  16. Well, now I have force lightning, of a sort. Could be worse, even if it's largely only meant to incapacitate droids; I've got my own lightning supply if I have to shock a human.

  18. So, the Clone Wars! This is everywhere most would not wish to be, because a few butterflies can disrupt things like crazy considering the war that's coming. Or that is already here, I suppose. At least the Wookies are relatively friendly and were willing to put up with me for a short bit until I got off-world again and into the thick of the action. Mostly by showing up at the Jedi temple on Coruscant and going "hey, I just got unfrozen, did I miss anything interesting in the last four thousand years? ...war? again? guess I woke up for a reason, at least Revan's not around to muck it all up these days."
  19.
  20. "Oh who's that you were talking to? From Tattooine? Why is that forsaken sand pit always the center of attention? You know what, mark me down as a free agent, because it feels to me like the Force wants me to go help out."
  21.
  22. As a result, Qui-Gon Jinn lived and trained a kid they'd found in the desert. I temporarily got the Jedi Council to assign Obi-Wan on missions with me because he seemed to have been cut loose a little early, before he started going on missions with Anakin instead. Things started ramping up around the time that Kenobi was pronounced a Master, and started taking over duties in training Skywalker since Qui-Gon was needed more at the front.
  23.
  24. Things followed the pattern for the most part, overall. Without completely derailing everything on purpose there's only so much that can be done, and the system is indeed broken, otherwise none of this would have happened. I even got to talk to Palpatine in his office and ask him whether he'd heard the tragedy of Darth Plagueis the Wise, before proclaiming my overall neutrality to him. But Anakin didn't fall to the dark side, and neither did Obi-Wan, who was the next most likely suspect. Dooku and Qui-Gon fought each other, repeatedly, over the course of the war, and as far as anyone can figure they both ended up dying on Mustafar. Order 66 was still issued but precognition is a wonderful thing and most of the Jedi were spared - though they had to go to ground. Anakin and Padme faked their deaths with a little help just after Order 66 was enacted, and they're living in exile on Tattooine under assumed names, because of course they're on Tattooine.
  25.
  26. So, with that said... who the hell is Darth Vader, and how is it that he's slaughtering his way through anyone and everyone he encounters?
