands will even be able to grasp the impossible feats of erasing thought, rewinding time, and making delusions "real". But due to the ambiguity of his craving, it would be appropriate to regard his creation figment as a "jack of all trades, master of none". When pitted against the likes of a "master", that is to say, a more explicit craving, Azazel's subjective reality will likely falter if his will is not powerful enough.

Beri'ah ― Amor fati - Eine Faust Intermezzo!"

"Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results".

Azazel’s second Beri'ah(?) which automatically plays its requiem upon his release from the despotism of fate and life, his craving being “I want to wake up from this nightmare”. Whenever Azazel is granted the sweet repose of death, time will react and flow in reverse in order to invalidate his death along with every event that led up to it. Yes, almost as if his death was nothing but a part of a bad dream. Everything will be reset to at least 24 hours before Azazel’s death. Naturally, he and everyone else will forget the erased time as they would a normal dream, but the incessant maw of foreknowledge will grow ever stronger each and every time Azazel's requiem is played.

>Beri'ah: "Schlotternächte - Eine Faust Scherzo"

"Who rides there so late through the night dark and drear?
The father it is, with his infant so dear;
He holdeth the boy tightly clasp'd in his arm,
He holdeth him safely, he keepeth him warm.

Beri'ah ― Schlotternächte - Eine Faust Scherzo--"

Azazel's third Beri'ah, type Gudou, which he uses in conjunction with Tamara's Holy Relic and craving. "Eine Faust Scherzo" will transform Azazel into a "Knightmare" -- The Headless Horseman. The Dullahan.

The Dullahan's whip is made of a human corpse's spine and the wagon he sometimes uses is made up of various funereal objects, such as candles in its skulls to light the way. The Dullahan can barrel through and trample over whatever is in its path, but when the Dullahan stops riding, it is when someone is due to die: the Dullahan calls out their name, at which point they will immediately perish on all levels including spiritual. Furthermore, there is no way to bar the road against a Dullahan -- all locks and gates shall open on their own for the Dullahan and his dark horse. Nonetheless, the Dullahan is frightened of gold, and even a single gold pin can drive him away.

>Beri'ah: "Omnia Causa Fiunt - Eine Faust Finale"
Tempus - The indefinite continued progress of existence and events in the past, present, and future regarded as a whole. Azazel's right hand.

Causalitas - The relation that holds between two temporally simultaneous or successive events when the first event (the cause) brings about the other (the effect). Azazel's left hand.

Azazel's final Beri'ah obtained after receiving the Mercurial gift of "disce libens", his craving being "I want to live in the past". It transforms him into the anthropomorphous incarnation of the Nuclear Chaos -- "the Blind Idiot God". As one would expect, its physical form is simply too horrible for description. By far the most "normal" characteristics of Azazel's final form aside from its humanoid structure would be the myriad of all-ending tenebrous tendrils sprawled across its stygian body and the third eye resting on his forehead. In this form, Azazel is able to utilize his craving of wanting to live in the past to amalgamate the past, present, and future. The blood that courses through Azazel's veins is analogous to the flow of time itself. As a herald of yore, Azazel will always precede everything else. There can be no second meeting without a first meeting. Even if Azazel were to be pitted against the one who is "the fastest", in order to be fast-moving one must proceed with the act of movement beforehand. Without velocity, there can be no acceleration. In order for something to be disposed of as burnable trash, it must first be classified as such. For something to end, it must begin. Anything or anyone within his territory that seeks to beget change must first receive permission from Azazel.

For simplicity's sake, let "A" be the past, "B" be the present, and "C" be the future.

By striking at the empty space of the past (A) which was once formerly occupied, Azazel can damage the respective occupant that currently resides in the present (B). By taking the future in which he is struck down by Diana's arrows (C), and redirecting the damage back to its point of origin (A), Azazel can turn the hunter into hunted. By accelerating the flow of time by hundreds of billions of years per second via the merging of B and C, Azazel can reduce anything to mere dust. By outright removing C from the equation, any undesirable effect can be expunged. By outright removing B from the equation, Azazel can erase his targets from sight. By outright removing A from the equation, Azazel can completely negate his opponents' wills to fight and even eliminate their geneses. By rearranging A, B, and C, Azazel can reverse cause and effect to perform a play from ending to beginning. By throwing A, B, and C out the window, the cogs of time and causality will cease to turn.

>Beri'ah: "König Karminrote - Eine Faust Encore"
Azazel's post ultimo Beri'ah, the addendum. Hackneyed though it may be, it is his aesthetic "finishing move". With his third eye, Azazel can see the "future". As a supplement to the future's gift to the past, "Eine Faust Encore" allows Azazel to move in a time where he completely erases, or "skips" a portion of that time for up to twelve seconds. During this time, the events that would have played out during those twelve seconds play out as they normally would for everyone except Azazel, but they would be aware that these actions had already occurred when time resumes normally. Azazel however is free to do whatever he pleases while his enemies dance to the prearranged mercurial tune. This means that instead of going from A to B to C, "Eine Faust Encore" makes it so that he can go straight from A to C. The actions of moving from B to C still remain and did happen, but everyone besides Azazel is unaware that they had already moved. Furthermore, the causality of anyone or anything besides Azazel has no place in his dream. For example, if Azazel is shot down by Michael's army when his time erasure is taking place, because that event no longer exists, Azazel will emerge unharmed, for the bullets had already passed through his body when time is restored. On the other hand any change caused by Azazel during the erased time, such as for example, the incinerating of Samael, is translated into an effect. With the end of the twelfth movement and the beginning of the thirteenth, the encore, even the likes of Lucifer's Trinity shan't come out unscathed, for they are already dead. It just works.

>Atziluth: "Amantes Amentes - Somnia Vincit Amor"
The manifestation of Gretel’s Law, her desire being "I want to love and embrace all". With her loving embrace, the multiverse will be shattered to pieces: every sentient being in existence will be isolated and confined inside the boundaries of their own dreams -- forever. Everyone will be divided and become the Throne rulers of their own inner worlds.

>Atziluth: "Laudator Temporis Acti - Allzumenschliches"
"Let the departed times remain beautiful, pristine, and untainted".

Should Azazel fully complete his emanation, the entirety of existence and reality will become a part of his dream. If he were to be roused from his peaceful slumber, his dream will cease to exist. That is to say, any emanation that follows would be equivalent to the complete destruction of all that exists. Within Azazel's dream, an undesirable "tomorrow" will never arrive and everyone shall be granted the rights to retreat to the eternal happiness of bygone days. "Laudator Temporis Acti - Allzumenschliches" will create a perfect paradise of regression for those who loathe the ephemeral present and those who fear the unknown future.

Yamaxanadu and Gensō Mangekyō's Kamungara, the physical manifestation of a Hadou God's Law, takes the form of a countless amount of shattered rhombicosidodecahedron kaleidoscope prisms. Change is without beginning nor end, the origin of origins, the architect of reality, the engine of fate, and the end of all things. All things are born from change, shaped by change, moved by change, weakened by change, destroyed by change, and erased by change. All that ever happened and ever will are expressions of change. Before any change or effect can take place within or outside existence, Yamaxanadu, Mangekyō's overseer, must first approve of it as the precedential adjudicator so as to prevent the beloved past from being defiled. Yamaxanadu is nigh-omniscient via his bond with the infinite number of parallel realities and as such he is incapable of making poor judgments. Even if Yamaxanadu were to commit a blunder and allow an undesirable effect to occur within the Dream, he is able to rescind any and every effect without resistance. Furthermore, Yamaxanadu can draw upon an infinite well of energy and power from the endless number of alternate realities and should he so choose to, he can rearrange the fragmented pieces of his kaleidoscopes to rewrite the timeline of any and every universe.

[Shimizu Minami]

Minami is Shiro and Akira's closest childhood friend and neighbor. She is the head of her school's Archery Club and unlike the gloomy Shiro, Minami is bright and sociable, her fame further amplified by her national-level archery skills. She has a generally rough personality, but when it comes to Shiro, she's prone to worrying and being fussy. She has a tendency to try and act the older sister from time to time, but she neither looks, nor feels the part.

[Kawakami Shinobu]

Shinobu is the 23(?) year old maid and secretary of the Azuma family. Her extraordinary skills, especially her knife-handling expertise, aside, she is a humble and cheerful woman who is devoted entirely to her work. She never made any objections to orders given by Shiro's parents and she rarely found herself at odds with Shiro and his sister. Shinobu also tends to tease Shiro about his relationships with others, as well as say various things to Shiro to make him feel embarrassed. If it weren't for her, Shiro probably would not have bothered waking up and going to school every day after the passing of his family.

[X (Former) - ???]

Unbeknownst to Shiro and his friends, Shinobu is the former No. X of the Longinus Dreizehn Orden. She is a descendant of a clan of ninja that had allied with them during World War II. As a covert operative, the quantity of souls that she has consumed falls short of the rest of the Obsidian Round Table. Be that as it may, she compensates for her lack of quantity with pure quality. Over the course of the 20th century, she certainly was not malingering while her fellow knights were slaughtering the masses and opening Swastikas all across the world for the sake of their ritualistic crusade. Many important figures and world leaders -- including but not limited to: Archduke Franz Ferdinand, Nicholas II, Reinhard Heydrich, Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, Indira Gandhi, Martin Luther King Jr., Malcom X, and John F. Kennedy -- were all in fact personally slain by Shinobu. Needless to say, it would take much more than brute force to be able to carry out assassinations of such magnitude. As a shinobi among shinobi, Shinobu is a master of ninjutsu and is also quite well versed in the mystical arts of the East. Bending shadows, splitting into multiple bodies, paralyzing with nothing but her gaze, and even becoming one with the world are mere simple matters to someone with her abilities. Like Tamara, Shinobu had already long abandoned the realm of the natural before joining the Longinus Dreizehn Orden.

Shinobu, or rather, Hikari, possesses no moniker, for she is but a mere shadow. The shadow of her deceased twin sister, to be precise.

Shinobu, Hikari's sister, was a prodigy. Not unlike the likes of Cyrus, she was proficient at everything: academics, calligraphy, cooking, painting, persuasion, music, ninjutsu, you name it. Meanwhile, Hikari was for all intents and purposes a failure in comparison. She was always living in her sister's shadow. Not a single day passed without her receiving the blunt, and sometimes sharp, end of her parents' and masters' discipline. But despite all her suffering, Hikari did not hate her sister. As a matter of fact she adored and admired Shinobu, and not just because she loved her back and stood up for her against their parents' wrath. If Hikari felt otherwise, how could she grow to be more like her first-rate sister?

When Shinobu met her untimely end during an assignment one fateful night, a drastic change occurred within Hikari. She fervently believed that she herself should have been the one to die instead of her flawless sister. And that's when it hit her -- aside from their wide gap in talent and personality, they were perfectly identical twins. All she had to do was return with the news that "Hikari" had died and the clan would be none the wiser. In fact, they would probably rejoice in secret at the news of the burden's passing. And so from thereon after, "Hikari" was dead. "Shinobu" went on to achieve greatness for herself and her clan and eventually joined the Longinus Dreizehn Orden to undertake the noble task of resurrecting her beloved sister.

>Yetzirah: Rote Witwe
Shinobu's Ahnenerbe, which takes the form of a dagger accompanied by a myriad of steel wires. Once bound by the wires of the Red Widow, there can be no escape. Its ability to bind is conceptual in nature -- no insect caught by the spider's web can break free. However, aside from its aptitude for trapping prey, Rote Witwe is not particularly special -- its sharpness only slightly surpasses the realm of the natural and the potency of the dagger's venom, despite its ability to melt its victims' insides, is easily outshined by the likes of Diana's toxic blood. Shinobu's true strength resides with her skills as a shinobi. The Rote Witwe is just another tool; nothing more, nothing less. For example, Shinobu can amplify the cutting power of her dagger and wires by inducing powerful alternating currents and extremely high frequency vibrations.

>Beri'ah: "Shade and Darkness - Svartálfaheimr"

Beri'ah -- Shade and Darkness - Svartálfaheimr--"

Shinobu's Gudou-type Beri'ah, her craving being "I want to be someone else". When invoked, Shinobu will gain the ability to meld with the shadows themselves, granting her their properties. As a shadow Shinobu is intangible; to defeat the shadow one must completely erase any and all light shining upon the battlefield.

Anyone who becomes caught or has their shadow caught by Shinobu's umbra will be completely paralyzed and unable to move as if they were caught in a massive spider web. From thereon, she can stop her victims' blood flow or even manipulate their bodies as if they were nothing but mere "shadow puppets". To assist with capture, Shinobu is capable of transforming her shadows into massive monsters or fang-covered tentacles to envelop or tear apart her foes. The shadows can devour her foes' souls whole to prevent them from ever escaping her grasp. Shinobu can also utilize her shadows to rip information directly from her victims' minds and souls as well as dispose of any evidence of her killings.

Hikari's true Gudou-type Beri'ah, her craving being "I want to be myself". When invoked, Hikari will gain the ability to metamorphose into pure light, granting her its speed and characteristics. Harming her luminosity physically is inconceivable as light is swift, invulnerable, and ephemeral. However, Hikari herself will not be able to deal substantial damage to her enemies unless she were to sacrifice her absolute invulnerability by transforming into solid light. On the bright side, doing so will not impair her alacrity in any way, shape, or form, and speed equals power. Furthermore, it should be noted that "Die Frau ohne Schatten - Ljósálfheimr" grants Hikari celerity that far exceeds the speed of light, as the speed of 299 792 458 m/s is simply added onto Hikari's normal speed. Even the likes of Brynhildr and Diana will be hard-pressed if pitted against the Claiomh Solais. To outrun Hikari, one must crave to be "the fastest".

As a side note, it must be noted that the light of Ljósálfheimr isn't necessarily superior to the darkness of Svartálfaheimr.

[Tendō Kaguya]

Kaguya is Shiro's half-Japanese, half-German upperclassman. Her outstanding beauty, coupled with her mysterious aloofness, has lead to her status as a rather popular figure at school. Not a single school day passes without a love letter ending up in Kaguya's shoe locker in spite of her tendency to keep a steady distance from others.

"The moon is beautiful, isn't it?"

Contrary to what one might expect, however, Kaguya has another side to her that betrays her visage's usual lack of emotion. She is a wild eccentric with a perfervid love for art. Incidentally, as if she wasn't peculiar enough, her home also happens to be a shrine. She diligently handles most of the chores at home since its only other resident, her beloved guardian, was bereft of her sight. Culinary art will forever remain a mystery to Kaguya, however. Nonetheless, it is likely that she will become a fine wife someday. As a matter of fact, her passion for art and her maternal nature are the key factors that lead to her befriending Shiro in the first place.

[VI - Elektra Sonnenkind]

In actuality, Kaguya is the key component for the Obsidian Round Table's Transmutation of Gold. She is its Viriditas -- Sonnenkind Drei. As a safety measure for the ritual, Kaguya's body has been bestowed the ability to reflect any and all fatal harm.

As Kaguya attunes the Ark of Covenant, a compound of Swastikas layered upon Swastikas throughout Harasuwa City and the world, the 64 gates are opened, and the souls are gathered from around the Earth. Then, she starts to chant with the Three Erzengel, raising Lucifer to Atziluth status.

[Noro Akira]

Akira has been Shiro's best friend since childhood. He was born into a rich family, on April 28th. His mother died during childbirth and Akira himself barely managed to receive the gift of life. To add insult to injury, his birth month, the fourth month of the year, represents bad luck and death while the number of his birth day represents good fortune and wealth according to certain Chinese beliefs. Evidently, he was born with an extraordinary type of luck and as a result his life has always been shaped around moments of extreme good luck and extreme bad luck -- until becoming friends with Shiro 11 years ago, that is. From that point onward, good fortune and good fortune alone favored Akira like no other. Shiro, on the other hand...

Unfortunately, the friendship between the two of them was finally shattered to pieces two months ago when Akira tried to free Shiro from his guilt and depression. Akira's poor choice of actions and words lead to a vicious fight which hospitalized the both of them.

On an unrelated note: Despite being a normal human with no connection to the occult, Akira can go toe to toe against the likes of Magnum with nothing but his peak human athleticism, brilliant wit, bizarre luck, and monetary assets.

>Beri'ah: "Endless Breaker"
In spite of his eccentricity, Akira refuses to acknowledge the existence of fate and magic.

Akira's passive Hadou-type Beri'ah, his craving being "I don't believe in that shit; magic ain't fucking real, so get outta my face". It is a barrier that grants conceptual immunity to anything supernatural -- Akira can negate all magic, psychic, superhuman, and divine powers such as God's blessings on physical contact. It also provides him with a degree of passive defense against certain spells and he can even interfere with some spells just by being in their vicinity. Though Akira's ability to deny the supernatural is wondrous indeed, he cannot negate natural forces such as a person's life force and the barrier offers no protection against anything that is natural such as normal guns or swords. Furthermore, it cannot negate the natural consequences that result from the usage of supernatural powers, such as the natural fire sparked by Prometheia's unnatural flames.

However, the Tachibana clan was ultimately defeated 11 years prior and Swastikas 48 through 56 were opened with their souls -- in part due to Tsubaki's actions of betrayal.
