  2. Breath of Fire II
  3.
  4. Platform: Snes / SFC
  5. Released (d.m.y):
  6. 02.12.1994 (Japan)
  7. 12.1995 (NA)
  8. 25.04.1996 (PAL)
  9.
  10. Based on: NTSC-J-version (SHVC-AF2J-JPN)
  11.
  12.
  13.
  14. - The game does not show you your play time. Consider tracking it
  15. manually.
  16. - Check the BoF2 guide by Ben Siron for information on the mechanics
  17. of the game. Do note, however, that it's got numerous typos in the
  18. numbers. Over the years, corrections have been made and additional
  19. information has been uncovered by others, mainly Nitrodon.
  20. - The game's game over policy is the "golden parachute;" when you die,
  21. you lose half of the money you're carrying and end up at the last save
  22. point you used. If you can't return to that save point, you'll end up
  23. at some other location.
  24. - Inventory slots: 48 | Storage slots: 126
  25. - Stats
  26. Tsuyosa (Str) | Base ATP
  27. Stamina | Base DFP
  28. Subayasa (Agi) | Base Koudouryoku ("ability to act"), chance to flee
  29. Kashikosa (Int) | Magical damage and defense, debuff hit rate / resistance
  30. Un no Yosa (Luck) | Chance to flee, Cond. changes
  31. Konjou (Guts) | Special abilities
  32. Choushi (Cond) | Critical hit rate, Counterattack rate, Evade rate
  33.
  34. - Vigor = Agi - armor weight. Vigor determines acting order during battle.
  35. - The actual Guts value is not visible. Instead, the game shows flames,
  36. with each flame representing 32 points. Guts is the only stat that
  37. features some random variation in how it increases on leveling up.
  38. - The actual Condition value is not visible. Instead, the game shows a
  39. description (Futsuu / Mazumazu / Eekanji / Baribari) that changes every
  40. 64 points. Condition increases (or possibly decreases) as you spend time
  41. on the field.
  42. - Baribari Condition gives you a base critical hit rate of 37,5%, a
  43. counterattack rate of 50% and an evade rate of 18,75%.
  44. - A counterattack will be a critical hit if the character has landed a
  45. critical hit earlier that round.
  46. - Counterattacks ignore elemental variables.
  47. - Defending decreases damage by either 50%, 36%, 25%, or 19% and affects
  48. both physical and magical damage.
  49. - When a character dies, they have a small chance of being revived with
  50. 12,5% HP.
  51. - Depending on your formation, the game applies additional multipliers
  52. to damage dealt (Dmg a), damage received (Dmg b) and critical hit rate.
  53.

  69.
  70. - A few enemies are highly resistant to magic, but they'll still take
  71. normal damage from spells that are triggered by using items.
  72. - The Exp figure you see at the end of battle is the combined total
  73. amount of Exp all characters gained. Exp is not divided.
  74. - You can surprise the enemy, but the enemy can't surprise you.
  75. - There are three different encounter rates: low, medium and high, as
  76. indicated by the goblin in the menu.
  77. - The overworld consists of 256 (16x16) map sections. By default, each
  78. map section on the overworld has a medium encounter rate (K7 being the
  79. one exception), but it drops to low if Ryuu has reached a certain level.
  80. - Encounters have a fixed set of enemies, but a random variable often
  81. removes one enemy or more from the set.
  82. - Elemental resistance provided by equipment is often quite insignificant.
  83. - Spells can deal critical hits (1,5x damage).
  84. - Equipping two items that grant regen will not increase the effect.
  85. Regeneration will not occur when moving as a frog, rolling, surfing,
  86. flying or when in Huntsvil.
  87. - If you want to stack items without messing up your custom item
  88. arrangement, put them into storage.
  89.
  90. - Common healing items Uncommon healing items
  91. Yakusou s| 40 HP Roosu s| 100% HP
  92. Genkidama s| 100 HP Topurifu Ekisu | 100% HP
  93. Chiryoku no Mi s| +20 AP, -20 HP Rifuraru Ekisu | 120 HP \all
  94. Kitsukeyaku s| Revive w/ 100% HP Hard Senbei | 100% HP\all+DefUpX
  95. Dokukeshi s| Heal Poison Tsuki no Shizuku | Rev./Heal 100%\all
  96. Kiyome no Tsuyu s| Heal Curse Chie no Tama s| 100 AP
  97. Bemu no Namida s| Heal Rotting/Zombie
  98. Bannouyaku s| Heal status s: stackable
  99.
  100. - Status ailments:
  101. Poison | -1 HP per step (nothing in battle).
  102. Sleep | Unable to act until hit with a physical.
  103. Rotting | Turn into a Zombie at the end of the next round.
  104. Zombie | Character attacks own party members.
  105. Curse | Choushi 0
  106.
  107. - Enemies generally inflict ailments using either a single target or
  108. a multi-target attack. The single target one also deals damage, while
  109. the multi-target one does not. Both have what seems like a 50% success
  110. rate.
  111. - Many spells produce visual effects that you shouldn't look at.
  112. - If you want to translate any of the Japanese words, just punch it
  113. into jisho.org.
  114. - The game gives you the option of turning the music off (one of the
  115. very few RPGs on the Snes that lets you do that). While I'm certainly
  116. very fond of the soundtrack, I do turn the music off at times (such as
  117. in SimaFort, when cooking and possibly when grinding).

  164. Hachigane 60 Z Mamorikemuri 100 Z
  165. Tetsu no Kou 120 Z Takezao 300 Z
  166.
  167. - You can rest for free in your apartment on the second floor of the
  168. building near the front gate (not the inn).
  169. - You can't explore the northern part of the town at this time.
  170. - Some buildings are locked at night, and there are also fewer NPCs
  171. around at night. Aside from that, the day and night cycle only really
  172. has a cosmetic effect.
  173. - You can exit the menu instantly by pressing X.
  174. - Don't forget to save your game at the dragon god statue.
  175. - Use L and R to switch the lead character on the field.
  176.
  177. - Don't forget to make use of the handy Auto-Battle (Totsugeki) command.
  178. - Using L and R during battle gives you the Switch and Defend commands.
  179. - You should buy a Dou no Ken and a Tetsu no Kou (370 Z).
  180. - I recommend against updating Bow's equipment. He'll soon end up MIA
  181. and will stay that way for quite a long time.
  182. - Ryu's special skill, Kiai, allows him to heal some of his HP.
  183. - Bow's default special skill, Nerau, has him attempting an instant kill.
  184. (success rate goes down for higher level enemies). His field ability is
  185. hunting.
  186. - Press Select on the overworld to view the world map. It employs map
  187. section based fog.
  188. - The encounter rate in the HomeTown map section drops from high to low
  189. once Ryuu hits Lv5. The neighboring map sections (that have the same
  190. encounters) will still have a medium encounter rate at that point, and
  191. it doesn't drop until you hit Lv8.
  192. - After every battle on the overworld, there's a chance that a fishing
  193. spot or hunting spot will become available. Fishing spots have fixed
  194. locations, whereas hunting spots appear in a random tile. After getting
  195. a kill while hunting, pick up the item as quickly as possible or the
  196. item will degrade in quality or even disappear. When an animal is in
  197. a bush, it can't see you, but you can't damage it.
  198. - If you feel that accumulating money from fighting battles is too slow,
  199. you can sell fish and items obtained through hunting. Hunting in particular
  200. can be a significant source of income at the earlier stages of the game.
  201. A full batch of Roosu will net you 1800 Z, although you should probably
  202. hoard up on it as well, seeing as it fully heals a single character's HP.
  203. - Don't bother traveling east across the bridge yet. Not only are the
  204. enemies tough, but there's nowhere to go, as there's a guy blocking
  205. your way north, and the Exp isn't much better than what you get in the
  206. mountain.
  207.
  208. Items: Hachigane, Hissatsu no Honoo \\\ Futabi Yama ||
  209. Lost & Found: Tetsu no Kou (Corpse), Omamori (Chibi Goblin)
  210. Boss(es): Paaro, Pijo & Putti
  211. - You can probably survive here at Lv3. Stay by the healing spring and
  212. level up to at least Lv5. Leveling up on the overworld will get you
  213. more money, though (assuming you're okay at hunting).
  214. - You'll stop getting encounters in the outside areas once you've fought
  215. 15 battles there.
  216. - You'll fight the boss after passing through the first cave area.
  217.
  218. [Boss]
  219. - 80 / 40 / 40 HP, 150 Exp, 27 Zenny in total
  220.
  221. - Make sure you find both chests before you jump down the hole.
  222.
  223. Item (nc): Suzy (Special, Temp) \\\ Haikyo ||
  224. Boss: Gokiburi b
  225. - There's a fishing spot with a treasure chest (Tetsu no Udewa) nearby,
  226. but you don't have a rod that can pull it up yet.
  227.
  228. [Boss]
  229. - 100 HP, 64 Exp, 15 Z
  230. - There's a good chance it'll regenerate its health upon hitting 0 HP.
  231.
  232. Item (nc): 500 Z \\\ Moto no Machi ||
  233. - As I mentioned, Bow will soon leave the party and remain off the
  234. grid for a good amount of time. Better stock up on those Yakusous.
  235. - Report to the guild master.

  239. - Go talk to Kilgore, then return to your apartment to find Bow.

  250. Seidou no Kabuto 390 Z Bemu no Namida 100 Z
  251.
  252. - There's no dragon statue here. You'll have to save at the church.
  253. - Ranger Suit, Seidou no Kabuto = 900 Z.
  254. - Maniro A can be caught at the fishing spot outside of Coursair, but
  255. you really shouldn't use a Coin on that. You can't afford the stuff anyway.
  256. - If you donate to the church 20 times (2000 Z) either here or in Moto
  257. no Machi, you'll obtain the elusive, yet ultimately useless, key item
  258. Eva no Sho.
  259. - Talk to Rand at the pub at night (if it's day, you can talk to the
  260. barkeep to wait), then head north.
  261.
  262. \\\ Taguji no Mori ||
  263. Items: Yakusou, 100 Z, Yakusou, Coin, Mamorikemuri, 100 Z
  264. Item (nc): Babaderu no Ono (Special)
  265. Boss: Babaderu
  266. - Do *not* travel west or north from the woods!
  267. - Lv7 is enough to survive here, but you need to stay near or at max HP
  268. at all times.
  269. - Make sure you hang on to that Coin. We'll need it for fishing later.
  270. It's not even possible to sell it, so...
  271.
  272. [Boss]
  273. - 169 HP, 150 Exp, 100 Z
  274.
  275. Item: 1000 Z \\\ Coursair ||

  279. Default (Rand): Hand Knuckle (Unique), Kawa no Yoroi, Wristband, Bandana
  280. Bosses: Katt, Augus
  281. - Go deposit all your money at the bank. Heal up and save while you're
  282. at it.
  283. - Check back with Rand at the pub. After that, you're free to enter
  284. the Coliseum.
  285. - After fighting Jinjibuchou (169 xp) and getting the key, head for the
  286. dress room, but do NOT open the chest (the one in the right room. The
  287. left one is a dummy, but feel free to try and get it). Ignore it for
  288. now and just try to open the door beside it to make Rand appear. Once
  289. he's taken all your money, it's okay to grab the chest.
  290.
  291. [Boss]
  292. - 220 HP, 200 Exp, 80 Z
  293. - After the battle, you're supposed to cover Katt, so she doesn't get
  294. hit by the needles (simply hold up on the d-pad). If you succeed, she'll
  295. join you right away. If you screw up, she'll join you after Augus.
  296. |
  297. [PC: Katt]
  298.
  299. - Get new gear (690 Z) and 2 levels for Katt. You can also get a Seidou
  300. no Kabuto for Rand.
  301. - Katt's default special skill, Sasou, tries to force enemies to attack
  302. her. I've never gotten any use out of it. On the field, she can hunt and
  303. smash things with her staff.
  304. - You're going to need the money, so you should learn how to hunt properly
  305. with Katt. Don't approach the animals directly and time your attacks well.
  306. - Katt learns three powerful spells early in the game, but won't have
  307. enough AP to cast them for a long time (Gureigoru (17) at Lv39, Padoraamu
  308. (20) at Lv61, Baruharaa (30) at Lv74).
  309.
  310. [PC: Rand]
  311. |
  312. [Boss]
  313. - 680 HP, 150 Exp, 300 Z
  314. - He gets two turns per round and hits really hard when he uses his
  315. charge attack. With a little luck and prompt healing, you should be okay.
  316. |
  317. [PC: (Katt)]
  318.
  319. - Go pick up a Kawa no Leotard and a Tetsu no Kou for Nina before you
  320. head back to Niro's place.
  321.
  322. \\\ Haikyo ||
  323. [PC: - Rand]
  324. - Rand leaves the party here and will remain MIA for the next two dungeons.
  325.
  326. Item (nc): Yakusou \\\ Moto no Machi ||
  327. - Go see Nina at the magic school, then head for Mt. Rocko.

  332. PC: Nina Lv8
  333. Default (Nina): Ring (Unique), Nuno no Fuku, Wristband, Bandana
  334. Boss: Joker-sama
  335. - There's a little puzzle here involving the name of the boss's nephew,
  336. but you can easily just ignore it. Getting it right allows you to skip
  337. one of the event battles.
  338.
  339. [PC: Nina]
  340. |
  341. [Boss]
  342. - 580 HP, 300 Exp, 200 Z, W:I, R:F
  343. - Have Nina switch her equipment from the item menu (ie. during the battle).
  344.
  345. - Nina's default special skill, Kiryoku, allows her to restore some of her AP.
  346. - Grab a Seidou no Kabuto for Sten on your way to Windia (NW of Coursair).
  347.

  359. 2 Glass no Domino = 4760 Z
  360. - Stock up on Antidotes.
  361. - You can use Sten's field ability to cross small gaps like the one
  362. found south of Windia.
  363. - Sten's default special skill, Shinimane, is, er... not worth using.

  373. Items (nc): Kawa no Yoroi, Biru Medal (Artifact), Chiryoku no Mi, Konjoudama
  374. Boss: Goncharov
  375. - Stay away from the well for now.
  376. - The Biru Medals will have no use, so you don't really need to pick
  377. them up. No big deal if you do. They stack, so, at most, they'll take
  378. 2 slots of your storage.
  379. - You'll likely have to level up for a while before you can take out the
  380. next boss. Lv10 is enough, but I would recommend a little higher than that.
  381.
  382. [Boss]
  383. - 1300 HP, 300 Exp, 500 Z
  384. - Honoo no Iki: 30 pod to all. Quake: ~20 pod to all.
  385. - Seishinha will force one of your characters to attack your own party.
  386.
  387. - After the battle, Ray asks you to rescue the villagers in the well.
  388. There are 6 people in total and four of them have been attacked by
  389. facehuggers. You don't actually have to rescue any of them. Just talk
  390. to Ray and tell him you're done.
  391. - Whatever you do, do *not* save more than 4 villagers.
  392. - If you use a multitarget spell, the villager will get hit first and
  393. inevitably die, forcing the battle to end before the Chiroru is even
  394. hit by the spell. In any case, these battles are always worth 0 xp and
  395. Zenny.
  396. - Afterwards, Ray asks you to take him to your hideout (henceforth
  397. referred to as Kyoudoutai). Better not save your game in case you get
  398. the wrong spell.
  399.
  400. PC: Rand \\\ Kyoudoutai ||
  401. Special: Apurifu / Ribaru
  402. - Ray will offer to teach one of your characters either Apurifu (0-4
  403. villagers saved) or Ribaru (5 or 6 villagers saved). I'd say it's a
  404. choice between Sten and Nina, so go with whoever you're planning on
  405. using more often.
  406. - Rand can now join the party again.
  407. - Rand's field ability allows you to move more quickly, although hitting
  408. something will force you into a random encounter.
  409. - Rand's special skill, Kitsuke, has a chance of reviving a dead character
  410. with 1 HP. You can also use it to wake up a sleeping party member.
  411. - From now on, you can change party members at dragon statues.

  416. \\\ Keha no Mori ||
  417. Special: Fire Puppy, Ice Puppy, Thunder Puppy, Sanamo (Fire Shaman)
  418. - After the Union experiment, head back to Capitan. Talk to the guy
  419. next to the inn to get warped back to Kyoudoutai, where Granny asks
  420. you to go and find a carpenter in Capitan.
  421. - The three new spells you received are quite powerful, but they will
  422. always drain all of Ryu's AP when used.
  423.
  424. \\\ Capitan ||
  425. - The carpenter you want is definitely the guy in the east-most
  426. building (the regular-looking house). Do *NOT* choose any other
  427. carpenter!
  428. - Choosing the guy who makes normal houses allows you to create
  429. stat-boost items by cooking.
  430. - Afterwards, you can finally catch a boat to access the western
  431. continent.

  438. - You can rest for free at the camp site near the lake.
  439. - Watch out for those Ganmen Iwas. Itetsuku Iki tends to hurt (~50 pod
  440. to all).
  441.
  442. - From now on, you're more likely to run into Beaks and Grizzlies while
  443. hunting. Coming into contact with them will initiate a battle (and thus
  444. end the hunting session). Beaks will actively pursue you, take 6 hits
  445. to kill, leave no items, and to top it all off, they respawn after 10
  446. seconds. They're not common yet at this point in the game, but eventually
  447. they will be. If you hit them at the bottom of the screen, you can
  448. basically take them out with a single hit (they'll move off-screen and,
  449. thus, despawn, but they'll still respawn).

  452. Buster Sword 2200 Z
  453. Kenja no Robe 3000 Z
  454. Kokuyou no Kabuto 1800 Z
  455.
  456. - This one shows up very close to the Yamaneko Restaurant. You need to
  457. stay within three vertical tiles from the restaurant. Otherwise, you're
  458. in the wrong map section.
  459. - You'll find Maniros in certain fishing spots. When you catch one, you
  460. can access their shop. The only bait that works is the Coin. It takes
  461. 15 seconds for Maniro to show up. Keep your lure close and you should
  462. be able to catch them with little effort.
  463. - You can get a free Kenja no Robe at Majo no Tou, so don't buy one.
  464. - You'll find a Circlet in the cave behind the waterfall (available
  465. after Majo no Tou). It's one point higher than the Kokuyou no Kabuto,
  466. and everyone can equip it (except for Rand, of course).
  467. - Buster Sword, 2 Kokuyou no Kabuto = 5800 Z.
  468.
  469. - There's a hidden tech you can get at the WildCat Restaurant, but it's
  470. a lot easier once you have Jean. Keep in mind, you won't be able to get
  471. it anymore once you've been to SimaFort.

  480. - You can force yourself a random encounter by stepping on the platform
  481. with a character other than Ryu. Stepping on the switch thingie with
  482. Ryu will also trigger encounters, and once you do it a bunch of times
  483. in a row, the gate will open, and the switch won't do anything anymore.
  484. If you leave the tower, the gate will reset, forcing you to repeat the
  485. process.
  486. - You can ignore the chest (it's empty) and the NPC in the first room.
  487. - If you go east in the area with the last two chests, you'll jump out
  488. of the tower.
  489.
  490. [Boss]
  491. - 550 HP, 400 Exp, 400 Z
  492.
  493. - You can now get the Water Shaman, Seso, on the fourth floor (ride
  494. the right-most platform in the Amidakuji room). If you're planning on
  495. using Jean, you should go get him first, so he can start gaining
  496. experience as soon as possible.
  497. - If you're not feeling too obsessive, you should keep your fusion list
  498. short by only doing the fusions that are the most useful.
  499.
  500. PC: Jean (Tapeta) Lv10 \\\ Sharon no Mori ||
  501. Default (Jean): Short Rapier (Unique), Kawa no Yoroi, Seidou no Tate,
  502. Hachigane
  503. - As you exit the woods, you'll be notified that TownShip has reached
  504. phase 2. This means you can start inviting people to come live in your
  505. village. Before you do that, though, you should go pick up the Chie no
  506. Tama from house #2. Once (or if) you sign up Remington, you can no longer
  507. reach the cupboard in question.
  508. - This is where I (somewhat briefly) get to use my usual party:
  509. Ryu, Katt, Jean, Sten.
  510. - Jean's field ability allows you move in inland waters and hop over
  511. small obstacles. At Level 14, he'll also learn the spell Hyuuru, which
  512. *may* come in handy.
  513. - Jean's default special skill, Tsukitsuki, is an attack that targets
  514. all enemies (low damage).
  515. - STAY AWAY FROM SIMAFORT! You'll lose Jean very quickly upon entering
  516. the place, and we don't want that.
  517.
  518. Items: Circlet, Kamikazedama \\\ Taki no Heya ||
  519. Special: Fire Dragon, Ice Dragon, Thunder Dragon
  520. - Swim down the waterfall to get here.
  521. - The level 2 Dragon spells are all non-elemental and will deal 512 pod
  522. to all enemies so long as Ryu has max AP (or close). (*Technically*,
  523. the Dragon spells have the indicated elements, but at the same time,
  524. the damage is simply unaffected by elemental resistance.)
  525.
  526. Special: Sengiri / HP +16 (party) \\\ Yamaneko Tei ||
  527. Boss: Yamaneko
  528. - We're now going to pick up a hidden technique called Sengiri from
  529. one of the friendly chefs at the Yamaneko Restaurant. The process is
  530. a little tricky, though, as you'll have to fight a difficult boss with
  531. a number of penalties (such as no items), and even if you survive, you
  532. might end up getting the HP boost instead. The HP boost is certainly
  533. worth considering as well, though (unless you're planning on using a
  534. party with Bow, Spar and Bleu). Using something like the Fire Ring as
  535. an item gives you essentially the same effect as Sengiri, and anyone can
  536. use it. The only cost is that it'll take up one slot in your inventory.
  537.
  538. - First off, you'll have to leave your items, no exceptions. Then, you'll
  539. be asked to take off your equipment (numbers 2 - 4) and replace them
  540. with items that have virtually no power whatsoever. This really isn't
  541. going to help you take out the boss, so this is where we're going to
  542. refuse to follow the instructions and fight our way through the Guardman
  543. (I'm sure you can handle him). HOWEVER, you can only afford to do this
  544. twice, otherwise you'll get the HP boost. I suggest you skip numbers
  545. 3 and 4 (you don't even have to read the sign, you can just ignore it),
  546. so you'll only lose your accessories and headwear. If you want the HP
  547. boost instead, ignore the signs from 2-5.
  548. - The salt and pepper thing doesn't do anything.
  549. - Number 6 defines how much HP you'll lose before the boss. Go with Rare,
  550. and you'll only lose 25%. If you ignore the sign, you'll start the boss
  551. with only 1 HP.
  552.
  553. 1. Items (forced, includes accessories)
  554. 2. Hats
  555. 3. Jackets [armor] (napkins)
  556. 4. Weapons & shields (plate + fork)
  557. 5. Salt & pepper
  558. 6. Rare / Medium / Well-done
  559.
  560. [Boss]
  561. - 610 HP, 700 Exp, 400 Z
  562. - With the new Dragon spells, you should be fine. Without them, your
  563. odds aren't great. Try hitting him with Sutooru and Deiru in that case.
  564.
  565. - After the battle, go talk to the chef in the kitchen and choose the
  566. following dialog options:
  567. 7. Omaetachi, steak ni shiyou to shita koto okoteruka? ---> No
  568. 8. Ohitoyoshi da na? ---> Yes
  569.
  570. - And that's it. I gave the skill to Katt.
  571. - The HP boost increases the max HP of all active party members by 16.
  572. It's not much, but it's something.
  573. - Talk to the bouncer on your way out to get your items back.
  574. - Note that Jean can jump over the terrain around Sharon no Mori, so
  575. you don't have to walk through it.

  578. Items (nc): Okoge (H1), Chie no Tama (H2), Fire Spice (H3), Hayameshi
  579. - The Hayameshi is on the bookshelf in Granny's house.
  580. - Unite Sanamo with Sten for a 50% increase in base ATP.
  581. - Keep in mind, you'll lose the bonding if the character's HP drops
  582. below 25% or if the character is Zombiefied. There are a few events
  583. that will cancel them as well (such as when you first visit SimaFort).
  584. - Nowhere in the camp menu does it specifically tell you what (if any)
  585. Soul Union a character has.
  586. - The Kaijodama can be used infinitely to unbond from a Shaman. I don't
  587. pick it up myself, since I don't really need it.
  588. - Note that you are fully healed by simply visiting the Union (Gattai) menu.
  589. - Time to go get some tenants. Here's what I strongly recommend:
  590. House 1: Heckler (Moto no Machi)
  591. House 2: Remington (Capitan)
  592. House 3: Beretta (Windia)
  593. House 4: Kalashnikov (Guntz) / Barose (Inheart)

  618. + Flame Sword, Heat Staff, Rasetsu Haouken = 8180 Z
  619.
  620. - This stuff is pretty expensive, so I suggest you compromise and only
  621. buy a Magma no Yoroi and Flame Shield for Ryuu, as he takes most of the
  622. hits. If Sten is your third character, he should be fine with a Tetsu
  623. no Yoroi (from Swimmer) and a Mashou no Tate. You'll want to hang on to
  624. the Mashou no Tate, as it casts Marekuta when used during battle.
  625. - If you can only afford one of the elemental weapons, go with the Heat
  626. Staff.
  627. - No need to buy anything for Jean. He can use hand-me-downs and the
  628. stuff you obtain in Swimmer Castle.
  629. - Place the elemental weapons (or the non-elemental ones) at the top
  630. of your inventory to make mid-battle switching as quick as possible.
  631. - If you didn't get Sengiri, you should pick up a Fire Ring for defense-
  632. ignoring damage (use it as an item during battle).
  633. - Go talk to your carpenter, and he'll offer to expand the village
  634. for 1000 Z (assuming you already have residents in the first three

  680. - After you find Tata, go talk to his girlfriend, Fiolina, in the courtyard.
  681. - Return to Tata to receive the keys needed to open the two doors there.
  682. - Examine the little wall in front of the buckets (top floor) to find the
  683. hidden stash of cash Tata was talking about. There are three spots in total,
  684. all next to each other (you'll get the usual "Nani ka nai ka na...?" message

  686. - After riding the buckets, you'll soon bump into Kinbae, who attacks

  707. - 1650 HP, 1600 Exp, 800 Z, W:I, R:F
  708. - Definitely bring some Kitsukeyakus for this one. He can deal around

  710. hit.
  711.
  712. - Head down to the kitchen storage to pick up Yua / Patty (and don't
  713. forget to loot the treasure room).
  714. - The Sol Blade is one of five weapons that can inflict instant death
  715. (Sokushi). The odds are only about 5-10%, so it's nothing reliable, but
  716. it does work on all non-event enemies (Waasu resistance is not a factor
  717. at all). It doesn't work, though, if the enemy is at a higher level than
  718. the character. (The enemy's level is what Siron's guide refers to as
  719. the enemy's Luck.)
  720. - Hang on to the Short Rapier for a while. You'll want Ryuu using the
  721. Solblade on the boss after the next boss.
  722. - Note that you can trigger Jean's field ability at the entrance of the
  723. castle, so you don't have to use the boat every time.
  724. - If you want to return to the dungeon (to get Coins), you need to ride
  725. the buckets down, take the elevator up, so it's not blocking your path,
  726. then go and ride the buckets down again. Eventually, you'll need to get

  822. You could also just use a dragon spell or run away and hope it appears
  823. quickly.

  838. - Really the only thing of interest here is the Seinaru Scarf, which is
  839. supposed to lower the encounter rate a little (when equipped on the

  870. survive elsewhere. You might even get lucky and score a Hikari no Udewa
  871. (prevents all status ailments). If you don't get any, that's fine. It's

  878. - The outside areas of the mountain have the same encounters as on the
  879. overworld, but the Gummy Champion encounter seems more common. That,
  880. combined with the healing spring in the first cave, makes this a little
  881. better for grinding (unless you still have some hunting to do).
  882. - There's nothing particularly important here, so you could get the
  883. items later, when you're actually supposed to do the dungeon.
  884. - You'll need to jump off a cliff at one point in order to reach the
  885. Shikkoku no Yubiwa.

  891. - Once you get closer to Level 40, you should be able to survive in
  892. this neighborhood.
  893. - There are some nice drops here, but nothing you can't manage without.
  894. I always get at least one Ai no Udewa at some point. Also, the Daichi
  895. no Yoroi is a good one for Sten. The Shikomidosu is a nice weapon for
  896. Katt, but it's easier to get in the Fog Valley.
  897. - I get one drop from the Cancers before HighFort. If it's an Ai no
  898. Udewa, then I'm done here. If it's a Daichi no Yoroi, I'll come back
  899. after HighFort. Then, if I don't get the bracelet within a few drops,
  900. I'll just come back with Surikae.

  902. \\\ Nusubito no Haka ||
  903. Lost & Found: Elmore no Ken / Demonic Knife (Undead Thief \ 1),
  904. Seirei no Tate (Anubis Mummy \ 1)
  905. - You'll find it easier to survive here than out in the desert, as
  906. the enemies are mostly undead, so you can easily do double damage
  907. with every character (the enemies also have less HP and DFP). You can
  908. survive even a little below Lv30, but I'd recommend closer to Lv35.
  909. You should also get Spar first, so Ryuu can have the Life Armor. It
  910. helps a lot. You'll still likely get some game overs, but it's not a
  911. big deal.
  912. - You're likely looking at enemies doing 50 pod per hit, double with
  913. criticals (less for Ryuu). You'll mostly be fighting Undead Thieves
  914. and Anubis Mummies. The former have a high critical hit rate, and the
  915. latter can cast Reigiru (100 pod).
  916. - Although you can't actually explore the dungeon yet, there's a very
  917. good reason we're here, and that is the Demonic Knife, Sten's ultimate
  918. weapon. So, if you're using Sten, you might as well get it now. You
  919. won't even need Sweh, as "Sheefs" are quite common.
  920. - The Elmore no Ken (usable by Ryu and Jean) is the strongest Holy-
  921. elemental weapon you can find at this point in the game.
  922. - And let's not forget the Seirei no Tate, the fourth strongest shield in
  923. the game, which can be used by everyone except Rand. It's the strongest
  924. shield for Nina, Bleu and Spar. You can buy these later in the game,
  925. but I suggest you get at least one of them now (for Katt).

  927. \\\ Giant's Island ||

  929. Omamori / Hikari no Udewa (Choorukin \ 3),
  930. Holy Plate / Bushin no Kote (Gummy Ou \ 3)
  931. - Better deposit all your money into the bank before coming here. If
  932. you have too much trouble with the enemies, just come back a little
  933. later. Lv40 should be good.
  934. - Rounding up the world tour is the infamous Giant's Island (or whatever
  935. you want to call it), found by sailing south from Guntz. Let's have a
  936. look at the four enemies you can find here, and how to deal with them:
  937. 1. Choorukin | 25 HP
  938. - Use Sengiri. If you don't have that, use a Fire Ring (you know,
  939. as an item). Bring some antidotes to counter Poison Breath.
  940. - Your second source for Hikari no Udewas.
  941. 2. Ganganhead | 1000 HP
  942. - Likes to use Topurifu but only has enough AP to cast it twice.
  943. 3. Atomic Gummy | 900 HP
  944. - These guys have absolutely no resistance to Waasu (the other ones
  945. are immune)(might still fail at lower levels), so cast that if you
  946. can. When needed, you can also use the Mashou no Tate to drain their
  947. AP. They're really not that hard to beat up either, and I always go
  948. with melee whenever Jean's refilling his AP.
  949. 4. Gummy Ou | 1000 HP
  950. - The encounter has three of them by default, The encounter chance is
  951. probably 1/32.
  952. - They only have two moves: their normal attack and Waasu, which has
  953. a 100% hit rate (unless you're wearing a certain elusive accessory).
  954. The odds of Waasu being cast is low at first, but increase as their
  955. HP goes down. Get them below 500 HP with other attacks before you hit
  956. them with a Dragon spell.
  957. - The Holy Plate is pretty much the best body armor in the game. Aside
  958. from boasting very high DFP, it also gives you a 25% chance of nullifying
  959. magical damage (the Gin no Tiara and Yomi no Udewa have the same
  960. ability). It can be equipped by Ryu, Jean, Sten and Bow.
  961. - Using Surikae, you can typically get a Gummy Ou encounter in about
  962. 5 minutes.
  963.
  964. - None of the enemies here have elemental affinities, so that's one
  965. thing you don't have to worry about.
  966. - Sell, drop, or use the Topurifu Ekisus, but whatever you do, don't
  967. start hoarding up on them, as Roosu is so much more space-efficient.
  968. - Hoarding up on some Rifuraru Ekisus, on the other hand, is a pretty
  969. good idea, especially if you don't have Bow or Rand in your standard
  970. party. In any case, don't let them fill up your inventory. If your
  971. inventory is full, enemies won't drop anything.
  972. - This is the place where you'll want to build up to Lv99 (assuming
  973. you're a bad enough dude to do so). You can get one level in about 20
  974. minutes. You should of course do it after getting all the rare drops
  975. you want. The Holy Plate is indeed one of them, but I wouldn't bother
  976. trying to get those without Surikae.
  977.
  978. Fish: Ai no Udewa \\\ Fishing Spot ||
  979. - This one's on Giant's Island.
  980. - Ai no Udewa gives you regen, which can keep you healed up quite well.
  981. Until you get more of them, you can just pass along this one as needed.
  982.
  983.
  984. - As soon as you have the money, you should start cooking stat-boost
  985. items. If you're already at Lv50, you can go ahead and max out anything
  986. you want. If not, you should take the upcoming stat gains at least up
  987. until Lv50 into consideration (your stat gains are very minimal after
  988. Lv50). Hopefully, you've already decided on your final party.
  989. - No need to max everything out. Here's what I recommend:
  990. × Str: Max (255).
  991. × Stm: At least 200.
  992. × Agi: 250. Agility maxes out at 511, but few enemies have more than 200.
  993. × Wisdom: 207.
  994. × Luck: Pass.
  995. × Guts: Pass.
  996.
  997. - Maxing your Agility not only has few benefits, but it also makes it
  998. a little harder to run away from enemies (except the super fast ones).
  999. This is likely due to a programming error.
1000. - In any case, start by depositing all your items, then fill your
1001. inventory with the stuff you can buy at Guntz depending on which stat
1002. boost items you want to create. See the recipes below.
1003. × Stamina's a little tricky, as the recipe involves Bera, so if you
1004. didn't sign up Daiye, you're out of luck (and I *did* tell you to pick
1005. him up). Plus, you have to manage the quantities so as to ensure a
  1006. smooth cooking process. I myself went with 39 F.Spice + 78 Beras
  1007. (8 × 9 + 6).
1008. - By no means do you need to get all of this done right now. If you can
1009. at least take care of your Strength (you'll need about 100k or so),
1010. that's good enough for now.
  1011.
  1012. Strength | Power Food | 3× Kakigoori (300 Z)
  1013. Stamina | Stamina no Moto| Fire Spice + 2× Bera (700 Z)
  1014. Agility | Hayameshi | 2× Kaminariokoshi (200 Z)
  1015. Luck | Lucky Bonbon | mix (eg. Fire Spice + Kakigoori) (200 Z)
  1016. Wisdom | Misonikomi | 2× Fire Spice (200 Z)
  1017. Guts | Konjoudama | 2× Kakigoori (200 Z)

1022. - In case you're wondering, yes, it's possible to give him the money

1034. These two only have 100 HP, but they're revived so quickly, attacking

  1076. \\\ Gate Region ||
1077. Lost & Found: Power Food / Mammo no Kegawa (Mammo \ 1),
1078. Demonic Knife / Elmore no Ken (Chimera \ 2)
1079. - You won't be able to handle the enemies well until you're closer to
1080. Lv50, but you should probably try and get the fishing spot to appear
1081. once you're about Lv30. You can take out Vulcan Rocks with a dragon
1082. spell and you can probably just beat up Marble Golems. The Mammos
1083. have 736 HP, so a dragon spell alone won't cut it. If there's only
1084. one, you should be able to finish it off. You can also use Waasu. If
1085. there's two of them, you might want to try and run away. You certainly
1086. want to run away from the Chimera. So, yeah, you need to get fairly
1087. lucky, but the armor is well worth it.
1088. - Also, if you haven't fished a treasure chest before, go practice with
1089. the one near TownShip. Any input when Ryu is pulling the chest up will
1090. be ignored, so you need to get a hang of the rhythm. If you fail too
1091. many times, the chest will end up too close to you, and you can't really
  1092. hook it anymore.
1093. - Yet another high profile rare drop: the Mammo no Kegawa, Rand's best
1094. armor. If you're using Rand, you definitely want to get it. It can wait
1095. until you get Surikae, though.
  1096.
1097. Fish: Inochi no Yoroi (Unique) \\\ Fishing Spot ||
1098. - This is the one that appears a little west from Gate. There are no
1099. fish here, just a treasure chest that contains the Life Armor, the
1100. strongest armor in the game (Ryu, Jean, Sten). In addition to high
1101. defense, it also grants the wearer regeneration (1 HP per step). It's
  1102. a little heavy, though.

1119. - In case you haven't been here before, you can find the castle on the
1120. outskirts of the desert southeast from TownShip.
1121. - You will no longer have access to this area once you complete the
  1122. events here.
1123. - Sten is mandatory here plus he has to go solo for a while, so if
1124. you haven't been using him at all, you might want to warm him up first.
1125. - Also keep in mind, you won't be able to change any of your party
1126. members, and you'll be stuck in the castle until you finish all the events.
1127. - Make your way to the throne room, and you'll soon find yourself in
1128. control of Sten, while the rest of your party is unavailable.
1129. - The first three items are downstairs from where Sten begins. You can't
1130. get those later (not that they're anything important).
1131. - Although you can't leave the castle, you'll have access to basic
1132. town services for a while. Make sure you're thoroughly prepared before
1133. you challenge Turuboo (Holy weapons, enough free space for treasure).
  1134.
  1135. [Boss: Turuboo]
  1136. - 110 HP, 1750 Exp, 1000 Z
1137. - Simply defend during the first phase (or heal if needed), as you
1138. can't win. It ends after 3 rounds.
1139. - In the second phase (when the bridge is falling), you have 4 rounds
  1140. to kill him.
  1141.
1142. - You'll find a healing spring (first of two) and a save point at the
1143. bottom of the eastern tower, but you can't get back to the item shop
1144. or storage since the bridge is out.
1145. - The next six items are found in Sten's solo section. After passing
1146. behind the throne room, there are three paths. The left and right ones
1147. have treasure. Next, there are two paths. The left one has treasure.
1148. - After being reunited with your three other characters, you can finally
1149. start encountering Soulflickers (common in the areas after the Mahou
1150. no Tobira). These guys drop the elusive Yomi no Udewa, which gives you
1151. magic evade. There's one of these in the final dungeon, but aside from
1152. that, this is your only chance to actually get more of them. I get one
1153. myself (for Katt). Rand is the only character who can only get magic
1154. evade off a Yomi no Udewa. If you want him to get magic evade before
1155. the final dungeon, your only choice is to score one here. Then again,
1156. with his HP, he doesn't really need it as much as, say, Katt or Nina.
1157. - The Dokuro no Udewa makes the wearer slightly more susceptible to Waasu.
1158. - Eventually, you'll find a room with three teleporters
1159. × The left one will take you back to the second healing spring (near
  1160. the MoonMask).
1161. × The right one is the emergency exit. Although you still can't leave
1162. the castle, you can use it to return to the save point or revisit Sten's
1163. solo section in case you missed any items. When you want back, go
1164. examine the switch in the throne room.
1165. × Both the left and right teleporters are one-way only.
1166. × The middle one will take you to the Mahou no Tobira.
  1167.
  1168. [Boss: Mahou no Tobira]
  1169. - 1530 HP, 2400 Exp, 1250 Z
1170. - Honoo no Iki: 50 pod to all.
  1171. - Healed by spells.
  1172.
1173. - Don't miss the last two chests (one of which has the Suzu no Kubiwa).
1174. - One more time: Hang around the areas after the Mahou no Tobira, so
1175. you can score a Yomi no Udewa.

1295. the map sections are laid out, the spot will never appear when you're
1296. actually *on* the island. Instead, stay on the mainland, east of the
1297. island. Once you know where the fishing spot is, re-trigger it while
1298. you're directly south of it. This way you're as close to it as possible,
1299. at the very edge of the map section. Anyway, once the fish appears,
1300. have Jean morph, and start moving along the coastline. Once you hit the
1301. two little mountains, unmorph so you can walk past the little gap, then
1302. morph back and hope for the best. Using Ryu's Raaku spell should help.
1303. - Either way, you'll be needing a fair amount of cash here. The Mars no

1402. - You can explore most of the dungeon with any party, but you won't
1403. be able to finish it without Nina.
1404. - Technically, the first chest is in the castle, but you have to go
1405. through the basement to get it.
1406. - The Valkyrias are common here, especially in the area with the statue
1407. that takes you to Nina's solo section. There are no Gargoyles there,
1408. though, so I'd recommend the earlier areas (I get at least one Hikari

1410. - If you die in Nina's solo section (highly likely if she doesn't have
1411. Shezaaga (Lv22)), you'll end up back at the first statue. This doesn't

1428. The Taiyou no Kamen may be 3 points higher in Defense, but the Gin no
1429. Tiara also grants partial immunity to spells. Most useful considering
1430. none of these characters can wear the Holy Plate (plus then you can

1458. - The Amber Ring is the second strongest ring in the game. You'll need
1459. at least one of these, as the strongest ring is unique.
1460. - The Wisdom Robe is fairly light,
1461. - I grabbed two Hahanaru Koromos; one for Nina and one for Bleu (more

1495. up for Ryu, as it's the strongest Holy-elemental weapon in the game.
1496. - Ragnariders are arguably more dangerous than Gummy Ous. They have
1497. higher ATP and DFP, and can heavily damage your entire party with
1498. Gureigoru, Padoraamu and Shezaaga (~100 pod to all). If there's only
1499. one of them, you don't have too much to worry about, but if there are

1561. - Watch out for Rotting (in case you're not immune). He's also got Waasu.

1566. Lost & Found: Hard Senbei / Slicer (Assassin)
  1567. Special: Kaiser Dragon
1568. Bosses: Ray, Roujin & 3× Guard Eyes
1569. - You will no longer have access to this area once you complete the
  1570. events here.
1571. - Go talk to Tiga in Claris's house to begin the infiltration.
1572. - The monk at the gate will ask you what Eva's real name is. If you
1573. get it wrong, you'll have to beat him up.
1574. - Katt will rejoin the party after the initial event inside the church.
1575. This is the point where Seini becomes available if you didn't find the
  1576. secret areas in Bando.
  1577.
  1578. [Boss]
1579. - The battle ends once Ryu uses Kaiser Dragon (learnt after dealing
  1580. some damage).
  1581.
1582. - Kaiser Dragon deals 999 pod to all enemies.
1583. - This is the point where Beretta's last set of wares becomes available.
1584. - You'll need Rand's field ability to take down a couple of walls after
1585. finding Daisy. Solo becomes available after taking down the second one.
1586. - After taking out the two Yumiheis, jump down from where the first
1587. Yumihei was to reach the Dokuro no Udewa. This takes you all the way back
1588. to the beginning, so feel free to leave (you won't need Rand anymore).
1589. While you're at it, go pick up Solo (and Seini) and get some gear from
  1590. Beretta (listed below).
  1591.
  1592. [Boss]
1593. - DO NOT ATTACK THE OLD MAN if you want the best ending (and the flying
1594. TownShip). I usually don't get it myself. However, even if you save the
1595. old man, you still need to trigger the scene where TownShip gains the
1596. ability to fly to get the best ending. As such, you could save the old
1597. man, but not trigger the flying TownShip scene, and thus still have both
  1598. endings available.
1599. - There are four targets:
  1600.
  1601. A C A: 538 HP, 504 AP, W:F, R:I D: 312 HP
  1602. D B: 538 HP, 64 AP, W:I, R:F
  1603. B C: 538 HP, 504 AP
  1604.
1605. - Each eye only has one spell it'll use:
  1606. - A: Reigiru (~100 pod) (10 AP)
  1607. - B: Padaama (~50 pod \ all) (12 AP)
  1608. - C: Rifuraru (heal 120 HP \ all) (20 AP)
1609. - If low on AP, the eyes will drain AP from Ganer. This is considered
1610. Ganer's action, so the eye still gets to act that round.
1611. - The eyes may rarely defend.
1612. - The machine has an increasing probability to force Ganer to cast a
1613. spell on you. This can only happen when all four targets are alive.
1614. Whenever Ganer casts a spell, the eyes don't get to act. He can cast
  1615. Gureigoru (~100), Padoraamu (~120) and Baruharaa (~180).
1616. - It's easy to hit Ganer unintentionally due to automatic target switching.
1617. If you accidentally kill him, there's no need to reset. Just get a game
1618. over instead (you can just attack your own characters if the eyes aren't
1619. doing it). You should kill one or two of the eyes before that, as this
1620. allows you to see their health bars the next time you fight them. A and
1621. C are considered the same type of enemy (despite their differences), so
1622. killing one of them gives you both of their health bars.
  1623.

  1627. Kaiser Knuckle 25 000 Z Seirei no Tate 18 000 Z
  1628. Amber Ring 11 000 Z Kagayaki no Kabuto 16 000 Z
  1629.
1630. - Baretta's last set of wares is quite impressive. The Kagayaki no
1631. Kabuto is the strongest headwear for Jean, Sten and Bow, the Kaiser
1632. Knuckle is Rand's ultimate weapon, and the Dokyuu is Bow's ultimate
  1633. weapon (kind of).
1634. × I bought only one ShinyHT, and that was for Bow. Sten would get a
1635. free one soon, and Ryu and Jean would receive updates not long after
  1636. that as well.
  1637. × The Armor Pain is Ryu's strongest non-elemental weapon, but there's
1638. really no need for it. Only Spirits resist Thunder, and you should
  1639. use a Holy-elemental weapon for those.
1640. × The Haou no Yoroi is the strongest armor you can buy (usable by Ryu,
1641. Jean and Sten). If you've failed to procure any Holy Plates, you may
1642. want to grab one of those.
  1643. - Kagayaki no Kabuto, Kaiser Knuckle, Dokyuu = 64 000 Z.
1644. - If you saved Ganer and told Eichichi about the machine under your
1645. town, head into the well and your town will be able to fly. It's quite
1646. slow, though, and it's too big to land on the area where the Koutei no
1647. Ken is, but it's still something (especially since you're about to lose
1648. the ability to call Mina).
  1649.

1651. - Revisit Bando for Seini (if you missed her the first time around).
  1652.
1653. Shaman: Solo (Earth) \\\ Fama Mura ||
1654. - Pick up Solo at Daisy's backyard. Solo is the best shaman for Rand
1655. and Spar. The Sproutling form's Hana allows Spar to deal great damage
1656. (albeit uncontrollably and with a slight delay).
  1657.
1658. - WARNING: You will lose the ability to fly on the Great Bird once you
1659. trigger the next event at Gate! If you saved Ganer and got TownShip
1660. to fly, this isn't that big of a deal (assuming you got the Koutei no
1661. Ken). However, if you killed him, make *absolutely* sure you have
1662. nothing left to do in the areas that require the ability to fly. Here's
1663. a recap just in case:
1664. × Evrai island (Takumi no Sao)
1665. × Fishing spot east of TownShip (Koutei no Ken)
  1666. × Island armory / Ragnarider Island
  1667. × Maniro H

1670. Lost & Found: Gin no Tiara / Chishiki no Gown (Habalq \ 5)
  1671. Boss: Habalq
1672. - When you're ready, go talk to Father Hulk at the dragon.
1673. - Explore the little areas of the final dungeon available to you now
1674. to find the last remaining shaman, Shin.
1675. - At this point, you're supposed to go chasing after Patty (CotLnd,
1676. WildCat, ThvsTomd, TownShip), but it's not strictly necessary to talk
1677. to all the NPCs who give you clues on her whereabouts. Simply talking
1678. to the first one at Kotto no Toride is enough. After that, you'll find
1679. her on the second floor at Niro's place.
1680. - After locating Patty, return to Hulk, but make sure you save your
1681. game first. (Well, actually, the game lets you walk away and leave
1682. right before you fight Babaruku.)
  1683.
  1684. [Boss]
  1685. - 2500 HP, 3800 Exp, 5000 Z
1686. - He can cast the most powerful spells, including Baruharaa, but he
1687. tends to go for something harmless like Marekuta. Better bring some
1688. Rifuraru Extracts just in case, though.
1689. - I recommend you get your second Gin no Tiara here, as Habalq has a
1690. decent enough chance of dropping one.
  1691.
1692. - After the battle, you're looking at a fairly important dialog option.
1693. If you choose the first one, you'll get the bad ending. Might as well
1694. check it out. However, in order to receive closure...

1724. - You probably can't get all the items in a single trip. I need 2 myself.
1725. - All the items up to the Final Blow are found in "upper" Infinity.
1726. - You'll have plenty of use for your Holy weapons, especially in upper
  1727. Infinity.
1728. - About halfway through, you'll reach Doraguniiru. This is where you'll
1729. find the first save point (there are two more in lower Infinity). You
1730. can also rest and shop, but you don't have access to your storage.
1731. - Before you go learn Anfini in the shrine below Doraguniiru, I suggest
1732. you pick up a Nyan Nyan Bou. I do it in the area where you find the
  1733. Abarenbou.
1734. - When you get Anfini, your soul unions will be undone.
1735. - If you use Derudan in lower Infinity, you'll be taken to the save point
  1736. in Doraguniiru.
1737. - There are two paths you can take in the final area. You should take
1738. the southern ladder first and get the two items on that path (Dragon
1739. Helm and Seirei no Tate), then return to B1 and take the northern path.
1740. - If you still want Gin no Tiaras, you can encounter Magic Masters in
1741. pairs in most areas in lower Infinity. The B2 level is ideal.
1742. - Once you reach an area that's completely dark, you're about to encounter
1743. Barbario. Do not proceed without a good supply (~10) of Rifuraru Ekisu
1744. (if you're not using Bow or Rand).

  1781. [Boss]
  1782. - 5000 HP, 4000 Exp, 5000 Z
1783. - At first you'll fight him with your full party. However, the battle
1784. ends after inflicting some damage. You then have the choice of fighting
1785. him with Ryu alone (not recommended).
  1786. - Baruharaa: ~130-180. Honoo no Iki / Itetsuku Iki: ~100.
1787. - Even his normal attack hits all your characters, so expect heavy
  1788. damage every turn.
  1789.
1790. - In the next area, you'll find the final save point. The final boss
1791. is just around the corner (straight north after using the teleporter).
1792. - The little rooms you can reach from the area with the Haja no Kanmuri
1793. are the only places in the game where you can encounter Pendragon and
1794. Zodiac (not in the same rooms, though). They have a low encounter rate
1795. and the items have low drop rates. I suggest you forget about them.
1796. - Return to the area where you fought Barbario with Katt and Sten in
1797. their basic forms. Look for a rock you can smash on the right side.
1798. After taking care of that, you'll have to cross a gap with Sten in
