S13 - Blocks Explosion

“I’ll put that on your tombstone!” Bakugo shouted in response. “Now die!” He beelined for Wesker, head-on. Wesker held Bakugo in his sight, from behind those reflective glasses he was so proud of. He didn’t move. He’ll definitely show me his Quirk right now! Indeed, had Bakugo been given Vandal’s knowledge of Wesker, he would have noticed that Wesker made no movement to teleport.

At the last moment, Bakugo shoved a hand downward, blasting himself over the top of Wesker’s head. Wesker’s smirk never wavered. “You’re pissing me off!” Bakugo said, and forced his other hand upward. The next explosion pushed him down, so he now had unrestricted access to Wesker’s exposed backside. He closed an eye and lined up his next shot. “Die already!”

The explosion created a titanic boom, with the shockwave throwing both Bakugo and Liza, who had been running up to the boy, across the room, and through the wall. They tumbled into a hangar, filled with aircraft. This must have been the place where the Kats had gotten their jet from.

Wesker walked out of the person-shaped hole and jumped down to the cement floor, cracking it slightly with the impact. His mirrored shades hadn’t survived the detonation, and Wesker threw the worthless frame aside. “Those who stand in the way of a god will be culled, though you will not live long enough to see the imminent rapture. Uroboros will wipe the world’s slate, and I will indisputably be at the top!”

Bakugo crawled to his feet, and Liza did the same. “Can’t you ever say something new?” he muttered. Wesker’s sneer was seriously pissing him off. He hadn’t learned the nature of Wesker’s Quirk. All he knew were two things. The man had full control of the Ultimate Shield. Greed must’ve died. And two: this Philosopher’s Stone was no joke. If it gave Wesker the ability to outright ignore his explosions, well,

I’ll just hit him even harder!
