Tisuna agrees that strength isn't everything but speed

"Yokai are imperfect and spread a darkness over this land, From Yokai, humans came to know dark magic, and in turn, it twisted them, and it is the reason the land the way it is now, and full of depravity." A voice says as Tisuna walks out from the brush, a sword in hand as she looks between the three Yokai confidently.

"Nothing good from from your ilk, even from the example that you must kill each other to grow stronger - yet, you blame others on your kind going near extinct.

She remains there, ready to strike if any of the Yokai approach her even show any signs of aggression, then looks over to Nerian "Child, are you a refugee?"

The young woman stands poised, unslouching - clearly fammilar with the blade in her hand.

Jin would open his eyes, awakening under a tree he'd slept under.

He'd stretch his arms out in front of him, looking to the side and seeing his bag. He'd pick himself up off of the ground, grabbing his bag in the process. He figured that he should make his way into the northern parts of the Wychwoods forests, as he really didn't have anything to do, and that's usually where the most action was happening.

As he'd come into a clearing, he'd see a whole group!

A young ookami boy, a young blonde girl that he had met not too long ago.. Her name was Tisuna or whatever. And then there were those Yokai. Interesting. He wondered what those two were doing surrounded by those Yokai's. As he came into a closer distance, he noticed that she was sort of aggressive towards them.

"Hey now, that's no way to treat a Yokai, now is it."

He'd creep up behind Tisuna.

"I doubt that you could take on all of them, so I suggest that you don't talk ill of them. They are vicious creatures, indeed, but not all of them are bloodthirsty monsters. Some of them actually have a hint of.. common sense."

after he finished feasting on the giga yokai's corpse he would see as the Ginat Yokai, Manderin, looks intensively at the man's (Or boy >.>) eyes, as if they were talking, he would then see a blonde woman appear out of the bushes pointing him and the two other yokai with her sword,

he felt threaten, so he would take more distance and looks at the woman intensively, then sees another man appear talking, he didn't undestand a word but he just stood there observing and had his guard up just in case he was attacked.

So'Uill pulled its head up, some tendons overflowing from its rather rigid jaws. It turned its attention to the sound of something spilling on the ground, accompanied by a rather rancid smell. It seems the two-leg one was the source of this, but it felt no need, no pity, compassion or anything, to check on him. It was, however, wondering what that bile was.

The arrival of the woman had the creature on edge immediately. Its ball-like body tensed, though it started to unroll so it was longer than it was previously. Its jaws parted, the common low hiss echoing. The blade... it was not familiar with it, but it seemed threatening.

Was it good? Bad? Could it hurt the lesser youkai? Whatever the case, it was clearly not satisfied this other one had interrupted its meal. It glanced to the half-eaten corpse, its stomach full for the time being but it still desired more. Uncertain if it could rely on the giga-- which it was merely watching all this time; it was still a top-threat in its mind, its eyes...

The next introduction pushed the youkai to hiss loudly. Who was this and why were there several of these two-legs coming near it? The hiss had increased in volume, though not intensity. It was rather content with its stomach filled, though the fact it was more or less under threat!

It had eventually fallen back upon itself, curling into a ball with its head perched in a bloody, wounded sag of flesh. Its multitude of eyes focused on the two, So'Uill neither happy with this interruption of an interruption nor the fact these persons had the audacity to come here in the first place.

Really, all it was doing was snapping a bite to eat before it was disturbed by another, larger youkai than itself had attacked. Then some two-legs came about and then another one and this mess happened. So much for a calm day of feasting on other lessers.

The only bright side was evasion from death and food.

 "Well the yokai way is disgusting " Nerian cried out in disgust. "and that's how the world works. If you don't like it. Change it. If you can't. Change the way you think of it! Thats what mommy says. . . " he complained before the giga. But then suddenly it seemed to give an apologetic look. Which made him kind of regret the things that he had said.

"Sorry. . . " he said in a low voice before a soft voice would be heard from the woods. Soon to show its source.

A female blonde, good looking but fierce as she approached the scene like a badass. Soon would she only ask him if he was a refugee. Which he was taken aback by.

"Refugee" he repeated in confusion as another human being approached behind her and seemed to whisper. But Nerian was to confused about what the word 'Refugee' had meant. So he didn't get the chance to hear what he was saying to the girl.

Then the lessers would begin to move which confused him even more.

He would then grab at his head and call out " I'm so confused!"

 Looking at Nerian he said in a huff.. "Look, I understand youre a child but. have you ever eaten the meat of an animal? its the same for us yokai. someone had to kill the animal you've eaten wheter it was to feed somone or not. humans just get a guilt free zersion of survival. they dont have to watch as the animal dies in front of them. unless you are a hunter. Do you think the first time I killed it was easy? because it was. we have not evolved as humans have. we are born to survive with the fact that we must kill our own." he felt like he had said a little to much and stopped himself.

looking to the woman brandishing a sword he said. "Hello... I mean the boy no harm at this time. I was just checking on these two lessers." he did not wish to speak with this blode haired lady for long. she was the brash type who attacked without warning.

hearing a bit of the conversation he also talked to shido. "Ah yes some yokai do have your human common sense. I doubht I'd fall under that catogory however. I do not know much about your human ways." Manderin did not care much for chit chat but it would be impossible to fight his way out. especially since there were three magi.

The lesser youkai made up its face. It was getting very dangerous now and, honestly, it was not going to stay here much longer. It decided it was best to leave now so it had a chance to live another day than do much else. With this thought-- and a confirmation nod from the youkai, who was proud to have thought of such an ingenious plan, very well done, very well done-- So'Uill grabbed half of the mega's corpse. Placing its three-fingered hands against it, it pulled back, going so far as to plant both pairs of four-toed feet so it could rip the corpse's flesh from its bones.

This had only one downside: the youkai was flung backwards and it rolled into the tree, which started the wound upon its fleshy neck to begin bleeding again. The blood oozed from the wound as the lesser snapped up as much of the massive chunk of flesh as it could.

With a curt nod to the giga-- as though mere acknowledgement-- and a glance to the newborn, then to the two-leg who had scared off that Tera... the newcomers got a mere many-eyed glare from the lesser. Now, it walked off, though its steps were slow enough to be quiet. It was not going to risk being stopped-- at the sound of footsteps towards it, obviously it was going to take off at top speeds! Which... was not really fast, to be honest.

Off with its chunk of mega youkai flesh for a bit later, when it could stuff its stomach yet again.

"Get out of my head, Yokai ,I don't care for your attempts at diplomacy, Time and time again Yokai have proven treacherous despite their diplomatic attempts and trying to appear human." Tisuna says, then looks towards Shido. "Jin, Don't trust them when they attempt to appear human, and trustworthy, or showing they can relate to us - they're sentient beings just like us at this larger ones level of strength. Anything that smart possesses common sense." she says , then looks towards the Yokai "I don't know what your aims are but a Yokai showing mercy is always for an ulterior motive, but all the same, I return the gesture - and allow you and the lesser ones to leave this place unharmed as long as you make no attempts at treachery."

Tisuna then looks towards the confused child, nerian "Do you stay at the camp?" she asks the child, then motions for him to come closer "I'll bring you back to the camp, if so." she says, watching the boy's expression intently.

 Tisuna was being to generous.

Sighing, he'd shake his head.

"Trust me, I've seen a couple of Yokai that... didn't exactly want to do any evil."

Jin would walk over to the Ookami boy, kneeling down before him. A warm smile on his face, he'd place a hand on his shoulder. For some reason, whenever there was a little kid involved, some sort of big brother instinct kicked in. He didn't know why either. It was pretty strange indeed, but he really did like children. Hopefully he could have some of his own one day. Just had to meet that special girl.

"You should go with Tisuna here. She's a trustworthy person. I may not know her very good now, but I can sense that she's a good soul."

Looking towards the foxlike Yokai, he would seemingly disappear and reappear on the back of it, sitting down.

"Now, Tisuna, I know that you can't just leave this foul beast on it's own now? It's basically shaking in it's boots. It's a coward, and cowards don't have a place in his world. Maybe you should put it out of it's misery."

He'd jump off, walking towards Tisuna.

"I want to see you fight this thing."

Nerian was basically a child put in the front row of all of this. But he tried to process what was going on in his surroundings. Starting with Manderin.

He tried to focus on him as he felt the atmosphere getting heavy. But it wasn't coming from him. No. It was coming from the up-coming blonde who seemed to hate the yokai on sight without giving him a chance. Then we got frosty over here trying to seem as if he's a peace keeper but instead is adding fuel to the flames to have goldy-locks and foxy yoker duke it out. But everything was happening so rapidly. At first, Manderin had seemed to explain the ways of life to him as it some how related to his life. But the Manderin was wrong. He never dared himself to eat his own kin. He would never! Even thought it was apart of Saekanis. It wasn't something that he could be the least bit remotely fond of! So he just shook his head to that but kept quiet. As it seemed that it was the right thing to do as of the moment.

Then, goldie locks had seemed to blow off some steam as she didn't seem to care about making a truce with the Giga. Or even being remotely kind to it. She seemed a bit pissy with the entire Yokai situation. Which caused him to kinda be afraid of her. Then she seemed to relax and ease off tension as she edged closer to him and asked him if he stayed at camp, and that she would bring him back. Which to him made him boggle his mind to come up with a word that his mother had told him that women can sometimes be. Bi? Biology? Biograms? Bi? He was confused at first. But then he remembered that it had to do with the winter. Which made his eyes lit up as he exclaimed in his thoughts

Bi-polar!

A satisfied grin would appear on his lips as he blossomed back into relaity. He knew that it was either that. Or the woman was on her bloody season. Had to be one of the two. Cause his mom is the same way. Or unless, she's just a girl. Which she is! Which makes her almost impossible to read. So he would let off a small shrug as he looked at her with his most innocent face as he reached out with grabby hands.

"Yes. .. I . . I live there with my mommy. . . and I ran into the yokai creatures here. . and. . and!. . . . umm. . what was I saying again? . . . Ooh! yeah! That fox like yokai was pretty mean at first. I named him bully! but after a whileeeee. He became a nice fox bully." he said in his most innocent voice as he pulled off his best puppy dog face to seduce Tisuna to fall for his act. It never failed him before and always enticed the women in his grasp. Being young sure did have its perks.

Then it was snow flake over there. Coming up to him as if he knew everything about him. The man looked like someone his mother wouldn't even trust, and that says alot because his mom was friends with the most edgiest of people. He looked shady from the start and even caused Nerian to consider to act scared and back away as he swatted his hand aside as he exclaimed brattly "Noo!". Not allowing him to touch him. He would then use his "grabby hands" technique once more towards Tisuna as he tried to get an "Uppy". But as he had done so. Mr.Shady guy was already on her and trying to tempt her to fight. Which Nerian complained as he said.

"Shady guy was picking on me eariler. . . he likes to start stuff but doesn't like to do it himself. . . hes. . .mean. . " he said in his most innocent voice that he could pull. He made sure that he didn't mess up in his entire act. That it would go unseen by anyone!

So was he truly mischevious? That could be told if his act works out as he attempted his 'grabby hands' once more towards Tisuna to get an 'Uppy' lift!

Manderin had no reason to fight. but he also had no reason to run either this was his home. he was born here and lived here as a lesser. yawning lazily he laied down like a dog would moving in circles a few times before finding his spot to rest. even if you accounted for size it was still quite cute.

looking at the humans he aid to all of them as his freind boar Lemon laied down beside him for warmth. "I have lived in this forest almost since I was born at the moment my only motive is to rest, my ulterior motive is to sleep soundly.I do not wish to fight a battle I will surely lose nor do I wish to harm humans at this time."

he had done it once and he would do it again. but for now drawing attentioon to himself was a mistake he couldn't afford to make. eating strong magi in the area would likely lead to his death by the hands of stronger magi..

looking at the boy he gave a confused look, for saying he was the mean one. but he dropped it. if he started a scene with the boy this hot headed blode would be at his throught. human men were bad but strong human wemen were worse. he had once killed a mans wife and devored her body in front of him. at the time he had no idea but now it made him chuckle evertime he thought about it. the memory was the one thing he could use to keep his anger in line and supress his dark aura.

"Show him whos boss, Tisuna!, Also that little kid is creepy, you know? Like, wrong creepy." said a voice in the back of Tisuna's mind, youthful and impatient, Serie again - always impatient, eager to see action and seem to often encourage Tisuna to show off their combined powers - the Star could be more then a handful at times.
"Not now, the child is in danger." Tisuna responds, with a mental sigh "I dont know why your so fight happy."

"Cause its fun!" responded the star.

..well ,part of her couldn't deny that it was, but now wasn't the time.

Tisuna looks to Jin "I can't tell if your trying to instigate a fight, or actually mean well - theres a child here, and you want me to start a fight, it seems this child has more wisdom then you do."

Tisuna would have been ready to fight and slay the Yokai if the child hadn't been here - for now though, she beckons the child to follow her "Come, lets head to the camp."

For now she doesn't carry the child - as she owuldn't be able to fight the yokai while carrying them, she sheathes her sword as she begins to walk "I'll carry you when we're safe."

Sigh.

Well, it seemed like the young blonde had decided to retreat. It frustrated him to a point, as he wanted to see what kind of magic she had. That little kid was a bit annoying though. He'd send a cold glare towards him, as if he had some sort of killer intent. Jin didn't exactly have his hands clean either. He's killed humans before, so it would natural that he could summon a sort of bloodlust.

Turning towards the young blonde, he'd frown.

"So you're retreating, Tisuna.. And you're saying that this kid has more wisdom than me.. You act like this kid is just all perfect and hasn't witnessed anything bad before. That mischevious bastard was communicating with these Yokai, for crying out loud. It's whatever, though."

He'd look over towards Manderin, a smirk forming on his lips.

"I guess I'll take care of it, then. Just know that the next time that we meet, we will fight. Of course, that is if you leave."

 It would seem as if the Giga had no business with him anymore as he would give him a curious glance. But Nerian knew that he did something to perhaps persuade Tisuna to avoid the fight. Which Nerian would smile foolishly on the inside as he knew that his plan worked.

On command he would follow Tisuna and as she seemed that she was steadfast on taking him to the camp. In which that he noticed a comment from snow flake over there. Which made him stick out his tounge towards the person as he smelled complete bloodlust off of, Shido Enjin, but he did it in a way that Tisuna wouldn't see. But Shido would. His senses were keen and it was clear to see as he didn't plan on letting this Giga off. So Nerian thougt of making another comment as he pointed at Shido.

"Why is that person so mean?" he would ask innocently as he tugged gently at Tisuna's pants.

"Why does he want to kill that Giga after saying that not all of them are bad?"

 Manderin sighed. he had never had to deal with this in bygongrove. is nostalgia trip was over and now he was annoying. he didn't speak to the whit haired man. he felt he would lose brain cells by being in close priximity with such a brute.

it wasn't like he was too fond of sticking around humans. as he wanderd off with his bud lemon he yawned causeing him to lose concentraion on his anger control. he let out a loud roar along with a release of his pent up occultic energy.

he quckly sealed it up apolegizeing to the woman and child "Oops sorry bout that. I lost concentration there." is all he would say before walking off agan. he would not stop even if they called out to him. only actions would stop him. the energy he had let out was quite strong. he was gaining power as he ate. he wonderd if he could train to become a master of the darkness. but right now he needed to leave.

once Tisuna and the child are safe and sound, she moves to lift the boy, and unless she is stopped she places him on her shoulder and says "Stay balanced." keeps a good grip on him

She then leaps up into the air, over the cliff face before them and lands on the ground, then moves to set the boy down as she says "You should avoid Yokai wherever you can, child." she says. "As for that boy my age - I dont know. I think he just does whatever he thinks is most entertaining without a care for anything else."

As the two takes off, Tisuna would lift him up and on her shoulders while telling him to stay balanced. Which causes him to laugh and tell her "Okay!" with glee

The two made quite a travel back towards camp. When they got there, she would place him down and warn him about Yokais. Then tell him about the other man that he encountered.

But that is when he dropped his act.

" I know. But as the Giga said. Not all yokai are mean. My mother had one as a father at some point before he went off and got killed. So not all of them are bad as that one saved her. As for that man. Watch out for him. He is . . . weird. . . I smelled bloodlust off of him. So becareful will you. . . ." he said before looking over to his side.

"Sorry for tricking you . . . Uh. . I don't know your name. . . I'm Nerian. Ooh, and I live out here with my mother. I don't live in camp. " he finished as his voicee wasn't innocent and sweet. But instead casual and meaningful.

He would finally look up towards her.

"It was nice meeting you though! I'll make sure to pay you back when I can! I look weaker than I actually am. To be honest with you. I'm pretty fast. Just not the best when it comes to raw strength" he said with a more friendly smile

Tisuna holds a hand up and says, her expression is both amused and thoughtful"The act was fine, im not offended - it was a good one to put on given your situation. But believe me when I tell you this, if your mother had a Yokai as father or not Yokai always have some sort of ulterior motive. Humans and other sentient races have made pacts with Yokai in the past, usually for some sort of exchange of power, these exchanges almost always benefit the Yokai in more subtle ways. For all you know that Father Yokai could have been feeding off any possible occult energy your mother had - simply to make himself stronger." Tisuna explains.

"That, and they have quite a big reputation for breaking their pacts when they no longer suit their needs, or they become a hassle, child, and remember this: A large majority of Yokai are allied with the forces of new Alteros."

"I won't tell you to change your mind about how you feel about Yokai - but i strongly advise you to consider what I say."

She does offer a grin at the mention of speed "On that, I can understand, raw power isn't everything when you have the speed and finnese to end a battle in a single strike." She sighs and rubs at her eyes. ". Stay out of trouble, alright? I need to get some rest, and don't worry about repaying me."

Taking in everything she would say, Nerian would nod to it and give a simple

"Alright. ."

He would then smile as to her saying on speed. Which made him smile mischeivously.

"I have a feeling that we could become great friends when I grow up. " he said as his smile got bigger. He would then notice that she would rub at the sleep in her eyes. Which made his smile lessen as he knew that his time with her had ended for now.

"No promises" he said playfully as she asked him to stay out of trouble.

"Yeah. . . I'm getting a bit tired too. Goodnight!" he said as he rushed in to give her a tight hug around her legs. He was merely to short to give her a proper one so this one had to do. As he was doing so, he would whisper " I owe you one though. . . ." before breaking apart and waving her off.

"Hope to see you soon!"
