[ + ] yumi was raised with very conservative parents and rules that centred around obedience and discipline to form who she is to this day. also raised in a calm and quiet environment with the given responsibility of taking care of her younger brother at the tender age of 4 when her father was based to korea due to business purposes. her mother was a workaholic as well, leaving her very independent growing up. at the age of 10, she too continued her life and studies in korea. the transition was difficult but soon learned to cope and strived as she did.

her brother grew up in yumiho’s previous school and grew up without her older sister tending to his needs. they get around with communication with texting or video calling but rarely happens since everything is a hassle to tackle. yumiho is dedicated to her studies and has created a sense of responsibility due to the heavy influence her parents has set on her. with so, she takes the role of class president well. with the help of her friends, she becomes a more loosened-up person.

› yumi respects her father, she admires his perseverance and wants to implement the same trait into her daily life. they rarely talk, but when they do it's either a reminder for yumiho to act better in school or praise her for great performances in class or in one of her plays.

personality ::
[ + ] yumiho is passionate towards what she centres herself to. whatever catches her attention makes her determined to focus on that specific subject until the intrigue wears off. she is someone who doesn’t give up easily but if she knows it's something she would have trouble tackling, she wouldn't go for it. her weak spot is lack of openness because she's reserved. much too often she is mistaken for someone mean when she only has honest and good intentions. reckless most of the time and sputters out words she doesn't mean. is never an emotional wreck considering high control on her emotions.

absolutely affectionate and caring for those around her but her actions are so minimal or reserved that it may not seem like so. gets into arguments a lot because she likes justifying what she believes is right. sometimes, she'll lose fights and arguments but she's not afraid of being proven wrong or disapproval from others. she is also somewhat on the clumsy side but it rarely happens because she takes care of herself. although what’s expected from a leader is intellectually strong, and even if she is seen as one, miho is not nor does she consider herself as someone smart. she relies on her gut feeling more than anything. she has her insecurities bottled up. she does not want anyone to view her as a burden.

[ + ]  somewhat unresponsive and stoic because even though his actions are reserved, his words speak for themselves. a straightforward romantic. he says what he needs to say, says what's on his mind but with regards to the person he's talking to's feelings, thoughts, and/or opinion on what he's going to say. blunt but in a good way. a mood-lightener, at most. conscious most of the time towards his words.

love interest's first impression of your character ::
[ + ] intimidated is a common word and he's no different. honestly, yes she's intimidating but it was sort of attractive to him to know that her sense of passion is very strong. he also respects her leadership amongst the students. he tries to help her in any way he can because he sees the difficulties in being president (even when she insists not to)

your character's first impression of her love interest ::
[ + ] yumi was first awestruck when he met someone with, dare she say, the same level as hers. when she sees how driven he is, how serious he takes his responsibilities, and how well he does with misunderstandings. it’s because she sees a lot of herself in him that she tries to make an effort to know him better. she's not one to be attracted to someone at such a quick pace but when she explores more of her newfound feelings, she's anything but not more intrigued. to say she was excited to meet someone like her was an understatement.

how does your character act around her love interest? ::

› trying not to notice her sudden attraction but realizes it’s too late. she’s really, really timid about showing affection so it comes off as a rather cold attempt to ignore him but really, she’s just trying hard not to show how much she cares. every attempt he makes, she shoves it away. she’s aware of her feelings but strongly believes her duties are more important. that leads her to failure to get closer.

› she opens up as much as possible. she doesn't wsnt the love potion to go to waste and wants to cherish every gesture he makes towards her. she’s still somewhat cold but it’s a tough act to follow when he’s head over heels and confidently in love with her. she becomes more approachable and the change is evident. the change allows her to be more loose of a person than she already was.


how does the love interest act around your character? ::

› awkward conversations were always a usual starter but eventually moved to comfortable chats about classes, and homework, and the weather. he would ask from time to time how theatre was working out for her and about recent plays. other than student council problems and matters, everything out of the subject would be uncharted territory for him. he doesn’t engage in anything to much without her consent either so the chances for him to get closer to here before the intake is slim.

› he becomes clingy. really clingy. more emotions are show throughout the effects of the potion. he’s as if in a drunken state but in love. it takes no effort for him to go out of his way to bother her again and again to catch her attention. doing acts he wouldn't do if he hadn't drunk the potion. he would seat beside her when recess, he would bug her on student council meetings and so on and so forth.
