☆| onstage persona: it's extremely hard to believe that haein is the leader of the group based on the way she acts. being part of the maknae line doesn't really help either. she is constantly in her own little world and anything that comes out of her mouth is either off-topic or just plain weird. whenever a joke is told, her face is usually blank due to lack of understanding of the joke or she just wasn't paying attention. she is rather clumsy despite being the main dancer and injures herself quite often. she is very motherly towards the other members, especially the maknae, and is always nagging at them for something. she is very subtle when taking care of them onstage, quickly brushing a lock of hair aside or wiping food from their mouths, and most people don't notice.

☆| offstage persona: although she still retains most aspects of her onstage persona, it is toned down quite a bit. haein is extremely reserved and shy, often avoiding eye contact when she is talking to people who aren't the members. she is actually rather insecure of her quirky personality and knows that it weirds people out or makes them uncomfortable. many people simply dismiss her as an airhead due to her image on stage, but she is the total opposite. she is extremely hardworking and has a strong sense of responsibility. she pushes herself very often and is constantly stressing out due to trying to balance her duties as a leader. she thinks that she isn't really fit to be leader and is scared that the older members will finally see that one day and demand that she be kicked out. she rarely every voices her problems to the other members and tends to bottle all of it up because she doesn't want to be a burden. even though she holds herself back quite a bit offstage, her weird personality comes back when she is with the other members. she says whatever she wants to when it's just them because she knows they won't judge her for it. she is still fiercely protective of them(motherly too) and will go off if someone messes with them, her shyness disappearing.

☆| he acts around you/treats you: in the beginning, seokjin was rather surprised that he was the one being taken care of instead of the other way around. he's not used to being doted on because he is usually the one doing the doting. this is what initially gets him interested in haein. once they became closer, he began to tease her and joke around. he often says that he is prettier than her, which usually results in a playful smack from haein. they enjoy talking about/dissing the members of their respective groups/what they have to put up with at the dorms, although it's all done with love. he is an excellent observer and always notices if haein is stressed or angry. although he doesn't directly mention it, he will subtly try to do things to make her feel better. he wishes that she wasn't so insecure and thinks she's cute.

☆| how you act around him: haein treats him like a little brother, even though she is younger than him. she is constantly looking after him even though he doesn't need it and is actually very protective of him. she loves how he is so gentle and kind, but would never tell him. she finds his confidence in his looks to be extremely obnoxious, but doesn't disagree with it. although she doesn't really care when seokjin says he's prettier because she knows he's only joking, she secretly thinks it's true. she acts rather hostile toward him (albeit as a joke), but he is the first one she would confide in if she ever had a breakdown since she doesn't want to burden her members. she has a slight crush on him, but she just doesn't realize it yet.
