* Maya_1 rode her bike steadily through reno, heading for Regulus. Least some things did not change. She parked the bike a safe distance away, and eyed the security measures. Hitting a com button, or whatever communication she saw on the building, she'd call in from outside. "It's Maya. We delivered Cino. I have shares of the cash to hand out."
<Kylee> <c>"Night Maya," she said over her codec as she rode through the streets. She took her time getting back home, eventually arriving at the Tavern. She rode her bike around back, parking it in place and heading inside.
* NathanHM had his head laid down on the steering wheel in shame for forgetting the money, but then blinks at Maya's transmission. He rushes out "Really?! Thank you thank you thank you!"
<Saturnine> <Nim Soo Sin> Nim Soo was inside the Regulus HQ. More specifically, she was in the gymnasium, doing a series of pull-ups on the steel monkey bars.
* Maya_1 was waiting patiently outside Regulus. SHe gave Nathan a smile. "Not a problem. Health and taking care of people comes first." SHe opened the envelope clearly in front of Nathan, for transparency. "Total share was 2,100. I gave Kylee her share already. Is Addy in there or do I need to look for her elsewhere to pay her?" Addy's membership was unclear to her. Maya had already pocketed

* NathanHM looks back towards the headquarters "She's... She's been through worse. Like, just a few weeks ago, really, that time she got bounced around a minefield. Or the time she fought Ares. She'll make it through this."
<Addy> "I don't care about safe and sneaky any more. I need to get in there and find Maman," she said. "That guy in the wagon knew about her, and where she was, and he wouldn't tell me. I'm going to have to find out for myself."
* Joseph_McGain is in his shop now, his codec out and on the radio. Cigarette between his teeth already and sitting down at the desk. "Doot de doot doot..." he doots.
* Esther-Kalashnikov nods, tail swishing behind her as she smiles back at O'Connor. "Yeah, I was jus'...kinda scared when she was in that 'splosion. ...she's been in lotsa those lately."

* Maya_1 gave Nathan a respectful acknowledging nod at that. She'd been through her share of mission ridiculousness. She scribbed her codec down for Nathan and handed it to him. "I too want to find your mom...I want to help. I like
* Maya_1 her very much." Or she had the few times she'd met her. "But we can't get ourselves killed doing so. We need to gather info first, so we don't get seriously hurt or worse there."
* Joseph_McGain is feeling bored, so mosies on to the Regelus Compound and waits outside. He codecs Nathan. <C>"Hey, Tin Man - Mind if I come in?" <C>
* Addy nodded at Maya, but inside, she knew she wasn't going to wait. If that meant that fewer people came, then that's what it meant.
* NathanHM accepts the codec frequency "Oh! Thank you!" He scribbles a codec frequency on a business card for someone named Robert Gerhardly at RobCo and hands it to Maya. "Here's mine."
* Maya_1 spotted Joe and gave him a grin and a wave when he arrived. "Hi Joe! Got some cash for you." She'd hand his share over to him as soon as she saw him arrive.
* Joseph_McGain isn't in the compound yet, Maya

* Joseph_McGain shakes his head. "Yay! This'll come in handy, actually. Been thinking of getting these - " He indicates his eyes - "Enhanced. I've been half-blind for about fifty years now."
* Maya_1 copied down Nathan's codec, and stored it somewhere safe. She glanced at Addy, eying her curiously, and wondering what she was thinking. Hopefully nothing reckless. She hadn't know Kailin that well...but something told her she wouldn't want Addy heading off to NCR unsafely or without a plan. She gave Joe a smile. "Tech these days is fantastic."
* Esther-Kalashnikov looks down to her supplies, then up at O'Connor. "...wanna have some cake? I was gonna see if Addy wanted ta help me make one, I dunno how."
* John_O`Connor nodded. "Sure, I gota take dis to Syri first." He motions to the water.
* Esther-Kalashnikov nods. "Okay. It's gonna take a while ta make anyway....I think."
* Joseph_McGain shrugs. "Yeah. Anyway. I hope Syriana's going to be okay. She's good people...and I like her more than I like Kylee for now."
* John_O`Connor took the water to the bedroom and checked on Syriana really quick. She was still out cold but still breathing. After a short while he went back up to the kitchen.
* Addy nodded. "I'm gonna go check on Rider," she said with a wave. The little girl with the red hair turned and headed back inside towards wherever Esther had gone.
* Esther-Kalashnikov carefully arranges the stuff on the table, tail swishing behind herself. She offers Addy a slight smile as she sees her. "Hey, Addy...ya wanna help me make a cake? I dunno how, but I betcha mom'd really like some when she wakes up!"
* Maya_1 nodded at the first half of Joe's comment, and let the second half slip by. Kylee and Syri were both good fighters, and strong personalities. Oil and water, she thought. Both good, both necessary, but sometimes hard to mix. She gave Addy a wave and smile. "Take care, Addy!" She said.
<Addy> "Sure," said Addy. "Cakes are pretty easy, as long as you have the ingredients..." Addy would look around for them, then start pulling down bowls. "Here, put one cup of this and two cups of this, and mix them together..."
* John_O`Connor came back to the kitchen and sat down, he didn't know how to back so he just left it to Essy and Addy.
<Maya_1> "I hope she'll be ok too. Nathan, keep me in the loop as to her recovery, please?" She'd ask the man before he went back inside.
<NathanHM> "Sure thing, Maya. She'll probably be up within a few days though, she is strong."
* Esther-Kalashnikov hurries to follow Addy's instructions, tail swishing behind her. "What kinda cake should we make? It oughtta be somethin' real good... ....maybe a Nuka cake? Can we do that, ya think?"
<Joseph_McGain> "Oh, yeah - How is Nim doing?" He calls out to Nathan.
<Joseph_McGain> "Before you go."
* Addy started mixing together some eggs. "Yeah, Nuka-cakes are great," she said, holding off on the milk. "Do you want to make it in the frosting, or the cake itself? Oh, you see that little box over there? Put one spoon in the dry ingredients..."
* Maya_1 paused, curious. She'd met Nim. "What happened to her?" She'd ask politely.
<NathanHM> "Nim Soo's doing better, she's talking. Seems... normal, really, just bigger." Nathan turns to Maya "She feel on a spike with mutagen on it."

* Esther-Kalashnikov grabs the box and carefully gets a spoonful of it to add to the dry ingredients, mixing it in. "Hm....oh! What if we like...make the cake nuka flavor, an' the frostin'...um....I dunno, chocolate maybe? Ya think that'd taste good?"
* John_O`Connor sips his whiskey and gets a small snack from the fridge before sitting down again.
* Maya_1 winces sympathetically at that. "Oof." She said. "Glad you guys have a secure place to rest and heal." She'd give Nathan a parting wave and smile as she prepared to head out. "Seriously, keep me posted, and if there's anything I can do.." She offered.
<Addy> "Hmmm." Addy frowned. "I think fruit would be better than chocolate, with the Nuka-cola. Hey, does Fairy Godmother have any that you can drink? We can't take it from her safe, after all..."
* Esther-Kalashnikov nods. "Jus' the regular ones, but yeah." She looks over to O'Connor. "Hey dad, ya wanna help us? It might be fun!"
<NathanHM> "I will, thank you Maya!"
* Maya_1 gave Joe a wave as well. "Night, Joe. Hope business is going well." She told the ghoul, and then climbed on her bike, and with a nod and parting smile to Nathan, she said "ANy time." and headed home to sleep.
* Addy nodded, putting in half the amount of milk she'd normally have used. "Okay. I'll mix these together, if you get the Nuka-cola... we'll add that last..."
* John_O`Connor shrugged. "If ya need me but I ain't one for cooking like dis."
* Esther-Kalashnikov grins. "Ain't nothin' hard,,,jus' couldja get the Nuka Cola?"
* NathanHM heads back inside Regulus, smiling. He gets out of his power armor and steps into the kitchen. He blinks "You guys makin' something?"
* John_O`Connor went and got some regular Nuka Cola that wasn't part of Syriana's collection and brought it over to Esther.

* Esther-Kalashnikov nods, grinning. "Yeah, like that! See, lookit how happy she is." she says, pointing to the heart that appeared above the fire gecko's head. She blinks as a ball appears on the screen. "OH! She wants ta play!"

<Saturnine> <Nim Soo Sin> Nim Soo took several deep breaths, psyched herself up, then attempted a standing jump into a front flip. Unfortunately, for all her rancor, Nim Soo landed on her back with a solid PAFF atop the floormats, driving the air out of her lungs. "Khuu!!"
* NathanHM approaches, concerned "Are you okay? Do you need help?"
* John_O`Connor does as Esther explains and plays with the gecko.
<Esther-Kalashnikov> <The gecko chases the ball across the screen, more hearts appearing over its head as it does so! At one point it opens its mouth and shoots fire at the ball, which turns black and melts to ash. The gecko stares at this and then looks to the screen, a happy expression on its face and another heart appearing above its head!>
<Saturnine> <Nim Soo Sin> "No! Noooo... Nim Soo know where she go wrong." She struggled to flop over onto her side, then onto her front. From there, she pushed herself up and off the floor onto her elbows and knees, and from there, into a wobbling stand. "You watch! You see! You be... uhh... what word means... 'lots surprise'?"
* NathanHM grins offering "Shocked?"
* John_O`Connor laughs as the gecko burns the ball. "Dats really cool." He lets Esther have her arm with the pipboy back.
* Esther-Kalashnikov giggles and closes the game. "Hehe, ain't it though? Ya oughtta ask him 'bout his, he's got a radscorp one! It's real cool~"
* John_O`Connor nods, he would ask the next time he saw him. "I'm gonna check on Syriana." He gave Esther a gental pat.

* John_O`Connor goes and checks on Syriana. He sat next to her on the bed, she was still passed out.
<Saturnine> <Nim Soo Sin> "Shock. Shock like... fall down, mouth open, eyes wide, no move? Huh. Maybe! You watch! You see!" Nim Soo turned towards the monkey bars and executed a running leap, grabbing onto a steel bar with both hands, dangling a few feet above ground. With a great effort, she was able to pull her upper torso higher, until she could swing a leg up and over the steel bar to assist
<Saturnine> in leverege for climbing. Once she was fully on top of the monkey bars, she turned around and struck a pose, issuing Nathan to back up and give her some space. "Here Nim comes!" The girl jumped off the monkey bars, executing a frontal flip whilst midair. She had plenty of clearance this time! Plenty of room to spin and not end up on her back. A little too much room, as it turned out,
<Saturnine> because what resulted was an overextension of the flipping rotation. Nim Soo hit the floormats on her chest and stomach and face, producing a loud PAFF sound to the accompaniment of her lungs being forcibly evacuated of all air a second time. Her mouth hung open, her eyes wide, her body unmoving.
* NathanHM moves to check on her "Are you okay?"
<Saturnine> <Nim Soo Sin> "...aa..." her voice quietly croaked, wavering in and out of consciousness. "...aaaooow..."
* Esther-Kalashnikov checks the cake with a toothpick, like Addy had told her. It comes out clean, the cake was done! She carefully pulls the cake out of the oven and sets it on the stove so it could cool, beginning to mix up the frosting. It would be a little while before she could frost the cake yet, so there was plenty of time for the frosting to set.
* John_O`Connor heads back to the kitchen and sits down. He took a sip of whiskey. "how's it lookin?"

* Esther-Kalashnikov digs a spoon out of one of the drawers and gets some of the frosting, offering it to O'Connor. "Ya think this'd be good with it?" The frosting was...pink!

* John_O`Connor tastes it. "mmm, it tastes good." He nodded in approval.

<Saturnine> <Nim Soo Sin> It didn't seem broken, though maybe just a little flatter. As it was, Nim Soo's nose was a cross between the conventional human shape, and the breathing-slits observed in Deathclaws. Up until now, it had mostly been slanted in favor of the humanoid.
