(1:36:23 PM) ***Blueshift_North is in the bay where the various blades that make up The Apophis are formed into a big black cube, running a diagnostic on it, since it's been a little while since it was in use.
(1:40:40 PM) Ikiryo: Everything seems to be functional, no error messages...
(1:44:07 PM) ***Blueshift_North stretches, absently.  That's good.  "I would be there already." She mutters, mostly to herself.
(1:46:09 PM) Ikiryo: Adelinda agrees with her...but most everyone else seems more interested in the comforts on the cygnaran ship...
(1:48:48 PM) Blueshift_North: She huffs a little.  She's still more practical.
(1:50:35 PM) Ikiryo: ...and then she hears a large 'clang' noise from elsewhere in the cargo bay...
(1:51:52 PM) Blueshift_North: "Hello?" She calls, as she goes to check it out.
(1:53:00 PM) Ikiryo: Spotting a familiar pretty girl with short, blonde, spikey hair dressed in a blue suit of armour, with a heavy backpack that crackles with lightning and an armoured skirt. She's carrying an odd hammer with a revolver chamber as part of the striking surface. Perched on her shoulder is a small bright blue lizard, electricity crackling along it's back spines.
(1:53:17 PM) Ikiryo: The clang was the revolver chamber triggering as she pokes at the hammer...
(1:54:25 PM) Blueshift_North: "Is. . . it broken?"
(1:55:39 PM) Ikiryo: "Um...I don't know." She frowns...and looks up, starting as she spots North.
(1:56:42 PM) Blueshift_North: "I mean I could get Adelinda to take a look at it if you want? I'm not much of an engineer."  She rubs the back of her head awkwardly.
(1:57:26 PM) Ikiryo: "What are you doing here?" She gives North her best death glare. She's...not very good at it, it's more cute than intimidating.
(1:59:22 PM) Blueshift_North: "I mean.  We're going to assassinate a man who is both a fascist and a quori avatar which is sort of my whole deal?"
(1:59:54 PM) Ikiryo: "Are you going to ruin someone else's life while you're there too?"
(2:00:43 PM) Blueshift_North: "I- okay that's not fair.  I was very careful not to hurt anyone who wasn't on board with Cygnar."
(2:01:53 PM) Ikiryo: "And it's because of you that I'm banished and can't go home again." She sniffles.
(2:02:56 PM) Blueshift_North: "Yeah and I wish that didn't happen.  On the flipside though you participating in dropping Vinter might help with that?"
(2:05:35 PM) Ikiryo: She turns away from North. "Miss Martin and Mr Berger said not to say anything if I can't say anything nice...so I shouldn't talk to you. They saw me off at the spaceport and now I'm never going to see them again and..." She sniffles.
(2:07:05 PM) ***Blueshift_North sighs.  "I. . . look if you have anything to say to me, regardless of how nice it is or isn't, I'll hear it."
(2:08:14 PM) Ikiryo: "No...Miss Martin said to be nice and I'm not going to make her more sad by breaking that."
(2:09:02 PM) Blueshift_North: "For what it's worth I wish you weren't banished."
(2:10:46 PM) Ikiryo: "If wishes were horses, then beggers would ride. I'm going with you all because Eir asked me to and the king of Cygnar is bad...not becasue I like you. I h...do not like you ver much."
(2:11:53 PM) Blueshift_North: "That's fair." She looks sad for a second.  "Yeah that's fair.  I'll ah.  Yeah, sorry."
(2:14:18 PM) Ikiryo: She looks conflicted when North says sorry but resumes her frowning. "I'm going to continue being good, even if I can't ever go home because...that's what a person should do. Even if...even if..." She takes a few breaths, visibly calming herself.
(2:15:44 PM) Blueshift_North: "Look.  If you need to get emotional, or yell at me, do it.  It's better than pretending you're not going to,  Trust me." She says, softly.
(2:18:09 PM) Ikiryo: "No." She shakes her head. "You...you are the reason I'll never see Miss Martin or Mr Berger again...I'm not going to hurt thier memory by also swearing and yelling when they asked me nicely not to." Her voice is shaking...
(2:20:03 PM) Blueshift_North: "I am explicitly giving you permission to. I feel like that changes things a little.  I'd rather you yell at me and get whatever's weighing you down out than hurt yourself, especially because you're not wrong.  It is, at least in part, my responsibility."
(2:21:04 PM) Ikiryo: "And I said no." She goes back to trying to fix her hammer...
(2:22:15 PM) Blueshift_North: "Alright.  Do you want me to call one of my engineer friends to get that fixed for you?"
(2:24:05 PM) Ikiryo: "I don't want anything to do with you. I'm not going to be rude and I'm not going to start a fight...but no, I want nothing to do with you. Eir and Khaira were the only ones who actually cared enough to see what happened to me...I'm not going to just accept 'I feel guilty now that it's directly in my face'."
(2:28:37 PM) Blueshift_North: "I didn't want to throw this in your face." She says, shrugging.  "It's lame, yeah but if I thought actually seeing me again would have helped I would have talked to you about it.  But you're right.  If that's what you want I'll give you your space.  I can't access all the cameras here as easily so I'm not going to be able to make sure we don't end up in the same room as easily but I'll try."
(2:29:14 PM) Ikiryo: "Good." She nods, lip wobbling.
(2:29:28 PM) Blueshift_North: North goes to leave.
(2:30:32 PM) Ikiryo: Once she's out of sight, North hears the other girl start sobbing and crying...
(2:33:37 PM) ***Blueshift_North sits on the floor outside the hanger, looking visibly upset but not really sure what to do, paralyzed because while she'd like to make things better, she's terrified of making things worse.
