  1. 19:15:47 [Indrastra] [>]The cave was well let, at least there's that. Crystalline growths on the wall and cieling dance and spark with electricity, throwing intermittent and harsh light through the cave. the group would see a flash of blue light disappear around a nerby corner, and, as they round that corner, disappearing around the next, repeating for several minutes before they eventually enter an enormous circular chamber with an elaborate design etched upon the floor, though now the design seemed somewhat damaged, some sort of black liquid trickling out of it at points, which... is likely not a good thing. At all. Sitting in the middle of the room was a fuzzy, electric blue creature, which begins to groom itself, small sparks jumping off of its body. A voice issues from it, oddly deep and manly, and without a real source. "Greetings. I would thank you for dealing with the pests infesting the upper levels, but I find myself short of time. Tell me, are you Magi?" It stops licking itself to look over them, one to the next, [>]

  3. 19:16:00 [Indrastra] [>] hovering a moment on Ciel and Kimuri before stopping again. "No, not a Device in sight. More's the pity. And only one of you possibly compatible in any case. Hm. Perhaps one of you happens to be an expert on sealing magic?" It returns to cleaning itself. [E]

  5. 19:28:28 [Avarik] Fortunately, he'd been holding onto the long, slender pillar of stone he uses for a staff before his petrification, and so it is a simple matter to pick it up again. The tall man is a bit stiff, but ambulatory, keeping pace with the rest of them as they round corner after corner after the mote of light. 'I am called Avarik Mountainborn, and by my estimation, you all are heroes, if you would descend into the darkness to keep others from its jaws.' The sight of the dead man does little to change his impassive expression, though he gives Chan space as Chan examines the fallen man. Their entry into the cavern proves to be just as disturbing, with the voice filling the caverns and the dark pooling liquid that casts no light back. Confused by its words, Avarik looks among his new companions, unsure of what to say or do here, and so remains silent.

  7. 19:31:47 Skittles <Cairy, Chan, Kimuri, Keisa>: As Avarik spoke, Ciel would have nodded, the spiky-dark red tips of her mohawk swaying slightly as she did so, "Mhm. Zat would be wonderful---but are you up fur it? Per'apz I should 'elp you out ov 'ere an' 'ave you wait fur uz by ze 'orzes until you 'ave recovured..." explained with concern in her tone. Cairy called over as well and seemed to have overheard the conversation between them at this point. She stated that his help would in-fact be appreciated. Can't really argue with more help, that's for sure. Shortly afterward, Kimuri unleashed another massive quake which effectively torn the remaining flowers to pieces and massively shook the area once more causing Ciel to shield Avarik once again in worry that he might be struck with falling rocks. Chan in the meantime asked if everyone was alright while everyone regained their composure. Ciel responded, "Mhm---are you 'urt, love?" given that he was in the front lines of it all with <c>

  9. 19:31:51 Skittles <c> Kimuri. The Janissary then started over and offered them a hand up. She took it graciously, "Merci beaucoup..." her limb incredibly soft like she hadn't seen a day of hard work in her life, grip feminine. Chan then stated that she made a damn fine hero given that she was protecting Avarik while everyone else had been fighting. The young woman blushed as a result and shook her head accordingly, "Anyone ov you would 'ave done ze same t'ing az Avarik 'as stated----but I do appreci'ate zat." smiling at him. Next, the Janissary introduced everyone to Avarik. He in-turn introduced hismelf as well. "It'z wonderful tu meet you, monsieur Mountainborn." When it was all said and done, the team eventually stared down a flight of stairs that descended into the depths of a cavern. Hm. If Avarik had stayed behind, she likely would have asked him to take care of Pettle---but if either insisted on coming, Pettle would be on her naked shoulder or on top of her head gripping her <c>

  11. 19:31:55 Skittles <c> mohawk for balance. After that, she followed the rest of them down, bringing up the rear. Upon reaching the bottom, they would find Ordanis in some kind of advanced decay---having been mostly eaten by something horrific. Ciel drew back her lips and shifted her gaze to Keisa, "I'm not feeling a soul----Je suis désolé, Keisa." speaking with a soft natural purr hoping that....well...how could you ease the pain of someone who just lost someone important to them, "We can take 'im back tu Kordston an' give 'im a proper burial..." glancing down in sadness as flashes of electricity temporarily brightened the cavern around them. In spite of the horror that had happened, the cavern was intensely beautiful---mezmorizing even. Ciel's plump painted lips had separated in awe. Apparently the cavern also doubled as a sort of runic chamber with an elaborate etching crossing the floor. The purple-eyed minx also noticed some kind of black liquid dripping here and there as <c>

  13. 19:31:59 Skittles <c> well. Ew. That's about the time a fuzzy, electric blue creature called to them, it's voice echoing throughout the cavern and greeted them with thanks for purging the upper levels. He also asked if any of them were Magi. Did she count as one? It studied them now, claiming that no "Devices" were in sight and that only one of them would possibly be compatible. "Compatible fur what, monsieur...?" she purred. Next he asked if any of them were experts on sealing magic. "Iz zat black...liquid ze cauze ov all zis? 'as it corrupted ze chamber or some type ov spell?"

  15. 19:37:16 [Cairy] Cairy is just following the group for now. I'm dealing with some unexpected house stuff. Should be wrapped by next round.

  17. 19:41:15 Keisa Looked at everyone as she saw the blue creature with lightning sparkling around it, she turned briefly pausing looking at Avarik and then to Ciel. She nods to Chan Yang after and indeed looks back to Ciel. "Thank you but we need to worry about this at the moment." She said and her eyes look to Avarik again for some form of conformation and then to Chan as she has never seen such a furry electrical creature before. "Little blue friend, I am unsure about this sealing magic you speak of, I am but a squire, my master is dead and I have no trainer anymore, hopefully however one of my allies can better serve you for this magical barrier." She came closer or well as close as she felt would be at least safe. She had to think for herself now she had to be patient and cautious for her master had taught her many things and well it was time to put them to use. Then all of a sudden she felt a electrical jolt hit her form from something. What was that just now? it came from nowhere, <C>

  19. 19:41:27 [Keisa] and she did not see it come from one of the crystals and therefore could only assume it was from the creature but would not speak about this moment. "Is there anyone that can help this creature?" She was completely oblivious to the fact that the creature said something about a device she wasn't sure what that meant nor did she speak about it, but never the less she was getting the impression something else was in this cavern.(end)

  21. 19:46:10 Kimuri moved to follow after Keisa as she hurried forward into the passage, rushing like usual which was quite dangerous. Her glowing eyes returned to normal and her body relaxed, it helped deal with the flowers, so they could move on. Though Keisa rushing couldn’t be a good idea. She reached the corpses of Ordanis as she bent down and examined it beside Keisa. It was unlikely any of them had enough gold to ask the temple for a resurrection and he was already rotting according to her nose, which forced her to stop breathing and made her fight the urge to shake her head and sneeze repeatedly. She stood and looked back at Avarik. “A hero? I wouldn’t go that far. I have not done any great achievements yet. I am an adventurer, pleasure to meet you.” Well they had a monster to deal with still. So, they had to continue onwards, following the sharp turns deeper and deeper until they reached a circular chamber with a fuzzy blue creature, that proceeded to speak to them. It

  23. 19:46:16 Kimuri seemed this might be the culprit. As Keisa stepped forward she spoke up. “Don’t!” She’d quickly move forward, going to grab Keisa’s shoulder and dig her claws into the fabric to try and drag her back. “You just saw your Master dead, didn’t you? Do you think those flowers could have done it? Look around you, observe be cautious.” She wasn’t going to just trust something just because it was blue and fuzzy and especially since it was in a chamber full of some black ichor. She smiled to try and comfort Keisa. As she turned to the creature. Waiting for its answer to Keisa’s question.

  25. 19:47:45 Chan-Yang nodded at the suggestion of a burial. “Sure enough. This grave is a little too big for him. We'll get the poor sod something better. But first...” he didn't say anything else, but only followed deeper into the cave. As they arrive he took a momentary interest into the creature, but soon found himself distracted by the black goop. While the others were speaking her walked up to it, light on his feet, and dropped into a crouch near a puddle. His pleasantly inebriated face slowly falling to a mask of concentration. As he stood up, he was suddenly moving in a very different way. His balance on the front pads of his feet and his back straight. The staff held at waist level with one hand grasping it hovering in front of each of his hips. Simple but deliberate. Slowly he was gaining a golden glow which, in turn, spread out to everyone else assembled until they all sported shining golden halos. “That thing isn't the danger here." He declared, rather grimly. The slight dullness of his inebriation barely noticeable.
