⊱ background; ying yue was born on a cold winter day in guangzhou, china. she grew up in a middle class family. her family worked hard to make sure she had a good life. her parents weren’t always around when she was growing up, so her brother mostly raised her. ying yue got good grades at school & she always put in  her best effort. when she was 8 years old, ying yue started getting interested in acting. she wanted to be a famous chinese actress. her parents allowed her to do acting. she was a pretty famous child actress in china until her parents discontinued her acting career because they wanted her to focus on school. ying yue was upset but she understood that school was more important that her acting career. her brother decided to move out of china right after ying yue graduated high school. she didn’t want her brother to leave so she went with him. they moved to seoul, south korea. ying yue immediately had a culture shock when she first moved there. she was really interested in the culture too. she was really interested in the entertainment business. she especially loved the music that they had. she liked it so much she wanted to become a idol. she started practicing dancing & singing 6 months before she first auditioned for the company she was first apart of, pledis entertainment. she was accepted in the audition & trained with pledis for 8 months before leaving due to health concerns. then she auditioned for fnc entertainment & she was accepted & has been training there since.
