[23:03:02] Lotlhuitl swayed her hips as she moved closed to Alberich. Each step set the countless items of jewellery she wore into motion, precious metals and gems catching the light. Subtly jingling.

How was she today? "I am." The Nagual answered. Her tone bordered on being terse, on being curt. But she was not strictly speaking in a bad mood. It was clear she held the green-haired youth with a certain kind of regard, if even that regard was that he seemed promising.

"So, about your scholarship.." Lotlhuitl said, cutting straight to the point. "..are you looking for a teacher?"

He kept hugging his own knee, as he rested the other foot on the floor indeed, tapping it casually and idly against the stone, just as if he enjoyed the sound it was making.

"But since I can't Xitlali anywhere, I'm to assume she's either taking care of the works with the fallen god Xomac," he waved a hand towards the direction of the Atl. "Or simply being, hm? Haha~" with a short chuckle, he placed some of his hair behind his ear again, moving his gaze towards the jewelry nagual. "But what of you, handmaiden? Maybe you could teach me some more about the Spirits."

A rather.. conflicted look. She might have pitied him, because to pity a friend would be a terrible thing indeed. But without pity, there was only her sadness and her anger.

Her lips became a hard line, overhearing Noa telling the sprite to call Dmex 'just Dmex.'

"Call them Great Spirit, Ravan." She corrected, before the runescribe turned back to Alberich. "Very well. I would be happy to educate you on such matters, young Alberich."

Hearing a call for a runescribe, she straightened. "Runescribe? I am such."

He nodded, not helping himself but sporting a wide grin whenever Lot called him 'young'. In his own views he wasn't all that young after all, but the very concept of youth and childhood were sort of distorted and somewhat even alien to Alberich. But that would be a topic yet to be seen.

Naturally, he was overhearing every other conversation at the square, but he was taking the extra step into having his full attention towards the Nagual. As if, in a way, she had the spotlight besides him.

And if there was something Alberich was good at despite sound mischievous, was to actually pay attention to people, whenever he wanted to.

"Hm, I think we can start with the most obvious question I'll have, unless you want to take it somewhere else?" his blinking red pinkish eyes never left the general direction of Lot's. "But, either way~ What, for startes, are the Spirits, handmaiden?"

[23:35:28] Lotlhuitl placed a hand against her stomach. Which, notably, was seeming a lot less taut and thin than her usual. The Nagual was visibly pregnant. And visibly struggling at keeping her emotions in check.

"I shouldn't have said that." She muttered. Gaze leaving Noa. It was the truth though. Noa had never deserved Xitlalli. Her tragically beautiful, talented, frightened friend. By all the spirits in the highest realms. Xitlalli was truly exceptional. And she had to admit, even though the concept bewildered her, possibly a sin of lust. Possibly not, considering that any reasonable pregnant woman might have become frightened for her life and the life of her unborn child when it was revealed that her intimate partner was entertaining plans to slay her.

"So. What's the verdict, judge and jury Noa? Have you given up on her, declared her guilty?" Lotlhuitl was being exceptionally harsh. But she couldn't help it. Even though she knew she was being cruel. The Nagual was rune and terse, but she wasn't a cruel person. This was.. out of character for her, somewhat.

"You.. when you see her, what are you going to do? Kill her?"

Her jewellery-clad hands had curled into fists. And then she remembered poor green-haired Alberich. She looked back to him. "Sorry, I ah.. I'll be with you in a moment.. I."

Her words sent a chill down his spine as though fueled by rage. He needed to say nothing more as her words seemed more like she was attempting to trample over Noa now. The sound of clanking boots raising from the ground drew him closer towards this Nagual as for the first time in what seemed forever rage filled his gaze. His entire presence almost seeming like he was looking down upon this woman as though she was someone utterly beneath him.

"You crossed a line. No, she has not been proven guilty and I will not so much as proclaim her such. You know nothing of this situation or the difficulties surrounding it. Nothing of what I have gone through during all of this, know nothing of how much I care." His words were allowed freedom only with confidence to grace them as a sudden shock of lightning rolled free from his tongue as he continued to speak.

"I will not be looked down upon for this. I trust in her word, though I fully intend to bring her back to Gehenna without needless bloodshed where she can be examined. I will say this, however... If you intend to criticize my decisions?"

There came a pause. Followed only by a wave of his hand.

"You're always free to challenge me. Until then, I won't have you judging my choices when it comes to this delicate situation."

[23:54:14] Lotlhuitl was silent for a moment. Guilt. She had crossed a line. Noa was her friend and she cared about him.

That moment passed. Lotlhuitl then laughed. High and cold and angry.

"I know nothing?" Scorn. Another soft laugh.

"Oh, Noa. You're wrong. I see how it is."

The woman drew herself up to her full height. Looking down at Noa. Scathingly. Her voice was low, and quiet. Dangerous.

"But really. Really. Noa. Do you really want me to do that, Noa? To challenge you? We both know that even though that you are vastly stronger than I, that I will challenge you."

Beat. A snarl.

"How do you think Xoconan will feel, knowing that you've goaded his pregnant wife-to-be into combat? And for what? To prove that you shouldn't be looked down upon?"

Something within her had snapped. The Nagual raised a hand to Noa, attempting to backhand him.

"You have no fucking idea what I know or don't know. Xoconan wouldn't help her. And you? You can say what you like now, but I remember what you said to me the other day."

Anger.

"But fine. So be it! I challenge you, Noa Huitzilopochtli."

It lets out single muffled, clucking sound while in that awkward position.

"Fought a Jink? That explains why he was so satisfied and only complained about food earlier yesterday. How was your fight?~"

Hiding behind others all he needed to do was continue staring at this woman. She who wanted only to prove herself in the eyes of those around her needed only to understand what it meant to hold that power. That shimmer of cosmic energy around his body meant to act as a beacon now seeming to push outwards as these scars upon his chest worked to weave themselves deeper into his flesh from such an activation of power.

"I will not raise my weapon except unto those who strike first. Know, however you will not win in a conflict of strength against me." His proclamation made without hesitation as arms crossed over his chest. Clearly no intent to back down in the slightest against this woman who had otherwise only shown just how cowardly she could truly be in times such as these. Audibly clicking his tongue against the roof of his mouth he stood, waiting.

"So, what will it be? Will you fight an unwinnable fight? Or, will you back down and leave this situation to those who truly understand it?"

Not physically, as it still wasn't moving, merely looking at Katzan with its eyeless gaze; mentally, however, it felt like tendrils seeping into their minds, spreading through their consciousness like a twisted plague.

It made the Hive's nature a lot clearer, as they could feel the pulse of occultism reaching over like a heartbeat, constantly being exhaled from his being. The low, soft buzzing of a thousand wasps could be heard in the background as the Hive spoke, directly into their minds, with a deep voice that echoed, as if it was trapped somewhere.

Her friend.

The Nagual had stepped off the cliff face, leaping off the precipice. And with a flash of lightning, landing a few steps away from her friend. Close enough to probably startle, but enough distance to hopefully indicate a non-hostile intent.

She didn't know what to say.

"Oh, Xitlalli."

The Nagual woman, visibly pregnant and displaying a level of bare skin which was scandalous even for Gehennan standards, attempted to step towards her friend. Her aim initially was to embrace her, though, truthfully the Nagual changed her mind midway to just give her a sideways hug.

"I'm so glad you're safe. I've.. I've been trying so hard to just fix things. Everyone has gone mad."

[07:28:12] Everyone did go mad, why?

Fear, most likely. The fear of what might or might not happen yet as a result, the Spirit Dancer had to retreat! Had to go elsewhere due to her own personal fear of being betrayed by her own nation, by the rest of Gehenna; there was no guarantee of safety within Cruxati and she knew specific individuals were after her.

Couple that with the fact she was unsure where Noa's own loyalties lay due to an increasing influx of paranoid thoughts thanks to her corrupted soul due to Sin Magic and you had one anxious and irate woman who as of right now was likely to fall to her vices more often than not.

"Lotlhuitl?", pregnant herself as well, the Enchantress was slightly startled! Taken back by a mere inch as she recovered through the brief contact made there. Her own skin rippling with tiny green sparks which jumped from her mocha shade to Lotlhuitl's more lighter tanned shaded flesh.

By then the air might feel less oppressively humid and more 'pleasant' and 'warmth' inducing.

"I'm unsure what has gone on. I've heard rumours. Hatsune informed me Atl was hunting me... I'm... Very confused.", her voice took on a rich tone right then and there, trying to pluck at Lotlhuitl's very heart strings in unintentionally seductive manner; her gaze turning lidded and hungry for a moment.

That is until she cleared her throat.

"What has happened?", she asks, breaking out of her vice for a moment; there were more pressing matters at hand, yet even then what she embodied was slowly but surely leaking out and affecting those around her, ever so lightly.

[07:35:53] The Nagual woman's breath had caught as she felt Xitlalli against her. Oh, by the Spirits. Lotlhuitl felt confused. She felt such affection for Xitlalli. She wanted to reach out and brush her fingertips against her dancer friend's jaw.

Obviously, she resisted. Such things would not be proper.

What had happened.

Lotlhuitl's face fell.

"I.. well. It sounds like a Black Market contract was taken out on you by someone in Atl." Lotlhuitl stammered. "I only learnt that the Black Market was a thing the other day.

She smiled.

"But I've a solution. I've met the man who runs the Black Market and we have a deal."

[07:35:53] Lotlhuitl says, "And he's already told Somnus that if he attacks you, that he'll be a dead man."
[07:42:43] In that case, Lotlhuitl had done well, if what she says is true. For a change, a smile forced it's way onto Xitlalli's face and with it that hungering gaze of hers once more lingered onto Lotlhuitl; they were a good best friend but also a good tool of hers.

"My-my.", she utters out, her voice breathy and gasping out each word, "I think I'm impress, Lottie.", she adds on, clasping her hands together behind her back as she leant against the wall there.

"Who owns the Black Market and...? Atl putting a contract on me? How strange. I wonder who might have done such a thing."

Nonetheless, it left Xitlalli curious; if this was the reason why then surely Xitlalli had made enemies unintentionally within Atl --when and where and how was not within her grasp of knowledge and even then it was inconsequential now, what happened to matter was the results of all this 'drama'.

"A deal? What is this... Deal?"

Was the deal already performed or was there more to it? That is what Xitlalli's voice reeked of.

"Mmm. Mm. Well?"

[08:00:38] Lotlhuitl smiled as Xitlalli did. Finally, someone happy with her! A subtle shiver ran down her spine at being called Lottie -- that was what Choi called her.

Who owned the Black Market? "Choi Tae-Moon." Lotlhuitl answered. "He lives in the Demon City. Holds the its purse-strings."

As for who? Lotlhuitl's eyes widened and she shook her head. "I.. I'm not sure. I.. Choi might have told me but.. a lot of things happened."

Lotlhuitl looked uncomfortable at that, her gaze breaking away from

"The deal is.. I obtain Zahhual's bracers for him and give them to him."

That hadn't exactly been the full deal. Lotlhuitl was obviously omitting something.

"Which is made considerably harder now that I am exiled from Ezmara after Noa betrayed me. But.. but I'm sure I can get them. I'm.. almost certain Xoconan still has them, and he surely wouldn't deny me a chance to look at them.."

[08:06:36] Choi Tae-Moon... Now that was a familiar name but how did he know about Zahhual's bracers?! And more importantly what was Lotlhuitl's run-in regarding Ezmara and Noa? This sounded like a rather deep rabbit hole, but one that Xitlalli was willing to investigate through questions for the time being.

"Ah, him. I see.", she mutters, tapping her foot on the ground a few times.

"Didn't know that, but it'd make sense."

Choi Tae-Moon wasn't a man she could really trust but then again those within Gehenna were willing to throw her out to the wolves so suddenly which meant she had very little choice in the matter, in the end but to go with the hand she had been dealt!

"How does he know about those bracers and more importantly why the hell does Xoconan have them? That piece of SHIT did nothing for Zahhual, he simply took what he can from her. He's disgusting."

A flare of anger there, Xitlalli growing restless; she hated Xoconan for all that he had done more importantly, what she had heard of him recently, of what he had decided to do and say.

"I don't trust him, hell, I've been informed he had been willing to work against me and turn Noa against me."

Which unfortunately may or may not have happened already; she wasn't sure.

"And how did Noa betray you? What happened there? I... I... Grow weary of Gehenna, it's became a pit of snakes."

[08:29:39] Lotlhuitl was quiet as Xitlalli mused, as she tapped her feet. The Nagual seemed distinctly meeker than usual, seeming to be entirely inclined towards deferring to her dear dancer friend.

The woman's green eyes focused on Xitlalli. She felt.. glad to be around the woman again. It was good to be with a friend. A dear friend, such a good friend.

"Choi knows about them because I offered them to him to protect you." Lotlhuitl murmured, her tone apologetic. "I.. I know how important Zahhual was to you, Xitlalli."

The woman hesitated before gathering her will, and on impulse she reached for Xitlalli's hand. At her comments about Xoconan, her eyes had widened. She.. she still loved Xoconan. Wanted him to love her.

"Is.. is he really so terrible?" She asked, her voice small. "I.. I tried to get him to help you. But he refused. He.. He kept saying that you attacked Somnus' lover. That he'd do the same if you attacked me."

Lotlhuitl blinked, biting her bottom lip.

"He wouldn't help. Noa wouldnt help. So I went to Choi."

A slight shudder, though.. she'd be lying if she tried to say that she disliked the man entirely. Man. That was a complicated series of events.

As for the bracers?

"I.. I'm mostly sure Xoco still has them from.. well. You know." Lotlhuitl murmured. "Karma gave them to him. I was there when it happened. I.. I intend on asking for him to let me study them. And.. and then, if I can.. I'll take them to Choi."

Lotlhuitl bit her bottom lip.

"I.. was harsh with Noa about his treatment of you. He.. he told me that I was weak and a coward, and refused to listen to me unless I duelled him. And then, he was surprised when I challenged him. He.. goaded me into attacking him, and then he refused to fight me."

A thrill of pleasure ran through herand the Nagual failed to look quite as demure as she intended when she idly remarked, "I made his blood rot to teach him a lesson. And he still wouldn't listen to me! And yet, it was I who was deemed to be in error and Karma exiled me.. with Noa likely glad about the whole situation."

[08:39:53] "Right."

The Spirit Dancer glared at Lotlhuitl for a moment, as her lips parted, an exasperated sigh escaping her mouth as her hand was clutched by her dear friend. It would be by then, said hand glowered with a sweet and sickly green hue! Her digits clasping down and around only to tug the Nagual in to her.

A compulsion to listen and obey most likely fogged up in Lotlhuitl's mind there and Xitlalli's own presence pressed down upon the woman; the mark on her neck beginning to painfully hurt once more, although this time glowing the same green that poured out of Xitlalli.

"I want you to get those bracers for me. Lover.", she hissed out, the final word coming out a bit too strongly as she leaned back, tugging and pulling Lotlhuitl closer to her as she stepped back.

"It's quite clear Xoconan does not care for you, as I do for you, Lottie. I think you'd be better off using him like the son of a whore that he is. Lie to him, Lotlhuitl, use him since that's what he is; meat to be used."

In all honesty, Xitlalli HATED Xoconan due to what he had done regarding her teacher that he assisted in the woman's death and had contributed and done nothing for them and yet took what he could from the woman; it was disrespectful, disgraceful.

"He would not do the same for you. If he refuses to help you to help me? It means he's willing to betray you, just as he's willing to turn people against me. Look at me, Lotlhuitl."

With that said, the eyes which Xitlalli possessed no longer were a light cheery blue, but a stormy swirl of jaded hues as she channelled her sinful nature into the Nagual she chose to possess as her own instrument.

"You did good, so for tonight, I will make you feel divine Lottie. Come along now, into the house it's time for your next lesson and another mark of my appreciation."

If Lotlhuitl didn't resist, that once familiar sensation would wash over her person, warmth and a comforting pleasure along with a burning desire rising up within her heart; all she had to do was accept and follow Xitlalli's lead.

[08:45:52] Longing filled the Nagual's eyes. Her breath hitching, Xitlalli's words becoming almost entirely her world.

"Oh, Xitlalli. My love.Lotlhuitl murmured, wrapping her arms around the shorter woman. Her motions were languid, dreamy. A certain euphoria rising within her.

"You're.. you're right."

Lotlhuitl didn't resist. She wanted Xitlalli. Fuck. She wanted to be her. So smart, so beautiful, so strong. Strong, and at the same time, vulnerable. It felt good to be needed. A certain kind of power in being the one who held the cards.

[09:13:10] Grinning for a moment, Xitlalli would gesture for Lotlhuitl to come closer as she lounged within the dancers' homestead; a structure made by Zahhual. Assumedly the woman was strewn upon the bed, almost naked after all she wished to entice her own sin within Lotlhuitl.

"Come, come, join me, Lottie."

After all, if she could help push her to the same point? Then surely that'd be the making of another valuable ally; Oyaotl had taught her as such.

[09:22:33] Lotlhuitl swallowed. Her green eyes wide as she stood, frozen, in the doorway.

Xitlalli.

The Nagual's tail bristled ever so slightly, her breath catching in her throat. The woman was so beautiful. So lovely. So kind. She was extraordinary. Lotlhuitl felt mediocre by comparison.

"I.. I wish I was just like you, Xitlalli." Lotlhuitl breathed, unclasping her cloak and taking her boots off.

She joined her dancer friend in bed. Crawled towards her, leaning in to attempt to place a kiss against Xitlalli's lips.

[09:31:05] Lots of people wished to be like her, after all she was desirable, an embodiment of lust; such a thing was sinful but Xitlalli she was beginning to understand, beginning to learn as to what power she held and what her role would to be in due time.

Whether or not that meant pushing aside her ideals and going rogue against Gehenna? Only time would tell.

"Oh, of course you do, my mediocre little friend.", a harsh insult slipped out of Xitlalli's lips before she pressed them against Lotlhuitl, only to begin grasping and groping, getting her fair share of passion and physical contact of the woman. Least as much as she could; she felt greedy in that regard.

"But unlike me, you're an outrageous slut, begging for greatness, begging to be something more than yourself. It's cute. Really cute."

Abusive; that was what Xitlalli was with her words, which was stark contrast to HOW she was holding Lotlhuitl, how she was treating them physically, as to what her intent was towards her best friend.

Lotlhuitl had physically stiffened in Xitlalli's arms, though she did not dare to pull away.

Mediocre?!

Somehow, that was the word that stung the most. Not being called an outrageous slut. Not being called cute.

Lotlhuitl's green eyes flared, along with the runes that Xitlalli had gifted her. By all the spirits of the Tenochitan in the highest realms! Her anger flared. Helpless. Impotent. She adored Xitlalli. She wanted her. Needed her.

"I.." She shuddered, before kissing the with helpless passion and furious intensity. Her love was groping her. Touching her. How strange that she had once thought that only Xoconan would touch her? So much had changed. She had changed: Lotlhuitl felt that she had shed the scales from her eyes. She saw the world as it truly was, now. One where the weak were preyed on by the strong. One in which declarations of love could mean nothing.

Their kiss broke. Lotlhuitl, blushing furiously, leant her forehead against Xitlalli's, attempting to stare into her eyes.

"Someday, Xitlalli. Someday, I'll change into someone even you will be envious of. I swear this to you."

[09:49:52] Xitlalli could see it budding within her, that anger that she was once famous for; Lotlhuitl was becoming more and more like that of an open book but that was fine, it'd mean that the Spirit Dancer would be able to read her and then make adjustments where she saw fit.

Just as Oyaotl had molded her as she saw fit, so would Xitlalli to her best friend! After all, she had already put on a few changes, a couple more wouldn't hurt.

"By the Spirits.", she uttered with a sly grin, continuing to touch, continuing to so easily grope what was now hers in her mind; such a thing satisfied Xitlalli for a moment, until she once more knew that like it or not, she couldn't truly ever be sated.

She'd have to have more, she'd need to chase so much more and her desires would know no bounds.

"You may try, I truly do desire to see you try."

A hand slipped down there, to elsewhere more intimate, as she grinned.

"But you and I both know, regardless that you'll want me. I can see it in your eyes, Lottie. And to think it only started off with me booping your nose."
