 <h3>The Celt</h3>

There once was <b>peace</b>. There once was <em>tranquility</em>, comradery. All of that changed the day the <big>Romans</big> came. What ensued was a fight for survival, a need to protect their people and yet it came to a crux.<br> The <a>Chieftan</a>, his father was taken down and <strong>slaughtered</strong> before Kalix as he fought alongside. Bloodied and fatigued, the battle was no match for a single man and Kalix had to bow down. <br>Surrounded by Roman soldiers, he was forced to his knees, amidst the gore of his fellow clansmen, the mud and watched as the last of his men were cut down, some never to draw breath again. The women were corralled, children seperated from their mothers and his own sister among them. Frightened, terrified; she, along with all the other women were ushered into a tent. Kalix didn't see what went on but his ears were keen enough to know what took place. <br>A glimpse in the morning light of a bruised figure being led to a wagon was the last he saw of his fourteen year old sister. From there, he too was loaded into another wagon and spent weeks upon a bumpy trail. <br>He did not know the land he was taken to but he was subjected to the worst treatment he had ever experienced. Poked, prodded, beaten until he was black and blue before being sold off to a cunning weasel of a man. <br>Over a few months, he was pushed into training, honing his already strong combat skills. He heard talk among other slaves of an arena. One stained with the blood of their fallen friends, rivals. A place he had yet to set foot upon. Was that now his life? His fate? To fall among so many or would he reign <b>victorious...</b>
