  8. No no no, we really appreciate ALL the input. I do plan on making an email for the company and definitely social media for it. If this goes well we absolutely plan on making a version for IOS. I'm going to have Anthony email you a bit later with more details being he is the one who created the app and again, all input is appreciated very much! I'm glad i came into contact with you, you have pointed out several things that I agree need change! I will send up an email for us tonight and I will have him email you from there. Also we are more than happy to give a demo of the app but I think the video demonic also a good idea. Talk to you soon!

  11. Excellent! I see the update already! I think this is a great idea and could potentially be a big hit. I know programming for IOS apps is quite complicated but I would suggest that be a priority. Is the app free? I don't have an android device so I can't try it out but I definitely want to learn more about this app and its functionality. I have to step into a meeting after which I have an appointment so I won't be back to my desk today but I would appreciate any info you could provide. I would definitely also recommend recording a video of the app while in use and either use voiceover or text on the screen to explain how it works, which you could upload to the Google Play Store - and maybe even to YouTube to begin promoting it. Oh, one other friendly tip, your Gmail avatar looks to be a photo of you in a car, holding a Starbucks cup on the drivers side - if you're trying to promote driver safety, I would maybe change that. You actually might also want to create a new email account for reaching out to districts or corporations, something like DriveSafe@gmail or JustDrive@ something like that and then make sure everything (email, potential website, YouTube account, social media accounts) uses the same name - that's your brand, you want to make it as identifiable as possible. I'm really not trying to be obnoxious or tell you what to do, but my background is in marketing and I think you have an excellent idea that I would like to see succeed. Please don't feel offended and please don't feel obligated to take my suggestions.
  12. One last suggestion, your first email referenced Anthony as your boyfriend - you later changed it to partner, which is good. Only use partner.

  15. I spoke with my partner and we have changed the name to Safe-Tech. As I said earlier we are still making small changes and this is our first big project so we are looking for all of the input we can get so we really appreciate you pointing that out to us! That would have been something we would have never thought of.

  18. Hello, I spoke with our Supervisor of Athletics, who is in charge of drivers ed, to ask if this might be something he would like to pursue, and he thought the idea sounded promising. BUT he shared my concerns with your company name. Again, it's subversive and clever but we could not promote this to teenagers or their parents. It might seem like an insignificant issue but some school districts have faced backlash for less. Maybe keep the name for other projects but create a new account name for more a sensitive audience.

  21. Thank you for your input, I will bring that up to my partner! As of now it's for android only. Anthony solely works with Linux, Android uses linux. If this takes off the plan is to make a version for IOS.

  34. To Whom it may concern,
  35. My name is Rachel and my boyfriend, Anthony, is a software engineer. Just recently Anthony designed and coded a texting and driving app called JustDriveApp. JustDriveApp is very different from any other texting and driving prevention app on the market. The app that Anthony has created not only blocks incoming text messages but, it completely locks the phone when the car is in motion, with the exception of making an emergency 911 call. Our goal is to target parents of young and new drivers to install this FREE app on the teen drivers phone, in hopes that it will prevent a good amount of daily accidents due to phone activity while driving. It seems that people don't truly understand the severity of texting and driving so, our mission is to inform people as best as we can and try to put an end to it. If you would be so kind in hosting some of our information and helping us promote safe driving with JustDriveApp, you will be helping parents with new drivers, teen drivers, inexperienced drivers and, innocent drivers on the road who fall victim of texting and driving accidents. We will supply free demos of how the app works along with a brochure with information about our app as well as some texting and driving facts and statistics. Below is a link to the app if you wish to take a look and we thank you very much in advance!
  36.                                             Sincerely,
  37.                                                Rachel & Anthony
