- BACKSTORY:
- Mayumi is a prodigy of the Hida Bushi school and stalwart defender of Rokugan. After finishing her Gempukku in the Shadowlands (where she killed a small Oni) she spent the next few years on the Kaiu Wall, slaying Oni and Bakemono that attempted to scale its walls. Seeing promise for her to grow to new levels, however, her sensei Hida Issei arranged for her to travel near Lion lands and experience more of Rokugan, in hopes it will help unlock her true potential. However, she struggles with the idea of hurting and killing other human beings, especially after years and years learning and living the very real threat that the Shadowlands pose, and the way bandits, ronin, and criminals have found new purpose on the Twenty Goblin Winter tradition. Who knows what she may learn in this new (to her) land?
