Tsaaq: ((Let's boogie.))
Tsaaq: Hayley jogged down the stairs of the house and went towards the door. She looked down at her house slippers and shrugged, stepping outside onto the porch. She looked around the path in front of the house then pulled out her pack of cigarettes.
Alexithymiaa: -Adam was up in his room on his couch bed, Lady lying beside him all comfy on the blanket. He leaned back into the cushions with his textbook open and propped up in his lap, his eyes following the lines on the page as he read. // Jade stirred in the kitchen as she put on a pot of coffee, pulling down a mug for herself and setting it down on the counter. She turned to look at the front door when she heard Hayley go outside, pausing for a moment before reaching over to grab the container of sugar, carefully spooning some into her mug.-
Tsaaq: She went to inhale her cigarette, hopping off each step of the porch and looked up at the windows of the second story. She exhaled the smoke and jogged along the side of the house until she was at Adam's window. She whistled loudly and hopped up and down. "Abs." She called out with her hands around her mouth.
Alexithymiaa: -Hearing the whistling and the sounds of Hayley's voice, he stuck his finger in the pages of his textbook and shifted to turn and look behind him out the window, seeing her down on the ground below. Furrowing his brows, he set his book aside and pulled the window open. "What are you doing out there?" // As she waited for the coffee to brew, she heard Hayley's voice outside, moving slowly to the back of the kitchen to listen to the two of them.-
Tsaaq: "Smoking... Well it's more of an excuse to be out here I guess." She answered before she took another pull. "I can't stay inside!" She whined. "I wanna ride bikes! Wait, no. You wanna race?" She asked him, staring up at his window. "Let's take Lady for a walk?" Hayley suggested.
Alexithymiaa: -He winced and looked down the street at snow and winter and stuff. "But... it's cold. I haven't spent all that much time outside. Aren't you cold?" // Jade walked to the kitchen booth table thing, sliding in with her back to the window to listen.-
Tsaaq: She tapped the ash from the end of her cigarette, making a pouty face. "Sooooo?" Hayley asked. "You can use your breath to pretend you're smoking too." She laughed. "I mean... My hand is cold but I got a coat on!" She told Adam then lowered her head a moment. Seeing Jade in the booth and furrowing her eyebrows. She directed her gaze back to Adam's window.
Alexithymiaa: -He sighed, leaning back on his legs to consider his options before calling down to her. "Okay, I'll be right down. But we're not staying outside very long!" He pushed the window closed and slid off his couch bed, snapping his fingers for Lady to follow him as he jumped into his shoes and jogged down the stairs. Sending a wave to Jade in the kitchen, he inhaled because delicious coffee smells in the house, pulling his coat off the front hook to slide his arms into the sleeves. "Save me some coffee when I come back in?" He smiled to her and walked through the kitchen to the back door, letting Lady run outside and moving outside after her, closing the door behind him and pushing his hands down into his pockets. "Maybe you should... quit smoking." // Jade nodded a little nervously because she thought he was going to say some shit about her eavesdropping.-
Tsaaq: "Yay!" She said, jumping up and down. She waited for Adam to come downstairs, watching him move through the kitchen. She tossed the butt once Lady was there and crouched down to give her pets. She looked up at Adam and furrowed her eyebrows at him. "Everybody in my family smokes." Hayley said, since she couldn't think of much of a reply. She rose to her feet and went to lean against him.
Alexithymiaa: "So what? That doesn't mean you need to smoke too. Smoking is really bad for your health and you really don't benefit from it at all. It's even costly." He spoke, shifting on his feet as he walked down the ramp to follow them.-
Tsaaq: Hayley pouted as she looked at him. "I don't know... I mean, yeah. You don't think I look sort of cool when I do it? I haven't smoked since I was admitted." She shrugged her shoulders. "Shit, my meds." Hayley sighed. "I can take them when I get inside." She muttered to herself.
Alexithymiaa: "Honestly?" He paused, his face a little pained before the words came out of his mouth. "Not really. I don't like smoking and I don't think anyone looks cool when they smoke...."-
Tsaaq: "So like... All those times I smoked you didn't like it? Why didn't you say anything before?" Hayley said, kicking at the floor a little. "I don't know... It looks a little cool." She whispered, biting her lip then shrugging. "Well... I mean, I didn't smoke that whole time before I guess I can just stop." She shrugged.
Alexithymiaa: "Because it's your choice and I'm not going to force my views on you. That's not fair." He shrugged, kicking the shoe of his shoe at some snow. "It's up to you what you want to do."-
Tsaaq: Hayley shrugged her shoulders. "No, I guess it is stupid..." She trailed off. "Who cares about looking cool when you could die or whatever?" She said. "Does it make you like, not want to kiss me?" Hayley asked.
Alexithymiaa: "But it doesnt look cool...." He mumbled under his breath, not wanting to really go in a circle with her on this. He turned to watch Lady dart across the yard to play in the snow, a small smile on his face because she was cute. "Well I dont exactly like it, but it's not going to stop me."-
Tsaaq: She nodded her head slowly as she crossed her arms over her chest. "Okay. Then I just won't do it anymore." Hayley said before she went to go run after Lady.
Alexithymiaa: "Just like that?" He called after her, keeping his eyes on the two frolicking snowflakes.-
Tsaaq: She stopped as she looked back at him and shrugged her shoulders. "Yeah." Hayley answered. "Like I said, it's not like I needed it or anything." She said, trying to herd the dog back in Adam's direction but she was doing her own thing. She jogged back over to him. "And you're right. It'll make me sick."
Alexithymiaa: "I know I'm right. Science says so for a long, long time." He let out a gentle, playful laugh. "I know a lot of people, when they quit, started chewing gum, or eating hard candies. Things like that.'-
Tsaaq: "I probably don't even have to do any of that stuff. I didn't smoke for so long in the hospital." Hayley said with a shrug. "But I was more of a casual smoker anyways... So I never really needed it. Everybody in my family probably wuld have a problem quitting though."
Alexithymiaa: "It's just what I've heard. I've never smoked before so I don't know what it would be like to quit." He shrugged, pulling his hand out of his pocket to snap his fingers for Lady. She turned and darted back over toward them, shaking the snow off her fur.-
Tsaaq: Hayley pursed her lips as she shivered a little. "I don't know. I'm not that worried." She said as she made her way to the ramp since she was actually cold now.
Alexithymiaa: -He turned to follow her up the ramp with the dog at his heels, pulling the door open so she could step inside ahead of him, letting Lady run inside as well. "That's good, though." // Jade turned when they started coming in from outside, getting up from the table and going over to the coffee pot to pour Adam a mug, holding it out to him. "I saved you some, like you asked."-
Tsaaq: "Is it?" She asked Adam with a smile. "Oh, is there any coffee left for me?" Hayley asked as she looked between Adam and Jade, reaching her hand in her pocket trying to find her prescription bottole.
Alexithymiaa: -Adam took the mug from Jade with a nod, bringing it up to his lips to take a sip. "Thanks. This is perfect after being outside." He turned to look at Hayley, holding it out to her. "We can share." // Jade shifted a little uncomfortably because she didnt save Hayley any, jerking her shoulder. "Well..." When Adam offered to share his, she took a step back, staying silent.-
Tsaaq: She looked over to Jade until she turned to Adam. "Aw, thank you Abs." She took the mug and took a sip before she tried to subtely take out one of her pills. She tossed it into her mouth before she took another drink from his mug then handed it back to him.
Alexithymiaa: -He smiled and took the mug, bringing it back up to his lips for another warm sip. "You're welcome. And thank you Jade, for saving me some." // Jade nodded and slinked back again, taking her seat down at the kitchen table and dropping her eyes to the open copy of Rat Queens.-
Tsaaq: She went back over to Adam, giving him a playful hug. "Soon I'm gonna be ready for bed." Hayley gritted her teeth a moment and went to pull her curly hair into a ponytail then went to take off her coat. She rubbed her hands together and held her hands out for the mug again. "One more sip?" She asked.
Alexithymiaa: -He held the mug out toward her so she could take some, his eyes glancing to the graphic novel Jade had and back to Hayley. "Do you want me to tuck you in?"-
Tsaaq: Hayley took another sip and tilted her head at him. "You're not going to bed too?" She asked him with a disappointed look.
Alexithymiaa: "I need to do a bit more reading, but mostly I think it's important for you to be in your own bed for a little while. Just for now."-
Tsaaq: "What?" Hayley asked with a frown. "Okay I guess..." She muttered in reluctant acceptance as she lowered her head, giving him his mug. "I guess I'm going to bed then." She sighed.
Alexithymiaa: -He took the mug back, giving her a gentle pat on the back. "I'll tuck you in. C'mon." He sent Jade a wave, putting his hand on the small of Hayley's back to nudge her toward the stairs.-
Tsaaq: Hayley looked back at Jade and waved as well before she went to the stairs. "But... I miss cuddling." Hayley said with a pout as she reached the top of the stairs and waited for him as she went towards her bedroom.
Alexithymiaa: "I know. But I just think it's important for you to be used to sleeping in  your bed for now. I don't want you to not be able to sleep if I'm not around or something. Just give it a little time." He followed her toward her bedroom, stepping out of Hera's way because HERE SHE COMES MOVE, BITCH. It's a cat thing.-
Tsaaq: She made some whining noises as she took off her pants so she was down to her underwear and her shirt. Hayley sighed, going to pick up Hera and petting her before she sat her on the bed. She yawned as she went to sit on the edge of the bed. "I guess... But I missed sleeping with you so I guess I'm just bummed out..." She trailed off.
Alexithymiaa: "Soon, Halo. I promise." He turned his back when she took her pants off, not used to her bare skin all over again. "C'mon, get under the blankets." He moved over toward the bed while keeping his eyes on her face and only her face, pulling the blankets back for her.-
Tsaaq: "Okay, you promised. I'm gonna remember." Hayley nodded as she drowsily got under the covers. "Okay..." She muttered in defeat, holding her arms out to him. "Goodnight Abs." She slurred, going to hug him and give him a kiss, basically ruining him actually tucking her in.
Alexithymiaa: -He leaned down to hug her and give her a little squeeze before standing back up, pushing the blankets around her. "Goodnight Halo. I'll see you in the morning." He turned and walked out of her bedroom, turning the light off as he went and headed back into his bedroom where Lady was already waiting on his couch bed because she knew the routine lately.
