  1. >Plunk.
  2. >That was both the sound of Lori's heart and her phone as she watched the water swirl around in the toilet.
  3. >A scream belted out of her mouth as she dove her arm back into the murky waters to retrieve it.
  4. >She needed to text Carol before she got to the haunted house fundraiser.
  5. >She could not lose her phone.
  6. >Fighting back the deep suction that Lana's customizing had afforded the commode, Lori could almost feel her arm coming out of its socket.
  7. >But she was not about to lose.
  8. >Her enormous butt fell to the floor as she slid her feet to the wall, using every ounce of strength she could to stave the flushing off.
  9. >Such efforts left her exhausted, and she gladly sighed in relief as she realized her phone was still in her hand.
  10. >Yet as she tried to pull it out, she realized she could not.
  11. >It was stuck.
  12. >And if her phone was stuck, then so was her hand.
  13. >There was not enough room for them both to properly fit inside, and so there would be no room for them to get out.
  14. >No hope for her to save her phone.
  15. >Or to fight her current situation of being stuck in a toilet two hours before.
  16. >Everyone else had already left to either trick or treat or go to a party.
  17. >Not even Lucy was around.
  18. >She and her friends were at the event she was supposed to go to!
  19. >So much for helping to save the Spotted Hazelnut Bat from extinction.
  20. >Try and scream as she might, Lori knew in her heart no one was coming back to help her.
  21. >Her mascara began to run down her face as she cried at her secret humiliation.
  22. >Weeks of planning and effort and she wouldn't receive so much as a thank you for all her hard work.
  23. >As the fire in her belly died down, she laid her weary head on the slightly wet toilet seat, not caring enough to get up from what was likely her own urine.
  24. >Tonight was going to be a long night.
