  1. Forming a veritable tsunami of liquid metal, The Other attempted to smother Yellow under sheer volume, surrounding her in an enormous mass of steel the size of a building. Yellow didn't so much as blink, allowing the Terminator's body to envelop her with liquid metal crushing in on all sides. The Other formed a perfect sphere around her, distributed to maximize force, and continued to crush inwards until he felt resistance beyond what Yellow was capable of. It began in the center, as the metal directly surrounding her began to resist, to push back. As T's recaptured influence exerted on more and more purged metal, The Other felt his power wane, his grip on the Terminator's body loosening with each thrust of Love Shine A Light's hands through the liquid metal dome.

  3. Before long cracks appeared in the dome, and from the outside it appeared as if the steel had housed an entire miniature sun. The cracks multiplied in a spiderwebbing pattern, growing sharper and brighter as The Other writhed and thrashed, fighting to hold on to its tenuous grip on existence for scant seconds more. By that point, it was too late. The cracks widened until the entire globe glowed like the sun, and in that moment, a pulse of pure cleansing force escaped in a rush of energy, expanding outward as it washed over debris and broken worlds, wiping the entire universe clean of The Other's remnants. There would be no recovery. There would be no signs of The Other left in this universe when it was done.

  5. The Other died, but it was not with a defiant scream of curses, as many would have guessed. The Other died silently, weak and alone, as its last fragile handholds on this reality crumbled and it slipped back through the ether into the timeline from which it had come. It wasn't gone for good, and Love Shine A Light would never be able to purge it from every timeline forever, but the fight was still a resounding success. Yellow had done the impossible. She'd beaten back the greatest threat the Scramble had ever seen.

  7. She'd never felt so empty before in her life.
