- ME:hello, yesterday (14/8/2018) when I was playing GTA Online with some of my friends there was a modder in the server who gave us money and shot with guns suitcases full of them. But today I was barred for thirty days and my stuff will be deleted. I really don't want this to happen, and i've had a clean record for the two or three years i've owned this game, and I don't have any cheats on my computer, i wouldnt know what to install them anyway. I can provide proof of my clean record if needed.
- ME:I am being told that i cannot get my account back, but this is truly unfair since I did not do any modding or breaking of the rules. My only mistake was being in the same server as a cheate, who put a tree on my friend and shot money at us and killed us several times. Deleting my progress is unfair, and even though I know all remo are final, this is not something that happened because I did anything wrong, but I am being hit anyway. So I am asking to please reconsider this, because I did not violate any rules.
- R*One moment while we connect you.
- R*Hello, thank you for contacting Rockstar Support, my name is Aaron. I understand that you have been banned in the game, is that correct?
- ME:Yes
- Sorry for the delay in response
- To be very honest with you Mr. Aaron I am not certain what I did wrong
- there was a person who was messing with me and my friends
- he planted trees on us and shot money out of money guns to us
- and merged into me several times so that it was like he was walking
- i did wrong in picking some of the money, but I did not use any cheating tools and dont know how to
- to me, playinmg the game legitimately is fun, and getting billions of dollars and levels ruins that fun
- ive had this game for about three years and got the yacth when it was released, did business runs as a ceo, and all this other things
- is tyhere any way I can appeal this ban because I can show what proof I need to prove i am not complicit in this affair
- hello?
- R*Thank you for confirming and I apologize for the delay.
- ME:you're absolutely fine
- R*GTA Online suspensions are triggered by a number of factors, including modding in GTA Online, exploiting or abusing game mechanics, manipulating protected game data and code, or interfering with other players’ gameplay experience. Suspensions from GTA Online due to these reasons may be temporary suspensions or permanent bans depending on the severity of the infraction.
- ME:yes i have seen this posted before but it does not tell me what I did wrong
- please cooperate with me here Mr. Aaron
- if there is any means of proof i can provide i will gladly do it
- R*Alright, these are the factors that can lead to a suspension on your account. You will never be banned due to another player. Actually, we at support do not have access to the exact reason why a player gets banned in the game as this is done by a higher department. If you have any feedback regarding the ban imposed on your account, you can directly contact our developers and let them know about it. You can email them at GTAOnline@rockstargames.com.
- ME: will do so
- is there any thing I can provide to them to show proof of innocence?
- like any file or something on steam?
- R*Thank you for your understanding, I'm sorry, as the ban is already imposed on your account, I don't think they will revoke it.
- ME: oof
- well I greatly appreciate your assistance
- I hope you have a nice day; thank you for your correspondence
- R*You're welcome, I'm sorry that I couldn't help you today, but I would have helped you for sure if there is anything that could be done. It was a pleasure chatting with you, thank you for contacting Rockstar Support, have a nice day!
