Pastebin Monday: Jan 16, 2017

I'm back from AGDQ and ready to start streaming again! One of the amazing things for me is that attending a GDQ always seems to motivate me to stream and speedrun so much. It happened last time at SGDQ, and is definitely happening now. I won't go into too much details about the event, but just know that I had a fantastic time hanging out with everyone for the week. Shen and I may not have had the best luck with our 150 coop attempts, but overall I think the week was a success.

Moving on to life post-AGDQ, there's a few points I want to touch on. I have some pretty ambitious goals (both stream and speedrun related) and I think the biggest key is going to be consistency for both. To start, I want to make sure I have a consistent stream schedule: Monday 6p-10p, Wednesday 6p-10p, Friday 6p-12a, Sunday 12p-6p (all times are EST). The schedule will change occasionally (this week being the first instance), but that is what I want to be the normal schedule for the stream. I also want to start doing a consistent "Pastebin Monday" type of thing to reflect on the prior week and look forward to the next week. I think it'll be fun for you guys to read, and good for me to write to get my ideas out there and keep myself in check. The general theme will be a combination of "what went well last week, what didn't go well, and what are we doing this week". Since this is the first one, we can skip the first two topics and move onto the third:

What are we doing this week?
This week I'll be streaming 4 days: Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. The general theme here is to revisit two games that I have speedrun before and get myself back into them.  Tuesday and Wednesday, I'll be doing Red Glitchless re-learning/attempts. Sunday will be Alpha Sapphire Any% re-learning/attempts. Friday will likely be Alpha Sapphire as well, but it depends on how the Red Glitchless runs have been going; if I'm having a ton of fun with Red, we'll probably do that Friday as well.

Offstream, I have three things that I'll be working on. I want to continue learning NSMB2 Warpless (I'm about 2/3 of the way there). I want to learn the new Catch 'em All route. I want to work on my 124 Glitchless route. All three of those are really important to me, but I don't want to spend my stream time with learning/routing if I don't have to (if you guys WANT to see this, let me know though and I can make some exceptions :]). These three will be longer projects that'll probably last a few weeks, but I want to get it out there that I'll be working on them so people can feel free to bring them up in discussion.

And that's it! Pretty basic week. I just want to get back in the groove and start working on these goals of mine. Hope to see you guys in the stream :)
