  1. >The doorbell rings
  2. >What the hell? It's almost midnight. Who in their right mind would show up so late?
  3. >You groan and sluggishly pull yourself out of bed
  4. >Throwing on some of your favorite bunny slippers, you flick on the hallway light and make your way downstairs
  5. >You pause, briefly considering if it's a robber of some sort
  6. >The idea is quickly shaken off. That's retarded. What kind of robber would ring the doorbell?
  7. >You grab the handle and throw open the door
  8. "Hello?"
  9. >None's there
  10. >The fuck?
  11. >From the ground you hear a little yawn
  12. >You look down and see-
  13. >Holy shit
  14. >A filly Celestia is sitting on your doorstep
  15. >She looks as groggy are you, if not more so. She's got a little red bow, like the kind you see on Christmas presents attached to her mane and a tag attached to that
  16. >It reads, "To: Anon, From: ???"
  17. >A gift to Anonymous from someone anonymous. Cute.
  18. >Upon making eye contact with you, her expression lights up and she gives you a warm smile
  19. >"Hi! I'm Celestia!"
  20. >Oh god your heart
  21. >No, control yourself. Don't scare the filly
  22. "Uh...I'm Anonymous. But...you can just call me Anon. I think."
  23. >A chill wind blows, making both you and filly Celestia shiver
  24. >"Mr. Anon if it's not too much to ask...Could I maybe...stay here for the night...?"
  25. >Of course you can you cute fucking horse
  26. >Trying to contain your power level, you simply nod and gesture for her to come inside
  27. >She happily does so and you close the door behind her
  28. >What is going on
  29.
  30. >Celestia looks around your apartment in absolute awe, like a kid going to Disney Land for the first time
  31. >She trots over to the couch and leaps onto it like a medium sized dog
  32. >You just stare at her for a while
  33. >What was she doing here?
  34. >After a while she catches you staring and tilts her head
  35. >"What?"
  36. >You shake your head, snapping yourself out of it
  37. "Nothing. Um...would you like anything to drink?"
  38. >She bashfully hides her face behind her hooves
  39. >"Yes please..."
  40. >You nod and walk over to the kitchen
  41. >Considering the time, you pull a jug of milk out of the refrigerator, pour some, and heat it up in the microwave
  42. >After it's all said and done, you carefully take the plastic cup over to her, making sure to be very careful as not to spill
  43. >She's patiently sitting on your couch, staring at you with those big eyes of hers
  44. >Holy shit those eyes are so fucking cute you can't even
  45. "Here you go..."
  46. >You gently place to cup in her hooves, and she gracefully takes it
  47. >You sit in the armchair across from your couch, listening to her little sips and wondering what you should ask her first
  48. "Uh...look, Celestia. I was just wondering-"
  49. >You halt your thoughts as you notice the white filly curled into a ball on your couch, snoring gently
  50. >You chuckle quietly and grab a blanket
  51. >Of course. She's young and probably exhausted. There would be time for questions in the morning
  52. >You place the blanket over her and walk back to the stairs, taking one last look at her
  53. "Goodnight 'Tia."
  54. >Maybe you were imagining it, but it looked like a faint smile on her face
  55. >You flick off the light and walk back to your room in the dark
  56. >Filly Celestia was now a resident in your home
  57.
  58. >POOMF
  59. >Something heavy lands on your bed
  60. >What the-
  61. "AAAAAH!"
  62. >You let out an exclamation of surprise as you see a pair of bright violet eyes gazing into yours
  63. >You end up falling off the bed and end up landing on your head
  64. >CRITICAL HIT
  65. "Owwwww..."
  66. >Celestia scrambles to the edge of your bed
  67. >"Mr. Anon! I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to startle you!"
  68. >You rub the spot that you fell on, forcing a laugh to cease the filly's worrying
  69. "Nah, I'm fine. I've been hit by worse."
  70. >She raises an eyebrow in skeptic concern
  71. >"Are you sure?"
  72. >You stand up slowly, trying not to get a headrush
  73. "See? Perfectly fine!"
  74. >This seems good enough for her, as she visiblly relaxes and smiles
  75. "Now let's go get some breakfast."
  76. >She nods and jumps off your bed, cantering out the bedroom door
  77. >You follow her downstairs and haul your ass into the kitchen
  78. >You can't exactly cook, so you look around for something she can eat
  79. >Bingo
  80. >With an expert combination of oats, water, and a little bit of cinnamon, you're able to whip up a bowl of oatmeal
  81. >It isn't exactly gourmet, but it'll do
  82.
  83. >Celestia walks over to your table and tries to pull a chair out. She succeeds, but actually getting onto the chair is out of her control
  84. >"Um...Mr. Anon?"
  85. >You laugh and place the oatmeal bowl on the table
  86. "Here, let me help you out."
  87. >You stoop down and lift her up. She's not light, but not overlly heavy either. She's about the weight of a small child
  88. >You set her down gently in the chair and she beams at you
  89. >You'd be willing to help her into that chair a million times for that smile
  90. >She curiously looks at the bowl
  91. >"What is it?"
  92. "It's oatmeal. It's pretty simple, so I hope you don't mind too much."
  93. >You give her a spoon which she takes with her magic
  94. >She cautiosly lifts up a spoonful of the goop and feels it with her tongue. After deciding it's good enough to eaten, she hungrily devours the rest of the contents of the bowl
  95. >She levitates a napkin from the center of the table over to her mouth and gently pats the corners
  96. >"Thank you Mr. Anon. That was very tasty."
  97. >You smile at her and wave a hand
  98. "Bah, it's nothing. I could probablly whip up better if I really applied myself to it."
  99. >Celestia seems completely enthralled by this idea
  100. >"You can make better?"
  101. >You blush a little bit at having been put on the spot
  102. >"Well...maybe. I don't know. Anyway, there was something I wanted to ask you about your stay."
  103. >A wave of something that resembles dread washes over her
  104. >"Am I...going to have to leave now?"
  105.
  106. >That hit you hard
  107. "NO! No, you're fine! I quite enjoy your company actually. It's just...where did you come from? And why are you here of all places?"
  108. >She paused and thought long and hard, searching for an answer
  109. >"I dunno."
  110. >What
  111. "You...don't know?"
  112. >"Nope."
  113. >Well that was pointless. You consider pushing her further for an answer you can hold on to, but you remind herself she's still just a child
  114. >Hell, she probably knows less than you
  115. "Well...until we figure it out, would you...maybe like to stay here?"
  116. >Her face gets brigher than the sun, pun aside
  117. >"Ohhhhh! Can I really?!"
  118. >You nod
  119. >"Thankyouthankyouthankyouthankyouthankyou!"
  120. >She jumnps down and hugs your leg. She turns to leave the kitchen but stops at the entrance
  121. >"Oh, and Mr. Anon?"
  122. "Yes?"
  123. >"I'm really looking forward to trying your food."
  124.
  125. >The rest of the day passes quietly. Celestia is content to exploring your apartment or watching you go about your daily activities
  126. >For lunch you made macaroni and cheese
  127. >For dinner, ramen
  128. >You really need to get better at cooking
  129. >Soon, it's time to start winding down. You shower and head downstairs to check up on her
  130. >"Mr. Anon, can you tuck me in?"
  131. >You take the same blanket you placed on her the night before and wrapped it around her like a cute little burrito
  132. "Better?"
  133. >She giggles a little bit
  134. >"Better"
  135. >You nod and make your way up stairs
  136. >"Goodnight Mr. Anon!"
  137. "Goodnight Celestia."
  138. >The lights flick off
  139. >You settle into bed and drift off
  140. >Knock knock kncock
  141. >It feels like you'd just gotten to sleep, but you're pulled out of it regardless
  142. >You mumble into the darkness
  143. "Come in..."
  144. >Celestia opens the door and walks in cautiously as if she were entering a minefield. Which, in her head was probablly what was happening
  145. >"I-I'm sorry to disturb you Mr. Anon, b-but I..."
  146. >She inhales before pushing her embarresment aside
  147. >"I had a nightmare..."
  148.
  149. >You beckon for her to sit next to you
  150. >She scurries over and fumbles to pull herself onto your bed
  151. "Do you want to talk about it?"
  152. >She takes another deep breathe
  153. >"I was alone...Except, there were faces...they kept yelling at me for being different..."
  154. >She trails off and starts to sniffle
  155. >Oshit, red alert. Crying females aren't in your job description
  156. >At a loss for what to do, you give her a hug
  157. "Hey...I'm still here, aren't I? You don't have to worry about being alone anymore."
  158. >"B-b-b-but, what if you d-d-don't like me anymore?"
  159. >You tighten the squeeze of your hug
  160. "That's not going to happen. You're the most likeable pers...pony in the world!"
  161. >She sniffles and wipes an eye
  162. >"Y-you think so?"
  163. "I KNOW so. I won't ever make you leave. This can be your home as much as it is mine. I mean...if you want."
  164. >She sighs with relief
  165. >There's a long silence between you two before you breaks it
  166. >"Anon?"
  167. >This is the first time she's dropped the formalities. You decide to return the gesture
  168. "Yes, Tia?"
  169. >"C...can I sleep with you tonight?"
  170. >Your heart beats a little bit faster. No one has ever slept with you before, romantically or not
  171. "S-sure!"
  172. >You move over a bit and she digs her way through the blankets. It doesn't take long for her head to pop out and rest on your pillow
  173. >She blinks once with those large innocent eyes and smiles
  174. >Then she moves over a little bit and rests her head on your chest
  175. >You try to remain calm, but you're fighting a losing battle against sheer cuteness here
  176. >"Your heart is beating kind of fast Anon."
  177. >You shrug and try and slow your breathing. She can't get to sleep if you're all tense, you remind your dumbass self
  178. >You wrap an arm around her, which proves to be the right choice of action because Celestia is completely calm now
  179. >She snuggles up against you a little bit more before letting out her signature light snores
  180. >The warmth of another living being on you makes you tired as well, and soon you're gone
  181.
  182. >Beep beep! Beep beep!
  183. >Fuck
  184. >The woes of Monday morning are shared simutaneously throughout every man's soul
  185. >You smack the alarm clock and will yourself into an upright position
  186. >Celestia is sleeping next to you peacefully. The alarm didn't wake her it seems
  187. >Which makes you feel like shit considering what you're about to do
  188. >You nudge her gently
  189. "Tia..."
  190. >She makes a barely audible noise and shifts her position. At least she's awake
  191. "Tia, I have to go now."
  192. >Her eyes shoot open and she almost throws herself upright
  193. >"What? But you said you wouldn't leave!"
  194. >Oh shit, she got the wrong idea. You guess being half awake will do that to someo...somepony
  195. "Nonononono, it's only for a few hours. I'll be back for dinner."
  196. >This calms her down a little bit, but not by much
  197. >"But what am I going to do?"
  198. >Fuck. You've hated work before, but now that you have to abandon Celestia while you do it makes you hate it a thousand times more
  199. "Well, I could make you some breakfast and lunch for you to eat later."
  200. >"Thank you, but what will I do for today?"
  201. >Shit. You hadn't thought of that
  202. >Stumbling out of bed, you dig into a drawer at your desk
  203. >Gotcha
  204. >You proudly take your prize and set it in front of Celestia
  205. >"What are these?"
  206. "These are crayons. You can draw on paper with them. There's all sorts of colors to."
  207. >She visibly lights up, delighted at the prospect of custom art. She almost completely forgets about you having to leave
  208. >Almost
  209. >"I'll miss you, Anon."
  210. "I'll miss you too, Tia."
  211.
  212. >You made the both of you a breakfast of cereal
  213. >She poked at it for a bit before trying it, but gave it approval after finishing it off
  214. >Leaving sucked
  215. >You gave each other a brief hug (which Celestia tried to extend by latching on to your neck and trying to come with you) and then you were off to work
  216. >The day dragged by like you were stuck in the asshole of Father Time
  217. >All you could think about for most the day was Celestia
  218. >Where on earth did this miniture cartoon horse come from?
  219. >Finally, your work shift ended and you drove home
  220. >You unlocked the door and walked inside
  221. "Tia, I'm home!"
  222. >Celestia sits in the middle of the floor with papers strewn all about as she happily colors. When she sees you, her face shifts to an expression of pure joy
  223. >"Anon!"
  224. >She breaks into full gallop towards you
  225. >You crouch down and catch her hug, which is so powerful it ends up knocking you flat on your back. She snuggles up against you
  226. >"I'm so happy you're back!"
  227. >You smile in response
  228. "I'm happy to be back. Did you manage without me?"
  229. >She nods
  230. >"Mm-hm! Look what I drew!"
  231. >She floats a piece of paper over to you
  232. "Oh? What's this?"
  233. >Your heart nearly stops
  234. "T-Tia, is this..."
  235. >You gingerly take the piece of paper from her
  236. "...us?"
  237. >She nods eccentrically
  238. >"Your suit was kind of hard to draw, so I made it a rectangle. I hope you don't mind."
  239. >Your eyes start to water at the simple crayola art piece
  240. "Th-thank you. It's wonderful."
  241.
  242. >"Anon, why are you crying?"
  243. >You wipe an eye
  244. "People don't always cry when they're sad. Sometimes they cry when they're really happy."
  245. >"Are you happy right now?"
  246. >You nod and give her a giant hug
  247. "Happiest I've ever been in my life."
  248. >You break the hug and walk into the kitchen
  249. >Celestia curiously follows you, probably confused as to what you're doing
  250. >You reach into a drawer and withdraw a simple round magnet to hang the drawing on the refridgerator
  251. "There. Now I'll be able to see it every morning."
  252. >She grins proudly
  253. >"So...what's for dinner?"
  254. >You think about this for a while. When you were living by yourself, most of your meals were just scavaged
  255. >Then, an idea strikes you
  256. >You grin at Celestia
  257. "How about...we try cooking together?"
  258. >She gasps, and gives you a mile long smile
  259. >That probably means yes
  260.
  261. >Celestia screams as the fire alarm goes off and your entire kitchen is soaked
  262. "WHY. I JUST WANTED TO MAKE A CORNBREAD."
  263. >After bating away the smoke with a broom, the water finally shuts off and the two of you stand there sopping wet
  264. >It started off simple enough: You searched for a recipe online, gathered the ingrediants...
  265. >But then you two started goofing off
  266. >It started with you booping her nose with batter on it, then devolved into her chasing you around the kitchen with an armada of towels at her disposal
  267. >And then you lost track of time and the fire alarm went off
  268. >The two of you stand there for a little while longer, before breaking out into laughter
  269. "Mental note to self: Set the timer next time."
  270. >She nods and you both proceed to collect your spoils
  271. "OW. OW. HOT. OW."
  272. >Another mental note to self: Buy some oven mits
  273. >The pan of burned cornbread lands ungracefully on the table and you both stare it for a while
  274. >"It looks like your suit."
  275. "Eheheh, well...you've gotta start somewhere, right?"
  276. >Smooth
  277. >You grab two plates and cut two pieces, putting them on her plate and your plate respectively
  278. >She frowns at the food
  279. >Shit, think of something
  280. >Before you can think any further, you grab your piece and stuff a large portion of it in your mouth, grimacing while you do so
  281. >You fight back your gag reflex and begin chewing
  282. "'ee? Ah fwood if fwine!"
  283. >You open your mouth wider for emphasis, which causes her to giggle
  284. >"Ewwwww!"
  285. >But your plan works. She finishes her slice, even though she enjoyed it about as much as you did
  286. "Why don't we get some premade meals next time?"
  287. >Celestia nods strongly with a silly grin
  288. >"Let's."
  289.
  290. >You clean up the kitchen which has been made doubly messy by the fire alarm
  291. >After your work is done, you take a look at Celestia who is still damp from the whole experience
  292. "I think you should take a bath before going to sleep tonight."
  293. >She tilts her head quizically
  294. >"What's a bath?"
  295. >You grin
  296. >Oh, the wonders you were about to reveal
  297. >You hiked upstairs got the water in the bathtub running at a nice warm tempreture
  298. >Then, you added your secret ingrediant
  299. >Bubbles
  300. >One might argue that is was odd more a grown man to have the soap needed for a bubble bath, but it was a nice way to decompress on really stressful days
  301. >You hear Celestia come up from behind you
  302. >"Anon? Whatcha doin'?"
  303. "Behold...the BUBBLE BATH!"
  304. >You step away from your creation and proudly present it like a magician
  305. >She blinks
  306. >"What does it do?"
  307. >Without another word, you pick her up and carefully place her in the tub
  308. >Her confusion goes from confusion, to breif terror, to one of absolute bewilderment
  309. >"EEEEE! It's like sitting on a cloud!"
  310. >She squeals with delight and splashes around in the water
  311. >You chuckle, glad to see your craftsmanship pay off
  312. "Alright, alright. Lemme wash your hai-mane."
  313. >You pick up some shampoo and rub it into her scalp
  314. >"Hehehe! I have a cloud on my head!"
  315. >You can't held but grin in response
  316. "Oh no! Here comes a raincloud!"
  317. >You pour some water on her head, which makes her look at you mischeviously
  318. >"I'm the monster from the deep! Rawr!"
  319. >She splashes some water at you
  320. >You laugh and throw your arms up in defense
  321. "Hey, cut it out!"
  322.
  323. >Celestia plays in the tub a little bit more to the point of even befriending the rubber duck
  324. >After you've successfully washed her, you drain the tub and dry her off
  325. >She shivers slightly upon exiting the bathroom however
  326. >You notice this and start thinking of possible remedies for this
  327. "Hey, I've got something for you."
  328. >You lead her to your room and dig around in your dresser until you find what you were looking for
  329. "Those are some old pajamas of mine. I can't fit in them anymore because they're too small for me, but maybe they'll work for you."
  330. >She gratefully takes them and trips over herself trying to get them on
  331. >You chuckle a bit at the sight
  332. "Here, let me help you out."
  333. >After a little bit of difficulty, the jammies are on Celestia were successfully placed
  334. >In the end however, they looked way too big and goofy on her
  335. >Despite how they look, she seems comfortable enough in them
  336. >She jumps up on your bed and stares at you with those big eyes of hers
  337. >"Anon? Can you read me a bedtime story?"
  338. >A bedtime story? It's a wonderful way to end the night, but do you know of any bedtime stories?
  339. >No, you don't
  340. >But you could make one up
  341. >You take a seat next to her on the bed as she snuggles up next to you
  342. "Once upon a time, in the magical land of Equestria..."
  343.
  344. >The week passes with each moment you spend with Celestia being wonderful
  345. >Finally, Friday's workshif ends and the weekend begins
  346. >It's Saturday morning, and Celestia is playing in your backyard
  347. >It's warm out, and you're about to doze off
  348. >Then Celestia screams
  349. >With all the time you've spent with her, you're able to tell when her screams are out of happiness or agony
  350. >This wasn't a happy scream
  351. >You launch yourself onto your feet, only to stop yourself when you see Celestia galloping towards you with something in her levitation field
  352. >"Anooooon!"
  353. >She places it in your hands
  354. >"Something's wrong with him!"
  355. >It's a baby bird with a broken wing
  356. >Oh shit oh shit oh shit oh shit
  357. "Uh...um..."
  358. >"Can you fix him?"
  359. >Your mind races for possibilites. You gulp
  360. "I'll...I'll see what I can do."
  361. >You dig up an old shoebox and some cloth and gently set the baby bird inside
  362. >You pull a dropper out from your kitchen, fill it with water and try giving the bird something to drink
  363. >The bird weakly accepts and lays its head down
  364. >Meanwhile Celestia is watching you the entire time
  365. >Just when you think it can't get any worse, the bird's breathing slows
  366. >No
  367. >No, you CAN'T die!
  368. >It isn't long before the bird stops breathing completely
  369. >Nonononononono
  370. >"Hey...Mr. Birdie...? Wake up..."
  371.
  372. >Shit this isn't good
  373. >Fuck
  374. >You take a deep breath
  375. "Celestia, he's not going to wake up."
  376. >She gives you a confused glance
  377. >"What? Why not?"
  378. >You're going to have to explain death to her
  379. "Well...we all have life. It's what keeps us awake. When we die...that's when we lose our life, we can't...wake up anymore."
  380. >Celestia looks completely distraught at this. Her eyes begin to water
  381. >"S-so...I won't be able to see Mr. Birdie again...?"
  382. "...No, I'm afraid not."
  383. >At this point, Celestia has began to cry
  384. >"Why didn't you fix him?!"
  385. "I tired! I'm sorry, there wasn't anything I could do..."
  386. >"You're lying!"
  387. >She gallops up the stairs sobbing
  388. "Celestia, wait!"
  389. >She heads for your room and slams the door
  390. >Shit, that hurt. She had never called you a liar before. Or expressed any negative emotion at you for that matter
  391. >You run up the stairs after her and grab the handle
  392. "Celestia, please...Open the-"
  393. >You turn the handle and the door opens. It appears she didn't lock it
  394. "...door."
  395. >She has her face burried into your pillow and is quietly sobbing now, hiccuping as she does so
  396. >You sit down next to her gingerly
  397. >How to go about this...
  398.
  399. >She looks up at you
  400. >She's a complete mess
  401. >"Why did Mr. Birdie have to die...?"
  402. >You pat her reassuringly
  403. "We all die eventually. It's a natural part of life. Some people believe in Heaven, which is where we can all meet up again after we die."
  404. >"Will Mr. Birdie go to Heaven?"
  405. >You don't know. You're not sure what you beleive, but in this moment, comforting Celestia is what's important
  406. "Yes, Mr. Birdie is in Heaven right now."
  407. >She sniffles and sits up
  408. >"I'll miss him very much."
  409. "Me too. If it makes you feel any better though, I'm not planning on dying any time soon."
  410. >"Y-you'd better not..."
  411. >She buries her face into your side
  412. >You laugh half-heartedly and pick her up, cradling her as you walk out of the room
  413. "C'mon. Let's go get some lunch."
  414.
  415. >Months pass and the weather starts to get colder
  416. >Celestia approaches you and questions you frequently about the changes occuring around you two
  417. >"What's wrong with Mr. Tree? Why is he losing his leaves?"
  418. >You find it cute how she adds Mr. in front of everything unfamilier to her. It makes you feel especially good when you realize she stopped calling you Mr. Anon after meeting you
  419. "Oh, he just doesn't like the cold. Once it gets warmer again, his leaves will grow back."
  420. >"So he'll be alright in the Sping?"
  421. "He'll be alright in the spring."
  422. >Before you know it, it's December
  423. "Hey Celestia, come outside!"
  424. >The little white filly trots over to the door, opens it with her magic, and steps out
  425. >"What is it, Anon?"
  426. "Look!"
  427. >You point to the sky as the Winter's first snowflake drifts slowly down
  428. "Snow!"
  429. >It lands on her nose, making her blink and shake her head
  430. >"Brrrrr! It's cold!"
  431. >This emits a small laugh from you
  432. "I need to get some Winter gear for you. But until then, I don't think you've ever had hot chocolate or sat by a fireplace."
  433. >Celestia shakes her head
  434. "Well then, today will be a first!"
  435.
  436. >You've been getting better at preparing food as the months passed, so making hot chocolate is a breeze
  437. >You walk slowly with the two cups over to where Celestia sits on the couch
  438. "Here you are milady."
  439. >She does a courteous little bow as she takes the mug
  440. >"Much obliged my good sir!"
  441. >You both giggle at the silly formalities. It's especially funny for you because of all the neckbeards who try and act chivalrous and drop all of their spaghetti
  442. >You set your mug on the coffee table and get to work placing kindle in the fireplace
  443. >After some you light it and poke around at it a bit, the flames jump to life, roaring and crackling as tiny embers are sent through the air
  444. >Celestia stares at the fire, mesmerized by it
  445. >"Whoa..."
  446. "Do you want to sit in front of it?"
  447. >She throws you a confused glance
  448. "It's safe, I promise."
  449. >To further prove your point, you take a spot in front of the roaring fire and pat the ground next to you
  450. >Celestia trots over with trepidation. She trusts you, but isn't completely sure it's a good idea
  451. >After sitting down she pauses, then looks up at you with a giddy smile
  452. >"It's so warm~!"
  453. >You chuckle and nod
  454. "Yep. That it is."
  455. >Celestia takes a sip from her mug, before pulling it back in surprise
  456. >A bit of marshmellow got stuck to her nose. She goes cross eyed for a moment, staring at it and giggles
  457. >"Mr. Marshmellow likes me so much he doesn't want to leave!"
  458. >You laugh at the sight and pick up a tissue
  459. "Here, lemme get that for you."
  460. >After you clean her snout and both of you finish your hot chocolate, Celestia curls up in your lap like a puppy and yawns
  461. >You have never been more comfy in your life
  462. >You stroke her fur and hum as she dozes off
  463. >Before long, you doze off too
  464.
  465. >"ANON! Anon wake up!"
  466. >Celestia shakes you out of your sleep
  467. "Mm...? I'm awake, I'm awake. What's up?"
  468. >"The world outside is white!"
  469. >Wha-?
  470. >Oh
  471. "Lemme take a look."
  472. >You pull yourself to your feet and trudge over to the window
  473. >Sure enough, the outside has a couple feet of snow
  474. >You grin at her
  475. "Do you want to go outside in it?"
  476. >She gasps
  477. >"ohhh, can we?!"
  478. "Sure. But first, let me at least get you warmly dressed."
  479. >After some digging around, you find a stripped blue scarf, matching ear muffs, and some black boots
  480. >You fit them all on her, and it looks fine for the most part
  481. "All right, let me put on a jacket and we'll head outside."
  482. >You do so and Celestia takes her first step into Winter Wonderland
  483. >"Anon! Anon! Look! The snow is in the shape of my hoof!"
  484. >She prances around, rolling in the fully moldable world that is snow
  485. >"Hey, do you want to build a snowman?"
  486. http://youtu.be/9YwXff-i1fY [Embed]
  487.
  488. >With the help of Celestia's magic, and your adult male body strength, you two role three balls of snow
  489. >One small, one medium and one large
  490. >With great precision, you place each ball on top of the other
  491. >"Now what?"
  492. >You pause
  493. "Wait here."
  494. >She raises an eyebrow and plops her flank in the snow
  495. >After a short while, you emerge from the house with a pair of sticks from the kindling stash, a carrot, two buttons, and little bits of coal
  496. >You offer them to Celestia, who takes the smaller objects with great care and starts to decorate the face
  497. >WE CAN REBUILD HIM
  498. >As you stab the two sticks into the snowman's side, you funny thought crosses your mind
  499. "The snowman never asked for this."
  500. >"What?"
  501. "Nothing."
  502. >Soon, your work of art is complete
  503. >You both step back and admire the snowman
  504. >"Still feels like he's missing something..."
  505. >She pauses before prancing happily over to the structure
  506. >With her levitation spell, she takes off her scarf and wraps it around the snowman's neck
  507. >"There! Now he won't have to worry about getting cold!"
  508. >Her thoughtfulness and way of putting others before herself never ceased to surprise you
  509. >You smile and turn to go inside, but stop
  510. >Celestia's back is turned
  511. >You grin a devilish grin, feeling the human incarnate of the grinch and loving every moment of it
  512. >You stoop down and begin to pack some snow together in your palms
  513.
  514. >You launch your projectile
  515. >SPLAT
  516. >"Hey!"
  517. >Direct hit!
  518. >She whirls around and pouts angrily at you
  519. >"That wasn't fair!"
  520. "Well you know what they say, the best defense is a good offense!"
  521. >You begin to pack another snowball, when two cold projectiles smack into your face
  522. >Wait, two?
  523. >You look up and see Celestia already has twenty or so snowballs held in her levitation field
  524. >Oh shit
  525. >Without a second thought she begins launching them at you in rapidfire
  526. >Pafpafpafpafpafpafpafpaf
  527. >You throw your snowball, but one of her own crashes into it, canceling it out
  528. >With her not giving you much time to replenish your ammo, you do the one thing humans have done to survive since the dawn of time
  529. >Run
  530. >But even as you run, snowballs are still slamming into your back
  531. >Maybe challenging Equestria's goddess to a snowball fight wasn't such a good idea after all
  532. >Regardless of whether it was or not, you laugh as you make your retreat
  533. "I regret nothing!"
  534. >You trip and fall face first in the snow. You turn around to get up, but she already has you pinned down
  535. >"Apologize to your princess!"
  536. >You clasp your hands together
  537. "Forgive me your majesty, I was wrong to attack you with a snowball."
  538. >She grins and throws another snowball in your face
  539. "Hey!"
  540. >"Apology accepted."
  541. >You both laugh as you stand up to go back inside
  542. "Come on, let's go get warm."
  543. >You pause for a moment, thinking it odd how she referred to herself as a princess
  544. "By the way, Princess Celestia?"
  545. >She shrugs
  546. >"It just seems like it would be a cool thing to be when I grow up."
  547. >You nod. Every little girl wants to be a princess after all
  548.
  549. >It's the 25th of December
  550. >You call Celestia over to where you sit by the fireplace
  551. >"What is it, Anon?"
  552. >As she sits down, you make sure she doesn't notice the box behind your back
  553. "Do you know what day it is?"
  554. >She shakes her head
  555. "It's Christmas. And on Christmas you can give a gift to someone you really care about."
  556. >You push the box over to her
  557. "Merry Christmas."
  558. >She stares at the box with wide eyes, then looks to you
  559. "Go on, open it."
  560. >Without waiting another moment, she tears into the box and removes
  561. >"A BIRDIE!"
  562. >The red and orange bird flaps up to Celestia and sits on her head
  563. "It isn't exactly Mr. Birdie, but she can at least act as your friend for now and play with you when I'm not home."
  564. >"Ohhhhh, thank you so much Anon!"
  565. >She wraps her forelegs around your neck in a tight hug
  566. "What are you going to name her?"
  567. >She pauses, thinking long and hard about a propper name
  568. >"I dub thee: Philomena!"
  569. >You figured she'd chose that name based on your knowledge of her
  570. >But you start to hear Celestia sniffle
  571. "Tia? What's wrong?"
  572. >She wipes an eye with a forehoof
  573. >"I-I d-d-d-din't g-get you anything..."
  574. >She hiccups
  575. "Aw, Tia...You don't have to worry about me. I've got plenty."
  576. >"B-but you said you get a g-gift your someone you r-really care about. And I r-eally c-c-care about you Anon."
  577. >You pull her into a giant hug
  578. "You're the best gift I could've ever received. So you don't have to worry, alright?"
  579. >She sniffles and manages a smile
  580. >"A-alright..."
  581. "Merry Christmas Tia."
  582. >"Merry Christmas to you to Anon."
  583.
  584. >You and Celestia stayed up late for New Year's, which resulted in you both crashing
  585. >The day after though, you hear her cough
  586. "That doesn't sound good."
  587. >She looks at you with her her nose all red and her mane a mess
  588. >"Anon, what's wrong with me?"
  589. "It sounds like you've caught a cold. Maybe we shouldn't have stayed up that late last night."
  590. >"But I'm not cold. I feel all hot and icky."
  591. >She sniffles
  592. "It's when you're sick. You aren't healthy, so you don't feel good."
  593. >Her eyes go wide and a little bit of fear creeps into her voice
  594. >"Will I be alright?"
  595. >You smile reassuringly
  596. "Of course you will. You just need some rest. Wait here while I go get some medicine. Philomena, keep an eye on her."
  597. >Philomena chirps and flies over, landing on Celestia's back
  598. >That was weird. It was like she understood you
  599. >Then again, you've got a talking cartoon horse living with you, so nothing's outside the realm of possibility anymore
  600. >You come back later with a damp towel, a thermometer, and some vitamins
  601. >You figured giving her a pill would be too risky, so vitamins were the next best thing
  602. "I'm going to check your tempreature now. Can you hold the thermometer under your tongue?"
  603. >She nods
  604. >You gently place the thermometer in her mouth and towel on her head
  605. >102. That's not good
  606. "I'm going to make you some soup. Does that sound good?"
  607. >She weakly smiles
  608. >"Yes. Thank you Anon."
  609. >You realize as you prepare the soup just how responsible you've become over the past few months
  610. >You bring the steaming bowl of goodness over to her and set it down
  611. "You might want to wait for that to cool. Anyway, I'm going to let you get your rest now."
  612. >You turn to walk away but Celestia calls you with a dry voice
  613. "Yes?"
  614. >"I love you, Anon..."
  615. >You smile warmly, comprehending true joy
  616. "I love you too, Tia.
  617.
  618. >Celestia got better soon and Winter begins to fade away
  619. >She was a little upset that the snowman the two of you built had to melt, but you promise to build one with her next year
  620. >And she was delighted to see the trees were growing their leaves back like you said they would
  621. >Celestia seems to enjoy Spring a lot considering it means she gets to play outside again
  622. >She does an assortment of cute things like chase butterflies, bring you flowers, and roll around in the grass
  623. >She's playing outside and you're making lunch for the two of you, when your clumsy ass self gets burned on the stove
  624. "Ow! Fuck!"
  625. >From behind you, you hear a voice
  626. "Anon, what's "'fuck'?"
  627. >You whirl around
  628. >Sure enough, Celestia is standing right at kitchen entrance
  629. >Shit
  630. "Uh...well, it's a bad word that you shouldn't say."
  631. >"But then why did you say it?"
  632. >You sigh. She has a point
  633. "I'm not perfect unfortuantly. But I sure can try."
  634. >"Oh...Why is it a bad word?"
  635. >You thought you had dodged a bullet
  636. >Nope.avi
  637. "Well...it's a not nice way of saying making babies."
  638. >"Oh, okay."
  639. >She smiles and sits at the table, seeming content with this answer
  640. >You set the table and the two of you begin eating lunch
  641. >You're in the middle of drinking some water when Celestia asks
  642. >"Anon, how are babies made?"
  643. >You turn your head out spit out the water onto the floor
  644.
  645. "Well...when two members of the opposite gender love each other very much, they can take a little bit of each other and make baby."
  646. >"So we could have a baby togther?"
  647. >You tought it would be safe to take another sip of water
  648. >You thought wrong
  649. >You choke on the water and cough violently
  650. "Well...not exactly. They would have to be the same age or at least close to it, and the same species."
  651. >"Oh..."
  652. >She sounds disappointed
  653. "Well, when you're old enough, maybe you can find another nice pony to start a family of your own with."
  654. >"But what if I don't?"
  655. >You pause and think about an answer
  656. "Well, I guess you could always adopt. The baby wouldn't be related to you though because it's someone else's."
  657. >"W-why would they give up their own baby?!"
  658. >You sigh. This is a tricky one
  659. "Sometimes they can't take care of it, and sometimes...they don't love it."
  660. >Celestia's face becomes downcast
  661. >"Am...am I adopted...?"
  662. "...Sort of?"
  663. >Her eyes start to water
  664. >"S-so, my mommy and daddy don't love me...?"
  665. >You jump out of your chair and hug her
  666. "No! Well...I don't know. Maybe they just couldn't take care of you."
  667. >She buries her face into your shoulder
  668. "I'll tell you what I DO know though. We may not be related, but that doesn't mean I love you any less. And I guess...if you want I could be your dad."
  669. >She looks up at you and smiles a bit
  670. >"I thought you were already."
  671.
  672. >Spring passes and soon it's Summer
  673. >It's early in the morning, and you shake Celestia gently
  674. "Rise and shine sleepyhead~"
  675. >She rolls around in the bed
  676. >"Ugh...it's too early..."
  677. >You nudge her a little more so she doesn't go back to sleep
  678. "But if we don't get up early, we'll be late!"
  679. >She sits up groggily
  680. >"Late? Late for what?"
  681. "You'll see."
  682. >Getting her ready and out the door was like putting a snail on a Nascar track
  683. >It takes some time, but soon you're both in your car and on the road
  684. >"Where are we going?"
  685. >You simply grin at her
  686. "It's a surprise."
  687. >You spend a couple hours on the road and make a few pit stops so Celestia can tinkle
  688. >"Are we there yet?"
  689. "No."
  690. >A few minutes later
  691. >"Are we there yet?"
  692. "No."
  693. >A few more minutes later
  694. >"Are we there yet?"
  695. "Tia, we won't be there for quite some time longer. Why don't we listen to some music?"
  696. >She nods and picks a disc at random, placing it in the CD reader
  697. >Your car is a little older, and as such doesn't have a music jack
  698. >The CD begins to play
  699. >It's Queen's Greatest Hits
  700. >Oh hell yes
  701. "Come one Tia, you know this one!"
  702. >The two of you proceed to sing Bohemian Rhapsody
  703.
  704. >The CD finishes and you arrive at your destination
  705. >You park the car and grab a bag from the trunk
  706. >"Where are we?"
  707. "Welcome...to the beach!"
  708. >In front of the two of you lies a great expanse of water and sand as far as the eye can see
  709. >Celestia's jaw goes slack and she just stares for a moment or two
  710. >"It's...it's like a giant bathtub!"
  711. >She looks at you, as if asking if it's okay to go play in it
  712. >You wave a hand
  713. "Go on!"
  714. >She blissfully runs into the sand
  715. "It's like warm snow! I LOVE the beach!"
  716. >You laugh and run after her. You specifically picked a day when you knew no one would be there
  717. >The less people panicking about a talking cartoon horse, the better
  718. "Hey, check this out!"
  719. >You open your bag and remove a bucket. Placing as much sand into the bucket as you can, you then turn it upside down
  720. >Celestia stares at the magic of sand
  721. "With enough skill, time and patience, you could even make a sand castle!"
  722. >She gingerly takes the bucket before exploding into a flurry of sand and work. You chuckle and lie down, soaking in the rays
  723. >A good portion of time has passed before Celestia calls you
  724. "Hey Anon!"
  725. >You sit up
  726. "Yeah? What is i-Oh. Oh wow."
  727. >Celestia has made a sand replica of Canterlot. It isn't life size of course, but the attention to detail is amazing
  728. >"Do you like it?"
  729. >You nod
  730. "I do. That's REALLY good. Way better than what I can do."
  731. >She blushes and folds her legs sheepishly
  732. >She turns her attention to the waves, forgetting all about the sand Canterlot
  733. "Well, come on then. The water won't bite."
  734. >You laugh and walk over with her
  735.
  736. >She stops right in front of the waves
  737. >"It moves on it's own..."
  738. >You want to explain to her that it's actually the moon that moves the waves, but you figure she wouldn't understand yet
  739. >She walks over to the wave as it receeds and "eep!"s as it rushes back suddenly, jumping away from it
  740. >You remove your socks and shoes and wade into the water
  741. "See? It's fine!"
  742. >"I-if you say so..."
  743. >She waddles in slowly and blinks
  744. >"I don't know how to swim."
  745. "Well, then I'll teach you!"
  746. >Your lessons went by rather difficultly. Swimming tactics for humans didn't exactly apply for small horses
  747. >At one point she gulped some salt water and got discouraged, but you were able to coach her into trying again
  748. >In the end, she swam much like a horse would, but with the advantage of her tiny wings to propel her along
  749. >You can't help but think she looks a little bit like a motor boat
  750. >You two playfully splash some water back and forth for a bit, then Celestia pipes up
  751. >"Anon, put me on your shoulders!"
  752. "Hm? Why?"
  753. >"I want to see the edge of the world!"
  754. >You laugh and put her on your shoulders. It isn't the edge of the world, but if she wants to think it is, that's fine
  755. >She stares at the horizon, breathing in the salty air
  756. >She exhales, completely relaxed
  757. >You hate to ruin the moment, but you both have to get back soon
  758. "Celestia..."
  759. >Before you can continue, Celestia nods
  760. >"I know. Time to go."
  761. >You walk over to the sand and set her down
  762. >"But can we come back sometime?"
  763. >You smile and nod at her
  764. "Of course we can."
  765.
  766. >Weeks pass
  767. >"Anon, it feels funny when I eat..."
  768. >You inspect Celestia's mouth, realizing her teeth are massivley crooked
  769. "It looks like you're going to need braces."
  770. >"What are those?"
  771. "It's something that gets put on your teeth to make them straight."
  772. >She pauses
  773. >"Will it hurt?"
  774. "A little bit, yeah."
  775. >She visibly grimaces and looks down at her hooves
  776. >"I don't want them..."
  777. "Tia, you're going to need them if you want to eat comfortably again."
  778. >"No! I don't want them!"
  779. >And so it begins. The first of the rebellion acts
  780. >She storms upstairs and locks herself in your bedroom
  781. >Part of you was hoping she'd forget to lock the door again, but no such luck
  782. "Tia, please open the door..."
  783. >No response
  784. >You sit down with your back to the door
  785. "You know, I had braces once. I hated it at the time, but I'm thankful that I went through it. Sometimes, hardships make us stronger."
  786. >You hear a click as the door unlocks
  787. >"I-I'm scared."
  788. >You hug her
  789. "I know, but I'll be here for you every step of the way."
  790. >She hugs you back
  791. >"Promise?"
  792. >You smile and stroke her mane
  793. "I promise."
  794.
  795. >She ends up going through with the braces ordeal, and how you go about it is genius
  796. >You brought her to a nearby dentist. Everyone in the office couldn't stop staring, but with a little cash, everyone agreed to keep their mouths shut
  797. >You even paid the dentist double to work on her teeth
  798. >You were going to have to make trips every few months or so to get them adjusted, so it was important to intergrate her sooner rather than later
  799. >The dentist stares at her, and Celestia stares back. You can't blame either of them. Talking horses was unusual. And Celestia...
  800. >This is her first experience with other humans besides you
  801. >"So miss...uh..."
  802. >"Celestia."
  803. >"Miss Celestia, you're here for some braces?"
  804. >She nods
  805. >"Alright. Can you follow me please?"
  806. >She looks at you nervously
  807. "Go on. It's fine."
  808. >She trots after him cautiously
  809. >Under his breath you hear him mumble something
  810. >"My patient is a flying unicorn. Now I can say I've seen it all..."
  811. >Celestia emerges about an hour later with a frown and walks over to you
  812. >"It feelth weird an' I thalk funny."
  813. >You stifle a giggle
  814. >"Don' lauth!"
  815. >You finish paying everyone, and sigh. You knew this was going to burn a hole in your wallet, but damn...
  816. >You take Celestia home and begin helping her adjust to this change in her life
  817.
  818. >Celestia has started to get used to her braces. She still doesn't like them, but at least she can function with them
  819. >Most of the trials and tribulations you went through when you had them don't happen to her however, maybe because of the different teeth
  820. >You're a little jealous of her reduced pain experience, but happy she doesn't have to go through the same shit you did
  821. >"Anon, where are we going?"
  822. "It's another surprise! You like surprises, don't you?"
  823. >"Only when they're nith oneth."
  824. "It's a nice surprise, I promise."
  825. >You drive a little farther before stopping and pulling over to the side of the road
  826. >"Why did we thtop here?"
  827. >You simply smile and step outside, taking a seat on the hood of your car
  828. "It's July 4th!"
  829. >She sits down next to you and and raises an eyebrow
  830. >"Tho?"
  831. "So..."
  832. >A screech in the sky goes off, followed by an explosion of vibrant color
  833. "That means we get to watch the fireworks!"
  834. >She jumps and hides behind you at first, but after a couple more go off she starts to come out
  835. >"They're...so pretty..."
  836. >You nod. It's pointless to say anything at this point because of how absorbed in the display she is
  837. >"Anon, look! That one's in the shape of a heart! Ooh, and that one's a smiley face!"
  838. "So it is!"
  839. >You look over at her. The colors reflect off of her face very gracefully. She really is adorable
  840. >Soon, the grand finale arrives and the fireworks cease
  841. >"Awwwww...over already?"
  842. >You gently ruffle her mane
  843. "Don't worry, the fireworks come every year. We'll see them again."
  844. >She nods and smiles
  845. >"Okay."
  846. >As you drive back home, she is lulled to sleep by the vibrations of the car
  847.
  848. >You first notice your roof has a leak when a droplet of water falls onto Celestia's head
  849. >"Anon, the roof is wet!"
  850. >Oh yeah, and Celestia can talk normally now
  851. "There must be leak. Wait here while I go fix it."
  852. >You leave the house and climb onto the roof
  853. >It's raining, so of course you're getting drenched while working on repairs, but better you then your home
  854. >With the loose shingle successfuly replaced, you start to make your way down
  855. >Then you slip
  856. >Shit
  857. >SHITSHITSHITSHITSHITSHITSHIT!
  858. >You desperatly try to grasp onto something, but everything's too wet and slippery to hold on to
  859. >So you fall
  860. >CRUNCH
  861. >Oh no
  862. >Oh GOD no!
  863. >Pain flares up all through your leg. You glance it to see it's bending the wrong way
  864. "AAAAAAAAAAUUUGH!"
  865. >Celestia gallops outside with a worried expression on her face
  866. >"Anon what's wrong? I heard something..."
  867. >She goes quiet
  868. "Anon, your leg..."
  869. >No. No please, she doesn't need to see this
  870. >Her face gets serious. You thought she would panic, but she seems to be doing the opposite
  871. >With strength you didn't even know she had, she levitates you inside the house and places you on the couch
  872. >"Wait here."
  873. >She gallops off, and the pain consumes you, making you black out
  874.
  875. >You awake the next morning to the chirping of birds
  876. >Or rather, A bird
  877. >"Is he awake, Philomena?"
  878. >Celestia canters over to you with a tray of breakfast. It appears you slept through the night
  879. >You go to sit up but the pain in your leg causes you to wince, so you resign to lying down
  880. >You laugh weakly
  881. "When did you learn how to cook?"
  882. >She winks at you and sticks out her tongue
  883. >"I learned from watching you!"
  884. >You glance at your leg to see it wrapped in a cast
  885. >What the...
  886. "When did you...?"
  887. >"I taught myself how to read. And something in one of your books told me what to do if this happened."
  888. >You're suddenly glad you got rid of all of your clop shortly after Celestia arrived
  889. "That's pretty impressive."
  890. >She sets the tray down
  891. >"So until you're feeling better, Doctor Celestia is in!"
  892. >She grins proudly
  893. "I thought you said you wanted to be a princess?"
  894. >"Well, a princess has to be able to take care of her subjects, right?"
  895. >You nod
  896. >"And if I can't even take care of my favorite person, I wouldn't make a very good princess, now would I?"
  897. >She winks and then runs off
  898. >You love that filly so damn much
  899.
  900. >You're driving home from work
  901. >Summer's almost over, and as such the days are getting shorter
  902. >You open the door and
  903. >Crayon
  904. >Crayon is all over your wall
  905. "CELESTIA!"
  906. >She runs over
  907. >"W-what is it, Anon?"
  908. "What is this?!"
  909. >You point angrily at the wall
  910. "I thought I gave you paper!"
  911. >She realizes she's in trouble and flattens her ears against her head
  912. >"I-I ran out of paper and thought y-you'd like a m...mural..."
  913. >The last part of the sentance just barely escapes her mouth
  914. >You want to yell at her some more, but stop yourself and look at her
  915. >She's obviouslly really sorry and didn't mean any harm by it
  916. >Besdies, you could always paint over it
  917. >Or...
  918. >You pick up one of the crayons and walk over to the wall
  919. >Celestia bites her lower lip as she watches you, then her eyes go wide as she sees what you're doing
  920. >You start to doodle on the wall
  921. >"A-Anon?!"
  922. "You said you were trying to make a mural, right?"
  923. >She nods cautiously
  924. >"Y-yes..."
  925. >You sigh and smile at her
  926. "Then let's make a mural."
  927. >She gallops over to you and hugs you, before picking up a crayon and joining you
  928. >In the end, it's an inanimate object
  929. >Relationships are important, and why ruin the one you have with Celestia?
  930. >Some might call it being a pushover, but you think maybe she learned more from your forgiveness then she would if you had punished her
  931.
  932. >It's now October 31st
  933. >You've decorated your house with spooky scary skeletons, cobwebs and other sorts of various decorations
  934. >Celestia doesn't like it one bit though
  935. >"It's too creepy..."
  936. >You don't respond
  937. >"A-Anon...?"
  938. >You spin around, wearing a monster mask
  939. "OOGA BOOGA BOOGA!"
  940. >She screams and slaps your leg
  941. >"That's not funny!"
  942. >You grin widely
  943. "Sure it is!"
  944. >She turns away and pouts
  945. >"I hate Halloween."
  946. >You raise an eyebrow and reach into a bowl next to you
  947. "Really? Even with the...FREE CANDY?!"
  948. >You have her attention
  949. >She briskly takes a piece of chocolate from your hand and munches on it
  950. >"Okay, maybe it's alright..."
  951. "Do you have your costume ready?"
  952. >She nods happily and places a tiara on her head
  953. >"Ta-daaaaa!"
  954. >2cute4u
  955. "Come on, we've gotta go to other people's houses before it gets too late."
  956. >She follows you outside
  957. >"Are you sure it's alright?"
  958. "Yeah. They'll probablly just think you're a cute halloween costume or something."
  959. >She puffs her cheeks like Kirby
  960. >"Very funny..."
  961. >The night goes by smoothly. Your plan works, and Celestia gets a boatload of candy
  962. >She even gets a hug from a little girl. That is a mental image you'll keep for the rest of your life
  963. >At the really scary houses, she'd cling to you for deal life
  964. >Soon, it's time to go back
  965. >You can't help but think about how in a few days, you'll have been living with Celestia for a full year
  966.
  967. >You're laying in your bed
  968. >Celestia, on the other hand/hoof is sitting by the window watching ths sunrise
  969. >She notices you wake up and smiles
  970. >"Oh! Good morning Anon!"
  971. >You smile back
  972. "Mornin'. Man, can you believe it's already been an entire year?"
  973. >She frowns, looking at the ground
  974. >"And we still don't know anything about where I come from..."
  975. >You remove the comforter and sit on the edge of the bed
  976. "Celestia...I haven't been completely honest with you. And I'm sorry, I really am."
  977. >She gives you her trademark look of confusion
  978. >"Huh...? What...what do you mean?"
  979. "I mean I know where you're from. I didn't want to tell you at first, because...well because I wanted you to stay with me. And that was selfish and wrong."
  980. >Her expression changes from confusion to hurt
  981. >"You...you lied to me?"
  982. "No! Well...yes. There's really no way of justifying it. What I did was wrong. But that bedtime story about Equestria is actually a real place in another world."
  983. >Man you feel like shit right about now
  984. "I don't know how you got here, or even how to get you back, so at the time I just took care of you."
  985. >She looks away in disgust
  986. >"So you didn't really care about me after all. Just the idea of me, is that right?"
  987. >This gets you pretty angry actually
  988. "No. No, everything I did for you, everything I said, I meant. I love you for you, and nothing else."
  989. >Her expression softens
  990. >"So...what do I do...?"
  991. >All you can do is shake your head in resignition
  992. "I don't know. I can spend the rest of my life with you, but you can't spend the rest of your life with me."
  993. >Her eyes go wide in fear
  994. >"Wh-wh...what do you mean?"
  995. >You sigh. Shit, this is hard
  996. "I mean, you'll live for thousands of years and me...maybe just 100 if I'm lucky. You can either leave before I'm old or watch me die, but there's no way around it..."
  997. >Here comes the kicker
  998. "I'll die before you will."
  999.
1000. >Celestia's eyes start to water, her completely forgetting that flash of anger beforehand
1001. >"What...? No! No, there must be some other way. You...you c-can't go before I do!"
  1002. >You smile weakly
  1003. "I'm sorry."
1004. >She jumps onto your bed and burries her face into your lap, bawling
1005. >"It's not fair! If you go..."
1006. >She can barely squeeze the words out, and you too have begun to cry
  1007. >"If y-you go I'll b-b-be all alone again..."
1008. >You nudge her gently, forcing a smile as hard as you can
1009. "At least we can meet up in heaven, right?"
  1010. >"Th-that's too long to w-wait..."
1011. >You wipe your own eye, but there really is no way to soften this blow
  1012. "So that's your choice."
1013. >She's quiet for a really long time. You almost think she's fallen asleep. You're about to nudge her, when she finally speaks
1014. >"I'll stay. The hundred years I get with you will make up for the thousand without."
1015. >Now it's your turn to cry like a bitch
1016. >The tears just won't stop fucking flowing
  1017. >"Anon?"
1018. >Celestia sounds concerned, but you smile and hug her close
1019. "Don't worry Tia, these are tears of happiness."
  1020.
  1021. >The doorbell rings
1022. >It's almost midnight, what the fuck
1023. >You groan and flop out of bed. You really have to do something about these midnight visitors
1024. >Celestia groggily opens her eyes
  1025. >"What...what's going on...?"
  1026. >You rub your eyes
1027. "I dunno. I'm gonna check it out."
1028. >She plops back into the bed
1029. >You flick on the hallway light and make your way downstairs
1030. >You start to think it's the government come to take Celestia away from you
1031. >Just in case it is, you grab a baseball bat by the door
1032. >No one was fucking taking that filly from you
1033. >You carefully open the door, your heart beating a million miles an hour
  1034. >And there's no one there
1035. >You freeze dead in your tracks. If this is what you think it is, then that means...
1036. >You look down on your porch
  1037. >No
  1038. >Fucking
  1039. >Way
1040. >Sure enough, a filly Luna stares up at you with big curious eyes and a bow is attatched to her mane
1041. >She smiles shyly and looks down
1042. >You just sit there staring at her for a moment
  1043. >And then you laugh
  1044. "Here we go again."
  1045. >And you couldn't possibly be happier
  1046. The end
  1047. http://youtu.be/HE2LyEukqsM [Embed]
  1048.
1049. >The majestic white alicorn princess Celestia sits on her throne holding a piece of paper in her levitation field
1050. >Her younger sister, princess Luna sits next to her
  1051. >"Thinking about him again?"
1052. >Celestia sighs and weakly smiles
1053. >"How can I not? He showed me the world, taught me, raised me..."
  1054. >"Raised US."
  1055. >Celestia smiled
  1056. >"Yes, us."
1057. >Somepony knocks at the massive door to the throne room
1058. >Celestia quickly hides the piece of paper and calls to the door
  1059. >"Come in!"
1060. >A royal gaurd marches into the throne room
1061. >"You're majesty, your presence is needed in the courtyard."
1062. >She nods and looks to Luna
  1063. >"Coming, sister?"
1064. >Luna nods and trots out with her sister
1065. >Behind her throne sits a very old crayola drawing
  1066.
  1067. ALT ENDING
1068. "Well, took you long enough."
1069. >Celestia smiles warmly at you
1070. >"A princess must first tend to her kingdom."
1071. "Oh? And that leaves no time for her loved ones?"
1072. >You two grin and hug
  1073. >Luna clears her throat
  1074. "I didn't forget about you. C'mere you."
1075. >You give her a big hug too
1076. "Man, who knew that humans age slower in Equestria?"
1077. >"I certaintly didn't. Now come, our tea is getting cold."
1078. "Alright, I hear ya, I hear ya."
