- As I did so I sent out a command to all one hundred seventy two thousand-odd of my insects and moved them as far away from the others near me as I could. I winced mentally as I did it - it would take me a while to build back up the populations of some of my rarer specimens - but in the event that I lost control, I didn't want to be able to use an army of bugs for cover.
