- commiserate - "con" = with, "misery" = bad feeling
- commiserate = feel bad together / sympathize
- talking points = the typical points someone often brings up if they have a certain viewpoint
- "This is not my first rodeo" = I've had this experience before.
- "He's talking out of his ass" = he really has no idea what he's talking about, he's just making up things or passing on wrong information
- It goes in one ear and out the other.
