HSC EX-Worker Told Absout Shelter Closure Last November

Speaking of 'keeping secrets from the public'... A little birdie who used to work at the Homeless Service Center told me yesterday that when he went on Sabbatical last November he was told about the cut and not to expect the shelter to exist anymore.

I suspect the HSC simply decided to go out of business and didn't file the grant paperwork intentionally. He also mentioned that the Seaside shelter just received a large federal grant for a sleeping facility
