Chapter 06: Magical Cannon Girl

The Magical Phone displayed the burning National Highway.
魔法的终端机上，显示着正在燃烧的国道。

“Not good… we have to go help!”
“不好……必须要去救援！”

“I’ll go with you, Snow White.”
“我也跟白雪一起去。”

“That… that’s right! Let’s go!”
“也……也对呢！一起去吧！”

The Magical Phone displayed the burning National Highway.
魔法终端机上，显示着正在燃烧的国道。

“What what what what what should we do! We have to go help!”
“怎怎怎怎怎怎么办！要去救援啊！”

“Leave that to the other Magical Girls.”
“救援就交给其他的魔法少女吧。”

“But… ah.”
“但是……那个。”

“We’ll go attack the Magical Girls who are helping out. Tama, Minael, get ready.”
“我们去袭击前往救援的魔法少女。小玉，米奈儿，快点准备”

“O-okay…”
“好，好，好……”

The Magical Phone displayed the burning National Highway.
魔法的终端机上，显示着正在燃烧的国道。

“Eh? Master, aren’t you going~pon? I think it would be veryfun if you went ~pon.”
“咦？主人你不去pon？我觉得去的话一定会有很有趣的pon”

“Granted, that might be a possibility.”
“虽说也有可能是这样。”

“Somehow, your answer seems kind of vague ~pon.”
“感觉你回答地很含糊pon？”

“Don’t worry about my vague answer. More importantly, Winterprison was killed; is that true? Who did it?”
“我回答地含糊不清这一点就别管了，比起这个来，寒冬牢狱被杀了这是真的吗？是被谁干掉的？”

“I think it’s more important to worry about your strategy for the future instead of an opponent who’s no longer around ~pon.”
“我觉得比起已经退场的对手，更应该考虑的应该是今后的对策pon”

“But it bothers me.”
“但总是觉得很在意啊。”

When she saw the person pointing a gun at the National Highway, her brain boiled over, and she reflexively jumped from the broom. Top Speed seemed to be shouting something, but she did not hear it at all.
看到大楼上架起枪械瞄准着国道的那个人身影的一瞬间，头脑就沸腾了起来，条件反射般地从扫帚上跳了下来。虽然最高速度好像在怒鸣般地喊着什么，但却完全没有传入耳中。

“Too late, little lady.”
“太晚了，小姑娘。”

She cast aside her sniper rifle and drew her pistol from the holster at her waist, and then Calamity Mary pointed its muzzle at Ripple, who had just landed. The raging flames of the National Highway dyed the background behind her bright red, and the backlighting meant that there was no way of telling the look in her eyes. All she could see was the movement of her mouth and the light reflected by her bared teeth.
抛开狙击枪，从腰间的枪套中拔出手枪，灾厄玛丽将枪口指向了刚着地的波纹。下方国道上熊熊燃烧着的火焰把她的身后的背景照得通红，而且因此造成的背光导致无法分辨她现在用怎样的眼神看过来。只能看到她嘴上的动作，她牙齿露出来反射出光亮。

Calamity Mary fired a shot, and Ripple deflected the bullet into the night with her reverse-gripped sword. She fired several more, but the bullets were still deflected. Her previous fear of guns had been completely replaced by her boiling rage.
灾厄玛丽用手枪开了一枪，波纹反手握刀将子弹弹向了夜空。之后又连发了几枪，但子弹依然被弹开。过去被枪械所指时的那种恐惧感，如今已被翻滚着的愤怒彻底取代。

Calamity Mary drew a gun with her left hand and volleyed shots off at her with both hands. Faced with twice the bullets, how would Ripple deflect or evade them? The bullets were powerful and fast, but Ripple could see the trajectories they travelled. At the same time, the blade she wielded was faster even than the bullets.
灾厄玛丽随即又拔出了左手的枪，利用双枪进行连射。波纹面对加倍的子弹要么弹开，要么躲避。虽然子弹又重又快，但波纹却能够读出这些子弹的轨道，同时，她所挥舞的刀刃比子弹的速度还要快。

Seeing this, Calamity Mary tossed aside her pistols and reached into the bag at her waist. Ripple immediately darted over, slashing down at her carotid vein.
灾厄玛丽见势便扔开手枪，把手伸进了挂在腰间的袋子中。波纹立刻穿了过去以敌方的颈动脉为目标挥刀斩了下去。

Sparks flew in all direction, and the sound of clashing metal came from where steel had met steel. Ripple turned and repositioned herself. Calamity Mart had a 1.5 meter-long assault rifle under her arm. The rifle was fitted with a 30 centimeter-long bayonet.
火花四溅，从刀上传出了钢铁互相碰撞所发出的噪音。波纹一个转身，摆好架势。灾厄玛丽腋下抱着的是一挺长一米左右的冲锋枪。枪口的前还安上了三十厘米左右长度的刺刀。

That bayonet had blocked Ripple’s sword.
正是这把刺刀抵挡住了波纹的刀。

“I guess I can’t finish you off with a Tokarev alone.”
“看来不是只用托卡列夫就能搞定的小姑娘啊。”

Ripple jumped and slashed across at her, but she was blocked and shoved back by the bayonet. Ripple’s sword could easily cut through road signs and concrete blocks, yet it was useless against Calamity Mary’s bayonet. Was that because Calamity Mary had used Magic to enhance her weapons?
波纹跳起来横向斩了过去，结果还是被刺刀挡住并被推了出去。波纹这把到能将路牌或是混凝土块之类物体轻易切开，然而它对灾厄玛丽的刺刀却不起作用。这也多亏灾厄玛丽用魔法对武器进行了强化吗？

--Still, so what?
——不过那又如何？

Ripple roared like a beast.
波纹像野兽一般发出了咆哮。

She accumulated power in her feet, reaching her top speed right away to cut her body in half. It was blocked. She immediately shifted her weight from one foot to another to stab at her throat. Still it was blocked. She leapt back while tossing shuriken in a three-part attack. However, they were all blocked by the bayonet. She weaved left and right in a feint to rush inside her opponent’s guard, but just as she was about to stab between the ribs, she felt a burning sensation on her face and at the same time she was sent flying. As it turned out, she had taken a butt stroke from the assault rifle to the face. Ripple paid no heed to the blood streaming from her nose, twisting aside in an instant to evade the follow-up bullets, then repositioned herself in preparation to close the gap once more.
双脚存蓄力量，以能够达到的最高速度朝她身体部分进行横斩。被挡下了。瞬间变换重心脚向喉咙刺去。还是被挡了下来。后跳的同时使用手里剑进行三段攻击。但这些攻击被那把刺刀尽数挡下。左右摆动身体以假动作冲到对方的怀中，刚要向肋骨部位刺进去的瞬间，面部却感受到一股灼热感，同时整个人被打飞了出去。原来是被冲锋枪的枪托直接打中了脸。波纹无暇顾及从鼻子里流出来的血，闪转腾挪躲避了追加的子弹攻击，开始为再一次缩短两者的距离而摆好架势。

There was roughly ten meters between herself and her opponent. She traced a wide arc as she circled around her opponent from the right. One step, two steps, three steps, but before she could take the fourth step, she heard a click. It had come from beneath her feet. Ripple froze.
与对方的距离大约有十米。用画圆弧的动作从右侧包抄过去，一步，两步，三步，没有走出第四步的时候就听到咔嚓一声，是从脚下传来的。波纹停止了动作。

She focused on it. It would seem the concrete block she had set foot on had sunk down slightly. As she realised what she had stepped on, the hateful chill of fear ran down Ripple’s back.
定睛一看，原来是自己脚踏的混凝土地面稍稍陷下去了一点，意识到自己踩到了什么之后，一股恐惧的恶寒窜上波纹后背。

“Hahaha… hahahahahaha!”
“哈哈哈……啊哈哈哈哈哈哈！”

Calamity Mary laughed loudly.
灾厄玛丽大笑了起来。

“Come then, little lady! Try and move your foot away if you can! Standing there is just going to piss me off! Show that landmine what you can do!”
“来吧小姑娘，有本事把脚挪开试试呀！如果一直站在那里的话可是会惹人厌的哟！乖乖地和地雷一起成佛吧！”

The assault rifle’s muzzle spurted a tongue of flame. Yet, Ripple could not lift her foot off the ground, because the mine would explode if she did. While normal antipersonnel mines would not be able to harm a hair on a Magical Girl’s head, this was a magical landmine laid by Calamity Mary.
冲锋枪的枪口喷出了火舌。波纹却不能把右脚抬离地面，如果离开的话地雷就会爆炸。虽然普通的对人地雷无法伤到魔法少女一丝一毫，但这可是灾厄玛丽所布下的魔法地雷。

Now that one of Ripple’s feet was locked in place and depriving her of her mobility, Calamity Mary cut loose with a fusillade of assault rifle fire.
对着单脚固定无法自由行动了的波纹，灾厄玛丽开始用冲锋枪大肆扫射。

Ripple drew a small blade from inside her sleeve. This was a ninja blade that was only about the length of a tanto. However, it ought to be easier to use for defending herself than a bigger blade. The two blades blocked all the bullets that flew over, and the assault rifle’s magazine ran dry before Ripple was fatally injured. No matter how Calamity Mary pulled the trigger, the only thing which came out of the gun was clicking, and not bullets.
波纹又拔出了塞在袖口中的小刀，这是一把只有短刀那样半身长度的忍者刀。但如果彻底用来作为防守的话，使用起来比大刀更加顺手。两把刀将飞来的子弹弹开挡下。在波纹受到致命伤之前，冲锋枪的弹夹就打空了。灾厄玛丽再怎么扣下扳机，枪也只发出咔嚓咔嚓的声音，完全没有子弹打出来。

Calamity Mary casta side her assault rifle.
灾厄玛丽扔掉了冲锋枪。

“Don’t defy Calamity Mary.”
“不要违逆灾厄玛丽。”

She reached into her bag, and pulled out eight objects from within.
她将手伸进口袋，从里面一共拿出了八件东西。

“Don’t annoy Calamity Mary.”
“不要烦扰灾厄玛丽。”

Each of the dark green objects had a safety ring on them. Calamity Mary threaded her fingers into each of the rings and threw them towards Ripple with the same motion she used to pull them off.
深绿色的球状物体一个一个都带着保险栓，灾厄·玛丽把手指伸进保险栓里，将其拔掉的同时扔向波纹。

“Don’t piss off Calamity Mary.”
“不要惹恼灾厄·玛丽。”

Calamity Mary jumped lightly towards the other side of the railing. Even jumping from the roof of a building should not pose a problem for a Magical Girl. On the other hand, Ripple’s way out had been cut off. If she moved her right leg, the landmine would explode, but if she stayed still, she would be blown to bits by the hand grenades.
灾厄玛丽轻快地跳向了围栏的另一边。如果是魔法少女的话，即便从大楼的顶上跳下来也没什么问题。而另一方面，波纹的退路已经被切断了，如果移动右脚的话，地雷就会引爆，而如果不动的话又会被手榴弹给炸飞。

There was an explosion.
爆炸发生了。

With a boom, Ripple felt herself beign carried into the air. A horizontally-expanding shockwave made her waist bend until she thought it might break. Flames licked at her hair, singing its tips The eight hand grenades and the landmine had blown Ripple high into the air.
轰的一声，波纹感到自己被带向了空中。一股横向的冲击使她的身体弯曲到腰快要折断的地步。头发被火舌舔过，发尖已经被烤焦了。八枚手榴弹和一颗地雷，波纹被这股爆炸远远的抛到了高空。

“Don’t struggle!”
“不要乱来！”

She turned around, and Ripple saw the person holding her. It was a furious Top Speed.
转过身子，波纹看到了抱住自己身体的人。正是满脸怒气的最高速。

In the moment before the grenades had gone off, Top Speed had swooped in from the side at top speed to drag Ripple away. Even though the landmine had gone off as well, Rapid Swallow’s flight speed exceeded that of the explosion’s shockwave, and in the end, Ripple’s injuries had been limited to singed hairtips.
在手榴弹爆炸的前一瞬间，以超高速飞来的最高速就从侧边把波纹拉走了，尽管与此同时地雷起爆了，但迅燕的飞行速度比爆炸的冲击波还要快，结果波纹收到的伤害也就仅限于发尖被烧焦了而已。

Ripple grabbed Top Speed’s shoulder, then spun around the broom to securely plant herself on the broom’s back seat. Just then the brilliantly shining crescent of the moon came into view. Ripple thought of Calamity Mary’s cold smile, and she could not help but grit her teeth.
波纹抓住最高速度的肩膀，在扫把上让身体转了一圈然后安坐在了扫把的后部。这时，夜空中煌煌闪耀着的下弦月映入了眼帘。波纹想起了灾厄玛丽那张牙齿闪着寒光的笑脸，不禁咬牙切齿。

“I have to finish her off here.”
“一定要在这里做了她。”

“Don’t talk like a street punk. Let’s retreat for now.”
“话说别像个小混混一样，暂时先撤退。”

“You know why she launched her terror attack here, right? It was because she wanted to make me mad, because she knew I wouldn’t just ignore this city. Either I die or someone else interferes, but apart from that, I won’t stop going after her.
“你心里也明白那家伙为什么要在这种地方进行恐怖活动吧？就是为了惹我发火，因为她知道我不会对这座城市置之不理。要么我死，要么有其他人来打扰，否则我是不会放弃在那里继续猎杀她的。”

At this point, she panted. Ripple had gone to fight because she was furious. As for why she had been so angry, that was because of Calamity Mary’s provocation.
说到这喘了一口气。波纹为什么会去战斗，那是因为她感到怒火中烧。为什么怒火中烧，那是因为灾厄玛丽在故意煽动。

The peaceful atmosphere of Nakajuku was somewhat at odds with Ripple. But now, when she thought of all the things that had taken place in Nakajuku, she could no longer control the wrath burning in her ehart.
虽说平静祥和的中宿的气氛和波纹并不太相容。但如今，一想起发生在中宿的种种事情，心中的怒火就无法控制。

“I don’t want to save the entire world. I don’t think I can save them all either. But at the very least, I have to save the people of Nakajuku… even if it’s only the people on the street. If I let them die without doing anything, then I can’t call myself a Magical Girl.”
“并不是想要拯救全世界的人，而且也不觉得能拯救得了他们。但至少要把中宿的人们……即便只是路过的人，对她见死不救的话就不能算是魔法少女了。”

Ripple tightened her hold around Top Speed’s waist. The form of the “true Magical Girl” she had admired in the past appeared in her mind.
波纹抱在最高速度腰间的手用力更紧了。过去曾经憧憬过的“真正的魔法少女”的样子在脑中浮现。

“And I am a Magical Girl.”
“我是魔法少女。”

Top Speed seemed to be at a loss for words. Soon, she exhaled. This was not a sigh or simple breathing.
最高速似乎有些语塞。很快便呼了一口气。这并不是叹气也不是单纯的呼吸。

“I see.”
“是这样啊。”

Saying so, she nodded, and she pulled her hat down on her head tighter with her right hand.
说着点了点头，右手把帽子扣得更紧了一些。

“It does sound pretty good when you put it like that.”
“说的倒是蛮好听的嘛。”

The broom’s forward speed slowly decreased, and in the end it came to a halt.
扫帚的推进速度慢慢降低，最终停了下来。

“That’s the first time I’ve heard you say that, Ripple.”
“头一次听到波纹说出这种话呢。”

She seemed to be smiling bitterly as she said that.
其中好像还混着一丝苦笑。

“But you left something out.”
“但是这话中还有一点不足。”

The broom did a 180 degree about turn in the air. In order not to fall, Ripple grabbed Top Speed’s waist even more tightly. Top Speed was entirely unmoved by that.
扫帚的飞行方向在空中来了个180度大转弯。波纹为了不掉落下去，把最高速的腰抱得更紧了。最高速度没有因此产生丝毫动摇。

“I’m a Magical Girl too.”
“我也是魔法少女啊。”

The thrusters on both sides of the broom spewed fire, and it lurched forward at high speeds. The fluttering of Top Speed’s jacket in the wind and the roar of the wind as it swept past was deafening. The sound of the windshield slicing through the air was far behind them. Both the riders on the broom were hunkered down to hide behind the windshield.
扫帚两侧伸出的推进装置吐出火舌，急速前进了起来。最高速身上的外套随风飘扬的声音、再加上高速行进劈开风的声音快要把耳朵给震聋了。流线型防风罩切开风的声音已经被抛在身后。乘在扫帚上的两人为了躲在防风罩后面，都低俯着身子。

They sighted the roof of the Hotel Priestess with their Magical Girl’s exceptional vision. The roof was in ruins, and the topmost rooms were exposed to the outside. They were burning fiercely and discharging clouds of billowing smoke. The steel rebar was exposed and stuck out, while the floor was covered in debris and wreckage. Ripple prayed that there had been no guests on the top floor.
通过魔法少女优秀的视力捕捉到了女祭司酒店。房顶被破坏殆尽，最上层的房间凄惨地暴露在外。那里正燃着熊熊火焰，冒着滚滚浓烟。钢筋翘起，地板已经被瓦砾和残骸所埋没。波纹内心祈祷着最顶层没有入住的客人。

But that praiseworthy prayer vanished in the moment she spotted the enemy, replaced by anger. Someone was standing in the ruins of the VIP suite and looking at them; it was Calamity Mary. She had an assault rifle in each hand, and she opened fire at them.
但这一值得钦佩的祈祷在见到敌人的瞬间就消散了，立刻被愤怒的情绪所取代。有人正站在宾馆的残垣断壁之间，朝着这边看过来，正是灾厄玛丽。两手各拿着一把冲锋枪，朝着这边开始了射击。

A Magical Girl’s excellent dynamic motion vision could see the path of every single bullet. They bounced off the windshield and the rest had not even touched them, vanishing behind them. One could praise Rapid Swallow’s windshield for the fact that it could endure the stresses of supersonic flight alone. Calamity Mary seemed to be shouting something, but the wind was too loud, and so Ripple did not hear it.
魔法少女优秀的动态视力能将所有子弹的弹道一个不漏地看清楚，那些子弹基本都被防风罩给弹开了，剩下的子弹都是完全没有擦到，径直消失在了身后。光从能耐受住超音速飞行这一点来看，迅燕所具备的防风罩的强度就已经值得自傲了。灾厄玛丽好像在下面喊了些什么，但由于风的声音太大，波纹完全没有听到。

Rapid Swallow charged straight at Calamity Mary.
迅燕朝着灾厄玛丽直线冲了过去。

It pierced through the wall and crashed through the floor, and because of the shockwave, the flames, the smoke, the carpets, the beds, all the heavy-seeming debris was sucked into the air and through the building, spewing out its side in a ten meter long plume. The sound followed in its wake. The mountain of debris churned up by the shockwave rained down, burying the I of the hotel’s sign.
穿透墙壁、撞通地板，由于冲击波的作用，火焰、烟雾、地毯、床、看似沉重的瓦砾全都被卷上空中横贯了楼层，飞出了宾馆十米之外的距离。声音随后才传来。被冲击波卷起的瓦砾大山悉数落下，将宾馆顶楼的I字形伤痕掩埋。

Ripple had clearly seen how Calamity Mary had avoided the straight-line charge. Just as it was about to make contact, Calamity Mary--who had probably discovered that she could not hit her target or pierce Rapid Swallow’s armor no matter how she pulled the trigger--had dived into the pile of debris.
波纹看得很清楚，灾厄玛丽躲过了直线冲击。快要接触时，可能她发现无论怎么扣动扳机命中目标都无法削减迅燕的装甲，便一个翻身潜入了瓦砾形成的山中。

She could sense a thick, dense murderous intent from the shadowed depths of the hotel, so much so that she imagined she could see its color with the naked eye. The debris pile collapsed with a rustle, and a person’s shape emerged from within.
从宾馆四角的阴暗处都能感觉到密度很高，浓浓的杀气，仿佛能直接通过肉眼看到它浓浓的颜色。哗啦一声，瓦砾形成的山倒了下来，从里面出现了一个人影。

“Still alive.”
“还活着。”

“Looks like it…”
“看起来是呢……”

“Awright! One more time! Buckle up, buckaroo!”
“好嘞！再来一次吧！好好抓紧我！”

The thrusters lit up again, and the armored broom charged full-tilt at Calamity Mary, who stood on the roof of the VIP suites. Calamity Mary took a gun out of her bag. It was not a pistol or an assault rifle, so it ought to be a sniper rifle. The weapon was very long; its body alone was one meter long… so its full length ought to be 1.5 meters? More?
推进装置再次点火，装甲扫帚对准宾馆顶上的灾厄玛丽全速冲了过去。灾厄玛丽从口袋里拿出枪，不是手枪也不是冲锋枪，应该是一把狙击枪。枪身很长，仅枪身就有一米长……全场的话有一米五左右？还是更长？

Calamity Mary curled her lips as she pointed the gun at them. She was smiling. Ripple suddenly felt her hairs stand on end, just like she had when she stepped on the landmine.
灾厄玛丽将枪口对准了这边撇了撇嘴。她在笑。波纹顿时觉得汗毛一竖，和踩到地雷时是一样的感觉。

“Duck!”
“快躲开！”

As Ripple shouted, she leaned forward, and at the same time she grabbed Top Speed’s pointy hat and pushed down on it with all her might. This forced Rapid Swallow’s course into a turn, and it passed below and to the right of its target. Even if she immediately reversed the thrusters, it was too late. They slammed into the wall of the VIP suites and pierced through the floorboards, and the price of the emergency turn was meandering left and right like a tormented snake, and in the end they landed on the roof of a building several kilometers away.
大喊的同时波纹将身体向前倾，同时抓住最高速的尖帽用全身重量压了上去。迅燕的轨道立即打了个弯，从目标的右下方擦了过去。即使立刻反转推进器朝反方向推进也来不及了。就这样直接撞上了宾馆的墙壁，接着便贯穿地板，急转方向的代价就是像一条痛苦翻滚的蛇一样，一会左一会右，最终在距离数公里远的大楼顶上着陆了。

While it was called a building, it was still nowhere near as tall as the Hotel Priestess, and their landing was more of plunging into the roof of the building. Shattered concrete lay everywhere and fien dust particles rose like smoke.
虽说是大楼，但和女祭司酒店的楼高还是有很大差距的，与其说是着陆，到不如说是直接插进这幢大楼的房顶更加确切。被击碎的混凝土四处散落，细小的尘埃像烟一样飘荡。

“What the fuck were you doing?!”
“你干什么啊！”

In the face of Top Speed’s entirely warranted rage, Ripple pointed to the top of the windshield.
面对最高速度理所当然的怒斥，波纹用手指了指防风罩的上部。

“Look, this…”
“看，这个……”

“Ah?”
“啊？”

The top of the windshield was a twisted mess. The windshield that could take countless bullets and withstand supersonic impacts with reinforced concrete unscathed had been thoroughly wrecked.
防风罩的上部已经被扭曲击飞了，能够抵挡无数子弹，能够以突破音障的速度撞击混凝土而毫发无损的防风罩被破坏得不成样子了。

“What the hell did this?!”
“这是什么情况？”

“It was clipped by the bullet from just now…”
“被刚才的子弹擦到了……”

Top Speed had probably not seen it because Ripple had pushed her head down. Calamity Mary’s bullet should have hit the windshield straight on, but due to the change in flight path, it ended up merely scraping the top of the windshield. Even so, just clipping the top of the windshield had been enough to wreck it. If it had been a direct hit, it would probably have gone through the two of them as well.
由于头被波纹按了下去，最高速度应该没有看见。灾厄玛丽的狙击枪所打出的子弹应该是直冲着防风罩来的，但由于飞行轨迹突然变化，最终只擦到了防风罩的上部，然而仅仅是被擦到的防风罩，还是被击飞了。如果是直接命中的话，恐怕两人就会被贯穿了吧。

“What the hell! Her peashooters shouldn’t have been anle to do anything!”
“为什么啊！那家伙的大豆子弹不是应该完全没有作用的吗！”

“She used a different gun…”
“枪的种类不同了……”

The speed of the bullet was in a completely different league from the ones before, if she had not changed their course before she had fully depressed the trigger, they would not have been able to avoid the attack. If they had actually taken a direct hit, they would have been blown to smithereens/
子弹的速度与之前的那些完全不可同日而语。如果没有在她扣动扳机之前改变轨道的话，首先肯定躲不过这一击。如果被直接命中的话，自己应该已经变成尘埃了吧。

Top Speed picked Rapid Swallow up with her hands, dusted herself off, readjusted her pointy hat, and looked angrily at the Hotel Priestess.
最高速用手把迅燕撑了起来，掸了掸身上的灰尘，重新戴正她的尖帽，一脸厌恶地盯着女祭司酒店看去。

“That bitch! One more time!”
“该死的家伙！再来一次！”

“If we do the same thing… we’ll just end up getting shot…”
“用同样招数的话……只有被射杀的份……”

Calamity Mary’s Magic was to “imbue weapons with magic”, so she could not create a weapon out of nothing; she needed weapons to prepare beforehand.
灾厄玛丽的魔法是“将魔法之力寄于武器之中”，所以从零开始创造出武器是不可能的，因此必须一开始准备好武器才行。

Her Dragunov, Tokarevs, AKs and this KSVK anti-tank rifle were all Soviet-made firearms, which raised questions about how compatible they were with Calamity Mary’s theme as a Wild West gunman.
德拉古诺夫、托卡列夫、AK、还有这把对战车步枪KSVK，全是俄制或是苏制枪械，与灾厄玛丽这个以西部开拓时代的枪手为主题的魔法少女到底是不是相符还真是个疑问。

If possible, she would have liked them all to be American-made weapons; however, due to problems with obtaining weapons smuggled out from the Central American drug cartels, they were few and far between.
如果可能的话，当然希望能够全是美制武器，不过能利用中美秘密毒品组织弄到手的武器都因为非法流出的问题而十分单一。

It was not that she had not protested these when she had first obtained them, but now, they were her favorites. Calamity Mary licked the muzzle brake of her weapon. It tasted of steel.
入手的当初也不能说没有一点抵抗感，不过事到如今这些东西已经变成爱用物了。灾厄玛丽舔了舔炮口制退器，有一股铁的味道。

The KSVK had only clipped the enemy, which was a shame, but even a scratch ought to have done some damage. Their overheated brains probably understood its power now.
KSVK的一击仅仅擦到了敌机，虽然有些可惜，但仅仅擦到的这一下就应该确实造成了伤害。她们发热的脑袋应该已经充分领教到它的威力了吧。

Ripple and Top Speed should have learned that charging in without a strategy would only lead to them being filled full of holes, so what would they do next? If they could not win one on one, they would have to rely on the advantage of numbers.
波纹和最高速已经了解到毫无策略地正面突击只会惨遭射杀，那她们接下来会如何选择呢？一对一无法胜利的话就会依靠人数的优势。

She predicted that Top Speed would come from head on, but after feeling the power of the KSVK, her charge would probably be much slower and weaker. Still, that was not important. Would she come from the left, the right or the back? Ripple would surely attack from a different direction than Top Speed, and that would be the main attack. If she could predict that, she coudl deal with it appropriately.
估计最高速度会从正面过来，但充分意识到KSVK威力之后的突击，速度和威力一定会大幅降低吧，但那边肯定不是主要的，是左边还是右边或是背后呢？波纹肯定会从最高速不同的方向袭击过来，那才是主要攻击。能够预测到这一点的话就可以适当处理了。

Unlike the roof, which used to be an open area, this place was covered in debris, which made it easy to set traps. There had been more than enough time to lay traps before Top Speed returned after rescuing Ripple.
与原本空旷的屋顶不同，现在这里被瓦砾所掩埋，很容易设下陷阱，在最高速把波纹救走并返回之前设下圈套可以说绰绰有余。

Whether from the left, right or the back,  Ripple would not be able to approach her, because those directions were laced with piano wire. She had also emplaced a web of wires connected to grenades below her; if Ripple tried to come from below, it would not be a problem.
不管是从左边还是右边或是后面攻过来，波纹都无法近身，因为那些地方都已经设置了钢琴线，下方也已经设置了钢琴线以及手榴弹的陷阱网，万一波纹从下面过来的话也不成问题。

The only opening to speak of was above. However, Ripple could not fly, and without Top Speed’s aid, she could not attack from above. If Top Speed did help her, they could not launch a pincer attack and she would blow them away with the KSVK.
唯一能说得上空隙的地方就是上方。但是波纹没有飞行能力，没有最高速度的协助是不可能从上面攻过来的，如果最高速度协助她的话，就无法形成夹击之势，毫无疑问用KSVK就能把她们打成灰。

The window of a five storey building about 70 degrees to her right--a department store, if she recalled correctly--splintered open, and something big slowly emerged. Calamity Mary’s nerves were on edge as she surveyed her surroundings, and naturally she noticed it, but at the same time, doubts developed in her mind. What had come out could only be described as “something big”, because she could not divine its true identity at a glance.
位于右前方70度的五层大楼——印象中应该是个百货商店——窗户的玻璃碎裂，从里面缓缓地出来了一个大家伙。绷紧神经盯紧四周的灾厄玛丽自然注意到了，但同时也产生了疑问。出来的那个东西只能用“大家伙”来称呼，因为一眼无法看穿其真身。

When she realized that the five square meter section of wall was a fire door, Calamity Mary immediately pulled the trigger. The fire door was sent flying, and the broom hiding behind the door fled into the shadows of the building.
看穿那面五米见方左右的墙壁应该是一扇防火门的时候，灾厄玛丽立刻扣动了扳机。防火门被打飞，藏身于墙壁后面的飞空扫帚逃向了大楼的阴暗处。

--What the hell was that?
——那是个啥？

It should have come from the department store. Flying with the fire door in front of them meant that they planned to use it as a shield or as cover. Did they really think something like that would be of use?
是百货商店里的设备吧，把防火门挡在前面然后飞走，也就是打算将其当做盾牌或是遮蔽物吧，她们真的以为这种东西能起作用吗？

This time it was another window, and the same kind of fire door flew at Calamity Mary.
这次是从别的窗口，出现了同样的防火门朝灾厄玛丽飞了过来。

Calamity Mary licked her lips. Her lips were not dry in the least, but moist with lewd desire. Her tongue peeked out as the drool leaked from the corner of her mouth.
灾厄玛丽舔了舔嘴唇，嘴唇一点都没有干，而是娇艳欲滴地湿润着。她伸着舌头，嘴角的口水都已经流了出来。

The fire door was approaching her. While she had opened fire in a panic just now, this time was different; she would draw it in closer and then shoot it down.

She pulled the trigger, and in the next moment, the bullet struck its target. The bullet’s speed was faster than a Magical Girl’s reflexes, and it was unavoidable.
扣下扳机的一瞬间子弹就击中了目标，子弹速度凌驾于魔法少女的反射神经之上，躲不开的。

The fire door exploded, scattering into fragments that fell everywhere. A look of glee appeared on Calamity Mary’s face, and then her expression twisted. It had not twisted from delight, but because she could not comprehend what was going on. The fire door had been blown away, but there were no corpses or even the remains of a broom. There had been nothing there wxcept the fire door.
防火门爆炸了，成为了碎片四散而落。灾厄玛丽脸上露出了喜悦的表情，接着表情扭曲了。并不是由于喜悦而扭曲了表情，而是因为无法理解发生的状况。防火门明明都已经爆炸了却不见尸体，连扫帚的残骸都没有。除了防火门以外，什么都没有。

Her hairs stood on end, and she could feel killing intent prickling her skin. She put down the KSVK and at the same time, she drew her Tokarev from her holster.
一瞬间汗毛倒竖，感觉到了刺进皮肤的杀气。放下KSVK，同时从枪套中拔出了托卡列夫。

She had already accounted for feints from any direction; left, right, up and down. Even if they had slipped in through a hole in her defenses, Calamity Mary’s quickdraw ought to be able to deal with them.
可能会佯攻过来的地方事先都已经计算好了，左、右、后、下。即便被她们乘虚而入，只要有灾厄玛丽的快枪也没问题。

The moment she sensed that killing intent, Calamity Mary raised her Tokarev above her. And above her, the only thing she saw was the crescent moon and a sky full of stars. However, while there were many stars, they ought not to be so many visible within the city, right? These were not stars, but countless objects flying at her… shuriken? No, that was not right either. There were too many of them. What the moon illuminated was not shuriken, but glass fragments. There was an amply supply of glass fragments around these buildings.
一感受到杀气，灾厄玛丽就把托卡列夫举向正上方。而上方有的，只有一轮下弦月和漫天的星斗。不对，虽然星星有很多，但城市中应该看不到这么多才对，这不是星星，而是无数向自己飞来的……手里剑？也不对，数量太多了，被月光照得熠熠生辉的并不是手里剑，而是玻璃的碎片。玻璃碎片的话，在这个大楼群中要多少有多少。

--That bitch…!
——该死的家伙……！

She fired once, twice, three times, then she had no time to fire a fourth time; all she could do was swing her pistol to try and block them, but that was the end for her. The glass fragments pierced her shoulder and collarbone, the spinning shuriken dug into her flesh, and a kunai stabbed deep between her brows. Her back and waist arched back, like a reversed prawn.
射出一发、射出两发、射出三发，没有第四发的空闲了，只有挥舞手枪加以抵挡，但也到此为止了。玻璃的碎片刺进了肩膀、锁骨，旋转的手里剑将肉剜去，苦无深深地刺入眉间，头到腰部都向后仰去，就像反过来的虾子一样。

The last thing that Calamity Mary thought before she died was Don’t look down on me.
灾厄玛丽临死前都在想的事情就是“不要小看我”。

Riddled with shuriken, kunai and glass fragments, Calamity Mary’s body collapsed backwards. Her cowboy hat floated lightly down through the air, landing on its owner’s chest.
全身插满了手里剑、苦无和玻璃碎片的灾厄玛丽就这样后仰着倒下了。牛仔帽轻飘飘地从空中飘落，落到了主人的胸口上。

Ripple exhaled the breath she had been holding for a long time, and pain filled her body from head to toe. Earlier, she had not even had the time to feel pain, but now a wave of sensation washed over her, and it almost made her pass out.
波纹终于松出一口憋了很久的气，身体从头到尾都浸彻在疼痛之中，之前连感觉疼痛的时间都没有，但现在这感觉却一起袭来，害自己快要失去意识了。

Ripple had thrown the fire door at Calamity Mary, and thanks to Ripple’s Magic, even the massive fire door flew towards her in a straight line.
波纹把防火门扔向了灾厄玛丽，由于波纹的魔法，即使是巨大的防火门也能按着直线路程飞过去。

From the front, it had looked just like the first fire door, and it had made her think someone was hiding behind the fire door. While Calamity Mary intercepted it, Ripple and Top Speed took advantage of the opening and launched an attack from Rapid Swallow in mid-air.
从正面看起来和第一次的防火门一样，并且让她认为有人躲在防火门后面就行了，趁着灾厄玛丽迎击的空隙，波纹就和最高速度乘着迅燕从空中发动袭击。

As she confirmed Calamity Mary’s body collapse and detransform from the corner of her eye, Ripple collapsed too, as though her breathing was about to stop as well.
眼角的余光见证了灾厄玛丽倒下并解除变身的同时，波纹也倒下了，呼吸仿佛要停止了一般。

“Good job, partner.”
“干得好，搭档。”

Raising her head, Ripple saw Top Speed extending her right hand to her as she panted heavily, and she grabbed the offered hand.
抬头看去，最高速向倒在地上上气不接下气的波纹伸出右手，波纹抓住了伸过来的手。

“You look like you were hit pretty hard, are you alright?”
“看上去好像结结实实地被打中了嘛，没事吧？”

“I’ll make it…”
“还过得去……”

She grabbed the hand extended to her and pulled, but for some reason, Top Speed fell on top of Ripple, still in the posture of pulling Ripple up. Thus, Ripple--who had ended up having to support Top Speed instead--was about to scold her for playing a bad joke when she realised that there was someone else behind Top Speed.
握住伸向自己的手，用力一拉，不知为何，最高速就保持拉着波纹的动作朝自己倒了下来。于是就变成了波纹反过来支撑住了最高速，刚想斥责她这是什么恶劣玩笑的时候才察觉到，最高速的身后出现了一个人影。

It was a girl who looked like a high schooler in a pure white school swimsuit, who wielded a massive weapon that looked like a cross between a razor and a logging cleaver. Given her ridiculous getup and her immediately obvious posture, she could surmise her intent. Still holding Top Speed, Ripple rolled along the ground. The massive weapon easily cleaved through the floor of the VIP suite as it pursued Ripple, but Ripple had already gotten up by then and drawn her sword to negate the attack and at the same time, she jumped into her opponent’s reach. Right after that, she hacked at her opponent’s left mid-thigh and slashed at her right arm with the return stroke.
穿着白色学校泳装的高中生模样的少女，正挥动着将剃刀和柴刀合二为一的巨大武器。从那夸张的打扮和一目了然的姿势就能察觉她的意图。波纹就这样抱着最高速在地上打了一个滚。宾馆的地板被巨大的武器轻易切开而且卷起并追上了波纹，只不过已经支起身来的波纹拔刀化解了攻击，同时一跃窜入了对方的怀中。紧接着一刀横斩砍中左大腿，又回手撕裂了对方的右手腕。

Those attacks should have been enough to deal a fatal injury to her opponent, but the sensation she had expected did not travel up her arm, and her opponent continued swinging her weapon as though she did not mind it at all. Ripple backed up a step, and found that the places she had clearly cute were not bleeding at all.
应该已经给对方的致命处施加足够的攻击了，但没有传来应有的手感，眼前的敌人仍然毫不介意似的挥动着武器。波纹向后退了一步，发现明明应该已经被砍中的地方竟没有一滴血流出来。

--Is it Magic…?
——魔法……？

As Ripple evaded the attack skimming along the ground at her leg, she drew her kodachi and threw it. The kodachi nailed her opponent’s foot to the floor of the VIP suite, but her opponent lifted her foot and easily pulled the kodachi out of the ground. As expected, there was no blood, and in addition, there was no sign she had even been stabbed.
波纹一边避开紧贴地面向脚袭来的一击，一边拔出小太刀投了出去。小太刀将敌人的脚钉在了宾
馆的地面上，但敌人一抬脚，就将小太刀轻易拔了出来，果然还是没有血，不仅如此，甚至都没有留下连被刺到的痕迹。

The two of them had clashed, and Ripple’s attacks had clearly struck her opponent’s vitals. However, her opponent showed no intention of evading, and even when she had struck home, there had been no response at all, as though she had been cutting through the air. Her opponent’s attacks were very simple, and she could easily avoid them, but if she did that, her own attacks would not be able to connect.
两人交锋，波纹的攻击切实命中了敌人的致命要害，不如说说敌人完全没有想要躲避的意思，即使攻击命中了也完全没有反应，仿佛只是在切空气一样。敌人的攻击却非常单调，只是闪躲的话应该能做到，但这样一来自己的攻击就打不中了。

The swimsuited Magical Girl seemed to have sensed that neither side would be able to hit the other, and so she stepped back. At the same time, the massive weapon vanished. Her ankles, her calves, her thighs and waist sank into the floor of the VIP suite, and in the end the floor even swallowed her head up.
穿着泳装的魔法少女似乎察觉了双方的攻击都绝对无法打中这一点，便向后退去，与此同时，巨大的武器消失了。脚踝、小腿、大腿、腰部依次沉入了宾馆的地板之下，最终连头也一起被地板吞没。

Ripple clocked her tongue. It was not that her attacks had missed, but they had gone through. There was no doubt that it was her opponent’s Magic, and if she did not think of a way to solve this problem, Ripple’s attacks would not be effective.
波纹砸了一下舌。并不是攻击没有打中，而是穿了过去。毫无疑问这就是对方的魔法吧，只要不想办法解决这个问题，波纹的攻击就不可能奏效。

After learning that everything she had just done was useless, her shoulders rounded with fatigue. Continuing the fight would not do any good, just lead to further loss. It would be all well and good if her opponent had run away, but that was probably just wishful thinking. She had to assume that her opponent was simply hiding to launch the next attack, and in that case, she would have to take the appropriate action too.
得知自己刚才所做的都是无用功，疲劳就让双肩变得沉重起来，继续作战下去也不会有任何好处，只能一味失去。如果对手就这样逃走就好了，但这未必也想得太美了。应该认为对方只是为下一次攻击潜伏起来而已，这样一来，自己这边也不得不采取相应的行动。

Ripple turned, and just as she was about to pick up Top Speed--who had collapsed to the ground--and retreat with her, she froze in her tracks.
波纹转过身，正打算跑过去搀起倒在地上的最高速之后一起撤退的时候，自己却停下了动作。

Top Speed should have been lying there, on the jacket with “Who Cares What You Think” written on it. She should have been lying on top of it, like it was a layer of bedding. That said, Top Speed was not there. The jacket was there, but the black pointy hat and her witch’s garb were gone without a trace.
最高速应该就躺在那里才对，把写有不容分说这几个字的外套当作被褥铺在地上，她就躺在上面才对。明明如此，最高速最不在那里。虽然写有不容分说的外套就在那，但无论是黑色的尖顶帽还是魔女服都不见了踪影。

Ripple stumbled over and knelt beside the person who was lying there. She was a woman, not even 20 yet, with brown hair plaited into a three-stranded braid, and she had taken a deep slash from her shoulder to her chest. The bleeding had stopped, and she looked like she was asleep, her eyes closed with a serene expression on her face.
波纹踉踉跄跄地走过去，跪在了横躺在那里的“人”身边，年龄大约20岁不到，女性，栗色的头发编成三股辫，肩膀直到胸口处遭到深深地斩击，出血已经停止了，好像真的睡着了一样，一副安稳的表情闭上了双眼。

Ripple hand trembled as she squeezed the woman’s hand, which was cold.
波纹用颤抖的手握住了那名女性的手，已经冷掉了。

The woman was in a maternity dress, and given her belly, she was clearly pregnant.
女性身穿一件孕妇装，从肚子可以明显看出怀有身孕。

Top Speed had always said, “I need to survive another half a year.” Ripple bit her lip, then bit it harder and harder. Her mouth filled with the taste of fresh blood, but even when it spilled out the side of her mouth, she continued biting.
最高速一直把这句话挂在嘴边：“自己至少要再活半年才行”。波纹咬着嘴唇，用力再用力地咬着嘴唇。口中充满了鲜血的味道，即便鲜血已经从嘴边一滴滴地流了出来，她仍在继续咬着嘴唇。

The words Top Speed said reverberated through her mind, and the echoes would not fade.

Ripple had lost her only friend.

As she saw the angel descend. Snow White felt relieved. Even when everyone was killing each other, as long as something big happened, Magical Girls would rush to the scene to help people regardless of the presence of the enemy. Magical Girls should have been like that. That was what Magical Girls were.
看到天使降临的时候，白雪感觉到一阵安心。即使是在双方互相追杀的特别情况下，只要有重大事件发生，魔法少女就会为救助他人而不分敌我地赶去现场。魔法少女就是那样的，那才是魔法少女。

The Peaky Angels had been among the Magical Girls who had attacked Snow White and La Pucelle by the beach, and that fear-filled memory still lingered within her mind. Even so, as long as people needed help, they had to forget the past and work together. In order to get the other side to relax, she had to show them a non-stiff smile.
在俱边海滩的铁塔上袭击白雪和圣少女的一群中就有Peaky·Angels的身影，这份记忆至今依然伴随着恐惧感留存在自己记忆中。但即便如此，只要有人需要救助，就必须忘记过去并提供协力。为了让对方没有警戒之心，还必须要注意不能用僵硬的笑容来面对。

Just as Snow White was preparing to meet them with a perfect smile, Hardgore Alice knocked her aside. She was surprised, she was confused, she got up, she was baffled, and while she was still unable to understand what had just happened, hardgore Alice was already fightign the angel.
想要以完美的笑脸迎接对方的白雪被哈德格尔·爱丽丝一把撞倒在路上。惊异、迷惑、起身、无法理解、在还没搞清楚她是什么意思的情况下，哈德格尔·爱丽丝已经和天使处于交战状态了。

The Angel’s expression was not normal. Her lips were drawn into a thin line, her face was pale, her brows were knitted, and a moan escaped her mouth. Hardgore Alice threw her doll aside, then easily wrenched a road sign out of the grown and swung it over her head, preventing the angel from approaching.
天使的表情并不寻常，嘴唇抿成一字，脸色苍白，眉头紧皱，口中发出呻吟的声音。哈德格尔·爱丽丝把布偶扔到路上，然后轻而易举地拔出道路标示在头上呼呼地甩着，让天使无法靠近。

Snow White was still wondering, what on earth are they doing? There had been a massive traffic accident on the National Highway, and there would surely be many dead or wounded, so there would be a lot of work for Magical Girls to do. Even so, the angel had still attacked them. She paid no attention to the burning sedans, overturned trucks and the countless casualties.
白雪还在想“她们这到底是在干什么”。国道上发生了大规模的机动车事故，死伤者肯定不会是少数，有很多魔法少女能做的事。但即便如此，天使还是攻了过来。对于那些着火的客车、翻倒的卡车和无数的伤者全都置之不理。

Snow White trembled, more from anger than fear. Her rage rose unbidden at this flagrant disregard for the lives of others. Snow White possessed a Magic that allowed her to “find people in difficulty, and sense what kind of trouble they were in”. Right now, she could hear many such voices, and she knew where these voices came from. She could not believe any Magical Girl could ignore all these voices and start a fight. While only Snow White could hear the voices of the heart, it was plain to see that many people needed help. Had they not seen them? Or did they just not care?
比起恐惧，白雪因为更感到了愤怒而颤抖着身体。不由自主地对于这种不顾别人生命的行为感到愤慨。白雪拥有“能够找出有困难的人，并且能够读出对方正在遭受什么困难”这样的魔法。她现在能够听到很多这样的声音，并且知道这些心声来自何处。能够无视这一切展开战斗的魔法少女实在令自己无法相信。虽然能够听到心声的只有白雪，但有很多人等待帮助是显而易见的，她们到底是没在看呢？还是不屑一顾呢？

The voices increased, and they grew louder. Suddenly, Snow White sensed a strange voice among the ones crying out for help.
声音越来越多，并且越来越大。忽然，白雪觉察到了，在求救的声音之外，还有其他奇怪的声音混杂其中。

“I’m in trouble… what should I do…”
“真是困扰啊……怎么办？”

The voice came from about ten meters behind Snow White. She looked back; there was nobody there, but she still heard the voice.
声音来自白雪后方十米左右的位置。回头一看，那里却空无一人，但仍然传来声音。

“Swim-chan told me to attack Magical Girls, but…”
“虽然小泳说要我袭击魔法少女。”

“Is it really okay to ignore the accident...”
“不去管事故的事情可以吗……”

“But Swim-chan said so.”

“It should be okay to help them after we finish off that girl, right…”

The mental voice stopped.

A Magical Girl with dog-ears on her head suddenly appeared.
一个头上有狗耳朵的魔法少女突然出现了。

“What do you mean she found you? Wasn’t the plan for me to fake them out while you circled around behind them? How could you be spotted? Incompetent! Stupid mutt! Useless!”
“什么被发现了！不是说好我来进行佯攻，你趁机绕到身后的嘛！你怎么能被发现呢！无能！笨狗！没用的家伙！”

The angel barked abuse at her while at the same time frantically dodging the road sign that was still being swung at her.
天使对她一阵数落，同时还慌慌张张地躲避着依然朝自己挥舞过来的标示。

“If you can’t use it, then give it to me!”
“你不会用的话就给我！”

After saying so, the angel flew like she was tracing a spiral and snatched away the translucent coat on the dog-eared girl’s body, put it on herself, then vanished. The dog-eared girl that had been left behind looked tearfully as Snow White and even the sign-wielding Hardgore Alice turned to approach her. With a tear-filled noise that was either a howl or a wail, she scratched the concrete by her feet. A one-meter hole suddenly opened up at the scratched area, and then the dog-eared girl promptly dove into it.
数落完之后，天使就像在画螺旋一样飞舞着，夺走了狗耳朵少女身上的半透明外套并披到自己身上，之后便消失了。还留在身后的狗耳朵魔法少女眼泪汪汪地看到不止白雪，就连抱着道路标示的哈德格尔·爱丽丝也回过头来，于是带着哭腔地发出了说不出是吼叫还是悲鸣的声音，同时刨起脚边的水泥地面。被刨起的位置突然出现一道直径一米左右的洞穴，然后狗耳朵的魔法少女一下子钻了进去。

Not only had Hardgore Alice stepped forward to fight when she had been drawn into a battle, but she had even defended Snow White when she had been ambushed. The angel was gone and dog-ears had run. Snow White’s raised fists drooped powerlessly.
哈德格尔·爱丽丝不仅在被卷入战斗的时候果敢迎战，同时也是在袭击中保护了白雪的恩人。天使消失了，狗耳朵也逃走了。白雪那举起的拳头无力地垂了下来，

Hardgore Alice looked around for her bunny doll, and eventually she found the rabbit buried in beneath some debris and dug it out. With the doll in her right hand and the street sign on her shoulder, she followed behind Snow White.
哈德格尔·爱丽丝开始找起兔子的布偶，最终找到了藏在瓦砾夹缝中的兔子并把它挖了出来。右手拿着兔子，肩上扛着路牌标示，就这样跟在白雪的身后追去。

Nana turned her face over, still lying on the bed. Beside and above her was a corkboard, decorted with several pictures of Sister Nana and Vess Winterprison, Habutae Nana and Asyuu Shizuku as they smiled. Shizuku had always been very gentle; she would pick up Nana when she was about to collapse, clean up, do the laundry, do anything for her. She had even helped her during her university entrance exams, and she had always praised Nana on how cute she was.
奈奈保持着仰卧把脸侧了过来，边上的软木板上，装饰着几张修女娜娜和维斯·寒冬牢狱，羽二重奈奈和亚柊雫充满笑容的照片。雫每时每刻都很温柔，会在奈奈快要倒下的时候将她扶起，打扫、洗衣服，什么事情都会为她做，大学的报告也会给予她帮助，一直夸奖奈奈有多么的可爱。

She knew very well that her looks were very plain, and while someone would occasionally say, “you’re cute” in a teasing or superior way, none of them had meant it. However, when Winterprison said “you’re cute”, she had not done so in a teasing way or with any sense of superiority. While she was not sure what she liked about her, when she said she liked her, it was most likely not false, and she did not know why she had such an interest in her.
本人是最了解的，自己的外表其实很一般，虽然也会有人出于捉弄或是以一副优越感的姿态说她“好可爱”，但这些都不是发自内心的。但寒冬牢狱的那句“好可爱”应该没有丝毫捉弄或是优越感。虽然不太清楚她到底喜欢自己的哪里，但她本人所说的喜欢应该不含任何虚伪吧，不觉得她会有这么好的兴致。

The scarf hanging on the chair was probably Shizuku’s personal property, and not part of Winterprison’s outfit proper. Nana took the scarf and the chair in hand.
