7. ~~~~~~~~Application begins here.~~~~~~~~
8.
9. Tell us a bit about yourself:
10. A bit about myself, well to start off easy, I'm a 19 years old, currently attending college in Denmark. I spend my free time with my girlfriend, friends or playing video games.
11. In the past, I've been known as a guy who grinds to become the best of the best. That's the mentality I play with, I play to become the best, and if I'm not the best, I'll grind until I can beat the best. In my old days of this gamemode, I had no problem playing 16-18hours a day, barely sleeping when I was off school. I've had this mentality in my entire time of playing games, whatever game it was, League of Legends, CSGO, Hearthstone, heck even Garry's Mod. This is something that has also reflected on me as an administrator. I will not stop until what I do is perfect, therefore the opinion of others matters to me.
12.
13. Even though many people know me for my troublesome past, and shady activities in the past, you must give me a shot at the "new" me. Over the years since I've played GangWars and other servers where I have been an immature child, but I've matured and grown up. I have moved on with my life, and hopefully so have all of you. The past is the past, we look forward to the future.
14.
15. What do you think is an Admins job:
16. Personally I consider server administrators as trustworthy people that are meant to take good care
17. of the server by protecting them from being abused in any way or form, not only do I think administrators are here to protect and overlook on the servers but also bring a warm and ''cozy'' atmosphere such that the players can feel safe and comfortable while playing the game. My way of seeing the ''effect'' of an admin is that just by an admin being in the server people will break a lot less rules to none because he is a deterant and lets people know that they will be punished, this is simple psychology and is also seen back in peoples daily lives, take as example if a teacher is near in the classroom, or your boss is near you at your work.
18.
19. How do you think you might improve the server's qualities:
20. I observe people, I read people easy. I'd also consider myself quite a trustworthy person, but a big factor for me being fit for administrator, would be my past experience. I worked on a community called GangWarsRP, quite large community with over 10000 registered members on their forums, and with a very large player base of toxic players. On GangWars, I learned what it takes to be an admin, as I've worked the last couple of years as a Full Admin on the servers, and was promoted to Super Admin, which required hard work and dedication to keep things rolling.
21.
22. After I've put thousands of hours into Garry's mod, and a big portion of these hours
23. into gangwars based gamemodes alone I have a wide understanding of what a successful server runs on.
24. I am going to note 3 important points to explain this wide angle that runs a good server.
25.
26. Point 1:
27. Good, dedicated and caring administrators. Administrators are a key to a successful server, when administrators operate properly and "flow" with the direction of the community you can see a great increase in a communities ''comfort'' and their general trust in the server.
28.
29. Point 2:
30. Appreciation and good support towards newer(and eventually younger) players, these players are truly key to the server. They decide if the server will run for a long time and increase the player base to make a server more fun and playable or not, this is why it is incredibly important for a good supporting system of newer players. You can apply this point by making various of starter tutorials, and having a supportive community which can be satisfied by following point 1.
31.
32. Point 3:
33. And last but not least. Security. Security is one of the most important points in this list, it is the main ''tool'' to make players feel safe when they join and play on the server, when the players know that their (private) information is hidden from the public everything gets a lot easier and the players will feel safe at any time.
34.
35. I feel like I can satisfy the first 2 points with a 100% guarantee and can eventually also give a helping hand on improving point 3.
36.
37. Why should we choose you and not another applicant:
38. I feel like these specific traits out of all the others are the main necessities for becoming a good Administrator.
39.
40. Fairness- Without fairness you will be bias towards people that are your friends or you will defend people when they are in the wrong and ban/kick or warn the wrong person
41.
42. Organization- I feel like organisation is very important, because you will make all the wrong decisions, ban the wrong people and in the long run you will become a hated moderator, all because you can't organize who did the wrong and right, accuser and accusee.
43.
44. Efficiency- Meaning that if you can't resolve a report as clean and fast as possible then you will just waste time and eventually both parties will just get bored and nothing will get solved as they will just put the blame on one of them just to get it over with which in turn results in a bad report on your moderation skills because you banned the wrong person.
45.
46. Communication skills- Without good communication you can't reason with people, all that will happen is you will lose your temper and get angry at people, this leads to people getting angry at you and lose track of what the actual report was about and will just turn into a flame war if it doesn't calm down
47.
48. Time management- If you can't manage your time correctly then you will never find time for yourself because you will be distracted with putting your time elsewhere, not to mention that if you find too much time for yourself and not enough for the job at hand then you wont put full attention into the case at hand if it does arise.
49.
50. Always wanting to help people- This applies to new players and older more experienced players, if you are not welcoming or helpful then people will not rely on you to help them later on and instead ask someone else for advice just because you didn't want to help them.
51.
52. The ability to take on-board advice to improve yourself - If you don't take on advice from other people then how will you improve? It just wont work, you wont be learning from your mistakes and that just leads to you making that same mistake over and over again and if that happens too much then eventually people will just resent you and want to get you moved from the team.
53.
54. Honesty- If you are not an honest person then people will just become less and less trustworthy on you and depending on how much you lie, then eventually when you do tell the truth, they might not believe you and if you are not an honest administrator then you just aren't fit for the job because you can't tell the truth to people and expect to be trusted by anyone.
55.
56. Past Admin experience:
57. Servers such as ByB, GangWarsRP, *gaming, just in Garry's mod, I have been administrating on CSS, Minecraft, and I have always thought I did a good job, occasionally making mistakes, but hey, no ones perfect right? I have learned from those mistakes and improved as a player and administrator. I have racked up a solid 9000 Hours of mainly playing these servers, and I have seen and been influenced by administrators from the servers that I've played on.
58.
59. Administrator on GangWarsRP servers.
60. This was definitely one of my biggest tasks, on the Gangwars servers they take administration positions very serious, I started out with being a trial admin in December last year, and stayed trial for 3 months. When I was promoted to full admin, I showed my worth by being an excellent admin and working my ass off behind the scenes as well.
61.
62. Trusted Admin on ByB-Servers
63. A long time ago, while I was playing the GangWars servers, I played a whole lot of DarkRP on the ByB Servers as well, I was an active player, and active on TeamSpeak which ended up with rewarding me with a given admin rank by Pantho himself. After a while with working close with the higher admins, I gained my trust and was quickly promoted to Trusted Admin.
64. I lost my interest for DarkRP, which ended in me resigning from my position.
65.
66. Community Manager of X-ForceGaming.
67. XFG as it is called on a shortened term, was one of the largest BaseWars communities since LmaoLlama. I was lucky enough to get picked up as a Junior Moderator, and while proving my worth and working hard as a moderator, I earned my position as Admin, Superadmin and later all the way to the top, and was made "Community Manager". This basically made me a head admin position, where I worked together with 2 others to run the entire community.
68. The community shut down due to lack of interest by the owner, and lack of updates.
69.
70. Trial Admin Asterisk-Gaming (*gaming)
71. This is probably one of my biggest personal achievements. For those who do not know AsteriskGaming, I am disappointed. They formed the PERP we know today, and their community was huge, I'd definetely call it the biggest perp server that has ever been around. I was lucky enough to be picked up by the Head Admin, Mr.PanteR about 2 weeks before the shutdown. But being a part of the community for a very long time, gave me a good input in how things were done, and how things had to be done, to create a successful community.
72.
73. Community Representative of LmaoLlama.
74. For those who know LmaoLlama, I went under the name "Eksonic" back when it was in its prime, I was part of the group of representatives who ran the community behind the scenes. Even though I was not the most active administrator on the servers, I did loads of work behind the scenes together with LlamaLords to keep things rolling.
