(6:19:23 PM) Ikiryo: The hospital in question is...decadent seems the best way to describe it. In a city as urban as Sigil, it is surrounded on all sides by carefully maintained parks leading up to the huge white building with the horizon logo right at the top of it. All of the staff are young and very attractive (If likely artificially so in several cases).

(6:33:25 PM) ***Reise arrives by stepping out of a limo she and North had scared up at the last minute. She wears a tight black dress from collar to ankle, complete with jacket; dark blue eyeshadow; has had her hair dyed black and pulled back in a severe bun; and carries a pencil-thin cigarette holder that never really touches her lips.
(6:33:55 PM) Reise: The expression on her pale face is one of haughty disdain, though she at least puts on the ghost of a smile as she glides toward the hospital entrance.
(6:36:12 PM) ***Blueshift_North gets out, and follows, dressed as a driver.  She looks calculatedly neutral.
(6:38:58 PM) ***Reise made North dress in a proper chauffeur's uniform, right down to the cap and the smart-looking jacket with decorate buttons up one side of the front panel; of course, it uses smart materials to close instead, but appearances count for everything.
(6:46:54 PM) Reise: Adelinda is the last out of the limo, in blue next to Reise's black; Reise had prodded the pirate princess into wearing a dress too, tailored to actually demonstrate her curves. She has a jacket like Reise's, but her nervous expression at having her looks out for all to see actually helps the potential-patient look.
(6:48:38 PM) Ikiryo: She protested a fair bit about it...especially since the dress shows off that she's very busty indeed. Still, she's playing the role to her best ability...

(6:58:03 PM) Ikiryo: A nurse who's had enough work done she's got a more plastic look than North soon heads up to meet them. "Hello, how can I help you all?~"
(7:02:32 PM) ***Reise looks down her nose at the nurse. "I require a doctor for the future," she declares, each syllable precisely enunciated and bitten off.
(7:03:18 PM) Ikiryo: "Of course Ma'am, we have all sorts of most excellent specialists. Which sort of doctor would you like?"
(7:04:04 PM) Reise: "A specialist in anti-aging techniques," she returns, "and that is all such as yourself will require."

(7:12:06 PM) Ikiryo: The nurse turns, leading on smartly and with a massive friendly smile. Not a single one of the nurses and doctors they pass is less than stunningly attractive, male or female.

(7:16:00 PM) Ikiryo: They are led past a few empty rooms, the floors the same well maintained wood and all the rooms more like open plan apartments than normal hospital rooms. Honestly, Reise is pretty sure they are bigger than her apartment.

(7:17:55 PM) Reise: [Gods this place is ritzy. I feel almost offended at the amount of wasted money.]
(7:18:30 PM) Ikiryo: "Oh, there was one other thing we wanted to ask about." Adelinda grins at North as she talks to the nurse.
(7:22:32 PM) Ikiryo: ...oddly enough, some of the doors here are a LOT more solid than you'd expect at a hospital this ritzy. Not all of them but some of the closed doors look like cleverly designed bulkhead doors rather than normal indoor doors.
(7:22:51 PM) Ikiryo: The nurse looks back at Adelinda. "Yes, we are here for anything you need!"

(7:28:40 PM) Ikiryo: "Well, I was looking at getting some help for my driver here~" Her grin widens.

(7:33:28 PM) Reise: [FYI they've got a bunch of containment chambers instead of rooms. Airborne contaminants or treatments...or vamps. Distant maybe: something like a werewolf.]
(7:34:44 PM) Ikiryo: "Oh, alright! I can get those while you talk to the doctor!" She stops outside of an office. "Here you go, I'll go get those tablets!" She starts to head off...
(7:34:58 PM) ***Blueshift_North steps inside.
(7:35:35 PM) Reise: "Thahnk you." She makes sure to get the first word just nasally enough to be really irritating.
(7:36:34 PM) Ikiryo: The nurse barely shows any sign of noticing it...though there is a slight twitch in her eye as she heads off.
(7:37:21 PM) ***Blueshift_North searches the room immediately for a network terminal.
(7:37:22 PM) Ikiryo: Inside there is a tall, athletic and very handsome doctor waiting. His black hair flowing over the graceful points of his ears and down to mid back...he looks like he came off a daytime soap opera about the love lives of doctors.
(7:38:09 PM) ***Reise immediately engages the doctor. "You must be the specialist that had been mentioned?"

(7:41:39 PM) Ikiryo: "Of course, how can I help you?" He gestures for them to take a seat...
(7:42:38 PM) Ikiryo: [Why would I? I like you how you are. Why, is there anything you want done?]
(7:43:18 PM) Ikiryo: North is able to find a terminal nearby...one that the doctor won't be looking at while he's distracted by the others.
(7:45:12 PM) Reise: "I require information for a course of anti-aging treatments," she says. "Cost is no object."
(7:45:13 PM) ***Blueshift_North connects and starts looking for payment records.  [I'm fine with how I look!]
(7:46:34 PM) Ikiryo: "Of course, who would this be for? Different people work differently with different treatments."
(7:47:42 PM) Reise: "Myself, of course. I would hope it would be obvious that I should have already specified if it were for someone else."
(7:49:44 PM) Ikiryo: "Of course, I was not sure because of your youthful beauty." He oozes at Reise as North gets access to the system, once you get past the fact it's not wirelesss it's pretty easy to get into the system...
(7:50:28 PM) Reise: [Gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaag] "Of course. But I would vastly prefer to retain my beauty for the length of my life."

(8:09:22 PM) Ikiryo: "Of course, we've got a small implant called a Halo Device. Once implanted, it extends youth indefinetly...though, as you might imagine, the price keeps it only in the hands of the elite."
(8:10:24 PM) Reise: [Dig up what you can on that Halo Device. I don't like the sound of that.]
(8:10:43 PM) Reise: She nods slowly. "And the longer course?"
(8:11:44 PM) ***Blueshift_North also adds in looking for information on the Halo Device.
(8:12:28 PM) Ikiryo: "Leonization. It requires yearly checkups but each one is quite short."
(8:13:48 PM) Reise: Another slow nod. "I shall have to consider my options, then. What is the approximate cost of each? I should assume the latter course may run up substantially more given the longevity."
(8:14:43 PM) Blueshift_North: [Okay we want a list of everyone with a Halo because one Horizon doesn't know how they work, two they decrease empathy to the point where cannibalism is common.]

(8:15:41 PM) Ikiryo: He send Reise the costs...the halo device is WELL outside her price range even with the coin. She could buy and sell North's ship for that price.

(8:17:28 PM) Reise: ["Beautification," right.] Again, it's almost like they can hear the deadpan. [Check what the safeguards are in the event of a power loss. If they lock those doors tight, then Adelinda, you're up.]
(8:19:32 PM) Blueshift_North: [I mean do we really want to let out a bunch of angry arena fighters who are just.  Strong and Angry. And there's not much other than that.]
(8:20:09 PM) Reise: [No. That's why I said we'll fry the place if those isolation doors lock down instead of automatically open when power goes away.]
(8:20:41 PM) Blueshift_North: [I can make the doors do whatever I want.]
(8:21:25 PM) Reise: [Lock 'em and fry it when we have everything.]
(8:22:05 PM) ***Blueshift_North starts playing with the doors and waits for the download to finish.
(8:23:25 PM) Ikiryo: The doctor keeps talking about the wonders of the various treatments, smiling widely...and a few minutes later the download is complete.
(8:23:34 PM) Reise: She reviews the numbers--that's a LOT of zeroes on the Halo Device--for a few moments, obviously mulling them over, then nods to the doctor. "I believe I will begin with the Leonization treatments, perhaps in a week's time? If they do not suffice for my tastes then I shall procure the funding for this...'Halo Device.'"
(8:24:15 PM) Ikiryo: "Of course, we are happy to have you as part of the Horizon family." He nods
(8:24:45 PM) Reise: "Quite." She rises from her seat. "Very good, then, Doctor...?"
(8:26:10 PM) Blueshift_North: [Alright, #gotem.  We can blow this joint whenever.]
(8:26:33 PM) Reise: [On our way out the front door, if possible.]
(8:27:47 PM) Blueshift_North: [Works for me.]
(8:28:18 PM) Ikiryo: "Doctor Haines." He smiles.
(8:29:45 PM) Reise: "Doctor Haines," she repeats. "I should be back in a week's time, then. I will schedule a formal appointment later."
(8:31:27 PM) Ikiryo: "Of course, it was a pleasure to have you miss..."
(8:32:27 PM) Reise: "Industrina Marumanova."
(8:34:08 PM) Ikiryo: "Miss Maramavanoa." He nods. "A nurse will see you out to make an apointment."
(8:37:26 PM) Reise: "I will have my people call your people when it is appropriate," she says instead. "The escort is appreciated, though." She rises, and beckons for the others to follow her out of the office.

(8:37:53 PM) Ikiryo: Adelinda follows, looking awkward [Tell me when to cause havok]
(8:38:24 PM) Reise: [Can you do so on the way out or do you need something else?]
(8:40:45 PM) Ikiryo: [I can do it from basicly anything connected to the system.]
(8:41:46 PM) Blueshift_North: [She's very good at bricking computers.  How many tablets did you go through trying to crack that lock?]
(8:44:28 PM) Reise: [Whatever you need to do on the way out, then. Maybe we'll stop at the nurse's station after all.]
(8:47:02 PM) Blueshift_North: [Works for me.]
(8:48:45 PM) Ikiryo: Adelinda runs her hand along a console as they pass the nurses' station...and half-faints as the lights all drop out around them...
(8:49:54 PM) ***Reise has to keep up her act, letting North catch her girlfriend instead. "Let us be out of here," she says, sounding quite disapproving. "Perhaps I shouldn't trust a facility who cannot even keep the power running."
(8:50:51 PM) ***Blueshift_North catches her.  "You okay?" she asks, quietly.
(8:52:27 PM) Ikiryo: Adelinda's eyes are fuzzy and she's not really making sense as she tries to talk but she doesn't seem hurt, just stunned.
(8:53:37 PM) ***Blueshift_North escorts her out, checking on her as she goes.
(8:53:59 PM) Reise: [Might have overdone it on effort there.] She follows the pair out at her usual pace, waiting imperiously for North to open the limo door for her.
(8:55:23 PM) ***Blueshift_North does so, finding a place for Adelinda, so she can fuss over her.  She doesn't actually need to be in the driver's seat to drive.
(8:56:55 PM) Ikiryo: Adelinda seems semi-consious...on the other hand, the hospital seems to be in utter chaos.
(8:57:52 PM) Reise: "Oh thank the *gods* we're out of there," she says, relaxing as the limo pulls away. "How is she?"
(8:59:05 PM) Blueshift_North: "She's stunned.  I think she's mostly okay.  I hope." She frets.
(8:59:21 PM) Ikiryo: "Arglefmarkle."
(8:59:48 PM) Reise: "Yeah, lay her down on the ship and she'll be okay after a nap, pretty sure."
(9:00:55 PM) ***Blueshift_North lets her lay down and use North's lap as a pillow.
(9:01:19 PM) Ikiryo: "Hosfital was bigger than explected." She mumbles.
(9:02:24 PM) Reise: "I guessed as much. It wouldn't surprise me for them to have twice the space underground, for example. I guess we'll find out when we go through North's data."
(9:02:56 PM) Ikiryo: She shivers. "Sleepy..."
(9:04:41 PM) Blueshift_North: "Go to sleep.  I'll be here when you wake up." She gently strokes Adelinda's hair.

(9:07:27 PM) Reise: "Nothing. Started crunching that data dump yet?"
(9:08:02 PM) Blueshift_North: "Some of it. I'll get started."
(9:08:27 PM) ***Blueshift_North 's eyes start doing the thing where they look like they're loading as she goes to process the information.
(9:08:45 PM) Reise: "Let me know when you think you've got something interesting, then."
(9:18:47 PM) Blueshift_North: "Well I have everyone who used to work here as well as the treatment records."
(9:20:00 PM) Reise: "Anyone interesting, then? Names that sound important?"
(9:20:13 PM) Blueshift_North: "A lot of them moved to that biowarfare hospital."
(9:23:40 PM) Reise: "This is my surprised face." She shakes her head, then reaches up to take the pins out of her hair, shaking it loose from the severe bun. "Hmm...I might keep the black hair until Tana comes back. Anyway, I'm legitimately surprised they have treatment records. Anything special there? Zabotnik pop up in any line items?"

(9:28:35 PM) Blueshift_North: "Just a couple, mostly people who are" She clears her throat.  "Close to important tacticians."
(9:30:36 PM) ***Reise presses her lips into a thin line. "Great. Alright, well...when we have some time back home, we can go over it together, if you want."

(9:33:29 PM) Reise: "Heh. Yes, exactly." She sighs. "Not much about this that's fun, these days. Except the end part."
